Chapter 3

It has been five months since Blaise had proposed to Hermione. Five months since Draco had embarrassingly fainted into Ginny's arms. He wasn't accustomed to be in a woman's arms since his mother had last hugged him. It felt weird, to be in her arms.

A month later was Draco's birthday and Blaise had organized a surprise party for him. So after Draco came home from training with the lads, he was welcomed by a throng of people. Ginny was one of them. Draco had warmed to Hermione. She was like the sister he never had. If anything goes wrong and Blaise wasn't there, he always will be at Hermione's doorstep in a split second, knocking on her front door. Hermione had let him have that privilege.

One the bright side, Puddlemere United was winning more and more games after the fantastic match with the Montrose Magpies. Draco finally got to purchase a brilliant Chaser, in the name of Danny Cross, who was bought from the Hamilton Flyers from the Second Division. The Hamilton Flyers got promoted to the next season of the BIQL. Puddlemere United won their 23rd Quidditch League Title.

Draco spends his time with Blaise mostly. And with Blaise, comes Hermione, so surely, Ginny is always there too. He doesn't really like spending time with the Weaslette, but now that his friend's engaged, he tries his best not to pick fights with the red head as he's not keen on going to Mars.

Sometimes, Blaise and Hermione don't turn up to their get together. Instead, it'd just be Draco and Ginny but they like spending time with each other. Of course, there's always the occasional banter, followed by fights. However, they learned to miss each other. They'd love to fight until the whole world collapses but if they don't see each other for a few days, they get worried. And then Draco would drop by the girls' apartment and check on her. Ginny, however, would not go until that extend, but she'd definitely ask Blaise if anything's wrong. One certain occasion, Ginny had a fever, and Draco wouldn't leave her side until she got better. Hermione almost burst out in tears as she saw the scene unfold.

Ginny coughed, and then snuggled into her pile of blankets. The night before, she had been at a friend's birthday party, and somehow, she had gotten a cold. To make matters worse, it was a rainy day in autumn, making Ginny stay in and have a bed rest. Hermione had cancelled their weekly get together, even though Ginny insisted that she go without her. Hermione refused, stating that she needed to take care of Ginny and she couldn't have fun when she knew her best friend was ill. So they both stayed in together. They just talked and talked as Hermione placed cold compresses on her forehead.

Suddenly, the doorbell rang and Hermione quickly got up to go check on it. Ginny took a sip of her green tea and grimaced. She never liked the taste but Hermione had forced her to drink it. She had just set it aside when a male voice scared her to oblivion.

"Weasley! How could you be so careless?" Draco yelled, sitting down on the spot recently vacated by Hermione. Ginny stared at him, an unreadable expression on her face. "What did you do to get so sick?" He asked, looking concerned at her. Ginny pulled up her blankets above her head.

"Go away, Malfoy." She groaned, hiding her face.

"Weasley," He groaned, "Please answer me! Do you have any idea how worried I was when Hermione said you're sick?"

"I don't Malfoy. And I have no death wish to know how worried you are. Probably when Hermione becomes stupid and speechless you'll worry about me. You're here to tell me you're happy I got a fever, don't you?"

"Ginevra." He said, placing a hand on her shoulder and she shivered, not because of the fever. He slowly peeled the blanket away from her and set his eyes on her face. "Look at me when I talk." He said, and she obeyed, not knowing why. And just like that, they talked, how Hermione and she had talked minutes ago. Draco held one of Ginny's hands in his and he played with her fingers. And they were laughing about something. Just the two of them. The sound shattering glass was what brought them back to reality. Hermione had dropped a glass meant for Draco but she quickly apologized and cleaned up the mess. Draco had noticed the moisture in her eyes but didn't say anything. The rest of the day was pretty much like that.

Draco knocked on Hermione's door, shoving his hands into his jeans pockets. Recently, Blaise made Hermione take Draco to go shopping in the Muggle world, getting him all those Muggle things he never dreamed he would own. It was actually a surprise, waking up to Blaise screaming his name and going out without having breakfast. One thing for sure; Draco loved Muggle food. He also immediately got hooked with the Muggle brand polo. Not to mention the aviators and the black letterman jacket.

Draco frowned. No one opened the door yet. Then again, Hermione had said the doors are always open for him so he just shrugged and twisted the knob. The lock clicked and he found himself inside Hermione's inviting home. The apartment was silent, making him wonder where the girls were. They probably left, he thought but he saw Ginny's flats by the front door meaning that she was still here. He decided he would check the rooms before heading out.

He went to the kitchen first but of course, no one was there as it was past lunch. The kitchen was spotless, the shiny surface of the counters gleaming. Draco turned to open another door and was met with shelves filled with books. Must be the private library. Hermione did mention that once, he thought. The next room was something that looked like it came out of a hotel room. Plush chair, perfectly made bed, pillows plumped up. This had to be Hermione's room. No one else can keep their room cleaner.

"I wonder what Ginevra's will look like. Probably straight out of a rabbit hole." He muttered opening the next door. The sight that met him made his heart thumping and got his blood rushing to his face. Ginny Weasley was standing three feet away, naked, staring at him as if he'd grown another head and Draco's eyes couldn't help but drink in the sight of her. She was so beautiful, he thought but shook his head in disbelief and broke the silence between them.

"Eh, Ginevra, I'll wait outside." He said sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. He glanced at her face once more and opened his mouth to speak when he found himself looking at her body again. He quickly closed his mouth and shut the door on his way out. He sat on the comfortable sofa and waited.

She came out minutes later, fully dressed and had her air in a low ponytail.

"Malfoy, let's go." She said quietly, not trusting her own voice.

"I'm sorry, Ginevra. I didn't quite catch it." He said, turning his head to look at her, the blush still evident on his face. His gaze was directed on her face, his grey eyes burning into hers.

"I- I said we- we can go." She stuttered, struggling to sound firm. When she thought of confronting him, she convinced herself to speak normally. But once she saw his eyes, all words of her own encouragement flew from her mind.

"Yeah, okay. I'll Apparate now, then you put up you wards and leave as well. I'll meet you at the Leaky Cauldron." He said and Apparated. Ginny sighed in relief, taking her own sweet time, downing a glass of champagne to keep her head light and Apparated as well after putting up the wards.

*TTW*

Draco appeared in the entrance of the Leaky Cauldron. To most people, if they saw him it would've looked like the work of the devil. But the witches and wizards that passed by didn't even glance at his presence. He leaned against the wall, refusing to go inside without Ginny. He took out a cigarette from his pocket and lit it up, using his lighter before taking a drag. This was his only Muggle habit and also the one thing that he didn't want people to know about.

He started smoking since his replacement year. It seemed to get him relaxed and he forgets about everything for a moment. His father didn't want him to go back to Hogwarts. He wanted him to stay and take care of family business.

"Family business?" He had scoffed. "I'd rather marry a Weasley than take care of family business." That had rather came out wrong. He didn't mean the Weasley part but his intentions were clear, to him anyway, he wanted to stand on his own feet.

"Then you can go to the Weasleys when you don't have money anymore!" His father practically yelled, shutting the door in his face. It has been three years since he spoke properly to him. But Draco knew that was bound to happen, his father refusing to help him financially in any way. So during his summer before Hogwarts, he started writing articles for the Prophet under the pseudonym of Andrew Percy. The Wizarding World didn't need to know that Draco Malfoy was working for the Prophet. It was mostly related to Potions and the Dark Arts and occasionally about magical creatures. Draco was all about the education and knowledge.

Though, that wasn't enough. Halfway through the first semester, Draco had this sudden interest in mechanics, where he started designing brooms on his own. Draco had his privacy as all the seventh years in his dorm come in late after curfew with drooping eyes and wake up just before class as well so Draco had a lot of time in his hands. He liked to be early, even though it deprives him of his sleep. In case anyone finds him doing those things, he quickly takes his things to the Astronomy Tower, where he has installed a secret cache.

His first broom didn't make the market, however, his sixth one got approval from the Sports Department but he was only able to sell the broom if he gave the blueprints to the Nimbus Racing Broom Company. Desperate for money as his school years were about to end, Draco gave away the blueprints, earning a five percent for each broom sold. He had named it simply, the Arrow. Then came more ideas for new brooms and eventually he got chosen as the new manager of Puddlemere United when their previous one got sacked for getting them relegated.

Looking back now, Draco realised he made a lot of wrong choices but what he appreciated was that those wrong choices gave him the life he had now. He'd still rather sell brooms than manage his father's company.

*TTW*

He dropped his almost finished cigarette to the ground and smashed it under his shoe. He heard a slight pop from the inside of the shop and figured it was probably Ginny. He didn't want her to find him smoking. Heck, he didn't want anyone to know he's smoking. That was his dirty little secret. The one thing he won't let anyone know.

He made his way into the Leaky Cauldron, immediately spotting Ginny's unmistakable ginger hair. He went over to her, and poked her shoulder, grabbing he attention. She spun around, smacking Draco with her long hair again. He winced and rubbed his jaw, where it hurt the most.

"Merlin, Weasley, you should control that wild mane of yours. It probably has a mind of its own, going and smacking people about." He said, glaring down at her. He was a good feet taller than her, standing at a height of 6'3".

"Maybe it does! But I'm glad it smacks people like you." She said, standing on her toes, to stare him better in the eyes.

"Watch your mouth, Weasley." He said, getting annoyed of her tone. His face was so close to her, she couldn't breathe. "Don't get it broken before you do amazing stuff with it." Ginny took a step back speechless but understanding the comment. Before she regained her composure, Draco had her by the entrance of Diagon Alley with a tug of her hand. He quickly tapped on the specific brick with his wand and the bricks moved away, forming the entrance. They quickly stepped in, and the entrance resealed itself behind them.

"Do you know the drill?" He asked her, pushing her to sidewalk to make way for other people.

"Repeat it to me again. I don't remember you telling me this. Or Hermione." She said, crossing her arms.

Draco sighed, "Okay, you and Hermione are gonna go get the wedding dress and dresses for all the other important people while I go with Blaise for his suit. Then we exchange, you go with Blaise to Terror Tours and I'll go with Hermione. After that we meet at the ice cream parlour. You got it?" He asked, shoving a hand into his letterman's pocket.

Ginny nodded, just noticing his choice of attire. She didn't know he wore Muggle clothing but she wanted to let the issue pass for now. She thought she'd ask him about it later, but her lousy mouth just blurted it out.

"I thought you hate Muggles." She said, but quickly clamped a hand over it, scared that he'd do something to it. His earlier warning about breaking her mouth came into her mind and she cringed, then made a disgusted face, remembering his suggestions on using her mouth.

"If I hate Muggles, would I be friends with Hermione now?" He asked, his lips contorting into a true smile. Draco hardly smiled like that.

"You called her Hermione." She stated, dropping her hands to her sides.

"Yeah, I just did, Weasley. What's wrong with that?" He asked, confusion evident in his face.

"You don't call her Hermione. You never call her Hermione. You have to call her Granger!" She said, squeezing his arm.

Draco raised his eyebrows. "I call her what I wish to call her, Weasley. Now let go of my hand." He said, getting out of Ginny's grasp and shoving both his hands in his pockets.

"The least you could do is call me Ginny!" She yelled after him but ran to catch up when he didn't answer back. "Don't leave me hanging, Malfoy."

"When you call me Malfoy, why can't I call you Weasley?"

"I suppose that's fair." She muttered, wrapping her arms around herself. Despite wearing warm clothing, the chill managed to penetrate her skin. She shivered and felt something warm being placed on her. She looked up and found that Draco had took of his letterman and had put it around her shoulders. She quickly shoved her hands in and accepted the warmth. But before she could thank Draco, who was just in a long-sleeved t-shirt, Blaise and Hermione came over to them. Perfect timing, every time. She thought, when she realised this wasn't the first time the two of them got interrupted. She turned to look at Draco, hoping he was looking at her, but he refused to meet her eyes.

Ginny wasn't aware being dragged away by Hermione. She wasn't aware when she stepped into Madam Malkin's. She wasn't aware of Hermione talking to her until a dress was shoved directly into her face. She was thinking of what Draco had just done. He helped her get warm by sacrificing his. But then again, he could just get a new jacket. But her instincts told her he was just going to hang in his t-shirt all day. Why was she thinking nicely of him? Hadn't he just threatened her in the Leaky Cauldron?

"Ginny! Green or blue for the bridesmaid?" Hermione asked, shaking her shoulder. Ginny just pointed to the green one, having only decided on the colour. She didn't bother how it looked or anything. She sighed. She was going to be thinking about this all day.

*TTW*

They changed pairs at Madam Malkin's, with Hermione refusing to show Blaise her wedding dress. Draco went with Hermione to Flourish and Blotts while Ginny and Blaise went to Terror Tours. Blaise wanted to take Ginny there and give her the job of finding them a nice place to go for their honeymoon. Terror Tours were known for their thrilling tours and amazing sense of humour.

"Hey, Blaise! Where do you exactly wanna go?" Ginny asked, leafing through a magazine on the different tours organized by Terror Tours.

"I don't know. I don't want to go on a private trip. The ones with the groups are okay. Something romantic like a tour to Paris?" He suggested, leaning across the coffee table to look at the current page Ginny was on. Ginny quickly changed the page. It was one with real vampire guides located on Romania.

"Hermione's been to Paris more times than you have been to Malfoy Manor. Maybe somewhere she's never been, like New Zealand, or maybe Sweden, but it's awfully cold there. How about the Caribbean? She can teach you how to swim." Ginny said, turning another page.

"Trust me, when I say water and I don't get along, you don't suggest that kind of things to Hermione. Once she's determined, she won't stop till she gets it. If you don't trust me then you can ask Draco, he has a whole book worth of stuff to tell about me plus water." Blaise said, smiling cheekily. Ginny laughed, hitting him lightly on the arm.

"I'm sure Hermione can fix that. Once she's determined, she won't stop till she gets it. Your words, not mine."

"Well, I suppose I can try for Hermione's sake. But if she fails, then I'm gonna blame you saying that you suggested it."

"Say what you want. I'm a darling for Hermione." Ginny said, her eyes lighting up in glee.

"Finally, I thought your eyes died for a moment there."

"Why, what's wrong?" She asked, rubbing her eyes.

"Your eyes only just lit up, since you left Madam Malkin's." He stated.

"I was thinking." She said, avoiding his gaze.

"About what?" He asked, and then added, "You can tell me. I won't tell anyone." When he saw her discomfort.

"Your best friend gave his jacket to me." She said, hugging the jacket closer unconsciously.

"No wonder it looks four sizes too big." He chuckled, earning a glare from Ginny.

"Blaise, I'm confused, one moment he was threatening me, then other he refuses to talk properly to me. Then he gives me his jacket, acting all gentlemanly. He's literally making my brain run in a maze. I'm confused as hell." She said, burying her face in her hands. Blaise stood up and moved to sit next to her. He laid a hand on her shoulder.

"He's like that. Bipolar as how Hermione put it. But I don't care what the Muggles say. All I know is that my best friend is confused and he doesn't want to confide in me. That's how confused people act. They behave one way and then change their personality according to their facade."

"I'm confused too! Remember the time I just despised him? Now I want to tear his head away but I also want to hug him. I hate to admit it but I think I'm starting to like him. I like it when he's around. It feels weird when he's not because it's like he's already a part of my life. And this morning he saw-" She closed her mouth

"Saw what? What are you telling? What did Draco see?"

"Nothing." Ginny muttered. She blushed bright red, imagining Draco's burning gaze on her body again even though he wasn't there.

"Well, it's just a phase Ginny, you'll get over it if it's just an attraction."

"I don't think I can."

*TTW*

Draco and Hermione shared a passion for books together. While Blaise and Ginny went to Terror Tours to find a good place for their honeymoon, Draco took Hermione to Flourish and Blotts to get her some books as an apology for making her life hell in their first years.

"You sure love to study History." Draco exclaimed, nodding at the pile of History books in her arms. "Here, let me help you." He said, taking the books from her. Hermione smiled in gratitude. "You go get more books, I'll just leave this at the counter." He said.

"What about you? Don't you want any books?" Hermione asked.

"I do, but it's not the kind you'd like to have me reading." He said, smiling down at her. Heck, he was taller than everyone. He liked talking to people who are as tall as him. That means Fred Weasley.

"What's worse than a girl finding a guy reading explicit content on people's sex lives?" Hermione asked and then her eyes widened. "Oh my God, is that what you're gonna get?"

"No, Sweet Merlin. I was gonna get stuff on Dark Arts but since you suggested it..." He trailed off. Hermione laughed, throwing her head back.

"I ought to tell Ginny. She's gonna flip."

"Why would she 'flip'? It's not like she cares about me reading that kind of stuff. Oh, wait. You're telling me she does?" He asked, raising his eyebrow.

"Well," Hermione swallowed, hard. "She's been acting odd lately. She gets angry when I say something about you. Especially something bad..."

"Hmm, I'll ask her about it." Draco said.

"You think she's gonna tell the truth?" Hermione asked.

"I have my ways."

"Is one of the way related to some certain reading material you were gonna get?" She asked.

"Maybe."

Hermione laughed. "Okay. Well, I'm gonna get some books. You get some other stuff too okay?"

"Yeah, sure." Draco said, placing his cold hands in his pockets. He regretted giving Ginny his jacket but he'd rather not see her falling sick. When did he start caring about her? Draco shook his head, and went to the top level, where they kept the Ancient scripts and Dark Arts books. He grabbed a couple of the former and a few of the latter and went to place them on the counter. He waited for Hermione and she came after a few minutes. They paid for the books and Draco shrunk them, placing Hermione's in her purse and his in his pockets. They'll survive in there, he thought. His books normally don't get crumpled in his pocket.

*TTW*

Ginny and Blaise went over to Florean Fortescue's, waiting for Draco and Hermione. They both decided to wait outside for them. Next to Florean's, the WWW was filled with customers. And then Ginny saw Draco, coming towards them. He looked so hot then, his shirt clung to his body like second skin with snow on his platinum hair. His cheeks were tinged pink and his grey eyes were looking right at them. Immediately, the scene this morning replayed in her head. But instead of her, it was Draco who was naked and she imagined herself running her hands down his abs. She felt Blaise nudge her shoulder and she snapped out of her daydream.

"Wipe your mouth, Ginny; you were drooling." Blaise said, pointing to the corner of her mouth.

"What?" She asked, wiping her mouth anyway.

"You were checking him out, weren't you?" He asked, smirking down at her.

"Not my fault he's hot." She said, and realised he was just a few feet away now and blushed. She wondered how much he had heard. Probably all of it, judging from the smirk on his face, she thought.

"What do I hear about a hot guy, huh?" Draco asked, coming over to where Ginny leaned against the wall along with Blaise.

"Just my brother next door." She said, smiling innocently.

"Sure. Whatever that gets you to sleep at night." He said, and leaned on the wall next to her, hands in his pockets. Ginny huffed, crossing her arms as she was squished between to egotistical bastards. Hermione came minutes later, smiling at the trio of them. They then went in an ordered their favourite ice creams and sat at a booth by the window. They talked about the wedding and the preparations as it was only a month away now. Finally, when their ice creams came, they sat in silence and enjoyed their ice cream. Ginny was pressed against the window by Draco who took more than half of the booth. She didn't really mind though. He radiated warmth and she savoured it. She gets cold fast and she gets colder than most people. Ironically, her favourite season was winter. Blaise and Hermione had gone to the counter to order more ice cream. She felt a presence by her ear and nearly jumped when she felt Draco's cool lips.

"I'm gonna head out, if that's okay with you." He whispered. She nodded, not trusting herself to speak. Having him in close proximity got her heart beating wildly. "Meet me next door when you're done. Take your time." He said and left without a word more. He quickly shoved his hands into his pockets. Without his jacket, he might as well put a sign up for the cold; "Come N Get Me." He walked out of Florean's and was about to go into the shop on the right when he heard the WWW's doorbell ring. He turned to his left to see two boys about three quarter his age came out, holding two paper bags, which unmistakably contained WWW merchandises.

He was getting colder, and decided to put his Transfiguration skills to test. He took out a crumpled paper and transformed it into a dark grey hoodie. Merlin, he's starting to get obsessed with Muggle clothing. He wore it with the hood covering his head and then proceeded to take another cigarette out of his pocket. He quickly lit it up and placed it on his lips. His lips puckered around it and he sucked in a puff of unhealthy smoke, blowing it out after.

He hoped Ginny takes her time. He doesn't want her coming out early to find him taking a drag. He doesn't want anyone to find him taking a drag. Never let anyone see you smoking, he repeated to himself. He heard the bells from Florean's ring and he turned his head to find Blaise and Hermione coming out hand in hand. If he knew Ginevra, she'd come out a bit later, so he hadn't to worry about finishing his fag quickly.

"Draco? What are you doing?" Asked the redhead's voice. He cursed, dropping the cigarette in haste and crushed it under his foot.

"Nothing, absolutely nothing." He said, pulling his hood down to take a look at her. He head was tilted at an angle, her red her dancing about in the wind. Merlin, when did she get so beautiful, he thought. This morning, another voice said.

"Draco, were you smoking?" She asked, taking a step closer to him. Wait, did she call me Draco?

"No, Weasley, I was not." He said, and saw hurt flash through her eyes for a moment. She nodded, letting the subject drop.

"So why'd you call me?" She asked, placing her hands into her pockets.

"Walk with me." He said, pointing to the street on the WWW's left.

"That's Knockturn Alley, Malfoy." She said, raising her eyebrows.

"I promise, I won't ship you off to Albania or something. It's just a walk, nothing wrong, okay?" He asked, looking back at her before turning and took the sharp left into Knockturn Alley. Ginny sighed, realising she can't do anything do stop him but neither can she leave him stranded so sped off after him, her much shorter frame making it hard for her to catch up. As if sensing her discomfort, Draco stopped, waiting for Ginny to jog to him. He smiled at her, and then took her hand in his and they walked in silence. Once the reached Borgin & Burkes, Draco stared at the shop window, which displayed all kinds of dark items. Ginny tugged on their clasped hands, and they both went back the way they came from.

"So, tell me Weasley, how do you find Blaise and Hermione's relationship?" He asked, turning to look at her. She just shrugged.

"Well, it's nothing like I have seen before. They're so truly in love. I just- I hope nothing tragic happens, you know. It will definitely kill them. Both." She said.

"Yes, I know that Weasley. Tragedies will definitely kill them." He stated.

"I didn't mean it that way." She said, glaring at him.

"Of course you didn't. There's so many other things you meant." He cracked a smile, thinking it was a joke. Ginny ignored him and decided to change the subject.

"So Blaise told me you don't tell him stuff anymore." She said. When she didn't get answer, she turned to look at him. He stared straight ahead.

"Please tell me, Malfoy."

"Nothing's wrong, Weasley. I'm just confused. And it's a really stupid confusion so I'd rather not tell anyone about it." He said, and Ginny felt disappointed but she didn't know why. "Now, what do I hear about a little Weasley that gets defensive about me, huh?" He asked, squeezing her hand a little.

"No- nothing. You didn't hear uh, anything." She stuttered and cursed herself mentally. Draco chuckled beside her and she could feel the vibrations.

"I didn't know little Weasel cares about me. Maybe I would've thought of smoking in front of you-" Draco stopped talking, realising what he had just said. Ginny's eyes widened and she wrenched her hand away from his.

"Malfoy? You smoke?" She asked, staring at him in disbelief. "Is that what you were doing there? Why did you deny?"

"Calm down Weasley, it's not a big deal." Draco shrugged, not knowing what to do as he was caught 'red-handed'.

"Big deal? Do you know how bad smoking is? You're gonna kill yourself." Ginny yelled.

"Just relax Weasley. It's custom made. Without all that crazy dangerous stuff." He said.

"Without the crazy stuff? Let me see. Accio cigarettes!" She pointed her wand at Draco's jean pocket and a packet of cigarettes flew onto her outstretched hand. "This? Does this look like customized cigarettes? It's just some cheap Muggle cigarettes." She said, throwing it onto the snow covered ground.

"Why the hell are you making a big deal out of this, Weasley? It's my wish if I want to smoke or not!" Draco yelled, pushing Ginny away. "You have no right to tell me what to do, Weasley! You have no absolute right!"

"No right? Then what about that day when I had a fever? You took care of me the whole day? Can I say that you had no right to do that?" Ginny asked, taking a step forward.

"Yeah, you're right, Weasley. I had no right to do that. No absolute right to do that to a lowly Weasley." He practically growled.

"Lowly Weasley? Is that what you think I am? You know what Malfoy? You are the lowly one here. Not me. Lowly just like your hypocrite father." She said, and slapped him. She took one last look at him before Apparating away.

Draco stared at the empty spot where she had stood and cursed himself mentally. He so wished he could take his words back. He looked at the cigarettes on the ground. He took out his lighter, lit the cigarettes and threw it onto the ground as well.

A/N: Sorry if I'm running out of my format for the A/Ns and Disclaimers. I'm in a rush to post this. Longest chapter yet.
