Side note - this was fun to write. Oh, and I don't own this.

"You aren't listening to me. Are you a moron or something?"

"There are people dying while you're arguing we need to go after her! I think we both know who's the moron here."

Donnie watched as the snake woman - who said her name was Dahlia - crossed her arms and snarl at him as he continued to shout at her. She had turned back to her human form and managed to find a bloodied surgical garb to wear over her. She was taller than April, thus barely reaching Raph's shoulder. Her wild, frizzy hair and her bright yellow eyes made her look dangerous.

He glanced over to where Leo and Mikey were working with the boy to try and get him to talk more about Marian. The boy told them his name was Sullivan, but wasn't able to give much info over anything about Marian. He did confirm his abilities, from creating large protective bubbles around himself to invisible shields he could move. He also said he could see through walls, which is how he knew when to hide when the guards came.

Dahlia got sick of Raph and headed towards the hall where Marian went. Her body slowly transformed, her hair falling out and her brown skin turning black, yellow, and white with scales. She grew in height, towering over everyone, and ripped off the surgical gown.

"I'm going," she hissed, looking at each turtle. "I'm gonna kill her and that's that."

Donnie quickly moved and grabbed her wrist. Leo stood from kneeling in front of Sullivan.

"No one is killing anyone. We don't kill," Leo said, not noticing Mikey flinching at his words.

"You don't understand how much she needs to die," Dahlia said, glaring at him.

He crossed his arms. "Enlighten us, then."

She smirked. She broke Donnie's grasp and crossed her arms as well.

"First off, we're here because of her," she said, and Donnie felt his heart drop into his stomach. "She lured us here. Sometimes she took her time, others it was just one chance meeting online. She picked us out and we got caught."

"You have no proof of that," Donnie said weakly.

Dahlia turned her gaze to him, looking down at him with pity and familiarity.

"I liked her too,"she admitted. "I thought we had something. We were going to meet when they took me. She's a liar and she crushes hearts like they're bugs under her shoe. I'm just returning the favor, though I'm going to be doing it literally."

She turned away and snaked down the corridor, ignoring any other attempts to talk. Sullivan watched, holding onto Mikey's hand. Mikey knelt down, turning the boy towards him.

"I'm gonna take you to our home, okay?" He said, smiling reassuringly. "We'll get you cleaned up and big brother Mikey will get us some pizza when we get hungry. You like pizza, Sullivan?"

The boy nodded. Mikey picked him up, holding him in one arm. He turned to Leo and his brother nodded. Mikey quickly headed down the opposite corridor, running swiftly but carefully. Leo turned to Raph and Don.

"I'll look for survivors," he said. "We'll meet outside on the rooftop in thirty minutes."

"Do you even think we have thirty minutes?" Raph asked.

"Police haven't shown up yet. My guess whoever owns this isn't wanting attention."

Donnie quickly set his watch. "Done. Watch set to go off in thirty."

"Good. You two are going after Marian. No buts Raph."

Raph grunted and turned away, heading down the hall. Donnie turned as well, following him as their brother headed off to look for survivors.

Marian finally found the door she was looking for. It was at first inconspicuous, but upon closer examination, one could see the multitude of locks and the thick metal and rubber that made up the door. She smiled and took a step back. She raised her arms, feeling the power that resonated in the walls and kept the door shut. She flicked her fingers and the power overloaded, cracking the walls. It all but exploded and the door fell forward from its spot on the wall.

She smirked and stepped on it, heading into the room. It was dark, no lights in the room except for a soft blue glow shining toward the back. Marian walked slowly, taking in the moment as the source of the glow came into view. A large tank sat in the back and inside floating in water, wires and tubes protruding from its body, was a fiendish blue creature. It was twice as big as any of the turtles and an absolute monster compared to Marian. It's body was thin and sleek. It had no mouth or nose, only two sets of eyes that were closed. It had two sets of arms, one pair of legs, and a tail curled below it. Marian touched the glass, smiling happily.

"Found you," a voice said from behind.

Marian turned to see Dahlia. Dahlia was slithered closer, eying the girl and the monster behind her. Marian frowned. She clenched her fists.

"I don't need this right now," she said. "Can't you wait till it's more convenient?"

"Nope. I intend to make sure you can't hurt anyone else."

Marian snarled. Electricity crackled around her, causing her hair to hover around her.

"Dahlia, if you want to cast your misplaced punishment on me, fine," she said, backing up and touching the glass. "I'd do it quickly though."

She started glowing blue. Her eyes turned black and and strands of energy began moving from her hand, through the glass, and connected to the creature. Dahlia saw the monster slowly open its eyes and she immediately attacked. She tackled Marian, breaking the link and causing the monster to shudder violently then go back to floating in the tank.

Marian shrieked, clawing at Dahlia's eyes and sendings painful shocks throughout her body. The snake woman slashed at her, ripping her shirt open and cutting through her left breast and causing it to bleed profusely. She slashed again, striking her stomach and leaving four thick lines of blood and torn flesh. Marian punched her in the face, dazing her before shoving her fist in her mouth. Dahlia was rightfully confused for a moment before Marian sent a full charge of electricity through her fist.

The shock caused Dahlia's jaw to snap down onto Marian's wrist. The human flipped her over, now on top and punching her with her free hand. Dahlia convulsed, her eyes rolled back and the blood from Marian's wrist mixed with the increasing amount of saliva. Marian gripped the snake woman's bottom jaw, forcing it open and pulling out her hand.

She spit on her, giving her one more punch to the gut before stumbling up. She clutched her torn chest and turned to walk back to the creature. Dahlia's tail snapped, knocking her legs from under her. It coiled around her, squeezing tighter and tighter. Dahlia sat up, spitting out blood from her mouth.

"Full of stupid surprises," she muttered and turned to her. "Good thing I'm now super resilient, huh?"

Marian choked, her body making painful crunching noises as she was squeezed. Dahlia rose, dragging her to the tank. She frowned, tapping the glass.

"What the hell is this thing?" She asked.

Marian groaned in pain.

"Important, I'm guessing... Well, time to get rid of it."

"N-no!" Marian cried out. "Dahlia, p-please!"

Dahlia smirked and started looking around for a way to destroy it. She was kneeling down when a cold, sharp point was pressed against her neck.

"Drop the girl, snake lady," Raph growled. "I ain't afraid to hurt you if I have too."

Dahlia snarled. She tossed Marian away, who just flopped onto the floor. Donnie knelt down, checking her for more injuries. Dahlia turned around slowly, hands in the air.

"Why are you siding with her? It's her fault! This is all her fault!"

"We're not siding with anyone, we're just trying to get everyone out of this hellhole in one piece," Raph said. "Now that we've got you, we can leave, and you can go back to killing her elsewhere."

Marian staggered up, gripping Donnie for support. She reached out for the creature.

"Donnie, take me to it," she begged. "I'm so close. So close!"

"What is that thing?" He asked.

"Just take me to it!"

"Donnie, forget the freak show and let's leave," Raph said, looking over his shoulder at him.

Dahlia took the chance and stared ripping tubes and wires out of the tank. Marian screamed, shoving Donnie out of the way and running as fast as she could to get to the tank. The monster inside began convulsing, it's body jerking and hitting the sides of the tank. Raph restrained Dahlia but was too late to stop what she started.

Marian pounded her fists against the glass as she watched the creature's body begin to dissipate, mixing with the liquid in the tank. She slowly stopped, sinking to her knees as she watched the liquid turn blue. The glow that had illuminated the room faded. Marian let out a wail, tugging her hair and curling into a ball. Donnie knelt down beside her, unsure what to do or say. She immediately grabbed onto him, wrapping her small arms around his neck as she sobbed into his shoulder.

"I can never see the stars," she whispered to him through her tears. "I'll never see them again."

Donnie hugged her, looking up at Dahlia. She just smiled.

Leo waited on the roof, pacing and struggling to remain calm. His brothers had not shown up yet and the sun would rise soon. He growled in frustration. He took a deep breath, letting it out slowly. He repeated to himself he needed to remain calm. Patience was key.

He heard a sound coming from the alley below him. He paused, looked down into the dark. A man was stumbling out from a pile of garbage bags, dressed in a white coat covered in blood. He was talking to himself loudly yet so fast Leo couldn't hear exactly what he was saying. The turtle narrowed his eyes in suspicion, carefully dropping down to the alley.

"Oh Go!, God, God, they did it, they did it!" He nearly shouted. "I tried so hard to stop it!"

Leo could see the wound on his head oozing out blood, dripping off his face. The man stumbled more before he dropped to his knees. He looked up at the sky in a wide-eye craze. He held up his arms and screamed with all his might. Then he promptly passed out.

Emerging from the shadows, Leo went to the man and checked him for any identification. He found a name tag with the man's smiling face and the name 'Randal E. Parks, MD.' Leo smiled slightly at his luck and hoisted the man onto his shoulder. He climbed back to the roof, happily surprised to see Raph and Donnie with the women. Dahlia – human once more – was out cold, being carried on Raph's shoulder. Marian was in Donnie's arms with a dead look in her eyes. Leo frowned.

"Glad you're okay. You had better luck than I did," he said. "What happened?"

"Bitch went a little psycho and I knocked her out," Raph said flatly. "Can we go now?"

"Happily. Donnie, got a patient for you to patch up. I think he worked in that building."

Donnie nodded silently. He glanced down at Marian. She looked back at him blankly, more tears starting to form. She leaned her head back. The stars were fading away as daybreak approached. She choked and curled back into Donnie's chest, sobbing and whispering about the stars.
