Well… its been a while that's for sure. -3- we can always blame my playstation 3 for sucking me into its addicting ways. Just kidding, here is the chapter I promised and I will try to get the next one done soon because I owe you all. A lot. I don't own this in anyway, not the characters at all. Capcom owns it though. :3 Also, happy remembrance day. C:

Graduation for the grade twelves got closer and closer. No one could stop time, no matter how hard they tried or how much they wanted too. Everyone grows up and one day Helena would be in line to graduate just like Leon. It was the inevitable, the cycle of life but the only thing that wouldn't change is their relationships with each other and to keep it memorial they saved up for a camping trip in the woods about three hours out of the city. A trip that the grade twelves could remember that they did in high school with great people that none of them would ever forget. The lake just happened to be named after raccoon city being the closest campsite the city bought that bought in a lot of tourists. Although the caves that were known there were a site, many have gotten lost, with the luck of being found a day or two later, it still got everyone to come in and risk that for some reason. There was nothing to fear for all of them since they'd be with someone before they got lost.
Helena placed an empty suitcase in her room, laying the hollow object on the floor with the flap side lazily on the ground sloped and attached to the package. The empty space had irritated her more then she thought. Helena didn't know what she wanted to take with her to the trip and the basics weren't as basic as she thought. There was always the fear of forgetting something important to her, that she would be a little disappointed she forgot it in the first place but for sure she placed her health needs such as toothbrush, shampoo, and anything else along that lines. The dance that happened not too long ago wasn't as interesting as Leon's party, despite the fact Helena and sherry swapped dates just for the hell of it, it was dancing and talking. However the camping trip came up over and over with the group of who is taking what responsibilities and most fell on the girls of the group as the guys had claimed irresponsible immediately however most of the fund money came from them for the food and for the lot they took. Two separate ten men tents were bought as well which meant the three day vacation away from the city would be something new for most of them and space would be needed for the females as well as males. The brunette sighed as the first thing was her bathing suit, because after that she wanted to chuck the rest of her wardrobe in. it was only three days but so many scenarios played in her head and packing light was not a term used well with her since this would be her first time camping in her entire life. It was just as exciting as it was fearsome but it was too late to back out now. Her boyfriend was just excited in general going out with her on a small get away from the drama that usually lied within the school. This made her nervous as well. If she learned from anything she read in a book or from a movie it's that the boys like being alone with the girls.
A simple buzzing came from her phone that rested on her wardrobe but she was too lazy to crawl over and get it, leaving it to hang up and go to her voicemail. Once again it erupted into loud vibrations which now motivated her to grab the device and answer.
"Hello?"
"Ouch. You don't even pick up the phone for your best friend in the whole entire world? I am insulted and I'm going to go eat all the bags of chips I saved for you." Sherry began in a slight rage that she was only kidding in and attempted to remain in her attitude but it failed and she ended in laughing, "Anyways, I need you to come over and decide what I need to bring to this trip! I have so many outfits just in case it rains or what if it is hot or even windy. There are so many decisions and so many things I could bring. I need you, Helena." The blonde was in the same situation as she was, the sound of frustration in her voice that grew into annoyance, "I got my bathing suit though so I'm not too worried about that but it's the summer so everything will be all warm and stuff."
"I'll be over in a bit… we should see if Sheva wants to come over too to decide what you should wear. It'll be best if we include her in everything since she is coming and she is our friend. We can't leave her to suffer alone with Chris and the guys because we both have been there and we both don't want to go back. What they say when they are together is unbelievable." Helena threw on a sweater, holding the phone to her ear as she spoke to save their friend and Sherry agreed very well with her, "I'll be over in a bit, I'll get Leon to drop me off if he's not busy and pick up Sheva on the way."
"Alright, see you soon." Sherry replied hanging up first. Helena made a quick call to her trusty boyfriend and knight in shining armor. As it rang for a few seconds she finally got an answer from him.
"You do realize its noon on a Saturday and the golden hour for a nap is between twelve and four." Leon muttered in a very unsatisfied tone which obviously meant he didn't read who was calling that well. Helena smiled to herself as she crawled on the couch, her little sister crawling on the couch between her legs.
"I can call later instead if you would like," Said she with a small smirk now that he realized who it was and not one of his friends that he's so buddy-buddy with. "I just need a simple favor that involves a ten minute adventure to my house, to Shevas, and then to Sherry's."
"You want me to drive you to your friends' house?"
"Well, Sheva is with Chris, Piers, and Jake right now so I'm on an adventure to go save her and then we need to go to Sherry and save her from the dilemma of what to bring to the camping trip that is next weekend. Even I am not packed."
"Girls are so complicated but I will drop you off. I'll be over as soon as I can but I'm going to the store so is it alright if I make a quick stop on the way? I'll buy you something really tasty, Lena." His tone was promising and that lured her into spending at least another five good minutes with him. Not that she really minded considering they are dating and that they kissed twice. The situation between them was like two awkward kids who have the same feelings. Although she wants to kiss him more, he seems to back down a lot when chances come clear and she hints. Once the phone line was dead it was not long until his truck was parked in front. The brunette pulled off the couch, moving to the door where she waved to her sister and called to her mom where she was headed off too now. Her father instead answered and met her outside on the porch where Leon always met her. Her father smiled and shook Leon's hand.
"It's good to see you're up and well, Mr. Harper." Leon smiled kindly as he usually did when he dealt with anyone. The two began a conversation about football and how his scholarship is going, which in the end was a rage about the expense about college. Helena had good grades which opened a lot of options to many futures so far. Once the conversation ended her father patted his back and smiled.
She shut the door of his truck, slipping on the seatbelt and looking at him cautiously to study any expression of another meeting with her father. Helena watched his ocean blue eyes follow from the gear shift of the truck to her beautiful orbs. Leon smiled reassuring her that he no longer made him feel intimidated or even scared despite when he went over to her house a few more times after but her father scared the shit out of him. And that was her father's goal from the beginning.
"It gets better… I really think he'll kill me if I touch you." Leon laughed it off, driving off down to the store before going to Chris's house to save Sheva. When they stopped they walked inside the store hand in hand Helena noticed some familiar faces in which she used to got to grade ten with. It wasn't a great sight for her since she really hated her old school, there were friends she missed but there were also bullies she didn't miss. The old school she attended is where she let them beat her down with their fists and verbal abuse and when her parents offered to move she packed her things up faster than ever. Manuella was the transfer student who was beyond beautiful and fit in with the other kids who weren't popular but just assholes. She turned her back to them once one of them caught a glimpse and Leon chatted on to her about what he was bringing to the camping trip.
"Are you alright, babe?" Leon noticed how she looked at the bottom shelves for anything in that really wasn't that interesting, "Is it the two boys and girls over there?"
"I'll meet you outside and yes. It is them." She stood up and left while Leon picked out a treat for himself as well as his girlfriend. Once he paid he noticed the group of four leave as well not long after her which he found rather suspicious. When he went outside he heard immature name calling that was directed to his woman but not true at all.
"I haven't seen you in a while, Hog. Why'd you run?" Manuella smiled as she tossed he words like knives, taking her hands and placing them on her hips while surrounding her against Leon's truck, "You know back at school everyone still talks about you and your big mouth. But you changed a lot for some reason."
"I bet you feel real tough because there are four of you and one of me. I'm not going to run from you if that's what you want. All you are is a coward who uses words and popularity to get what you want even if that means getting others people's hands dirty. I'm not fat and I'm definitely not lower then you." Helena snapped and stood her ground close to Manuella but one of her boyfriends shoved her into the truck. Leon shoved him back just as hard,
"Touch my girl again and I will break every finger you have. Got it? Back the hell away from my truck and back the hell away from my girlfriend." He took Helena into his arms, the two being almost laughed at but it wasn't long until another vehicle rolled up with her friends. Jake came out first from the back seat, ready for a fight with the one who touched his friend and everyone knew he had the look of a killer. If Jake didn't them then they didn't know what because getting the police involved in a student fight didn't look good for any of them.
"If you kids want a fight do it somewhere else because I can get the law involved." The worker came out with his phone out and up in the air to show he would really call the police. That was exactly what they didn't want.
"If was nice to see you, Hog. Please tell your good looking boyfriend he's dating a pig. I'm sure if that doesn't make him run then seeing you will." Her hands waved in the air as she entered into a car. The rest of them scattered off to Sherry's house instead of a convenient store parking lot. Helena was silent for a while until Leon began to ask the questions that the others were confused about as well. The only thing that really kept her quiet was telling she really wasn't the confident girl they all believed her to be. The reality was she is now. It was better to tell them the truth, there was nothing wrong with being embarrassed since they now know her nickname. She just couldn't wait to go on that camping trip with everyone.
