"Dean, do you think Dad is going to come home for your graduation?" Sam leaned forward resting his arms on the front seat.

"Probably not, why?"

"I was just being curious. Did you ask him too?"

"I told him when it was and if he comes he comes." Dean shrugged before using his right hand to reach over and play with Castiel's hair. "You're coming right?"

Castiel nodded, forcing a smile upon his lips as he looked over at the alpha. "I don't want to think about you not being at school."

"Well at least you don't have to worry about him going to a high prestige school far away," Sam teases leaning back again.

"No but Sammy here is going to leave me for some high end college that I'm going to go broke paying for."

"Don't worry Dean, you can live under my porch. I'll leave pies out for you." Sam chuckled at his own joke, or at least Dean hoped it was a joke, he had better get his own room.

Castiel watched them go back and forth for a while longer. He rarely had conversations with his brothers as easily as Dean had them with Sam. Usually Gabriel would make a suggestive comment and before Castiel could respond, Michael would chastise him. Sometimes Lucifer and Gabriel would have an inappropriate conversation while Michael would yell at them to stop. Castiel always enjoyed those because although Michael sounded angry they would all be laughing.

Castiel came back to the present right as Dean made a comment about Sam needing to get laid.

"You need to get laid too," Sam responds quickly.

"I agree," Castiel mutters.

"There you go now have sex."

"New topic," Dean orders. "We get Cas until nine how about we all take a long drive, get lost, and then try and get back in time. It'll be like an adventure."

"If you don't get me back in time, Michael will be angry."

"Then there will be a sense of danger to it." Dean smirked at his boyfriend. "Sam you pick the first turn."

"Left here," Sam orders after they had gone three miles.

"Cas your turn next."

They each took turns picking a direction until they had spent three hours getting essentially in the middle of nowhere.

"Alright wicked brain Sammy, get us back."

Castiel was amazed as Sam led Dean back to town, he was even able to tell which type of road was next. They pulled in the driveway at 8:57.

"See what did I tell you, you'd be home in time." Dean gave him a shit eating grin.

Castiel smiled back at him. "I never doubted you." The omega leaned over and started to kiss Dean. "Oh Michael invited Sam and you over for supper on Friday. Can you come?"

"I have to work at the garage until seven."

"I'm sure we can wait for you to be done."

"Alright we'll be there."

Castiel and Dean exchanged another brief kiss, the omega froze though when he turned to look at the driveway. Lucifer's car was parked on the right but there was another vehicle he didn't know on the left. "I had better get going."

"Bye."

"Goodbye Dean, bye Sam."

"Bye."

The omega took his time getting into the house unsure of what was going on. His fear was confirmed when he opened the door and Naomi and Zachariah were sitting on the loveseat. Michael looked up as he entered the room and offered a small smile.

"Come sit with us," Michael says reaching his hand out towards him.

Castiel gulped but walked over sitting next to his older brother.

"You're late," Naomi says matter of factly. It's 9:03, I was told your curfew was at 9."

"I was in the driveway." Castiel stared down at his feet as he spoke. "I'm sorry Michael," his voice was hushed enough that Naomi was unable to hear what he had said. The alpha responded by rubbing his back.

"As I was saying," Zachariah starts. "We have spoken with a lawyer and he believes we would have no trouble getting custody of Gabriel and Castiel but I would like to avoid having to go to court. So I have a deal to make you. Michael you give us custody now and I will allow you to see them otherwise if we get custody from court, I believe it would be in the best interest of all involved if you left their lives."

Michael froze next to him.

"That's bullshit!" Gabriel shot up. "You fucking beat the shit out of us, no judge in their right mind would give you custody."

"Sweetheart we have never beaten any of you."

Lucifer growled from his spot on the armrest. "You have no fucking right."

"You aren't part of this family." Naomi and him set each other in a glare.

"I'm more a part of this family then you will ever be."

"What exactly would you having custody mean?"

The other three turned to look at Michael. Gabriel looked ready to kill all of them.

"We would take them back to California with us. You could either stay with us or just come to visit, we can't force you into anything."

"Michael," Gabriel whispers. "If you give us away to them, I will never forgive you."

"Can I think about it," Michael asks Zachariah.

"You can have until Friday."

"Okay, you said what you had to, now get out of my house."

"I trust you'll make the right decision for this family," Zachariah tells him. He put his attention onto Castiel. "I would like to speak with Castiel before I leave."

"No."

"Be very careful what you say Michael."

"It's fine," Castiel whispers.

"Why don't you show me your room," Zachariah offers. The omega nodded silently getting up and leading the way to his bedroom. Zachariah looked around his room with curiosity. "Is this Dean," he asks picking up a picture of the couple.

"Yes."

It was the picture they had taken together at the park. Sam had to take pictures for his photography class and a few of them ended up being of Dean and Castiel. Dean had been giving Castiel a piggy back ride and Sam happened to take a picture right as they were connecting eyes. Both of them fell in love with the picture and had matching ones on their nightstand.

"How long have you two been dating?"

"It will be six months in a week."

"He treats you right," Zachariah asks as he set the picture back down.

"Yes."

"Do you love him?"

"Yes."

The alpha nodded to himself. "I'm sure you think I have come here to ruin your life but Castiel I only want what's best for you. You were so little when the whole mess happened and I know if a judge asked you, you wouldn't lie to them, correct?"

"You're right, I wouldn't," the omega set his father with a glare. "I would tell him everything right down to the details."

"What about when I tell the judge about how you have every reason to lie? What happens then? When I tell him, that you are afraid of being taken away from your precious boyfriend. I can let you speak with him or I could make it so you never speak again, it is completely up to you. You go up there and tell the judge the truth then no hard feelings. Michael tells me you plan to go to college, you know I could help pay for that, there's no way you could pay for it yourself and Michael will never make enough money at the bank unless he robs it."

Castiel stood stone cold as his father hugged him and left. Not long after Gabriel came in. They slept in Castiels room together. Gabriel had cried for a while but eventually fell asleep curled up next to Castiel.
