Author's Note: I'm apologizing right now. I'm not good at writing action scenes and I sort of regret the fact that I wanted to write a story I knew would have action in it. I'm currently berating myself for that. Anyways, things heat up a little and yeah, the action sucks. I'm sorry... Anyways, I had to write this if i wanted to continue with my story. I hope you all can enjoy it... even if only a little ^^;

Shego led her half of the team towards the equipped soldiers, keeping to the shadows until they were close enough. The other half moved towards the glass cages, staying hidden as well. The two guards in the stairwell stayed on high alert, scanning everywhere carefully.

As soon as the attack team reached position, Shego threw a plasma ball into the middle of the soldiers, catching their attention. That was also the signal for her agents to work, and they did just that. They moved with enough precision that they managed to take down a decent amount of the guards without the use of a weapon, knocking them unconscious. Shego was working faster than any of them, but even then she felt it wasn't fast enough. She refrained from using her plasma as well, knowing that in the confusion if she accidentally threw a plasma ball or swiped at the wrong person, she could easily harm her own agents. She didn't want to risk it.

The retrieval group went to work as soon as all attention was on Shego's squad. They used lasers to cut through the glass chambers and to cut the bloody prisoners loose, getting as many as they could in one trip before going back for the rest. All in all they had 23 people to get out, and that would possibly cause a problem later when escaping, but all they could do for now was as Shego instructed. Hopefully she had a few ideas as to how to get out without any deaths.

It was in the middle of the fray that a few of the soldiers tried to run, scared that they'd be taken down and afraid of injury. As they ran up the steps they came across the two agents guarding the princess. Both of the soldiers were silenced as soon as their eyes befell the three on the steps. The guard closest had quickly knocked them out. He moved them away from the steps so they wouldn't obstruct the exit, also disposing of all their ammunition and taking all of the different bombs off of them.

The first round of prisoners freed were quickly brought to where the two agents were waiting with the princess, and leaned against the wall. Then the agents went back for the others, continuing to stay stealthy. They hadn't been noticed so far, so they couldn't afford to be noticed when they were almost finished.

Things were starting to get hectic where Shego's squad was. Guns were going off all over the place, and one or two bullets were hitting their mark. Her agents were getting injured, and she could only hope none of it was fatal. She couldn't work on saving anybody's life from a bullet wound while trying to get all the prisoner's out alive.

Shego no longer cared about the whole 'no killing' rule. She may have said she didn't care about it earlier, but now she had no qualms about one or two deaths of the enemy. If there was an 'accidental' death, she couldn't care less. She sped up and used more force as she fought. None of her agents would fight to kill, but she was different. The situation wasn't looking too great, and if she didn't up her game things were going to go downhill. There were too many soldiers to fight, and her own men weren't exactly in tip top shape anymore.

As soon as the rest of the prisoners had been brought to the stairs, Shego contacted everyone through her comm. link and told them the next part of the plan.

"Alright, the retrieval squad needs to start moving up the steps with those injured. You need to watch the front and back for any more soldiers. I'll call Betty and tell her to get us reinforcements, any she can scrounge up. Hopefully it'll include some sort of transportation and medical personnel. Then I'll let loose a few smoke bombs and that'll mean our squad is coming to you all. We'll hurry to get out as quickly as we can. We need to reach the tree-line as soon as possible. It'll be the best place to get some coverage for when they come out with the big guns before our reinforcements get here. I hope you all got that… Go!"

The retrieval squad had a hard time moving with so many injured, but some of the prisoners were able to stumble up the steps on their own, so that allowed for a bit more free movement. They were almost completely up the steps when Shego let off the smoke bombs and her squad went running for the stairs. She threw a few stun grenades into the room before she shot up the steps and grabbed the princess from one of the agents and ordered him to help some of the other injured personnel.

When they were heading up the steps they came face to face with more armored guards, all sporting guns.

Shego cursed and handed Maria to Kim. She then shot up the steps and knocked the guns from the first two guards, grabbing one in each hand and aiming at the other guards.

"You all are going to back up slowly or I'm going to blow you full of holes, got it?"

None of the soldiers responded. She cleared her throat and changed to their language, speaking with an even angrier tone. The longer this took, the longer it would be before she could get Maria medical attention, and it was pissing her off.

They slowly backed up. It wasn't until she reached the main stairwell when she saw that there were about 20 more armed guards waiting and aiming their guns at her. No wonder they hadn't retaliated. They were leading them to a trap.

She narrowed her eyes. Speaking in English she addressed her agents, "Back up and exit through a window in one of the rooms. I'm going to occupy their time."

"How the hell do you think you'll do that with all these guns aimed at you and so many of them?!" Kim hissed.

"Just shut up and go, get to the trees and try to hide. Betty should have reinforcements here any minute."

Kim wanted to refuse, but the other agents pulled her back, and she realized Shego was right. They needed to get those injured out quickly, and the other GJ agents were getting pretty tired, and many were injured.

She bit her lip and then followed the rest of her comrades, helping carry the injured and get them outside as quickly as possible.

The 30 armored soldiers were about to open fire when the GJ agents moved until they saw Shego drop the guns and pull two grenades from her belt, pulling the pins with her teeth in one fluid motion. It happened in the blink of an eye.

She grinned devilishly and said in their language, "You shoot me, I drop the grenades. You all blow up. Think carefully before you act. I'm prepared to die, but are you?"

A/N: So, was it bad, or was it bad? ^^; If I knew how to write action scenes well this would've turned out so awesome! I'm also sort of wishing I'd named the GJ agents too... then I could've been more specific, but I didn't think about it till now... hell... I hadn't even decided how many GJ agents there would be until like last chapter or whatever... So yeah, I'm sorry about how little I planned for this story... Anyways, it should get better once I no longer have anything truly action related to write xD I hope you all can bear with me so that we can get to the real KiGo goodness :)
