Author's Note: I'm still horrible at writing action... sorry xD Anyways, I hope I did it well enough that you all enjoy this chapter :) I'm actual not that ashamed of it (still pretty ashamed, but not as ashamed as for some of my other chapters... but I could be kidding myself into believe it's well done...) Anyhow, I hope you all enjoy :)

Nobody moved for what felt like an hour, when really only a minute had passed. As soon as Shego had seen her people clear the window she jumped backwards, tossing one grenade into the center of the soldiers and then throwing one down the steps to the basement on her way out the window.

The soldiers scattered, running for cover, none of them having the time to chase after Shego.

The green skinned woman dashed to where her agents were, taking a few of the injured from her men and then taking the lead.

"We probably have all of 3 minutes to get as far away as possible before they manage to gather themselves," the ex-villain sighed. "We need to find a good vantage point to wait for support." She looked around until she saw Kim. "Pumpkin, I need you to scout ahead for a good place to keep everyone hidden but still have enough room to escape if possible."

The redhead nodded and dashed off.

Shego halted her group, allowing them to take a breath and to look at their wounds while Kim did a quick scan of their surroundings. She walked over to where Maria was placed, brushing the hair from the girl's face.

The girl's eyes fluttered open and she managed a weak smile, "Hey."

Shego managed a dry chuckle, "Hey. How are you feeling?"

"Nauseous. In pain. How are you?" the princess managed.

Shego knit her eyebrows, "Better than you. Don't worry, we'll get you out of here. Everything's going to be ok."

"I know… you're here," she grinned slightly. "I feel safe."

Gently squeezing the girl's hand, Shego said, "Alright, get some rest. By the time you wake up, this will all be over."

Maria slowly closed her eyes and drifted back to sleep, a small smile on her face.

Kim arrived a few seconds later. "I found a small cave about a half a mile northeast. There's a clearing to one side and trees to the other. It'll be good for reinforcements to arrive but also have an escape with good cover if we're found."

Shego nodded and stood up. She looked to her agents and said, "Alright, we're heading out. We need to move as quickly as possible to get to safety."

The agents nodded and started picking up those injured.

Kim went to pick up Maria, but Shego stopped her. "Help the others, I'll get her."

The redhead's stomach lurched, but she did as she was told.

The green skinned woman picked up the princess and then they took off, Kim in the lead.

As they continued to dash through the forest, Shego tapped her comm. link. "Alright Betty, we found a decent area with a clearing for reinforcements to land. How far out are they?"

"Five minutes out."

"They have our GPS location?"

"Affirmative. They have several helicopters incoming with medics on board."

"Alright. Thanks."

"No… I should be thanking you. You're the reason my agents are still alive."

"Now's not the time. Praise me when we actually return."

"Stay safe."

Shego clicked her headset off just as they approached the clearing and the small cave.

They placed the injured inside the cave and continued to check over wounds and bandage them. Shego and two of her agents in good condition stayed watch at the mouth of the cave, all of them at the ready.

So far there was nothing, but Shego wouldn't take any chances. In a hushed whisper she told the other two lookouts. "I know that you aren't supposed to kill, and we've made it this far without having killed anyone, but there's a good chance that when the helicopters arrive we'll be under fire. At that time I don't necessarily need you to aim and shoot while we transport our injured, but I may need you to fire in their general direction. You may kill someone, and I need you to be prepared for that. Can you be?"

The two agents hesitantly nodded.

"I don't want you to have to kill, and I'm going to hope that the remaining tear gas, smoke bombs, and grenades I have will be enough to keep them from firing, but there's no guarantee. If we can't make it out with just those, I need you all to be prepared."

They swallowed.

She smiled ruefully, "Don't worry. I'll be shooting as well. You won't be the only ones that might accidentally kill someone."

One hesitantly asked, "I know that you've helped us and all, and that we wouldn't have survived without you… but why are you here?"

Shego chuckled. "I guess this is just as good a time as any to tell you." She ran a hand through her hair and sighed. "Betty had me follow to report on your progress and to communicate back with her. She didn't want you all to have to try to stay stealthy while updating her at every little checkpoint. Also… she wanted you all back alive, and she figured sending me was the only way."

"So you came here because you were ordered to?" the second asked, obviously offended.

"If it was just an order and I didn't care at all… I would have disobeyed it. But…"

"But what?" the first asked in a hiss.

Shego smiled slightly, "But Kimmie is here, and I can't let her get hurt."

They opened their mouth to speak, both confused, but were cut off when they heard the helicopters coming in.

The ex-villain scanned the surrounding area. "So far I see no hostiles. Looks like we might get out of here without too much trouble."

Then they heard the first explosion.

Shego braced herself against the cave when the ground shook slightly. "They're throwing grenades at the landing area? Those little shits." She then turned to her two agents and asked, "You guys ready?"

They nodded.

"Start with tear gas. When we run out of tear gas we'll use the smoke bombs and when the smoke starts to cloud everything up, we'll use the grenades."

They nodded.

The first volley of tear gas landed at the edge of the forest, and they could hear people running back, coughing and crying out in surprise.

Two helicopters managed to land.

Shego signaled for a first small wave of people to head to the two helicopters. She and the other two agents ran alongside them, guns at the ready and aimed at the tree line.

"Second volley," she ordered. Another set of tear gas was tossed slightly into the forest, just past the tree line. The enemy moved farther back.

The first to helicopters were filled and took off as Shego ran back to the cave with her agents. The next two helicopters landed and they began their second wave to the helicopters.

Shego was the only one with a can of tear gas left. "Volley in the smoke bombs."

Smoke bombs went in along with her one tear gas. She then told one of them, "Throw one grenade."

People yelled out as explosions went off, none of them expecting a grenade to come rolling in.

The two helicopters shot off with the second wave of injured.

There were two helicopters left, but one was still too far out to land just yet.

Shego ordered the rest of the GJ agents to get onto that helicopter while her and her two lookouts would stay and wait for the last one.

Kim wouldn't have it. She didn't want to leave without Shego, but the green skinned woman was prepared.

"I'm staying with you," the redhead hissed.

Shego placed her hands on Kim's shoulders, "You need to go. We'll be fine."

"I can't just leave you-"

The ex-villain silenced the hero with a swift punch to the gut. She handed the girl over to Will. "Go."

He nodded and took off with Kim, Shego distracting the enemy with another volley of smoke bombs and grenades.

As the helicopter took off and the last one came into view, Shego asked the two agents, "Are you guys ready for this? We only have one smoke bomb and no grenades left. There's a high probability we'll need to shoot, and there's an even higher probability we'll get hit."

"We already knew this mission had a high risk when we were sent on it," the first replied.

"We're ready for the worst," the second added.

Shego smirked. "Good to know. You two are Fitz and Coulder, right?"

Fitz chuckled, "I never thought you knew our names."

"Neither did I. I was just making a wild guess."

Coulder rolled his eyes, "Yes, after training us, how could you possibly know our names?"

The green skinned woman smirked. At least they could be sarcastic in such a dire situation.

As the third helicopter landed Shego asked with a grin, "You two ready?"

They nodded.

"Send in your smoke bombs, I'll send in my grenade."

After the volley they dashed towards the helicopter, but the smoke started to dissipate too quickly, the wind kicking up at the worst moment.

Shego grunted as she whipped her gun around and aimed at the trees. "You two keep running. Unless they fire back, you shouldn't need to shoot."

She stopped in the middle of the field to give them enough time to get to the helicopter. Then she ran towards them, hurtling herself into the helicopter as shots started to ring out from the enemy lines.

As she hauled herself into the plane and they took off, Fitz and Coulder grinned and gave her a friendly pat on the back. "Never thought you'd be the one saving our ass, always thought you'd be the one frying it."

Shego chuckled, "Let's go home."

A/N: I kind of randomly decided I wanted to name the two agents she was using and so I just kind of randomly called them Fitz and Coulder. I like them though. I just made them up, but I like them :D Anyways, I hope this wasn't too horribly done... but do not fear, the action scenes are coming to a close and so I won't be writing something I don't know how to write ^^; Let me know what you all think, and I really do hope that this is satisfactory :)
