Chapter 2: What they didn't see.
"Ah!" The Doctor stepped out of the TARDIS, proud of his perfect landing, right beside two palm trees. A couple of kids ran by, but The Doctor didn't seem to notice them. "Huh." Martha squinted at the sun, seeming awfully bright.
The Doctor took notice of Martha and looked up at the sun as he sonicked his glasses (Yup, he is the eleventh, but he still keeps those old glasses around.) so they turned a dark blue.
"Seems like the sun here has developed a fault. But no need to worry, let's have fun for once! You and me, The Doctor and Martha Jones together again!" The Doctor kind of sang the last two words, making a reference to some movie Grace had showed him two regenerations ago.
So the two of them hopped down the boardwalk to the beach, well, The Doctor was hopping, with Martha running along by his side, keeping up with his constant chatter. The two of them did not notice the child with the blue hair and no nose staring at them through the tall grass on one side of the boardwalk.
