Emma was rounding the house she hasn't seen in months and checking everything new in it. Her mom painted the walls grey and her own room was even moved around. She changed into some light blue jeans while in her room, and a long sleeve white top. Her hair was slightly wavy in a blowout way, very pretty and long. She tucked her hair behind her ears when she heard barking and hard wind coming from outside.

"Sparky." She breathed. Their damn dog.

As she put on her boots to go get the dog, she heard music from downstairs. Wow. Lucas and Sean must of hit it off...

Emma put on her blue leather jacket and scarf and opened the front door to go outside, she had the leash in her hands to get the dog. He was an Australian copper and white German Shepard. He played in the front yard in the snow and Emma gave a confused look as she walked down the driveway to watch him play.

"How long have you been out here?" Emma joked and then bent over, clapping, "Come here, Sparky."

He ignored her and kept rolling in the snow. Emma rolled her eyes, she swore this dog was deaf or didn't take well to orders.

"Sparky, lets go!" Emma pointed her finger to the door but the dog didn't move

Evil dog.

Emma scoffed getting cold as the wind grew some more so she crossed her arms and shivered a little. Why wouldn't he listen to her? Suddenly a whistle formed and the dog sat straight up and then took off over to her. Emma turned to see Sean walking down the steps and caught her eye too, and glanced at the Dog who came to him. He smirked, before looking back over at her. Her mouth hung open, what?! A complete stranger could control her dog more than her?

Wow... he was even better up close. Was is legal to be this good looking? Emma snapped out of it. Woah. Where did that thought come from? She never really thought like this or was ever blown away from looks. She always thought what was on the inside was the most important about a person...but it was hard to take her eyes off this guy.

"Um... thanks." She slowly said, then bent over to put the leash on Sparky, "Though it's weird he comes for a complete stranger instead of me." She said mostly to herself but he heard.

Sean looked her over. Don't think he didn't see her when he first walked in, or in family pictures. She was beautiful, and Tracker talked about her endlessly at work. He always wanted to meet her in person. The girl who got all A's in her classes, the girl who stole the spot light in her kid plays, who started protests at her highschool infront of a crowd. He had even heard from her mom that she started a food fight once.

Sean couldn't explain it, but he could practically see her glowing. She seemed different and interesting, even if he hadn't even met her yet.

"For as long as you've been gone maybe he thinks you're the stranger?" Sean suggests with a smirk that made Emma's knees weak. He finally introduced himself, "Sean." He joked slightly, "There. Now I'm not a complete stranger."

Emma eyed him carefully with her hazel eyes, and snow started to fall around them. He was probably a player or something with all the right moves he was pulling right now.. she had to keep cautious. The dog started to bark and they snapped out of smiling at another. The front door opened again, only Spike and Tracker stood there.

"It's getting cold, you should go inside." Sean insisted, but strangely, she didn't want to go.

Before Emma could reply, her Dad spoke up, "You aren't leave are you Sean?" he looked up at the snowy dark sky, "It's getting bad out there! Storms coming"

"It's fine.." Sean confirmed, petting the dog once more on the head and stuffing his hands in his pockets to begin walking to his car.

"Please stay the night Sean," Spike declared, "It's not going to be a nice drive home. Don't make me angry."

"You won't like her when shes angry." Joked Tracker, leaning on the door frame and passed Spike a smirk.

Sean pierced his lips as he turned and thought it through. Emma had her back to him still holding Sparky and tossed over her shoulder as she began walking inside, "There's hot chocolate."

Sean's eyes followed her go up the stairs and back into the house and it took a second to realise he was grinning. One night wouldn't hurt.

..God she was a fox.

"He TALKED to you?" Mia whispered loudly in the bathroom with the girls, putting down her toothbrush after brushing her teeth.

Emma shrugged simply while putting her hair up in a top bun while she leaned on the sink, "Whys that so weird?"

"I went to the same highschool as him for a bit," Mia explained, "You can guess, he was a heart throb. He never really paid attention to any girls or at least seemed interested other than for ...you know."

"Getting laid?" Manny blurted while brushing her hair, and giggled, "Clearly he has a little crush now."

"hardly." Emma declared, rolling her eyes and wishing her stomach would stop doing little school girl things, like butterflies in her stomach. This was stupid. She was 20 years old!

As Emma skipped down her stairs after, she saw Lucas passed out with a few beers beside him and the tv still on in the living room. She snickered and went over, shutting it off and grabbing the beers.

On her way to the kitchen to go throw them out, she heard movement and stopped by the sliding door.

In the kitchen, Sean sat on a chair beside the table and Tracker stood infront, pacing around the kitchen before putting something on the table in front of Sean. It looked like a check.

Sean sighed and looked away from it, making Emma curious to what it was and why Sean wouldn't take it. Her father was a great guy, it had to be something that was important.

"I don't want it." Sean said, shaking his head and stood up, backing away from it.

"Sean. Just take it." Tracker pleaded.

Sean declined, "Don't need it." He went toward the door Emma was hiding behind and her eyes widen and began to walk in as if she heard nothing.

"They're going to kill you-" Tracker stopped talking as he saw Emma appear and Sean stopped in his tracks, almost bumping into her and his eyes clouded with fear and worry that she heard. She looked suspiciously at him and Sean looked away and down at the floor. He swore she knew something and he swallowed the lump in his throat. Never has he cared what anyone ever thought about him, yet it comes this girl..

"What's going on?" Emma questioned, eyeing between the two.

Sean clenched his jaw before finally looking up and just walking quickly by her... the kitchen door slammed so hard it swung back and forth a few times. What were they hiding?

"Nothing." Tracker assured Emma and went by her, kissing her forehead, "I'm going to go turn off the lights outside then hit the sack."

That night, both Emma and Sean laid awake for a bit, plenty of things on their mind.

Emma awoke with a jump..she must of dozed off but now she sat up in the middle of the night. She glanced beside her to Manny still sleeping and she looked around til she heard more movement. It was coming from downstairs. What the heck was that?

Emma quietly got up and slowly left the room, putting on her red zip up sweater over her tank top and small black shorts. She immediately saw her front door open as she closed the bedroom door behind her and tilted her head a bit but saw nothing. She could hear the wind though. Spooky. On her way down the stairs she yelped when someone grabbed her arm from behind.

She turned to Sean, and exhaled deeply but snapped, "You gave me a heart attack!" she then scanned him over...he was wearing just jeans. My god those biceps...and that 6 pack. Okay, bring on the real heart attack. She tried to distract herself with glaring at him. Soooo not working.

"Sorry."

Emma eyed him and asked, "What are you doing up at this time anyways?"

He raised a cigarette, "Smoke."

"Did you already go outside?" Emma asked. Sean shook his head no and she glanced at the front door, "Then why's it open?"

Sean looked to it as well and without seeing himself do it, he backed Emma up behind him. Emma tried not to blush, but she did feel pretty safe with his protection.

"Stay here." He ordered and went to check it out.

"This is my house." Emma confirmed while whispering and followed him still down the stairs. Sean rolled his eyes to look back at her, he just wanted her to stay just to be safe- what if there really WAS something dangerous out there? She seemed so stubborn. Sean then smirked and shook his head, fine. She clearly wasn't the every day damsel in distress.

Sean still led though, and she couldn't tear her eyes off the muscles from behind. His shoulders were so buff, his arms so in shape. Back toned- "AHH!" someone had grabbed her when they reached the last step, and Sean quickly turned and grabbed the guys throat, ripping him off Emma and into the wall harshly.

"WOW!" the person yelled, eyes widen but somewhat amused (but in a bit of pain) "I LIVE HERE!" came the yell from the victim in Sean's strong choke hold and Sean glared down madly at the guy til glancing at Emma. Emma turned on the lights and her eyes widen to then roll.

"SPINNER!" She exclaimed and rolled her eyes, "What is WRONG with you?"

Spinner sheepishly grinned in Sean's chokehold, "tons of things." he declared bluntly and gazed at Sean and back to Emma, "Can uh, your crazy unhumanly strong boyfriend let go now?" he added, "quite cute though." he smirked. See? Gay. And proud.

Sean eyed him wierdly but let go as Emma chose to ignore the fact Spin just called him her boyfriend. "He's not." she muttered and changed the subject, "You couldn't of closed the door when you came in?"

Spinner adjusted himself and brushed himself off from Seans attack and explained, "I needed to pee and my hands were full of bags." he eyed Sean up and down eagerly, "So you're single then?"

"It's way too early for this." Sean muttered to Emma, now standing by her and narrowing his eyes at Spinner before glancing away. Emma tried to hide her laugh.

"Walk with me." Spinner insisted, leading them to the kitchen. "Where's the dog?" Spinner asked "What is he, 110 years old now?" he joked. Sean leaned on the wall and Emma just tiredly smiled. As if on cue, the Dog ran to Spinner from its bed in the kitchen, "Sparky! Come here you lil bastard." He picked him up.

"So how's Chicago?" Emma asked

Spinner kept petting the dog anxiously, "Hello Mr sparkyy, how are you? Yes you! You spark- he's not responding." He said about the dog and put it back down before answering Emma, "Oh it's great. Except... I lost my job." He cringed dramatically.

Emma rolled her eyes, "Wait until they find out." She nods at up the stairs to where her parents lights went on, probably hearing all the commotion and were coming down.

"They won't. Wanna know why? Because I'm great at hiding secrets." He whispered to Emma as if a secret and she laughed. Sean smirked watching between them, they seemed to be close siblings and hearing her laugh was-

The bathroom toilet from down the hall flushed, and Emma turned her head to then gasp, "Is that Craig?"

Spinner squinted his eyes, "Not necessarily."

Out a figure came, and he was tall, lean and good looking. He wore a backwards hat and had pretty blue eyes. "Hey." The stranger greeted awkwardly, noticing them all stare at him.. He had shaggy brown hair and full lips.

"Emma, this is my new friend, Jayson." Spinner said to her.

"Just call me Jay." The guy confirms with a heavy exhale, sounding exhausted. Might of been an interesting trip here from Chicago.

"Oh no, here comes trouble" Spinner joked as a new comer came into the room, Manny. Jay eyed her and she rubbed her eyes tiredly, he smirked. She was cute.
Spinner went on, "This little skank taught me everything I know about blow jobs. Came in handy when I found out I was gay."

Mannys eyes grew wide in horror, even Sean laughed behind Emma.

"Spinner!" she slapped him and looked at Jay to decline, until she saw what he looked like and stuttered, "No I-I didn't..." Wow! . .. he, was gorgeous.

Spinner explained to Jay, "Manny's our house guest. She's been friends with my sister for years now. She started eating all of our food and announced the guest room as hers around the age 16."

"Hi." Jay said, cracking a grin, not taking his eyes off her. He knew not to take Spin seriously, the guy could be a wise ass sometimes.

"Hi." She greeted back. Wow. He was really hot. But Gay, right? He's gay Manny! Manny shook her thoughts off and asked, "So Craigs-"

"Who cares about Craig!" snapped Spinner, groaning and just not wanting to talk about his ex.

"I'm going back to bed." She groaned and went back upstairs. Jay stood beside Spinner and chuckled, watching her go. He suddenly couldn't wait for tomorrow

"OOOhhhhh Gavin!" came Spike's happy cry for her son as she and Tracker came down the stairs.

"Mom-my! Papa! " Spinner greeted them. Spike smiled wide and hugged him as Tracker grumbled in the background.

He lazily slapped Spinners back and said, "Nice to see you."

Spinner pulled away from Spike, "Hey ma, why don't you smack some makeup on and make us some breakfast?" He gasped like it would be exciting and she playfully slapped him

"Oh stop!" laughed Spike, but did go towards the fridge to cook them something.

"I'm going back to bed." Emma said beside Sean, smiling and shaking her head. Her family was one of a kind.

"Nite..." Sean drifts watching her go and leaned on the kitchen counter.

Spinner and Jay slowly leaned on the counter with him on each side of him, watching Emma go as well, and catching Sean in a daze. Sean watched her til out of site, then noticed them beside him and looked at them and couldn't hide his grin as he muttered 'idiots' at them and left.

"Did Emma bring him?" Spinner asked his parents, narrowing his eyes to see Sean go, "I didn't think she'd rush into another relationship, not after..." he drifted off, not wanting to bring THAT guy up.

"He's my employee." Answered Tracker, giving him a wierd look. There wasn't anything going on between Emma and Sean. Least, there better not. That was his baby girl.
