Chapter 3:
The two of them ran into the water, and then BOTH squealed because it was so cold. They had left their shoes in the TARDIS.
Suddenly Martha felt a tap on her shoulder. She whipped around and assuming it was The Doctor, poked him back.
"What?"
"I know you poked me."
"I SO did not."
"Then who was it?"
"Probably you are just feeling things."
"No, I felt it for sure."
Just then The Doctor turned around and saw a large figure on the lying on the ground, its skin slowly turning the color of the beach from the pale white it was.
"Wha-" The Doctor slapped his hand on Martha's mouth.
There was a quick loud zipping noise. The kids from earlier came out of some kind of portal and ran across the beach towards them. Martha reached out to help the obviously scared kids, but all of the children knelt down on the ground around the figure and turned into water that rushed around the white but now sandy tan creature.
It was then that the duo noticed that they were the only people on the beach.
The Doctor pulled out his sonic and pointed it at the sand. It turned into a dark barren land and only The TARDIS was the same.
The Doctor grabbed Martha's hand with a smirk on his face. Two strange aliens came out of nowhere with lasers.
"RUN!"
The two dashed up the boardwalk and into the TARDIS.
"Martha Jones, I missed that!"
"Doctor, they are pounding on the doors!"
"You know what to do." The Doctor started rushing around pressing buttons and pulling levers.
Martha opened the TARDIS door and pulled out her own sonic she had fashioned up out of old pieces in the back of the TARDIS and pointed it at the aliens. They both fell backwards just as the TARDIS dematerialized.
