~Rin's POV~

I woke up feeling sick. The pain was much worse. I slowly sat up, my eyes taking longer than usual to adjust to the light. My body begged for me to lie down, but I forced myself upwards and to my feet. Once my feet hit the floor, a huge wave of dizziness hit me. After this passed, I looked at the clock.

4:30, so everyone would be asleep and I could enjoy myself for a while.

There wasn't enough to time to really do anything in the room, though, so maybe I could cut myself a little. I would also be able to check the progress in the mirror.

I climbed out of bed and tiptoed across the room, another wave of dizziness hitting me. I shut the door quietly behind me, to hear snoring behind the other doors.

'Oh, right…' I thought to myself. 'They were also here last night… I wonder why? They don't particularly like me…' I sighed inwardly, tiptoeing into the bathroom. I walked to the 6th one from the door I had entered in and bent down so I looked underneath it. This sink in particular was broken, but no one had really bothered to fix it, since there were several sinks in the entire building. I put my hand on the pipe and ran it across the length of it, finding the crack I was looking for. I pushed my index and third finger as far into the cracks as I could, and pulled out a long, thin razor.

I stood up straight and stared into the mirror. The cracks traveled under my shirt. On my arms, it was almost to my elbows. I pulled up my shirt and looked for the end. They ended at the bottom of my ribcage.

'No wonder I can't hold anything down,' I thought to myself. I sighed, staring at my own eyes. There were red lines intertwining in and out of the cracks. In one, out the other, all over, like a spider web, they went. It was only up to my shoulders.

"This is really going to happen…" I mumbled, staring at my reflection. Just thinking about it made me sick in my stomach. "Good thing I didn't eat yet…" I thought to myself.

I pulled down my shirt and pulled up one of my sleeves, drawing a thin horizontal line about 2 inches long. I made two more identical ones underneath it, crossing over the cracks as if they were paint. But they weren't.

The pain didn't stop, but the physical pain helped distract me from it.

I put the razor back into the hiding place and pulled my sleeve down. I had barely broken the skin, so it only bled out of a few spots. My hand had been shaking slightly, so it only pierced the third layer in a few spots. I knew that they wouldn't help much, but they wouldn't be seen. I walked into the kitchen and stared around it.

"If I eat something, I'll just throw up…" I mumbled under my breath, my stomach growling loudly, which made me feel worse.

I sighed, deciding to drink water, as I would just throw up, well, water, if I did.

I quickly downed a bottle of water, my body still begging for food. I stared at the bottle of water, before downing another, and another. I stared at the rack. I knew I was only drinking this much because my body wanted something to fill me up, but it was water, so I couldn't live off of just that.

I sighed, downing one last one, feeling only slightly better, only to feel sick and to throw up water in the sink.

I felt miserably hungry, and the hunger was making me weak, and the weakness was making me dizzy and overly sensitive.

Even now, the cold floor felt freezing against my oversensitive floor, and I absentmindedly shivered.

I checked the time.

It was 5:00, so nobody would be awake at this time, but if I started something now, I wouldn't finish in time, and I really didn't feel like playing a song. I felt like making something, like a clay pot or carve something into or out of wood, but that would take a lot of time.

I sighed, unsure of what to do, when a voice snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Nii-Chan?" A familiar voice said being me. I turned around to see Yukio with his pistols. Once he overcame his shock, he became angry.

"Why did you wake me up?"

"If I did, I didn't mean to…" I mumbled, rubbing my head slightly.

"Really? It sounded like a choked scream…" He mumbled. "Like someone threw up."

"Really? I didn't hear anything like that." I mumbled, rubbing the side of my head, pretending to think, wiping the last of the thrown-up water on my lip. The color was slightly stained, and I positioned myself in front of the sink, waving my other hand behind me, looking for the faucet.

"Nii-Chan, what are you doing?" He attempted to look behind me.

"Umm, I'm just gonna wash my hands…" I looked at the ceiling, wondering how pale I looked right now.

"Nii-Chan, let me see." He pushed me aside, 'Wow, how weak is this making me?' and looked into the sink and saw the stained liquid, before slowly turning up to look at me. I had gotten to the doorway of the kitchen itself before he did so.

"Is this why you haven't been eating?" He mumbled quietly. "You haven't been able to keep anything down?"

I sighed in defeat, nodding.

He didn't seem sure how to answer, and just looked down for a moment.

"It's just a stomachache, I'm sure it'll pass." I quickly added.

"Are you sure, Nii-Chan? I'm could check you, just in case."

"No, it's fine. I was going to get a pill, actually. That's why I came down here."

"But why so early?"

"I happened to wake up."

He sighed before looking at me. "Nii-Chan, I was awake when you were 'apologizing' for being a disappointment." He had mumbled it.

I froze up, my eyes locking with is. "You… You heard that?" I whispered, staring at him. I could feel my eyes widen.

He just walked over to me and hugged me. "Nii-Chan, I know you can do better, but you're not a disappointment." He whispered in my ear. "Come on, let's go to sleep, and in the morning, I can try and find out why your stomach hurts." He put his pistols on his belt and pulled me along to the bedroom with him. "Just try to get some rest, okay?" He said after making sure I was in the bed and everything.

"Alright, moley four-eyes." I faked a grin, hoping it was believable.

Apparently, it was, since he smiled back at me and got in his own bed. "See you in the morning, Nii-Chan."

"You too, moley four-eyes."

I remember staring at the wall for a while before blacking out.
