" Beryl" he whispered his heart pounding erratically the blood in his veins boiling as he thought about what this horrible woman had done to everyone who stood in her way.
" Now now little prince no need for hostility. Where are your manners? No doubt mommy and daddy didn't raise you that way did they?" she mocked her right hand petting him like a dog.
Swatting her hand away Seiya gritted out, "Don't you talk about them you damned woman you have no right."
Feeling the small sting on her hand Beryl threw her hand up throwing Seiya from one side of the room. Her other hand had begun to conjure a ball of dark energy.
Blocking her attack the young prince of Earth threw her back with his own attack. A blue light erupted from his palms surprising the wicked conjurer and throwing her back against an armoire.
" You'll pay for that" she said wiping a bit of blood from her forehead. Her eyes turned into an even deeper orange filled with rage, energy began to radiate from her whole body as she manifested more power. Seiya grew fearful he should've had a better plan.
The door opened though neither one noticed the rattling of the knob.
" What's going on" said Rini before her eyes landed on the man the floor clutching his right arm. She ran to him letting the door shut with haste. The witch took the opportunity to enchant the door locking it from the inside.
As Rini noticed the click of the door her eyes went to the obviously supernatural woman a few feet away from her.
"Major Beryl" she exclaimed trying to shield the man's body with her own.
"Oh how sweet you're going to protect him from the big bad wolf?" she said releasing a cackling shriek.
"Run get out of her, keep Serena safe," he said trying to get up.
In a split second Beryl was in front of Rini lifting her by the throat, "Sniveling brat I'll dispose of you before you can even blink."
Panicking Rini looked around the room but it was no use there was nothing to grab onto or do. Devastated and panicking Rini cried out for the first time in years, releasing all her anguish into high pitched screams. Sonic waves were released from the unicorn necklace vibrating throughout the whole room and causing Beryl to cover her ears dropping the pink haired woman on the floor.
"Ahhhhh what is that?" she gritted out. Taking advantage of the situation Seiya stuck her once more the blue energy electrifying her.
"This isn't happening" yelled out Rini still crying. "Please shut up, now is not the time" he pleaded though his tone came out sharper than intended. Rini stopped her tears trying to calm down her heart beat. Beryl shrugged off his attack regaining her powers.
" No, what" he cursed trying to put more power into his attack. He realized Rini's cries were slowing her down. " Yell out, cry with all your might" he yelled as another attack hit him in the back dropping him to the floor.
The pink haired woman cried out lunging forward to protect Seiya from the wicked sorceress. "You'll pay for this I swear," she screamed as the witch dropped her knees covering her hears. Another light shot out from the necklace a pink form of energy burning the redhead.
"Ahhhhhh," groaned the witch before grabbing her orb and disappearing into a ball of dark smoke.
The two let out a sigh of relief, Rini allowing her head to fall on Seiya's shoulder.
"Who are you?" he croaked out, cocking his head to the side as if though he was waiting for her to grow another head.
" I don't know," she whispered a small tear dropping down her cheek, slumping next to Seiya he wrapped an arm around her feeling sorry for the young woman next to him.
Serena opened her eyes a shot of despair had gone through her as she realized Darien was nowhere in her sight. She tried to sit up but it was no use she was too weak. Her hand found the nurses button.
"Where is Darien" she said the anguish apparent in her voice. " Sere relax, he's fine. Just a few minor injuries he's getting some rest, which is exactly what you should do. In a few hours if your vitals are fine you can go into his room and check on him," came the soft reply of the nurse.
Relaxing at the newfound information, Serena nodded before falling back into a deep sleep.
Coffee mugs sat on the counter of Venus Diner; both were untouched as the two tried to get the other to talk first.
"I need to know what you know" she said emphasizing on need.
"I need to know that I can trust you" he said looking out the window. Noticing his relaxed state she tensed, "How can you be so calm? The mayor of this town is some she-demon, Serena is in the hospital not to mention I have my suspicions that there are more things wrong in this town than I can count on my fingers" she said tensely looking from side to side.
"You're not wrong on that assumption Pink, trust me" he said taking a sip of the cold coffee an unpleasant look turning on his face.
"Okay I trust you, so trust me" she said anxiously.
With a chuckle he replied, "That's not how this works." The conversation turned quiet. Not wanting to waste any more time Rini spoke up with a sigh.
"I got a letter at my door a few weeks ago, saying things that no one knows well except for my parents." She shook her head,
"My adoptive parents actually well the letter said I would find my birth parents here and honestly it's been a bust. I have no lead." He nodded taking in what she was saying.
"Happy?" she said a frown on her dainty face.
"I'm looking for some people as well, well I'm trying to wake them up," he said guilt flickering in his eyes for the faintest second.
"I'm guessing you won't give me any more than that?" her eyebrow shot up.
"For the time being yes, but I do believe we can help each other," said Seiya with a smirk signaling for the waitress to refill the mug of coffee, "We need Serena."
"This should be interesting," replied the pink haired woman annoyance apparent on her face. She wondered what could Serena have to do with anything, nonetheless it was the first lead she had since the first day she arrived.
The pair was released that next morning. Hand in hand they left walking towards the town center
" So now where to ?" he said softly though she had offered her home to him the day before he was afraid she had said it in an emotional haze.
Her eyes softened as she reached up to stroke his cheek, "I told you my place. I'm not letting you wander away" she giggled before blushing.
He chuckled picking her hand up from him face and drawing it to his lips, "Even if I had somewhere to go, I would never leave you willingly."
Her heart began to accelerate as her eyes followed his lips and rose back to meet his eyes.
With a wicked grin she took his arm and practically sprinted to her apartment.
The couple stopped stealing kisses and sweet sayings behind trees or even in the stair case of her building. In a second they found themselves in front of her door she fumbled with the keys while grabbing the back of his neck attacking the flesh there and pulling at his shirt. Soft moans radiated from the floor they were on though they were too lost to care about who could hear them.
The door closed with soft thud, the keys thrown on the ceramic bowl Artemis had insisted on. Much to Serena's joy, Artemis's keys were missing. Yes she practically squealed before lunging towards Darien who had untangled himself from her.
He was surprised by her sudden passion but concluded that her roommate wasn't here. His mind went back to task of feeling as much of the captivating blonde woman as he could.
Another thud was heard as he pushed her towards the wall lifting her up and allowing her to wrap her legs around his torso. She moaned against his lips before starting to undress him. Her hands grabbed the hem of the plain blue shirt throwing it over his head her hands roaming over his chest admiring the hardness of it.
He tilted her head up, their eyes met for a split second before she threw herself into another kiss. She bit, sucked, and licked everything she could reach. But he had grown impatient as well. In silent question he began to tuck at the red shirt she was wearing.

The shirt hit the floor but his eyes stayed directly on her face the same crooked smile on his face. Not wanting to waste any more time she took his lips again molding her body to his. He let her do her exploring touching her as little as possible relishing in her frustration. He admired the way her body would cling onto him for, the needy sighs that escaped her sweet lips when he grazed them lightly. She yanked her skirt down flinging it on the couch turning her attention back to the man in front of her.
"Stop teasing me or I'll stop all together" she said while nibbling on his earlobe though her threat was an empty one she was tired of all he teasing.
"I'm just letting you have your wicked way with me," he grinned silencing another protest with his mouth.
Her hands wandered downward wanting to give him a taste of his own medicine she slipped her hands into his pants gripping onto his cock. A groan above urged her forward but soon his hand was on hers also encouraging for her to continue.
Stilling her hand he took his hand away from him. Lifting her so she could once again wrap her legs around him her arms rested on his forearm.
Their breathing settled as they contemplated their next move, sensing his hesitation she spoke first, "It's the first room to the right."

Gently he placed her on the lush comforter. Serena sat up on her elbows wanting to pull him back down with her. "Hey I didn't mean for you to drop me all by myself. I miss you," she said with furrowed eyebrows a pout on her pink lips.
With a chuckle he dropped to his knees, "I want to look at you, admire you like this… so beautiful" lust filling in his eyes as he traced her left thigh.
"I'd rather you hold me," though in reality what she wanted was to be utterly ravished. His left hand switched to the right thigh. Her breathe hitched as she became lost in his touch her own hand covered his. His finger grazed just at the edge of where she wished he would.
Biting her lower lip to an almost painful degree she moaned, "You promised me no more teasing"
His warm breathe tickled her ear, "I said no such thing Serena"
His other hand began to play with the edge of her bra, moving it ever so slowly almost making her believe his touch wasn't there. A string of moans broke from her mouth.

"She should be in bed resting, Artemis told me she would be home now." came a voice she recognized as Rini's, " I'd rather we wait but if you think it's that urgent we'll wake her."
"Serena" he exclaimed. Frozen to the spot under the door frame, oblivious to the situation Rini continued walking into the room. Serena was wrapped up in his arms obviously he had interrupted the intimate moment they had shared. The blonde wrapped her arms around his waist trying to wake him up. Eyes stirred open dark blue meeting dark eyes.
"I'm so sorry, Seiya get out," a blush crept on the younger woman's face. " We should've have knocked" she pushed the handsome man out the door but not before he turned to Darien.
"Endymion" he said staring directly at Darien. A million emotions went through his body guilt, jealousy, resentment, and a tinge of happiness that his brother was alive.
The look of confusion made him remember that the man he knew as his brother had no recollection of his past life or name.
"Just get out" screamed Serena not really in the mood to be polite at the dark haired man.
" You idiot you heard her," yelled an embarrassed Rini yanking him by the wrist out the door.
Darien on the other hand tried to cover as much of Serena without uttering a single word.
"Im sorry love" he said against her skin placing a gentle kiss against her shoulder.
" It's not your fault, it's just rather embarrassing" she said softly turning to him and kissing him softly on the lips.
"Whenever you're ready, we'll face them together" he replied his eyes never leaving hers before nuzzling her neck.
At this Serena blushed surprised how at peace he could make her feel.
"What the hell were you thinking?" she yelled at the sour faced man. "I know you said Serena is the key to this but don't just go barging into her room, now we'll have to wait until he leaves."
"Shut your mouth" he barked.
At this Rini shook surprised at his tone but then realizing what she knew all along, Seiya was harboring feelings for Serena, deep feelings by the look of it.
Before she could apologize two people entered the small living room. Darien dressed in what seemed to be sweatpants while Serena donned a simple dress. She strode over to Rini hugging the small woman, "I'm so glad you're okay Rini" perplexed by her statement she countered, "I'm not the one who was in the hospital for two days."
"No but I heard about the break-in at the hospital, why anyone would try to break into a hospital is beyond me but I heard you were there when it happened kid" her eyes filled with concern.
Seiya couldn't help but felt uncomfortable with the whole interaction, he felt stupid for even coming in the first place he cursed deciding to work with the pink haired woman. His brother for lack of a better term stared at him intently though no one emotion could be traced in those blue eyes.
A hand was waved in front of him, "Seiya you know Serena right?" Of course they both knew he knew her but they had to ease into the situation. Rose gardens, crystal castles, and the glowing light of the moon filled his head.
"Thoroughly" he said before flushing pink. " I mean yes Serena, you're the singer at Diamond's?"
"Yes, I am. This is Darien" she said carefully not sure what else to say or why this man was in her living room. As Rini reached out to touch his hand laughter and a crystal castle flashed before her eyes. Her eyes glazed over as if she had seen into another or another life she thought before shaking the thought out of her eyes.
Seiya felt the same chill though he knew very well why the vision had occurred, the curse was breaking. He had to awaken the guardians and generals as much as he wanted to trust Rini he knew that only the senshi and generals could be trusted completely. Most importantly he had to stop Beryl and Diamond no matter the cost.
