18. Chapter 18: Battle Of Tokyo

Chapter Eighteen: The Battle Of Tokyo

The Anguirus landed with a thud as it's wheels made contact with the ground as it slowly rolled forward.

"Alright, lets' go. The Tokyo Tower isn't far from here." Angel said to Jackie, who revved up the APC's engine and the tank took off down the street.

Ghidorah Screamed as she tore at one of the nearby skyscrapers, tearing away entire rooms as it tried to get to the group of trapped civilians taking shelter inside. The beast had almost got to them when a loud roar howled through the streets. Ghidorah turned to be smashed in the face by a flailing tail. As the monster stumble dabout in disrientation, Godzilla let out another roar, but his war-cry was cut short when Ghidorh blasted him with an energy bolt.

Godzilla roared in pain as Ghidorah bombarded him with energy blasts until the King of Monsters stumbled backwards, collapsing onto one of the nearby buildings. Ghidorah closed in for the kill when suddenly, Mothra swooped down from above, slashing away at the three-headed dragon with spindly forelimbs.

The monster screamed in response, trying to blast Mothra out of the sky when Godzilla blasted an atomic breath, enveloping Ghidorah in fire. The beast shrugged off the attack as she charged at Godzilla, stomping his head back into the dirst again and again before he had the chance to get back up.

Meanwhile, The Anguirus quickly approached the Tokyo tower as a helicopter flew overhead, the Chinook was heading in the same direction. "Commander Storm! This is Agent Thompson, me and Serizawa got the missiles onto the Rodan, we're on our way to the rendezvous point."

"Copy that, See you there, Hunter Out" Hunter said, lowering the radio when suddenly, a stray energy blast shot through the sky, catching the Rodan's rear tail rotor and the Chinook spun violently, veering off course.

"OH GOD! WE'RE HIT WE'RE HIT!" Max screamed over the radio, his screech of terror cut off to static as the helicopter spun out of sight and crashed in one of the nearby streets. "Max? Maz? Rosa? ANYONE?!" Hunter desperately called to his teammates who went down in the Rodan.

Jackie spun the Anguirus to a halt. "Alright, we're gpoing after them. We don't leave people behind." she said, turning the APC round in the direction the helicopter went down in as the battle between the three monsters raged on...
