"Michael what is going on," Gabriel asks, wondering when Michael was going to let him go.

"Dad is coming to town." Michael says causing the other two to freeze.

"I don't want to see him," Gabriel says definitely. "I'm not going to see him."

"We don't have a choice." Michael let them both go. "Castiel go get ready for school."

Castiel nodded slowly dragging his feet as he went to the bathroom.

"You all look like someone killed a puppy in front of you," Lucifer says as the three brothers got into the car.

"Just drive," Michael snaps.

Lucifer glared at him. "I don't have to drive you guys to school so don't be an ass to me."

Michael shot him a glare back. "Stop fucking holding that over my head, drive us to school or don't, but stop acting like we should kiss your shoes because of it."

"Just ignore him," Gabriel says quiet and hushed. "We're not having a good morning Lucifer."

"Yeah, I can tell." Lucifer drove even crazier then he usually does.

Dean was waiting for Castiel by the front doors and the omega practically leapt into his arms. "What's wrong," the alpha asks. Dean grabbed his face and forced him to look at him. "What's wrong?" The alpha noticed Michael and Gabriel walking by, both looking sad as well.

"My father is coming to visit."

"Why is that bad," Dean asks.

Castiel dropped his head. "It's a long story."

Castiel and Dean sat on the stairs during lunch.

"I told you about how my mother died." He paused and tried to catch his breath. "My father remarried when I was seven. He wasn't a good person to begin with; he was abusive towards my mother and Michael but never towards Gabriel and me. He just yelled at us a lot. Then he married Naomi. We had only met her a few times before that and they didn't know each other very long. She demanded one hundred percent obedience at all times. Gabriel ran away a year later, he couldn't take it anymore. My father tracked him down and dragged him home. Naomi beat him that night."

"Poor Gabriel," Dean already looked horrified.

Castiel nodded. "Michael tried to protect him and Naomi beat him to. Needless to say my father could care less. While she was beating them, he sat on the couch, watching television, and drinking beer. I had asked what was going on; he responded that I needed to mind my own business. When I asked again, he took off his belt and beat me with it."

"Jesus Christ."

"My grandfather found out a week later. He didn't want to deal with a whole court case. He gave my father an ultimatum. He either left us in the custody of a nanny or he would take it to court. He didn't even want custody of us. He even took pictures in case we lied to cover it up. My grandfather died a few months ago and he was the only one keeping them away from us. Michael thinks that he wants custody of Gabriel and I. He hadn't been happy about giving up custody of us in the first place. That's why we've been trying to be extra careful the last few months. We don't want to be taken away from Michael."

"I don't know what to say," Dean says finally. "That's horrible."

"You can't tell anyone!" Castiel says quickly. He turned to his boyfriend. "Not even Anna knows."

"Does Balthazar?"

Castiel nodded. "Lucifer knows too, I don't know if Gabriel told anyone."

Dean nodded as well and wrapped his omega in his arms. "I'm sorry you had to go through that." He pressed his lips to Castiel's temple.

"Dress up," Michael orders.

Castiel nodded and was about to leave when Gabriel punched a wall.

"I'm not going to fucking dinner with that asshole and I'm definitely not dressing up for him." He punched the wall a few more times.

"You're going to bruise your hand. If he sees that, he can use it against me."

"What don't you get about I'm. Not. Going!" Gabriel turned towards his brother. "You know the step-bitch is going to be there, you know it!"

"I know Gabe, I know."

"I'm not going." Tears started to fall down his cheeks.

"We'll figure things out but we have to go meet him. I can't give him anything to use against me. Go get dressed please."

Gabriel sighed and went to his room.

"Go Cas," Michael says.

Castiel got dressed in his only suit, a blue tie, and his favorite trench coat. It would comfort him during the night ahead. He went back out to the living room and sat on the couch waiting for the other two. Michael came out first running his hand through his hair. "You ready?"

"Yes. How are we getting there?"

"Lucifer is lending me his car."

Gabriel came out in a button-up shirt and nice pants aside from the rip in the leg. "This is as good as you're getting."

"What happened to your pants?"

"They looked too nice."

Michael sighed. "I give up, both of you in the car."

The car ride was quiet and awkward and if it wasn't for where they were going, it would be a relief to get out of the car. Gabriel wrapped an arm around Castiel in a brotherly way and took a deep breath. "Ready?"

"Honestly, no." Castiel leaned his head against him.

Michael was about to tell the host they were there when he heard his name being called. There sat his father next to Naomi.

"I wasn't sure I'd be able to recognize you, I haven't seen you boys in forever." He hugged Michael first. "You look the same though, older but the same." He turned to his younger to sons. "You two look good too." He smiled at them. "You look so grown," he tells Castiel fixing the collar of his trench coat. "You turned out so handsome." He hugged him as well before turning to Gabriel. "Gabriel." He went forward to hug him but his son stepped back.

"Zachariah."

"You haven't changed a bit."

"Neither have you." His voice had a hard edge to it.

"Come sit, eat, my treat. When was the last time you boys had a proper meal."

"We eat just fine," Gabriel snaps. He sat down in the seat as far from Naomi as he could get. Michael had Castiel between them.

"So Michael, how have things been going for you?" Zachariah asks starting with him.

"Good," Michael says, awkwardly. The most awkward part was that Naomi was actually being quiet.

Zachariah sighed, realizing his son wasn't going to say more. "And you Gabriel?"

"You might as well skip me." Gabriel played with his menu.

"Fine, Castiel?"

Castiel looked up startled. "What?"

"How are things going for you?"

"Things are okay."

"Where'd you get the bruise on your neck," Naomi asks, eyebrows raised.

Castiel paled his hand reaching up touching his neck. Dean was always careful, he never left marks. He saw Michael sending him a glare. "Umm."

"Cassie has a boyfriend, is that a problem," Gabriel says, glaring at her. "He makes him happy."

"Really?" Zachariah smirked. "Tell me about this boyfriend."

"His name is Dean," Castiel says quietly.

"An alpha," Naomi asks, interjecting.

"Yes." Castiel started to blushed he was saved though when the waitress came over to take their order. It was going to be a long night.
