Chapter 10
Rima's POV (Same day, just from Rima and Nagi's POV)
As we stepped out I felt something tickle my feet. I looked down and saw…a bunny! It was hopping away, but it touched me! Ahhh I might have rabies. (A/N I…don't even know)
Apparently I had a weird look on my face because Nagihiko the cross-dresser turned around with Lulu and asked if I was okay.
"Yeah, now shut up cross-dresser."
"I'm not—, you know what? Whatever."
"Ugh, come on!" Lulu whined.
"Oh? You actually want to do this?"
"No, but the sooner the quicker it's finished right?"
"Let's just go."
"Fine…cross-dresser."
He just face palmed in reply.
As it turns out, we had to cook. Don't they hire people to do that?
"Hey cross-dresser,"
"What?"
"Oh, so you admit that you are a cross-dresser?" Lulu asked with an eyebrow raised.
He just ignored her so I continued, "We have to cook?"
"Yeah"
"We…have to cook?" I said slowly.
"Yeah, what about it?"
"What about it?! I could chop my fingers off!" I yelled waving my arms wildly. Hey, I may be small, but that doesn't mean I can't make a scene.
"Relax, I won't let that happen."
"I'll sue you." I replied glaring at him with my arms crossed. During all of this Lulu was looking around the large kitchen we were currently standing in. There were stainless steel appliances, many stovetops and ovens, and so much more. I could get lost in this place.
"Ok" He said in reply to my statement.
I just glared at him before Lulu spoke up beside me, "So what are we going to make, and why are we going to make it?"
"We are gonna help make some simple spaghetti for the guest's dinner tonight. The chefs will cook the rest of the pasta."
"Huh?"
"The other people who come here aren't like you. They eat from a large buffet instead of cooking the food themselves."
"Lucky, I wish I could go home." I mumbled.
"What?"
"Nothing"
"You could join them tonight if you want."
"No way, I am NOT going to be mixed in with them." Lulu said while tilting her chin upwards.
"Suit yourself." The cross-dresser replied.
"Hey wait,"
"Hmm?"
"Where are the chefs?" I asked.
"They aren't going to be here for a while. So the kitchen is all ours right now."
"Ok"
"Alright, let's start." He said rolling up the sleeves of his black long sleeved shirt.
So, we were told to wash our hands, and wear an apron. It seemed like we were getting ready for a lab experiment or something. I honestly know nothing about cooking.
We were now standing by the sink, beside the cross-dresser watching him wash the tomatoes. He told us that we were going to make the sauce for the spaghetti.
So, here we are learning how to make organic spaghetti sauce.
"Rima, Lulu,"
"What?" I asked.
"You try"
I took a sharp breath before grumbling 'fine' along with Lulu.
"Ok, so Lulu go over to that sink," He pointed to a sink a little ways from here, that also had a basket of tomatoes.
"And Rima you stay here."
I stepped toward the sink and picked up a tomato from the basket beside me, and started to wash it. It was only a few seconds before my fingers slipped, and I accidently squashed it. I tried again, but the same thing happened.
"Argh, how do I do this?" I mumbled to myself.
"Do you need help?" Came his voice from behind me.
Now, if you're wondering why I ha-dislike him so much, I don't really know. Let me think…I guess it's because he dressed like a girl…? I'm like this towards everyone okay? Humph, don't judge me.
"No" I snapped.
"Hn" I heard him step back, and when I didn't hear him move any further I guessed that he was watching me from over my shoulder (which wouldn't be sohard considering how small I am).
Just ignore him, just ignore him I thought repeatedly, as if I was chanting a spell while trying not to let my frustration get the best of me. I huffed and grabbed a tomato from the basket, but I guess I gripped it too hard because I felt the tomato's juices squirt all over my hand.
I heard a chuckle from behind me, so I turned around and snapped, "Fuck this". I quickly covered my mouth with my back still facing Nagihiko.
Wha-why? Where did that come from?!
"Rima-chan…"
I rinsed my hands quickly, and then I turned around and gave him a deadly glare that made him shrink back, and rushed out of the large kitchen while ripping off my apron to get some fresh air, and to clear my thoughts.
Nagihiko's POV
What…just happened? Should I chase after her? No, Nagi that isn't even a question. You HAVE to find her.
I was rushing towards the door when I just remembered that I still had to stay with Lulu. What should I do? I can't just leave her here, but I can't exactly take her with me…
"Nagihiko"
"Wh-what?" I said confused.
She rolled her eyes before replying, "I heard everything, go and find her. You have to find her or else she'll be too stubborn to come back. I'll be fine, and if you try anything funny you can say goodbye to that hair of yours." She eyed me evilly at the end.
I inwardly gasped…she wouldn't. (A/N If you don't understand it's basically because when he dances traditional dances he has to dress up as a girl, so he kinda needs long hair)
"Ok, Lulu-san, but don't make me regret leaving you here alone."
"You won't, and just because you're helping my friend, I'll cook everything that all of us were supposed to make. Gosh, that girl is such a handful." She finished by rubbing her forehead.
I just nodded at her before rushing out the door. Something bothered me though…why was I so eager to find Rima? Weird.
Rima's POV
'Where am I?' Was the first thing that popped into my mind after I calmed down. Where was I now after my angry/frustrated march?
I seemed to be by some sort of tool shed. Maybe I can stay in there for now. Then, I won't be eaten by wolves. (A/N Silly girl, there are NO wolves…I think)
So I pried open the tiny tool shed's door. It was probably really old because the door stuck, but what choice did I have? The inside reeked. Eww.
I forgot my purse with all my stuff back at the kitchen in my dash out the door, so I couldn't spray any perfume to this place.
Stupid, stupid, stupid you are such an idiot Rima. So, in the dark with just a few rays of sunlight shining through the cracks in the wood of the shed I crouched down, and just stayed like that quietly and waited. Waiting for what I don't know.
The inside of the shed was just like how you would imagine an old, cramped, and abandoned shed. There was dust everywhere, and some tools scattered here and there.
After a while, my legs, and feet started to feel sore, and they were starting to feel paresthesic. (A/N The word for a part of your body 'falling asleep' like when you get that prickly or tingling feeling in your foot sometimes, and is that how you spell it?)
So, I stood up in the dark, and hopped around for a bit before trying to decide whether I wanted to crouch or sit down. I chose the latter.
So, I gingerly dusted off the cold floor, and reluctantly sat down. I lowered myself slowly (probably with a constipated look on my face) and sat down.
I don't know how long it was before I heard a knock on the door.
"Wh-who's there?" I said trying to keep the fear out of my voice. I mean, who wouldn't be scared-startled at least, if there was suddenly a knock on an abandoned tool shed's door.
"Rima? Are you in there?"
Wait…was that the cross-dresser? I crawled silently toward a crack in the wood, and sure enough it was him. I can't believe I can recognize his voice already.
I then stood up and dusted myself off the best I could before opening the door, and came face to face…err face to chest to be precise with the cross-dresser.
I started straight at his chest for a moment before saying, "You can move over now."
"Ah…sorry"
Once I closed the door behind me I looked up at him with an eyebrow raised and asked, "Why are you here?"
He cocked an eyebrow before replying, "The question is, why are you here?"
I was speechless, but he continued all of a sudden looking very serious, "How long were you going to stay in there?" He asked, more like demanded.
I was in a state of shock, where did this come from?
He stared straight into my eyes before continuing, "Rima, how long were you going to stay in there? You've been in there for 2 hours. Could you not swallow your pride and just go back after blowing some steam? And you chose here of all place to hide."
I was absolutely shocked at his sudden outburst.
"What makes you think that you can talk to me like that? And what makes you think I was too prideful to go back?"
"Not prideful, just stubborn. I think that you didn't want to come back on your own because you thought that it would be embarrassing, kind of like you would be giving in…into what I don't know. But isn't it even worse to freeze out here all because of you being stubborn? I mean you're wearing a dress for goodness sake."
Yes, I was wearing a checkered dress.
"That's…not true." But we both knew it was. If I went back I would be giving in, I would be saying that I wasn't able to stay away and be fine on my own. Like if you got in a fight with your parents and then you locked yourself in your room. Then, when you come out and apologize, you admit that you're wrong. I don't like that.
It's confusing I know, but somehow it makes sense to me, and Nagihiko somehow knew. (A/N Hey do any of you ever feel that way sometimes? I feel it too, but it's a bit different for me)
He raked his hand through his hair and held out his hand for me to take. I stared at it blankly, so I guess he got the message because he awkwardly retracted his hand to his side.
"Well let's go then Rima-chan."
He turned to walk away, so I followed him.
"Thanks…Nagihiko." I whispered.

"You're finally back! Oh, and I finished everything. It was a piece of cake…I actually baked a cake." Lulu said once we entered the kitchen.
"Oh, arigatou Lulu." Nagihiko said with a smile.
"Hem, hem can we go back now?" I asked impatiently.
"Ok"

The three of us were now seated on the sectional sofa. I was fiddling with my phone, Lulu was leafing through a magazine, and cross-dresser was listening to music.
He was lying down with his eyes closed. He looked so peaceful while I on the other hand was just so frustrated and confused. So much has happened already and it's only been around one measly week. Urgh.
On our way back Lulu asked me if cross-dresser did anything funny to me. I answered no, and she had a look of disappointment (I wonder why) on her face before she lightened up, and told me that she met a really nice guy who was named Tadase in the kitchen.
We were sitting there quietly with the occasional times when the clock chimed, or when somebody had to get up to go to the restroom until around 7:00PM when the others started coming in. Pretty soon everybody was here, and we were talking about how the day went.
Apparently Ikuto kept harassing Amu when they were monitoring how things were at the ranch, like if the place had any financial problems. They had to do that because Ikuto was the son of Aruto who was the owner of this place, so naturally he had to help with this kind of thing.
Utau and Kukai were on cleaning duty (I can imagine how that went), and Ran, Daichi, and Yaya were entertaining the guests which they said was a lot of fun. Yoru and Miki were welcoming guests, and Akira and Haru…where were they?
"We're back! And sorry for being late." I heard Akira say from behind my spot on the sofa. (A/N if you look back to chapter 6 you will be reminded of the architecture of the cabin)
I heard Yukari stomp our way from the kitchen, so I turned around to look towards the door to see what was going to happen.
"I told you to be back by sunset!" Yukari yelled.
By now, everyone was watching.
"Heh, dude you got in trouble on the first day." Ikuto teased with a smirk.
"Shut up" Haru grumbled. So that's what he looked like…black hair, and blue eyes. Hm.
Kukai was snickering the whole time.
"Yeah, you old hag, lay off a bit." I stated bluntly. I decided that it was time for me to say something. Besides, she was giving my friend a hard time.
Yukari looked like she was about to explode after my statement. Heh.
"You brat! Now I know why they sent you here, you have no manners at all!"
Not like I care.
"Whatever" I said rolling my eyes.
"Ano…Rima…I think you should apologize." Cross-dresser said, now beside me on the sofa in the same turned position I was in.
"No"
"Rima" He said, his voice firm.
Right, he saved me earlier today.
"Ugh fine, sorry Yukari for calling you an old hag."
Everybody was staring at me like I'd just eaten a bug. What's with them?
Yukari was an exception; she just glared at me in return.
Yaya broke the silence by shouting, "Yaya wants to eat!"
"Dinner's on the table." Yukari grumbled.
We got up and headed in the direction of the dining room while the guys left.

I was now in my room about to sleep, and Yaya was nowhere to be seen. Today really tired me out.
There are probably a lot of mistakes because I typed this in a rush, so sorry! Also, another long chapter yay! Thanks for reading :D
