H-Hey, everyone! It's been a while since I've updated this story, hasn't it? I'm really sorry about that.

Thedoctor24601 (Guest): Okay, you're right. I have another story in the works (AKA: It's still in the 'Notes' process) and I'm trying to break away from 'handicapped Elphaba' and 'helping Galinda'. It should be a fresh break and I can't wait to start writing it.

Doglover645: Sorry, but that wasn't a 'Nia'.

Elphabalover101: Chinchillas and the past and present Elphabas? Including standbys and understudies? *Runs and hides*

There's a reference in here. I hid it really well, but see if you can spot it. It's not a 'Nia', but who can guess it?

Galinda frantically began to shake the green girl, trying to get her to wake up. "Elphie! Elphie! ELPHIE!"

The green girl didn't respond. Panicking, Galinda rushed into the bathroom, grabbed a bucket and filled it with water.

"Elphie!" she shouted as she threw the water on Elphaba.

The emerald princess was now soaking wet, and still unconscious.

Galinda's heart rate skyrocketed and her breaths came out short and raspy. Biting her lip, she forced herself to calm down, remembering that her Momsie told her not to panic in an emergency.

A knock at the door interrupted her from her thoughts and she dashed to open it.

"Madame Morrible!" the blonde gasped in surprise. "What… what are you doing here?"

"Miss Galinda, I heard your screaming all the from my office. Is everything alright?" Morrible asked, narrowing her eyes at the blonde.

Galinda shook her head. "I… we… have a… um… problem. My roommate… uh… collapsed."

"Define 'collapsed'."

"She dropped to the floor… collapsed."

Morrible looked over the blonde's shoulder and gasped, seeing the emerald princess on the floor. "I'll send for help immediately!"

Galinda let out a relieved sigh as Morrible disappeared down the hallway. Turning she rushed back to the green girl and gripped her hand. "I'm sorry, Elphie," she whispered softly.

Morrible returned, two men with a gurney running behind her. They gently scooped up Elphaba and laid her on the gurney and wheeled her off to the infirmary.

"I'm here! What happened? Is she alright?!"

Galinda looked up and saw a very frantic Vinkun prince running up to her. "I… don't know."

"Glin, what happened to my sister?"

"She… she found out that you told me to help her. She started yelling at me and then started wheezing before she collapsed."

"I need to see her!" Fiyero said, starting to walk past Galinda.

"Fifi, you can't. They won't allow you back there."

"I don't care! That's my sister in there! I promised my parents I would take care of her!"

"I know you did, Fifi. But…"

"But what?"

Galinda paused, seeing the love and worry in her boyfriend's eyes. Sighing, she slowly stepped away from the prince. "Nevermind. I'm sorry."

Fiyero closed his eyes and slowly exhaled. "No, I'm sorry." Giving the blonde and apologetic smile, he pulled her into a gentle kiss.

"Master Fiyero Tigulaar?"

Fiyero looked up at the nurse behind him and straightened. "Yes?"

The nurse smiled softly. "Your sister is stable."

"She's okay?"

The nurse nodded. "She's fine. We're keeping her here overnight for observation, but she's fine."

"Thank Oz! Can I see her now?"

The nurse frowned. "She's resting at the moment, but as long as you're quiet…"

Fiyero quickly rushed past the nurse through the double doors.

"I… didn't even tell him what room she's in," the nurse whispered, looking at Galinda.

A moment later, Fiyero peeked his head through the doors and gave the nurse a goofy smile. "Uh…"

"Room five," the nurse smiled.

"Thanks!" Fiyero bolted away and ran down the hall to room five. He quickly found it and, composing himself, quietly opened the door and slipped inside. He gasped softly, seeing his sister sleeping in the hospital bed, dressed in only a thin tan hospital gown. She looked so weak, so fragile. Blinking away tears, Fiyero slowly pulled a chair over to the side of the bed and gently took Elphaba's hand.

The emerald princess stirred and a soft moan slipped past her lips as she slowly opened her eyes. "Y-Yero?"

"Hi, Fae," Fiyero smiled, tenderly stroking the back of her hand.

Elphaba tried to push herself up, but Fiyero pushed her back down. "No, Fae. You have to rest."

"I feel fine. What happened?"

"You had an attack. They're keeping you here overnight. For observation."

Elphaba frowned. "I don't need to stay overnight."

"Well, they're keeping you here anyway."

"I'll miss classes."

"Galinda and I will get your notes for you. Speaking of Galinda, don't you think you owe her an apology?"

Elphaba's frown deepened. "You told her to take care of me."

"I'm aware of what I told her."

"You know I hate it when people take care of me. I can take care of myself, Yero."

"I know you think you can…"

"Who's thinking?"

"Fae, I care about you. If anything happened to you, Mom, Dad, and I would be devastated."

As Fiyero's words sunk in, Elphaba's face softened. "Yero…"

"We love you, Fae. We know you hate being helped, but we do it because we care about you."

"Why do you always have to be right?"

"I'm your older brother. I'm always right."

Elphaba rolled her eyes. "Where's Galinda?"

"She's outside. You want me to send her in?"

Elphaba nodded and Fiyero kissed her forehead before leaving. As soon as her brother was gone, Elphaba pushed herself up. Her head spun and she was about to lay back down, when the door opened and Galinda rushed in.

"Elphie, thank Oz you're alright!" the blonde exclaimed, running over to the green girl and wrapping her arms around her in a gentle hug.

"Glin, I'm sorry I yelled at you. You were only trying to help and…"

"Don't worry about it, Elphie. Fiyero told me you would be stubborn," Galinda smiled, gently pulling away.

"And you will promise to stop being so stubborn, right, Fae?" Fiyero asked, stepping into the room and closing the door behind him.

"I will make no such promises," Elphaba said, narrowing her eyes at her brother.

"Fae."

Elphaba sighed, but conceded. "Fine. Okay. You win. I'll try to stop being stubborn."

"That's good enough for us," Fiyero smiled, kissing his sister's cheek. "You should get some rest now."

Elphaba opened her mouth to protest, but Fiyero cut her off. "You promised to try not to be stubborn."

"Yes, try."

"Fae."

"Okay, fine."

"Good girl."

"I'm not a little girl."

"I know you're not."

Elphaba scowled up at Fiyero as he helped her lay down again. "Go to sleep, Fae," the prince whispered, pulling the covers up to Elphaba's chin.

"I'm not tired."

"I'm not asking you if you're tired, I'm telling you to go to sleep."

Elphaba fought to keep her yawn inside, but lost and sleepily snuggled under the bed sheets.

"Fresh dreams, Fae," Fiyero smiled, kissing his sister's forehead.

"… Night…" Elphaba whispered, her eyelids fluttering closed.
