I smiled as I lay on the bed with my eyes closed in the wedding present of a house from my family breathing heavily. Tight arms were wrapped my waist, one hand playing with the end of my long hair, the other holding me close. My arms were wrapped equally tight around a hard body, my head pressed against it, my legs in a tangle. I looked up and I smiled widened at the sight of my husband, eyes closed as we lay there peacefully and close to sleep as we could get, his eyes tousled and messy but I liked it. I reached up to run a hand through it and as I did so his eyes opened slowly to reveal his ruby red eyes as he smiled at me, I snaked my other arm up and put them both around his neck, pulling him towards me. We kissed softly for a few minutes, lacking the passion we had had for the last two weeks though I knew it would come back when it became dark.

We had been on our honeymoon for two weeks and, though we had barely left the bedroom let alone the house, I was perfectly happy constantly floating on cloud nine. We were due home in three days and I didn't want to leave. Leave and lose all the alone time with Alec, leave the beautiful house that my family had brought and furnished for us, leave the beautiful surrounding views of vacant countryside.

Though when I say "house" I really mean "houses". The plot that they had given us consisted of a mansion with 14 bedrooms (all with a walk in wardrobe and en-suite, some have a shared sitting room while others have a private one), a large house with 7/8, 2 semi-detached cottages with 3 bedrooms and a 3 bedroom bungalow. I wasn't sure what they were thinking but it was gorgeous; each house was flint under a pan-tiled roof and surrounded by deep forest.

We were staying in the mansion for two main reasons: one because I had fallen in love with the view from the master bedroom balcony and two because it meant when didn't have to change houses after breaking a few of the beds besides this one had a library.

'What are you thinking?' Alec asked, his hand rising to cup my face.

'How we're going to have to start packing for home soon,' I sighed, leaning into his hand.

He manoeuvred us so he holding himself above, 'not too soon, we still have time.'

I laughed as he lowered his head to kiss my neck before slowly moving down to the valley between my breasts, pushing the covers down as he did so, before letting myself fall into the now familiar and irresistible pastime of Alec and our love for each other.

'I'm going to go take a shower,' I told Alec hours later.

I pressed a kiss to his lips as I rose, making sure to brush against him agonisingly and seductively since he had spent so much time teasing me. I could feel his eyes on me as I made my way to the adjoining bathroom wearing nothing. It was harsh to tease him, I knew, but so easy and fun. I didn't lock the bathroom door as I turned the shower on causing the multiple overhead showers to come on like it was raining in the large show cubicle because at that point I didn't think I would regret it, though regret may not have been the correct word but it defeated the point on my shower.

I heard the door open as I turned round to get the shampoo - showering and hair-washing wasn't necessary as a vampire unless we get muddy or something but I liked them and knowing that I was clean - but I didn't wonder, figuring Alec was getting something so when I felt the arms slip round my waist causing me to utter a slight scream of surprise and I dropped it, not even having opened it. I turned around in his arm.

'What are you doing, you crazy vampire?' I asked, reaching up to wrap my arms around him but I didn't wait for an answer as I leant up on my tiptoes and kissed him.

This was probably the answer to his question anyway as he picked my up allowing my to wrap my legs around his waist and when went for round two of that morning.

'Get up, you lazy arse,' I laughing yelled at my husband chucking a pillow at him but he caught it before it hit him and I silently cursed his vampire reflects.

'So glad I married you,' he replied and I knew he was referring to my oh-so affectionate name at the end of my statement.

I lent forward so that my face was inches from his, 'you should be.'

I kissed him sweetly before turning back to my packing since our three days had now turned to one. He appeared behind and rested his chin on my top of my head with his hands on my shoulders.

'Do we have to pack?'

'Yes,' I told him, turning around and pushing him down on top of the bed that I had just told him to get off of before crawling on top and straddling him, his hands rested on my hips and I once again leaned forward so I was close to his face. 'If we pack now, we have all day left and I'll make it worth your while - you can do anything you like to me.'

'Is my girl frisky?' he asked as I waited for him to confirm my deal, I grinned and wrinkled my nose playfully at him. 'Deal.'

'Good,' I whispered, kissing him once again before, once again, returning to my packing. 'Get started then.'

I heard him sigh heavily before jumping up at vampire speed, I laughed.

'Are you ready to go?' Alec asked having come back from putting the last suitcase in the car that was taking us to the airport where one of the guard would pick us up in the Volturi plane.

I sighed looking around, 'ready? Yes. Want to? No.'

He chuckled, 'I'm beginning to see why you spent so long out of Volterra.'

I laughed and spun to face him.

'Trust me,' I assured him with a grin. 'I didn't do any of that while I was away.'

'I should hope not,' Alec said, an amused grin spreading on his own face. 'Come on, let's go. Don't you miss your family?'

'I got the one I need right here,' I softened my grin to an adoring smile, 'and, honestly, I needed a break for all my father's excitement, Uncle Marcus' sadness and Uncle Caius' cruelty and willingness to fight.'

'I think anyone would need a break from that,' Alec assured me, knowing I felt bad for saying it. 'By the way, I meant to ask, what were you talking to your Uncle Carlisle about when he disappeared for a while.'

I smiled and glanced up at my husband, the word still sending a funny jolt through my stomach.

'Lot's of stuff,' I told him. 'He was feeling sentimental.'

'Of course he was,' Alec nodded, wrapping his arm around my shoulder as we headed toward the car, 'and I managed to say what was meant to be for him in my speech.'

'Good,' I grinned, glad that Alec understood the influence my Uncle , my favourite uncle, had on me.

'Alec! Izzy!' Jane's voice shrieked as we walked toward the plane and our heads snapped around from each other to the door hatch of the plane where the little, though she was only about an inch shorter than me making her seven inches smaller than Alec, blonde haired vampire stood.

'We should have known,' Alec leant over a muttered to me, his hand resting on the small of my back and I giggled slightly knowing he was completely right: there was no way Jane would pass up being the first one to see us.

She ran at human pace towards us, since there was some around, and threw her arms around the both of us at once.

'Hi, Janey,' I laughed, wrapping one arm around her. 'Missed you.'

Jane began to ramble as she let us go and Alec sent me an amused look as he waited for her to stop bouncing and pressed a brotherly kiss to Jane's cheek at the same time as placing a hand over her mouth.

'It's been so quiet,' he chuckled as Demetri, the one evidently flying the place, stepped out as well to join us.

'In that sense,' he muttered and I shot him a glare. 'How are Mr and Mrs Talor?'

I glanced up at Alec before grinning at his best mate, 'never better.'

Demetri chuckled and picked me up around the waist, lifting me into air as I placed my hands on his shoulders. I laughed as he spun around in a circle before placing me back on solid ground. It wasn't enough to make me dizzy so I landed perfectly on my feet and next to Jane so I got a chance to properly hug her while Demetri greeted Alec.

We entered the castle quickly with Demetri and Alec carrying our bags so Jane and I walked ahead our arms linked. It was a 2 hours and 20 minute flight and we had spent most of it with our seat belts because, vampire or not, Demetri was a dangerous flier so much so that I'm surprised anyone agreed to let him come get us and fly the plane. However, we had arrived back in one piece and I know that the first place I need to go is the throne room because my family would kill me if I didn't go see them before I unpacked.

As we walked through Isla's office, she stood up and greeted us, 'your majesty's.'

I laughed as Alec groaned, ' that's going to take some getting used to.'

'Yes, Principe Alec,' I giggled, skipping backwards but keeping hold of his hands, 'you'll get to see how annoying it is.'

'Shut up, Principessa,' he shot back, spinning my under his arm and I returned to his side still laughed.
