A/N: Lately, I've been noticing that lots and LOTS of people favorite and follow my story, but only a few people actually review. I am NOT like those spoiled authors who take their fans for granted by saying, "I will only post the next chapter if I get 10 or 15 reviews." NO! ABSOLUTELY NOT! A TRUE author writes because he/she enjoys writing, not for themselves, but for their loyal fans. On another note, I like reviews, not because they make my story more popular, but because my fans' opinions mean A LOT to me. Reviews like from Lady Syndra, Guest, DeathAngelKari, and, of course, AudreyDarke96 are my favorite reviews. In their reviews to the recent chapter they let me know their favorite parts, and that they actually thoroughly read my hard-worked chapter. So, to these and the others that reviewed THANK YOU SO MUCH!
P.S. THIS CHAPTER IS DEDICTATED TO ALL OF YOU ELF's, V.I.P's, BLACK JACK's, SONE's, AND SHAWOL's! (MY PERSONAL FAVORITES!) IF YOU KNOW K-POP, THEN YOU KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! THIS CHAPTER IS FOR YOU! ENJOY THE CLASSICS! ^_^
Disclaimer: I own nothing just my character and plot line.
K-pop!
"I can explain."
Rebekah gave me such a glare that I was quickly silenced. She then narrowed her eyes further and growled.
"Well! I'm waiting for an explanation!"
I lamely scratched the back of my head and replied.
"I ... um ... I sorta ... fell."
Her glare only seemed to intensify and she instantly screeched.
"You fell! Do you think me an idiot? What the bloody hell happened to your new dress!"
I quickly backed away and yelled out in terror.
"Kol made me cry! And ... and ... Klaus took me away and ... and ... "
Rebekah instantly sped towards me and placed her hand over my mouth. She then rolled her eyes at me and said.
"Forget it. It doesn't matter anymore."
She then slowly moved away from me and stated seriously.
"Now, I just have to think of your punishment. I believe an entire shopping week will be enough."
No! I would die within the first two hours! I instantly grabbed her hand and exclaimed.
"No, Rebekah! Please! I'll ... wash the dress by hand! I'll have slumber parties with you every single night until I leave! I'll even let you dress me up everyday! Just, please, no more shopping!"
Rebekah simply pulled her hand away from me and replied with a smile.
"You should've thought of that before being so careless with your new dress. Now, sit down so I can blow dry your hair for the party."
She was completely serious about the whole party thing. Why didn't the Originals ever listen to others? I hated parties. I had to convince Rebekah to cancel it. I wouldn't be able to live through half an hour of so many people. Therefore, I calmly sat down then said.
"Rebekah, why don't we just have another slumber party? Just you and me, huh? That's way better than ... "
"For that last bloody time ... NO! I already have everything set in motion. Everyone in town knows that we're throwing a party. We can't just cancel at the last minute."
She then plugged in the hair dryer and began to blow dry my hair. I had to convince Rebekah one way or another to cancel this thing. I hated parties. Nothing good ever came out of them. Therefore, I tried a different tactic.
"But, you're an Original. You can do whatever you want. Besides, nearly everyone in school fears you. Not only because of your strong attitude, but because you have three older brothers. If you decide to cancel no one would ever dare question you. I mean, you're Rebekah Mikaelson! If your name alone doesn't instill fear in people, I don't know what will."
Rebekah merely stared at me for several seconds then smirked at me and replied.
"Nik was right. It's always the quiet ones."
I pretended to be confused and asked.
"I'm sorry? I don't know what you mean."
Rebekah simply laughed and continued to blow dry my hair. I was about to continue to plead my case when Rebekah said.
"You use that kind and innocent face of yours as a cover up. Behind all of those smiles and kindness, there's a manipulative and cunning little witch. You knew that by saying those things there was a chance for me to actually cancel the party. You went for my pride as an Original. I have to hand it to you, you're good. To anyone that's not me and maybe Nik that would have actually worked. Unfortunately, it did not. The party is still on. Now, should I leave your hair up or down?"
I pouted then kicked the dresser and muttered.
"Dang it."
I saw Rebekah smirk at me through the mirror, but didn't comment. Why did Originals have to be so dang smart? It wasn't fair. I decided I might as well just put on my big girl pants and endure this just for tonight. Tomorrow we would begin Operation Stop A Supernatural Apocalypse. I sighed and replied.
"I prefer my hair down."
Rebekah nodded then said.
"Your hair is naturally wavy. I'm going to straighten it for tonight. I want to see what you look like with straight hair."
I shrugged and replied.
"The only other person that has ever straightened my hair is my sister. She said I looked really pretty, but I don't know. I really don't care what hair styles I use. Just as long as no one cuts it, I'm fine. A friend of mine thought he was being funny and caught off a piece of my hair two years ago. In retaliation, I broke his nose. I love my hair length, so nobody should ever cut it. Cuz I'll cut them if they do."
Rebekah stared at me for several seconds then replied with a laugh.
"I knew there was a reason I liked you. You do have a backbone. People just need to know which buttons to press in order for it to come out."
I gave Rebekah a small smile and replied.
"I told you this already, Rebekah. I am a good person ... most of the time. Although, just like everyone else, I do have a bad side. A side, that if people are smart, will greatly avoid."
Rebekah smirked at me then finished blow drying my hair and pulled out a straightener. She quickly plugged it in and turned it on so it could heat up. I remained completely still as Rebekah began to divide and pin up my hair the way she wanted it. We were then interrupted by a small knock on her door. Rebekah rolled her eyes and yelled.
"She's not ready!"
I heard a timid voice reply.
"Mr. Mikaelson told me to deliver Miss Diamond's lunch."
At that, my stomach made a small growling noise. I was really hungry. I hadn't eaten since this morning. Rebekah had dragged me around the mall for half of the day, and then I didn't even get the chance to eat anything when we went to The Grill. Rebekah simply sighed then replied.
"Come in."
The same brunette from just a while ago came inside holding a small tray with my lunch. I gave her a small smile through the mirror and she timidly returned it. Rebekah then grabbed the straightener and began to straighten my hair. She then looked over at the girl, who seemed lost as to what to do, and said.
"Well? What are you waiting for? Give her her lunch and go back downstairs."
The girl quickly jumped and hurriedly handed me the tray then took off running. I carefully placed it on my lap and began to eat my grilled-cheese sandwich. Rebekah continued to work on my hair while I ate my sandwich. I carefully grabbed my small carton of apple juice and drank it as well. Rebekah lasted at the most twenty minutes on hair until she stepped back and said with a smile.
"There. All done. Now, you just need to change, and do your make-up. Which, I will do as well."
I gave her a small nod and placed my empty tray on a nearby desk. I then slowly made my way to the bed and saw the beautiful black dress Rebekah had chosen. I carefully grabbed it and made my way towards the bathroom. I quickly removed my ruined, white, dress and cautiously slipped on the black one. Although, something seemed off about the dress, the shoulder straps kept falling off my shoulders. Every time I pulled them up they tugged tightly on my breasts. What was wrong with this thing? I sighed annoyed then yelled.
"Rebekah! I need help!"
Rebekah instantly flashed inside and said.
"What? What's the problem?"
I tugged on the shoulder straps and said.
"These keep falling down. Do you think they sold it to you like this?"
Rebekah stared at me disbelievingly for several seconds then said.
"You're kidding, right?"
I quickly shook my head and replied.
"These are annoying me. I feel all naked and stuff."
Rebekah smirked and replied.
"That's how it's supposed to be. The straps hang below the shoulders."
I froze at her blunt statement then replied worriedly.
"Ha, very funny. Seriously, are there some buttons or something that go with this?"
Rebekah merely laughed then opened the door and said.
"Hurry up, I still have to do your make-up."
She was serious! She was actually expecting me to wear this thing like this! Oh my gosh! This was so embarrassing! I remained standing in the middle of the bathroom for several seconds when Rebekah instantly yelled.
"Diamond!"
I quickly shook my head and made a mad dash back into her room. Rebekah then quickly grabbed my arm and made me stand with my back to the mirror. She quickly began working on my eyes, adding who knows what, to them. To my huge surprise, she didn't add any blush or covered my face with whatever it was girly-girls used. She focused mainly on my eyes and added a touch of red to my lips. I really wanted to see what I looked like, but Rebekah held me tightly and said.
"You can't see yourself until you are fully done. Now, go put on your heels."
Why did I have to wear heels? They hurt my feet and I could barely walk in them. Boots, I could handle. Heels, they were an entirely different story. I knew that complaining would get me no where. So, I simply nodded and moved to the bed to put on my new black heels. Rebekah had said they were Loubou ... something. I didn't know and I didn't care. Shoes were shoes. Who cared what they were named?
I slowly sat down on the bed and slipped on the heels. I then carefully stood up and asked.
"Well, Rebekah? How do I look?"
Rebekah smirked at me and replied.
"I dressed you. Of course, you look perfect."
I gave her a small smile then said.
"So, can I see myself now?"
She folded her arms across her chest and replied with a confident smirk.
"You won't even be able to recognize yourself. So, go ahead."
I gave her a nod and carefully made my way to her full-length mirror. I gasped and took a small step back at the person staring back at me. Was that really me? I slowly lifted my hand to touch my face and the person in the mirror did the same. It was me! I stared at myself in pure disbelief and remained silent. I had no idea on how to react. I was wearing a short, black, dress that fell in small layers towards the bottom, with the straps hanging tightly below my shoulders. The center of the dress was similar to that of a corset and made my chest rise slightly. My emerald eyes seemed to sparkle more prominently and my lips looked fuller and much more inviting. The heels made me appear taller, and made my legs look much more appealing. I was a completely different person. I seemed much more ... seductive.
Rebekah then moved to stand behind me and said.
"This will teach my darling older brother a lesson. Make sure to dance with as many guys as you can."
I was about to make a retort when I suddenly heard the sound of music coming from downstairs. Rebekah instantly smiled and said.
"That's the DJ. Let me just get ready and then we'll head down."
Rebekah then grabbed something from her closet and flashed behind a changing screen. I simply gave myself another once over and made my way to the bathroom to brush my teeth.
Once I stepped out of the bathroom, I noticed Rebekah had changed into a beautiful silver dress that clung tightly to her body and reached her knees. Along with it she had her hair in beautiful curls and a pair of silver heels that made her look that much more powerful. I gave Rebekah a small smile and said sincerely.
"You look very pretty, Rebekah."
Rebekah merely scoffed and replied.
"I may look, "pretty", but you look HOT. There won't be a guy that WON'T want to dance with you."
I smiled at Rebekah then replied.
"Thank you, Rebekah."
She merely waved me off then said.
"Everyone is arriving. I can hear them all downstairs."
Suddenly, she laughed and said.
"Nik isn't too happy that they're eyeing his liquor cabinet."
I gave a small smile then walked further into her room and said.
"I hope they're not dumb enough to touch his liquor. We really don't need anyone dying tonight."
Rebekah then narrowed her eyes and said seriously.
"Trust me, none of my brothers will be ruining this party. It took me a long time to find and threaten everyone that set everything up. I will personally strangle them to death if they ruin all of my hard work."
I simply shook my head and replied with a smile.
"Only you would take something so trivial, such as a party, so seriously, Rebekah."
Rebekah merely scowled then replied.
"It's not trivial. This is my first birthday party in over a century. They better no screw this up."
I smiled then said.
"So, can I go downstairs now?"
Rebekah immediately shook her head and replied.
"Of course not! The birthday girl is always late to her own party. They can wait."
I slowly shook my head and said with a smile.
"Of course, silly me."
Rebekah then gave me a firm nod and moved to her bed to re-file her nails. I simply moved to one of her armchairs and began to read a book that was laying on the desk next to it. The book really did seem rather interesting until I reached the fifth page. My face instantly became flushed a deep red and I immediately shut the book firmly shut. Rebekah looked up at me and quickly zeroed in on the book in my hand. She smirked then said tauntingly.
"What's wrong, Diamond? Did you read something you didn't like?"
I blushed even deeper then stuttered.
"Uh, no ... I just ... I just ... When can I go downstairs?"
Rebekah simply stood then sprayed some perfume on herself and replied.
"Give it ten more minutes."
I gave her a simple nod then turned to stare out her window. Wow, it was already dark outside. I could hear cars honking and the sound of many people laughing and talking. So, Rebekah hadn't been kidding when she said she invited everyone in town. I simply sighed and looked up at the moon. I gave a small smile then closed my eyes and leaned my head back against the chair. I was just about to fall into a deep slumber when I heard Rebekah screech.
"Wake up! You are not going to avoid this by sleeping!"
She then tugged me up from the chair and began straightening up my clothes and hair. I merely sighed then replied.
"I'm not avoiding anything, Rebekah."
Rebekah simply scoffed and said sarcastically.
"Right, and I bathe vervain. Come on, it's time to go downstairs."
I quickly nodded and followed her out of her room. I could hear the music getting louder as we neared the stairs. Rebekah then leaned down towards me and said.
"The birthday girl should always make a grand entrance when she appears. So, don't make a fool of yourself."
I nodded in understanding and followed her to the grand staircase. Once we arrived, I looked down and realized the party was already in full swing. The DJ was blasting some rock music and everyone was dancing and having a good time. I looked over at Rebekah and realized she seemed very proud. I gave her a a gentle smile and she smiled back then said.
"Go down first and then I'll go. Remember, make a grand entrance."
I nodded in understanding then careully took hold of the railing and slowly made my way down. As I made my way down, I noticed a few people pause to stare at me. I simply held my head high with a kind smile on my face. I was near the bottom of the staircase when suddenly a different song came through the speakers.
"Because I naughty, naughty,
Hey! I'm Mr. Simple
Because I naughty, naughty"
As soon as the sound of the music began, I did what any true ELF would do and screamed. I quickly lifted my feet then removed my heels and threw them to the side on the floor. I dashed right in the middle of the dancing teenagers and began the choreography I had practiced for nearly two years. Everyone instantly moved to make a circle around me so I could dance. The song continued.
"Sesangi nae mam daero andwindago hwaman naemyeon andwae geureol piryo eobtji"
"Geokjeongdo paljada jakeun ire neomu yeonyeonhaji malja mome jeohji anha"
I continued dancing, but sang right along with Kim Heechul's part.
"Songjeoki johattdaga nabbatdaga geureon geoji mwo-heung! shiljeoki ollatdaga
Daerojyeotda geureon daedo ittji"
I continued my favorite choreography, but was completely taken aback when a girl with red hair threw something to a guy and instantly stepped into my dance singing Donghae's part.
"Eonjeomyeon gwaenchanha swi-eo ganeun geotdo johah modeun geoshi ttae, ttae,
Ttae, ttae, ttae-ga itneun geonikka"
She seemed to know the choreography perfectly just like me. While dancing I extended my hand to her and she shook it. It was so nice to meet a fellow ELF. The song continued and we both went to dancing perfectly to the beat.
"Geudaega namja-ramyeon chingureul manna sul han jane teoreobeorigo
(Alright! ) Alright"
"Geudaega yeoja-ramyeon chingureul manna suda tteoreo nallyeobeorigo
(Alright! ) Alright, Alright"
My favorite part was coming up! I looked over at the girl and she gave me a bright smile. We then continued dancing and began to sing along.
"Bwara Mr. Simple, Simple Keuttae-neun Keuttae-neun Keuttae-ro meotjyeo
Bwara Miss-seu Simple, Simple, Keuttae-neun Keuttae-ro yeppeo (SJ Call)
Bwara Mr. Simple, Simple Keuttae-neun Keuttae-neun Keuttae-ro meotjyeo
Bwara Miss-seu Simple, SImple, Keuttae-neun Keuttae-ro yeppeo (SJ Call)"
As we were dancing to this part, I began to hear many people begin to cheer and whistle. Me and the girl then moved to stand by each other and continued to dance.
"Kaja kaja eoseo kaja Makhyeosseul ttaen doragaja geot kotchi apa
Jugettdamyeon oneul haruman nolgo boja"
"Han keurae-do geochin sesng chukeora ttwimyeon naman jicheo kidaryeobwa
Akkidwi pak neowi nari kot ultenikka"
We then parted ways and moved our feet to another one of my favorite parts and sang right along.
"Blow Your Mind!(kara Mr. Simple)
Blow Your Mind! (ttae-ga watjanha Duryeowo malgo)
Blow Your Mind! (Kaja Mr. Simple)
Blow Your Mind! (ttae-ga watjanha Junbi dwaetjanha)"
Both the girl and I moved to center then began to dance the part where Sungmin and Leeteuk sang.
"Sok sseokneun iri an doo kaji anin seseang-e urin sara keukeon ae-do ara"
"Mweo ireohke eoryeopna uri chal meokgo chal jago tto charamyeon kereohke
Hamyeon dwiji"
I then sang and danced along to Ryeowook's part while she did Eunhyuk.
"Keuttae-ga hwa-ga na-myeon chingul mannna dwitdamhwaro peureobeorigo
(Alright! ) Alright"
"Keuttae-ga kwireupda-nyeon norae borreo sori jilleo nalryeobeorigo
(Alright! ) Alright, Alright"
Once the chorus came again, to my huge amazement other girls joined into the dance. They weren't that great, but they were trying to mimic the way we leaned back and how we moved our hands. I quickly moved toward the front and acted out Heechul's part from the video and sang along.
"Bwara Mr. Simple, Simple
Keuttae-neun Keuttae-neun Keuttae-ro meotchyeo
Bwara Miss Simple, SImple,
Keuttae-neun Keuttae-ro yeppeo (SJ Call)
Bwara Mr. Simple, Simple Keuttae-neun Keuttae-neun Keuttae-ro meotchyeo
Bwara Miss Simple, Simple, Keuttae-neun Keuttae-ro yeppeo (SJ Call)"
"Dance!"
It was then that the dancing part came. Unfortunately, the DJ had omitted that part and it moved right along to Leeteuk. I wasn't complaining. I moved back towards the girl and we both led the other girls behind us on how to dance this part.
"Jaryuran-ke mwo keuri byeol geo ittna"
"Just Get It Get It"
"Sosohan iltaree jaemi
Deung deung deung keung keung keung"
"Sara-ittneun keuttael neukki-go shipna"
"Just Grab It Grab It"
"Kaseum ttwineun ne kkum-deuri aeki
Deung deung deung keung keung keung"
"(Because I Naughty, Naughty)"
It was to my huge amazement how only more and more people seemed to join in our dance. I simply laughed then continued to move my feet and dance. My fellow ELF then helped the people get in formation while I moved out of the line and sang to Kyuhyun and Yesung's parts.
"Ije keokjeong hajima ap-en choo-eun nari ulkeoya Shimgakan aekin da dwiro mirwodugo"
"Oneur-eun barke useobwa keuddae-wi hwanhan useum-e modu kibon choha-chyeo~"
I then moved back inside and to my huge amazement everyone dancing was actually stepping perfectly to the beat and were singing along to the english parts! I was so happy when I heard them dance and sing.
"Bwara Mr. Simple, Simple
Keuttae-neun Keuttae-neun Keuttae-ro meotchyeo
Bwara Miss Simple, Simple,
Keuttae-neun Keuttae-ro yeppeo (SJ Call)
Bwara Mr. Simple, Simple Keuttae-neun Keuttae-neun Keuttae-ro meotchyeo
Bwara Miss Simple, SImple, Keuttae-neun Keuttae-ro yeppeo (SJ Call)"
My fellow ELF then took the lead as we proceeded to move our hands and move to the beat. She stepped forward while I moved back and she danced and sang along to the song.
"Kaja kaja eoseo kaja
Makhyeosseul ttaen dorakaja kotchi apa chukketdamyeon oneul haruman norgo boja"
"Han keurae-do keochin sesang chukeora ttwimyeon naman jicheo kidaryeobwa akkidwi pak neowi nari kot ultenikka"
I once again played out Heechul's part and extended my hand as I moved forward and sang.
"Blow Your Mind (kara Mr. Simple)
Blow Your Mind (taega wattjanha Duryeowo malgo)"
I then twirled around and backed away then we all slowly walked forward and to my huge pleasure even the people who weren't dancing were yelling.
"Blow Your Mind (kaja Mr. Simple)
Blow Your Mind Kara Mr. Simple"
We then finished off the song with the same pose as from the video and everyone instantly erupted in cheers. Lots of guys were whistling and make loud noises. The DJ then moved away from his equipment and made his way towards me while holding a mic. Once he reached me, he yelled.
"How is that for a grand entrance! Give it up for the birthday girl, everybody!"
Everyone cheered even louder and I gave a slight blush. He then said.
"Let's hear what the guest of honor has to say everyone!"
He then gave me the mic and an encouraging smile. I hesitantly took the mic then raised it towards me and said with a smile.
"Welcome to my party everyone! I hope you all enjoyed my grand entrance!"
I heard a lot hoots and yells mainly from guys. I laughed and continued.
"I'd like to thank all of you for coming and I would also like to thank the brave girls who danced along with me while wearing their heels."
I heard several cheers to that. I smiled then yelled out.
"Now, enough talking! DJ make us dance till we drop!"
I huge wave of cheers rose at that and the DJ quickly took the mic and ran back to his equipment. Immediately, another english rock song came on and everyone started dancing again. I smiled then turned around and realized my fellow ELF was still standing by me. I gave her a bright smile and said.
"I'm so happy to know there's a fellow ELF in this town!"
She smiled back brightly and replied happily.
"I know! Me too! I thought I was the only one who liked K-pop here! My name is Rubi, by the way."
I laughed then replied.
"That's so ironic! My name's Diamond!"
She laughed as well then said.
"That's so funny! What other K-pop bands do you like?"
I smiled then replied.
"Big Bang, Shinee, and MBLAQ are some of my favorites, but Super Junior has the title to my heart. ELF for life!"
She squelead in joy and screamed.
"Me too! Those are some of my favorite as well! I also love EXO, Boyfriend, and MR. MR.!"
I nearly jumped up in happiness and said.
"Who do you like the best from Super Junior?"
At that, she blushed then looked around and whispered.
"Donghae. What about you?"
"Kim Heechul."
Was my immediate response. She blinked at me then replied with a laugh.
"Because he's cute, right?"
I shook my head and replied honestly.
"Most girls like him because of his face, but I really like his personality."
She seemed to pause for a second then replied.
"Don't you think he's a little ... I don't know."
I raised my eyebrows and replied with a smile.
"Douchey? Jerky?"
"Exactly. I mean have you seen some of his interviews?"
I quickly nodded and replied.
"I have actually. I've also seen him on game shows and some Dramas. That's why I like him. He's not afraid to show his true personality even though he's a star. He doesn't hide who he is. Some may think of him as arrogant maybe even mean, but I just see him as himself."
Rubi regarded me carefully then replied thoughtfully.
"Hm, I guess I see what you mean."
I quickly nodded and replied.
"A true ELF defends all of SJ no matter how imperfect they may be."
She quickly nodded then replied with a small smile.
"I actually just recently started getting into K-pop about a year ago. I mean I know all the members and their profiles, but I guess I still don't fully understand what being a TRUE fan is."
I gave her a small smile and replied.
"Don't worry, homegirl. Once you get into it, there's no way you're getting out. You may take a break, but deep down you'll always be a fan. See, just now what you did? You danced Mr. Simple perfectly. I really didn't expect anyone to join me."
She blushed and replied.
"Well, I've been practicing the dance for over a year now. I want to use it as an entrance dance to a prestigious private art institution. I've also been practicing several others that you mentioned."
I gave her a bright smile and replied happily.
"Really? That's amazing! You did excellent tonight. I'm sure you'll be accepted easily. Most people in America don't know K-pop that well. I mean they know Gangnam Style, but that was only because it's funny and weird to them. They aren't TRUE Psy fans. So, I bet for you to dance to something like SJ or EXO will be truly amazing for the school you want to go to."
She instantly gave me a bright smile and asked.
"You think so? Oh, I really hope you're right. Hey, do you by any chance know anymore dances? Maybe you could ... I don't know."
I smiled and replied immediately.
"I know Fantastic Baby, Falling In Love, Lucifer, I Got A Boy, This Is War, Sorry Sorry, and many others. Also, I'd be happy to teach you."
She stared at me with her mouth hanging open then said.
"You ARE a TRUE K-pop fan!"
I nodded proudly and replied.
"Of course, I am. I ... "
My sentence was interrupted by someone tapping my shoulder and saying.
"Excuse me, would you like to dance with me?"
I quickly spun around and saw an unfamiliar guy with dark hair and dazzling blue eyes standing nervously looking directly at me. I took a quick peek behind him and noticed a crowd of guys were looking in our direction in anticipation. No doubt that they had dared the poor guy to come over here. Deciding to be gentle and not embarrass him infront of his friends. I gave him a bright smile and replied.
"Of course that's fine. Just let me say bye to my friend."
He gave me a stiff nod, but didn't move. I quickly turned to Rubi and said.
"Hey, I have to ..."
"Don't worry about it. You're the birthday girl. Go have fun. I'll come by tomorrow. Is that ok?"
I bit my lip nervously then replied.
"I don't know. I mean, this isn't really my house. I would have to ask the owner."
She frowned slightly then replied.
"Oh, well, maybe I'll see you at school tomorrow. You are going to school, right? Or, did you drop out?"
"Absolutely not."
Was my quick reply. I huffed then replied.
"I would never drop out. School is much too important too me. The problem is that I am not registered yet. My ... um ... guardian won't be able to register me until I ... uh ... get a shot I'm missing and my shot record."
She quickly nodded then said.
"Do you have a cell phone? I could ... "
"My phone ... broke."
Was my short reply. Stupid Kol. She seemed at a loss as to what to say next. Therefore, I simply sighed and replied.
"How about The Grill? Everyone knows where that is. Let's say about five? That way you're already out of school."
Her face instantly lit up and she quickly replied.
"Yeah! That's perfect! We can just head over to my house from there."
I returned her smile then said.
"That's fine. It was nice meeting you."
She quickly shook my hand and replied the same. With that, she turned back around and made her way to a guy that had been watching us for quite a while. It was to my amusement, watch him hand her her purse and say something to her with a scowl. She seemed to laugh at him then gave him a quick peck on the lips. Ah, young love.
It was then that I remembered the guy that was waiting for me to dance with him. I quickly spun around and realized he seemed slightly put down. He had his hands behind him back and was aimlessly kicking imaginay dirt from the floor with his head down. I made my way towards him then touched his arm. His eyes flashed to me and he gave me a patient smile. I gave him an apologetic smile in return and said.
"I'm truly sorry for making you wait."
He sighed then replied.
"It's fine. You're the guest of honor. You're busy. I understand."
That only seemed to make me feel more guilty. I then took his hand and began to drag him to the center of the dancefloor. It was then that "Follow the Leader", by Wisin & Yandel feat J-Lo came on. I released his hand and began to dance with him whiled singing to the song. He seemed hesitant at first, but then began to move along with me. He would hold my waist on certain parts and then move to arms. He would spin me around and then we would both dance close to each other. The song ended and I gave him a bright smile. He then slowly released me and said.
"Thanks for the dance. My name is Oscar by the way."
I nodded then replied with a small smile.
"Diamond."
He slowly returned my smile and started saying.
"You seem pretty cool. Would you like to go out some time?"
"I don't think so, mate."
I quickly spun around and saw Klaus standing behind me. He casually threw his arm around my shoulders and replied.
"She's taken."
I frowned and began to protest.
"Hey, I am not... "
Klaus then squeezed my arm then pulled me closer and whispered.
"Kol is nearly here, sweet-heart. Now, unless you want your new little play-thing splattered against my very expensive rug, I would suggest you follow my lead."
At the impending threat, I quickly paled then said to Oscar.
"I ... It's true. I'm sorry, Oscar. I'm ... um ... dating his brother Kol."
Oscar seemed to pale as well then choked out.
"Kol? As in, Kol Mikaelson? Rebekah's brother? You're dating him?"
I gave him a small nod in response, and he quickly backed away from me. He paused then looked me over and said nervously.
"Again, thanks for the dance. I'll see you around ... maybe."
With that, he turned his back on me and quickly walked away. I noticed how several people were now staring at both me and Klaus. Klaus seemed to notice this as well and voiced out threateningly.
"Does there seem to be a problem?"
Several people quickly looked away while others gave him a hard stare, but looked away as well. It was then that I saw Rebekah march up to me with my heels in her hand and an angry look on her face. Once she reached us, she threw the shoes at me and I nervously caught them. I was dead. I just knew I was dead. Rebekah then placed her hands on her hips and began to tap her heels furiously against the floor. I swallowed then said for the second time.
"I can explain."
Her glare deepend. If that was even possible. She scowled at me and said in a dangerously calm voice.
"Put them on."
I quickly nodded and lifted one foot up and slipped on the heel. I then lifted the other and did the same. She lowered her arms, but continued to tap her foot against the floor. She then lowered her glare and said sweetly with a dangerous smirk.
"If you remove them again during any time tonight, I will super glue your feet into the shoe. Are we clear?"
My eyes grew wide in horror and I immediately replied.
"Crystal."
She smirked then turned around and walked away. I was literally 100% terrified of Rebekah. She was scary! Her and her fashion obsession would be the death of me. That is if Silas or some other fool didn't finish me off first.
I was brought out of my frightened thoughts by someone laughing next to me. I sighed then mumbled.
"It's not funny, Klaus. You don't know, Rebekah. She's like ... "
"Obsessed with shopping and fashion? Yes, I am very well aware. My credit card bills speak for themselves, sweet-heart."
I pouted then replied.
"Yeah, well your credit card suffers, but you don't. You don't have to walk for hours on end through a crowded place with annoying people. Besides, you actually have the priviledge to pick out your own clothing for the day. I don't."
Klaus only seemed to become more amused by my revelations. I pouted even further until a familiar song came on. I actually busted out laughing and said.
"I dedicate this song to you, Klaus."
He looked at me with raised eyebrows then paused to listen to the song and he began to laugh as well. He then shook his head and asked.
"What is the name of this song, love?"
I immediately replied without a beat.
"Troublemaker. It's by Olly Murs featuring Flo-Rida. You got to admit, it describes you perfectly. You are a troublemaker."
He smirked at me and replied arrogantly.
"And don't forget it, love."
I began to move my head from side-to-side and tap my feet to the beat. I was really getting into it, so I did the only logical thing a girl could do and began to dance with Klaus. He smirked at me and decided to dance with me as well. I sang along to the chorus while looking directly at him.
"Why does it feel so good but hurt so bad, oh oh oh?
My mind keeps saying,
"Run as fast as you can."
I say, "I'm done," but then you pull me back, oh oh oh...
I swear you're giving me a heart attack
Troublemaker"
Instead of being offended, Klaus seemed deeply amused. We continued dancing, until I noticed a pissed-off blonde looking in our direction. I quickly turned towards Klaus and whispered.
"There's an extremely ticked-off blonde looking in our direction."
Klaus looked behind me and replied with a smile.
"Hm, is she now? If I recall correctly, she said she didn't have any feelings other than hate towards me. Therefore, her anger or discomfort are irrelevant."
Klaus was seriously walking on a thin line right now. He knew what he was doing and so did I. He was pretending like he didn't care about her or her jealousy. Jealousy that was present because of me. Suddenly, that was when everything clicked into place. The shower, the phone, the rudeness, the dirty-looks. Caroline thought I was with Klaus! She thought I was sleeping with him!
Well, shoot me.
I simply sighed and continued dancing with Klaus. Hey, if she was going to be all prideful and not want to dance with him, which he was great at mind you, I sure as heck wasn't going to waste this opportunity. Finally, the song ended and Klaus released me. He smirked at me and was just about to say something when he seemingly froze. I stared at him confused until I heard a dangerously threatening voice say.
"You seem to be enjoying yourself, Nik. Mind if I cut in? Of course you don't."
With that, I was spun around and came face-to-face with Kol. I gulped and began shaking in fear. Kol simply smirked at me and pulled me against his chest. My shaking only seemed to increase as he wrapped his arms around my waist and held me tightly. I clenched my hands tightly to my side and looked over pleadingly at Klaus. He completely ignored me and stared at Kol thoughtfully. He seemed to come to a conclusion then smirked and said.
"Have fun, love."
With that, he turned his back on us and walked away. The crowd of teenagers quickly dispersing to let him pass by. I nervously looked over at Kol and said.
"Kol, I ... "
He raised a single finger to my lips and said.
"Let us not talk about past times, darling. That will only anger me and I will have to redecorate Nik's living room with all of your lovely guests."
There was the Kol Mikaelson I knew. Then it was as if something hit me. A memory of a previous conversation. I remembered my conversation with R ubi concerning Heechul, how she judged him because of his attitude and I had defended him. Wasn't Kol just like that as well? Didn't people judge him because he was 'psycho'? I had defended Kol from Rebekah and even wished him the best when I was talking to Elijah. Kol was ... Kol. So, why on earth was I pushing him away? Why wasn't I accepting him? Maybe not as a boyfriend, but just as a friend.
I then frowned and thought back on what he had said to me. I belonged to him. He was the only one allowed to touch, kiss, AND bed me. He treated me as his property rather than a person. To him, I was just his own personal slut until I went home. As these thoughts continued to spin through me head, the angrier I got. I pursed my lips together in a thin line and looked away from him. Kol seemed to notice my change in attitude and tried to make me look at him. I completely refused and that only seemed to tick him off. He then spun me around to where my back was pressed against his chest and then whispered.
"Look around, darling. The longer you continue to remain with this stubborn attitude, the quicker you are going to watch each of those bodies fall. Now, take your pick on who you wish to be first."
I could feel tears begin to form in my eyes, but I remained silent. Kol shook me and snarled.
"Pick! Or, I'll kill two at the same time!"
I furiously shook my head and pleaded.
"Please stop, Kol."
"Five, four ..."
I started shaking as I felt tears begin to fall from my eyes. I then looked up at him and said.
"Me."
Kol stopped just before he reached one and said.
"What?"
I let him see as my tears streamed down my face and whispered.
"Kill me, Kol. I ... I can't stand this anymore. No, I can't stand you anymore. No matter what I do, you still treat me bad. Just end this. Just end me. I might be delivered back home if I die here. So, just end my pain. I care about you so much, yet you treat me as if I were your dog rather than a human with feelings. You don't care about me. All you want is to use me and keep me as your current form of entertainment. I just want to go home. Bonnie and your siblings already know what to do about Silas. You don't need me. So, please just let me go."
Kol seemed frozen then he suddenly spun me around and hissed in my face.
"Never! I will never let you go! And if I have to go straight to the fiery pits of hell and kill Qetsiyah again for trying to send you back then I will! You are not leaving me! END OF DISCUSSION!"
His outburst only seemed to make me cry even more. Why couldn't he just stop? Why couldn't he seem to understand that he was hurting me? Kol completely took me off guard when he hugged me tightly against his chest and said.
"Don't cry, darling. It makes me anxious when you cry. What do you want? Do you want another doll? Oh, I know! How about I take you to see ... uh ... what was it called? A ... thera ... therapist! That's it! You wanna go see one of those doctor people?"
I shook my head against his chest and he groaned. He then lifted one hand to carress my head and said.
"What do you want, sweet-heart? Whatever it is, name it, and it's yours. Just stop crying."
I sniffed a little bit then replied.
"I want to go home."
Kol froze then replied tightly.
"That is something that I cannot grant, darling. Anything else, except that."
He then took a hold of my chin and made me stare up at him. I continued to let my tears flow and Kol was very quick to wipe them away. Suddenly, in a completely un-Kol manner, he leaned his forehead against mine and whispered.
"Darling, seeing you like this makes me want to murder everyone in sight. I know that I am the reason you are like this, but I can't help but blame everyone around me as well. I am trying very hard to console you, so you can stop. If your tears continue, I'm afraid I'll snap. Therefore, please let me take care of you. Let me make it up to you."
I stared deeply into his eyes and had no doubt he was serious. I could clearly see the dangerous and lethal Original surfacing. Therefore, I moved slightly back and gently wiped my tears away. Kol kept a firm hold on me, but did nothing else. I took several deep breaths until I was sure I was calm. Kol seemed to realize that I was getting slightly under control and he instantly smiled. He looked like he was about to say something, when a pretty, black-haired girl with dark eyes instantly stepped towards us and said to me.
"Hey, just because it's your birthday that doesn't mean you can hog him all up."
She then completely disregarded me and said to Kol.
"Kol, right? Why don't you come with me and we go have some real fun?"
I stared at the girl in absolute horror and took a step away from her. Had she really just said that? She wanted to have sex with Kol just like that at a party? Was she serious? That was ... that was ... so low of her. How embarrassing. Her mother would surely be deeply disappointed in her. How could she be so ... so ... easy? Did she have no shame? Did she have no morals? To my surprise, Kol seemed to be right along with my thoughts. Since, he scowled at her and sneered.
"Don't you ever speak to my Dia like that ever again, or I will rip out your insides and watch you slowly bleed out to death. Get lost, you harlot."
The girl stared at him with her mouth hanging open for several seconds then cleared her throat and said.
"Fine, once you bore of her come find me. I'll be around."
I watched in complete disbelief as she walked away from us and made her way to another guy. My human psychology knowledge instantly started surfacing up and my conclusions were simple; daddy issues, uncaring mother or family, and low self-esteem. It was then that my horror and slight disgust for the girl disappeared and was turned into nothing but pity. Kol didn't seem to think too much into it. Since, he scoffed and said rather loudly.
"Bloody strumpet."
I shook my head and replied calmly.
"There's more to her than that, Kol. You just don't understand."
Kol simply rolled his eyes and replied bluntly.
"Nor do I want too. I prefer pure, or modest, rather than used and wasted goods."
I raised my eyebrows at him and said challengingly.
"And how do you know I haven't been with a lot of guys? I could be just like her for all you know."
I thought for sure he would snap and begin yelling at me, but to my huge amazement he laughed. He then gently wrapped his arms around waist and pulled me towards him. He chuckled some more then replied bluntly.
"Darling, I can smell your purity from miles away. Not only that, but I saw the face you made when that harlot came up to me with her offer. Only a pure maiden would blush so deeply and have that look. I also heard part of Elijah's conversation with your mother and she insisted that your honor be protected at all times. I do not need to be a witch to know that you are untouched."
I was blushing so deeply that anyone would think I had a fever. He could smell me? What the heck was that supposed to mean? I was then brought out of my thoughts by the sound of a guy yelling.
"Hey! Look what I found!"
To my horror, he was holding Chucky up by the neck and waving him around. I heard another guy laugh then yell.
"Let's see if the Chuckster can handle a game of football!"
Absolutely NOT! Due to some miracle, or maybe it was just my anger, I pulled myself away from Kol and ran towards the guy holding Chucky. I pushed several people out of my way and screamed at the guy.
"Hey, you! Give him back to me, right now!"
It seemed like he couldn't hear me over the loud music. Since, he placed Chucky under his arm and moved to walk out the door.
That was it! That was the last bloody freaking straw! Super glue be damned!
I kicked my heels off and ran faster towards the guy until I caught up to him. I grabbed his arm and said with a huff.
"That doll is mine. Give him back."
The guy simply scoffed and replied.
"I don't see your name on it."
He did not just call Chucky an 'it'! I glared at the guy then clenched his arm tighter and threatened.
"I'm not gonna tell you again. Give him back to me, or else."
He laughed then pulled away from me and replied arrogantly.
"Or else, what?"
It was then that I heard a threatening voice reply.
"Or else your head will become the football. Give her the doll, and I'll let you live."
The guy then looked to the side and began saying.
"And just who the hell do you think ..."
He froze mid-sentence then said uneasily.
"You're Rebekah's brother, Kol. You're the one that ... "
The guy seemed to turn slightly green and Kol smirked at that. He then casually wrapped his arms around me from behind and said threateningly.
"I'm not going to repeat myself. You have until the count of three. O ... "
The guy didn't even let Kol get to one before he shoved Chucky into my hands and took off running. Well that was certainly less violent than what I anticipated. I clutched Chucky tightly to my chest then pulled him back to inspect his neck. Stupid douche. How dare he hold Chucky like that? I was brought out of my angry thoughts by Kol saying.
"That was very good, darling. I like how you held your own against him. I wonder what you would have done had I not intervened."
I replied immediately without a pause.
"I would have kicked him where it hurts and snatched Chucky away."
Kol smirked then asked.
"And when he's down?"
"I would have continued kicking him."
Kol actually started laughing then kissed my cheek and said.
"Ah, I really do know how to pick them."
I ignored that comment and simply held Chucky tightly against my chest. Kol then placed his chin on my shoulder and said.
"I'm bored."
Uh, oh! Not good! Not good! A bored Kol Mikaelson was never a good thing. I had to distract him, but how? Suddenly, I remembered Kol had said he would make it up to me for making me cry. So, I timidly looked back at him and said.
"Kol you said you would make it up to me for making me cry. Threatening that guy doesn't count."
Kol laughed against my neck and replied.
"I'm aware it does not. Come with me to my room and I'll show you how I will make it up to you."
My arms around Chucky tightened and I clenched my jaw tightly in anger. How dare he! I took several deep breaths then replied angrily.
"How stupid of me to think you were actually being serious. Of course, that's the only thing you want from me. I'm a maiden. I'm pure. You simply can't let me slip from your perverted Original fingers."
Kol seemed to have frozen from my words. I quickly turned around to face him and said with a new set of tears forming in my eyes.
"You know what, Kol? As soon as Bonnie and I get rid of Silas, I'm going to find a way to go back home. And when I get there, I will forget you. I will forget about the guy who only played nice to me, just so he could get in my pants. I will never spare you a second thought. You don't deserve my loyalty much less my tears. All you've done since I've arrived is make me cry. Tomorrow, I'm going to get everything ready to get rid of Silas. Because the sooner he is taken care of, the sooner I will go home. Take your hands off of me and don't speak to me again. I'm done with you, Kol."
I turned to walk away when Kol quickly spun me back and threw me over his shoulder. I screamed rather loudly and began pounding on his back with tears streaming down my face. I then proceeded to start yelling at him in all of the different languages I knew, which were, English, Spanish, French, Korean, and Japanese. Kol either didn't understand what I was saying or simply didn't care. I was going for the not caring. Since, he completely ignored me and simply continued to walk with me up the stairs.
I continued yelling at him and hitting him with Chucky over the head. It was when we reached the top of the stairs that I heard Elijah say strictly.
"Kol, place her down."
Kol gave him no reply in return, and simply walked past him. As we passed by him, I gave Elijah a pleading look. Elijah seemed really shocked that Kol had casually disregarded him. He shook his head then flashed infront of Kol, and said.
"Kol, release her at once."
It became eerily silent then Kol replied coldly.
"Fine."
He then slowly placed me down then looked over at Elijah and said.
"Happy now?"
Elijah simply sighed and replied.
"Marginally. Kol, what seems to be ... "
To my absolute shock and horror Kol lunged at Elijah and quickly snapped his neck. I watched as Elijah fell to the floor and didn't move. I instantly backed away and screamed.
"Elijah!"
Kol then turned towards me and flashed to my side. He quickly threw me over his shoulder again and said angrily to Elijah's lifeless body.
"Stay out of my life, Elijah. You're not my father."
I immediately began my round of yelling and hitting him over the head even harder. During one particular hit, Kol caught Chucky and snatched him away from me. He then held him by the leg upside down and said threateningly.
"Your stupid doll will meet my fireplace if you continue hitting me. So, I would suggest you stop at once."
I completely ignored his threat and yelled.
"Give him back! Don't hold him like that!"
I heard him snort then give him back to me. I quickly hugged Chucky and was just about to start my yelling when Kol quickly opened his door and stepped inside his room. He then placed me down and I immediately made a run for it, but he caught me around the waist and spun me around. He then picked me up and threw me on his bed.
My mind instantly started racing, coming up with several unpleasant scenarios. I backed up further into the bed and clutched Chucky tightly to my chest. I could feel streams of tears falling from my eyes and I quickly pleaded.
"Kol, please don't do this. Please don't hurt me."
Kol simply gave me a hard stare then moved to one of his drawers. He grabbed what appeared to be a small box and made his way towards me. I started crying even harder and made a move to run again. Kol was obviously faster and was instantly on the bed holding me down. I continued crying and started yelling.
"Please, Kol! Please, don't do this to me!"
Kol stared at me for several long seconds then gave me a small smile and replied.
"I may be a monster, Diamond, but I would never take advantage of you. Rape is something that I have slaughtered thousands for. No man should ever violate a woman in such a repulsive manner. Now, calm down, and let me show you your gift."
I stared at him in disbelief then asked in between sniffles.
"You got me a gift?"
He nodded then smirked and handed me the small white box. I cautiously took it then opened it to see my gift. My breath caught in my throat at the beautiful golden necklace inside it. It was of medium size and had a beautiful golden 'K' layered with diamonds over it. I gently pulled it out and said.
"Kol, you shouldn't ... "
Kol simply moved to sit next to me and wrapped one arm around my shoulder then said.
"I wanted to and I did. You're special, darling. I want you, and I want eveyone to know that you are mine. During this time we've been apart, I've been thinking and I realized you made very valid points. I wasn't treating you like my lover. I was treating you as if you were my property. You have to understand that is simply who I am. I do not trust anyone. I just need you to be patient with me and try not to make me angry. As you may already know, I am the most dangerous out of all my siblings. I snap easily and I don't regret anything I do. I want you, not just your body. Hell, I'll even stop forcing you to sit on my lap and I'll stop touching you so much. All I need is for you to say that you'll stay with me. Give me time. That's all I need."
It didn't escape my notice how he said he wanted me to stay with him. Now that I thought about it during our first arguement Kol had said, "You are not leaving me!" For some strange reason, Kol didn't want me to leave him. He needed me. He needed me to be there for him. Therefore, I sighed then said sincerely.
"Ok, Kol, we are going to give this a shot. I'm trusting you, so please don't disappoint me."
Kol smiled and instantly replied.
"I'll change, darling."
I immediately shook my head and replied.
"No, Kol. Absolutely no. I don't want you to change who you are or what you do. I just want you to be more careful and understanding with me. What you do that doesn't involve me is none of my business. Be you. That's why I liked you so much in the first place."
Kol stared at me for several seconds then smiled and nodded in understanding. He then layed us both back against his bed and leaned his head against my chest. He wrapped his arms around me and slowly closed his eyes. I gave him a gentle smile then began to smoothly carress his hair. I liked this Kol. So free of anger and loneliness. I gently played with his hair then said.
"Kol, you'll need to apologize to Elijah. What you did wasn't ok."
Kol shrugged and replied casually.
"He deserved it. He tries to act as if he were my father just because he's older. I'm not apologizing."
I simply sighed, but didn't reply. It was then that Kol's door wasn't instantly kicked open and I saw Rebekah standing there with a glare on her face. Once she saw our position, she froze and stared at us in disbelief. For the third and probably final time that night, I said weakly.
"I can explain."
