Flashback

"Mama, mama!" The little girl called for her mummy from a distance. "Can I play with brother, today?" Her eyes was pleading.

The woman bent down to her daughter's level and ruffled her hairs. "Brother is busy studying. You can't disturb him, okay?"

"B-But..." The girl clutched her bunny plushie tightly. "Brother is always busy studying. When can we play together?" Tears were forming in her eyes.

"Iris-chan. Be a good girl and listen to mama, okay?"

End flashback

Iris was leaning against the tree with an opened book covered her sleeping face. Been here for more than two months, she knew where to enjoyed her outdoor napping and how to do it without getting busted.

"Here you are." Dantalion removed the book from her face. He almost died out of laughing when he saw Iris was drooling. He was rolling here and there holding his painful stomach.

"Dantalion-sama?" Amon and Mamon, his two faitful servants was in puzzled when they saw their master in his position. "What are you doing?"

Dantalion tried to speak but only muffled laughter came out. He just used his hand to shoo them away.

"Uh..." The three's attention back to Iris. "What's with the noise?" Iris rubbed her sleepy eyes with the back of her hand.

"Iris-sama."

"You should have seen your sleeping face." The Grand Duke of Hell finally composed himself. But he's still smiling mischievously.

Iris' eyes closed again. "It's just you. Who cares?" One hand was brought to cover her yawn. "Anything you want from me?"

Dantalion's face turned serious. He signaled Amon and Mamon to leave. "What do you mean by your parents been keeping you off from William?"

"It means exactly that." Her voice was slurry and her tone was lazy. She's more interested in keeping her dreams alive rather than chit-chatting now.

"Iris."

"Wanna travel to the past?" Her question got Dantalion's taken aback, but he took her extending arm anyways.

It was spinning. He felt sick to the stomach and his body was feeling like it was splitting itself into parts.

Finally, after what seemingly an endless journey, he arrived at a mansion – which he immediately recognized as the Twining's mansion.

There, he started to see Iris' dreams earlier. He saw a woman and a little girl. The woman was comforting her sobbing daughter. He could hear their conversation.

Nothing unusual about a mother consoling her daughter.

The scene fast forward to the night of the same day. Apparently, while playing alone, the little girl subsconciously emptied the oxygen at the garden. They're aware of this because their gardener was fainted and the doctor confirmed it was due to asphixiation.

How the hell asphixiation happened in an open-air place such as the garden?!

That's when they started to keep an eye on her more. And they noticed more about her uniqueness. She could bend the water whenever she's happy and a storm would come over whenever she's mad.

The climax was when she almost killed everyone in the mansion while she was sleepwalking.

No one knew what triggered it, and they had no slightest intention to.

That's when her parents decided to send her abroads.

In a flash, everything turned back to normal. Both Iris and Dantalion were back to how they were under the tree.

"You..." 'Astaroth never said anything about her time travel powers.'

"Yes. New power. Just discovered it. Probably because one of the seven keys have been found."

The man now frowned. "What do you mean by that?" Dantalion was uneasy. The bridge, according to Astaroth, should have never ever be opened again.

"My dreams."

Flashback

The same voice she heard in her dreams before was calling to her. She wasn't sure what the voice said, but the scene before her scared her out.

It's a red, bloody with corpse limping here and there.

The one who carries the red shall open the gate to a bloody war yet again.

End flashback

"It's you, isn't it?" Iris looked at Dantalion. "You're the first key."
