Chapter 14 The Robot and Rescue
Davis and Volt were in there training ground sitting on a boulder.
"Where are they Davis?" Volt asked looking at him.
"They'll be here Volt." Davis reassured.
"Hey guys!" Davis and Volt looked to see Anna with Kari right behind her. Kari was wearing a no sleeves white t-shirt with a no sleeves black vest wearing a sideways pink layered skirt that stopped abover her knees and blue boots.
"We got a little lost looking for this place." Kari giggled.
Today was Kari's day off so she called Davis to take him up on his and Volt's offer to train her and Anna to make them stronger.
"That's ok." Davis smiled.
"Yeah lets start the training." Volt raising up his left fist getting pumped.
For the next six hours Volt was training Anna hard having her go through everything Volt did to make himself stronger in battle, while Davis trained Kari so she would'nt be an easy target in battle. When they were done Kari and Anna were sitting on the ground breathing hard and heavey all worn out and exhausted.
"You guys do this kind of training daily?" Anna gasped out.
"Yeah and sometimes we push ourselves harder." Volt chuckled putting his hands behind his head.
"We dont want to be weak and be ready for whatever comes our way." Davis smiled.
"It would seem like it. I guess you can never be too careful." Kari huffed.
"Lets take a break." Davis suggested as the group sat down on the boulders to rest and decided to talk to one another.
"So these were just pure instincts before you started your training?" Anna asked amazed.
"Yeah. I dont know how but apparently I already knew how to fight like I do now. I think its linked to my memory but me and Davis dont have any leads yet." Volt said.
"Im sure you'll figure something out." Kari assured.
"Here you are." The gang turned around and saw a bald man wearing a gray t-shirt and blacks shorts with brown boots with a ice blue book in his right hand and next to him was something that looked like a robot.
"A robot?" Volt asked.
"This could be trouble." Kari said as they got up with their spellbooks in hand.
"Hello there my name is Gary and this is Botch the Andromon. And we've come here for you Volt and Anna." Gary smirked.
"Why them?" Davis asked.
"Well I heard a rumor that a boy wearing a blue lizard costume was here in japan and I figured it was Volt so I came here to take care of the little weakling. And once I saw Kari with Anna on a flyer I figured she found her partner, so Im taking care of two birds with one stone. It works even greater for me since you both are here together." Botch smiled.
"And just when Maguc was taken care of." Anna growled.
"Maguc was defeated?" Botch asked surprised.
"Yeah by me." Volt said.
"You? By the guy who passed out using his own spell and whine when he was being made fun of? Are you kidding me?" Botch laughed holding on to his stomach.
"Was I really like that back in the Digital World?" Volt growled clutching his fists in anger.
"Um I dont want to answer that." Anna stuttered pressing her paws together.
"Either way we'll kick your ass if your trying to attack us." Kari said.
"So bring it." Davis said.
"Glady." Gary smirked opening his book as it glowed. "Raygor!"
Botch fired red lazors from his eyes making the gang split in two dodging the blast. Volt and Anna ran up to Botch who kept firing lasers, when they got close enough Volt socked Botch in the face while Anna uppercutted him making him fly up in the air.
"Volker!" Davis shouted.
"Charsu!" Kari shouted.
Firing blue lightning and magneta x both attacks hit Botch after he recovered his landed right infront of Gary.
"Gary I need one powerful spell." Botch said.
"Comming up." Gary said with the book glowing more. "Gicanno!"
Botch joined his hands together as they formed a satelite firing a large white energy beam with purple static.
"Kari we need to put up defenses." Davis said.
"Im on it." Kari said.
"Zashield!"
"Angeshield!"
Volt and Anna put up their shields to stop Botchs Gicanno attack but it blasted right through it and hit Volt and Anna knocking them on the ground.
"Ok, that's not gonna do anything. He blasted right through our shields." Anna groaned getting up.
"True, but it wont stop me." Volt got up and ran towards Botch.
"Volt wait!" Anna shouted.
"Your just begging to get killed." Botch chuckled firing Gicanno at Volt again.
"I dont think so. Liruk!" Davis shouted.
Volt flashed dodging the Gicanno completley.
"What the? A teleportation spell?" Botch asked.
"Yes it is." Botch turned around seeing Volt right behind him.
"Volkerga!" Davis shouted as Volt blasted Botch right on his back forcing him to the ground.
"Dont get ahead of yourselves. Rayice."
Getting off the ground Botch turned his head and fired a light blue energy beam that Volt in the chest as he landed not only that but it froze him solid.
"No Volt!" Kari said concerned.
"Damn." Davis growled.
"Now I think I'll break this ice." Botch smirked raising up his right arm.
"Im not gonna let you!" Anna shouted running on all fours to Botch jumped up and kicked his across the face making him stagger back, Anna then grabbed Botchs face and tossed him to Garys feet. When Anna landed she went to Volts ice sculpture. "Volt are you ok? Can you hear me?"
"He's frozen solid." Kari said as she and Davis came towards them.
"We'll get him out." Davis said.
"Not if I can help it." Botch said getting up.
"Gicanno!" Gary said.
"Saloshi!" Kari said.
Anna got infront of the gang and created her white dome protecting them from the attacks.
"Gary put more power into it." Botch said.
"You got it." Gary said with the book glowing more and Gicanno growing bigger making the dome crack.
"Get down." Davis grabbed Kari and Anna covering them both as the dome broke apart creating smoke when it cleared Davis was on top of both Kari and Anna as Volt was out of the ice on his back. "You girls ok?" Davis asked getting off them.
"Yeah we'll be just fine." Kari said rising up.
"Volt how about you?" Anna asked.
"Cold, but I'll live." Volt said through chattering teeth.
"One more hit should settle this." Botch grinned.
"I've had enough of you!" Anna growled bringing up her paws as they shinned magenta and continued to shin brighter. "Kari!"
"You got it." Kari opened her book and saw that it was glowing brighter and when she turned the page she found a new spell, deciding to see what it could do she went with it. "The fourth spell Charsuga!"
Anna brought her paws down firing her attack but it spun around leaving a trail of pink energy as it almost looked like a drill, Botch fired his Gicanno attack as Anna launched hers when they collided Annas drilled right through Botchs and right into him and Gary hurting them greatly the attack also hit their book as it burned slowly. Gary was on his back knocked out and Botch sit himself up and leaned on a rock as he started to disappear.
"Well I guess I underestimated you two. Looks like you were'nt lying." Botch chuckled.
"I got a new spell! An even stronger Charsu!" Anna squealed jumping up and down.
"I know! That training really did something for us!" Kari laughed.
"Good for you guys." Davis smiled.
Volt walked up to Botch and looked at him.
"For what its worth you were a honorable opponent at best." Volt complimented.
"Thanks Volt, you were'nt so bad yourself. And your alot different that your look alike." Botch smiled.
"Wait look alike?" Volt asked confused as the other walked up to them.
"Yeah in England I saw someone that looked exactly like you, but I could tell from the moment I saw him he was'nt like you at all." Botch said.
"Wait what do you mean?" Anna asked.
"Sorry but my time is up." No soon as he said that Botch's book burned completely and he vanished.
"He's gone." Kari said.
"Yeah." Davis nodded. "He said in England he saw a Volt look alike. That's exactly where dad found Volt."

Davis and Volt were looking out the window of a plane watching as they were passing by the clouds.
"Do you really think we'll find what we're looking for in England?" Volt asked Davis.
"I dont know pal, but we can ask my dad once we get there." Davis said.
"Y'know its a shame Kari and Anna could'nt come along with us."
"I hear ya pal."

Davis was in his nightwear sitting on the phone talking to Kari who was in a pink short sleeved shirt and purple shorts sitting on her bed both having it on speaker with Volt and Anna beside them.
"So you guys are going to England?" Kari asked.
"Yeah. We think we can find some answers to Volt's past there as well as finding out about that look alike Botch talked about." Davis said.
"I wish you guys could come along with us." Volt said.
"Me too. But we have a shoot Kari needs to do and we cant miss it." Anna said.
"I hope you guys find what your looking for. And please be careful over there." Kari pleaded.
"Dont worry Kari we will." Davis reassured.
"Volt that goes for you too." Anna added in.
"You got it." Volt nodded.

"So are we going to visit your dad?" Volt asked as he and Davis were walking through the university were Davis' dad worked at.
"Yeah Im hoping he might have a few answers no matter how small they are." Davis said.
Once Davis and Volt got to Jacks office they saw it was a mess books, papers, documents, everything was scattered all over the floor not to mention the desk was toppled over and the bookshelf was unorganized.
"What happend here?" Volt asked.
"I think my father was kidnapped." Davis said recognizing there was a struggle from the mess. He then noticed a weird gray flower lying on the floor. "What kind of flower is that?"
"I've seen flowers like that before I went to Japan. I saw them near a castle that's 2 miles away from here." Volt said.
"Then I guess that's where we're heading." Davis said.
Once they left the messed up office Davis and Volt walked on a dirt road that lead away from the city into the deep forest, as they walked Davis and Volt heard strange noises behind them so they turned around and saw a green sportscar comming up thier way it was filled with girls and the one driving it was Tk with Gabrime on his head and both were smiling.
"Davis Volt hello my friends!" Tk shouted waving.
"Hey guys!" Gabrime shouted.
"Tk?" Davis asked confused and shocked.
"Gabrime?" Volt asked the same.
Once Tk parked the car next to them he stepped out and greeted them.
"Man its great to see you guys." Tk chuckled.
"What are you guys doing here?" Volt asked.
"We're here for a little Tk convection they're throwing here in England. While we wait Tk decided to take his fan girls for a drive." Gabrime said.
"But enough about us what are you guys doing here?" Tk asked.
"My dad was kidnapped and we're heading up to that castle in the forest to find him." Davis said.
"Well how about me and Gabrime help you out." Tk offered.
"We could use the experience through this for a action movie our produccer needs to make." Gabrime said.
"Um sure I guess." Volt shrugged.
Once Tk promised to meet his fan girls at the hotel they drove off with the car and he, Davis, Volt, and Gabrime continued on their way.

The gang stopped at the end of the dirt road and saw the castle Volt mentioned on top of a dirt hill.
"Is this the castle Volt?" Davis asked.
"Yeah that's it." Volt nodded.
"Kinda looks midieval." Gabrime said.
"All castles do when you think about it." Tk said.
They walked into the castle and walked passed through hallways and such they stopped once they entered a throne room and saw a redheaded fat guy wearing a muscle shirt and black shorts sitting in a throne.
"Who the hell are you?" The fat guy asked.
"Um we're travelers." Tk said.
"Travelers? Oh for a second there I thought you were here to rescue my prisoners."
"Wait prisoners?" Gabrime asked.
"Yeah you see Im holding a few people here hostage to earn some huge cash."
"Wait is one of them a professer from the university?" Volt asked.
"Yeah you'd be surprised what people are willing to fork over for a smart guy." The guy chuckled.
"Then you're the one who kidnapped my dad!" Davis shouted.
"Dad? Oh wait you must be that professers kid. This is rich the little boy has come to save his dadda." The guy laughed.
"I will get him back!" Davis said.
"And if I were you I would hand him and the other prisoners over. Cause its 4 against one." Gabrime said.
"Guess again." The guy smirked as a large shadow crept up from behind him, when it came into view it was a giagantic dino robot with twin cannon on its back. It was then the guy pulled out a silver book from the side of his throne.
"Is that thing a Digimon?!" Tk exclaimed.
"It sure is." Volt gritted feeling its energy.
"Meet my partner in crime, Bash the Machinedramon. And Im his boss Brute." Brute rose up from the thrown opening his book as Davis and Tk did the same as they all glowed.
"Get ready guys." Davis said.
"Its showtime." Tk said.
"Right." Volt and Gabrime nodded.
"Slashwi!" Brute shouted.
Bash detached his claw from his wrist and swung it at the gang like a wip making them dodge out the way.
"Volker!" Volt fired his attack right in Bash's face.
"Traruk!" Gabrime transformed into a giant hammer and swung himself in Bash's chest.
"That little thing wont work on Bash!" Brute laughed. "Barshe!"
Bash roared reared his cannons forward and fired a barrage of orange energy beams at Volt and Gabrime with Volt jumping and dodging while Gabrime flyed around trying not to get hit.
"Tk you and Gabrime go free the prisoners. Me and Volt will hold these guys off." Davis said.
"Ok then, just be careful amigo." Tk said taking off.
"Give this guy a beating Volt." Gabrime said flying in the air and going after Tk.
"Lets do this!" Volt charge at Bash running through his barrage of lasers.
"Take it to him Volt!" Davis encouraged.
"Not gonna happen!" Brute laughed.

Tk and Gabrime were running through the halls til they came across the cellars and saw the people trapped in there.
"Well we found the prisoners now we just need to get them out." Tk said.
"Luckly during the fight I managed to grab the keys." Gabrime said jingling the keys.
"Great, now lets bust these people out." Tk said.
And with that the two worked together to get all the people out of the cells when Tk opened up the last cell a 34 year old man with dark brown eye and hair that looked like Kakashi's wearing glasses and a gray suit with black shoes walked out to see who set him free.
"Who are you?" The man asked.
"I am the great Tk Takashi. Me and your son have come to save you and these people." Tk answered recoginzing the man from Davis' description.
"My son?" The man said now known as Jack Motomiya.

"Liruk!"
Volt flashed and dodged the claw whip that flew at him it came at him again but Volt caught with his arms.
"Come here you!" Volt roared yanking on the whip pulling Bash towards him when he got close enough Volt jumped up and swift kicked him in the face knocking Bash down on his back.
"Take that dinobot!" Davis smirked.
"How can a little lizard like that beat my Bash!" Brute growled.
"Davis! I did it I saved the prisoners!" Davis turned to see Tk and Gabrime come out with all the people, it was then that Davis saw his dad.
"Dad?" Davis asked smiling glad to see he was ok.
"Davis? And Volt too?" Jack asked stunned.
"Hey Jack your here!" Volt smiled as he landed.
Not seeing behind him Volt didn't see Bash rise up and fire Barshe at his back.
"Volt look out!" Jack shouted.
Volt turned around and saw the attack comming right at him.
"I got it covered Dad. Zashield!" Davis said.
Volt made his shield appear from the ground and fired Barshe right back at Bash slamming him right beside Brute who growled in anger.
"Its over Brute, we won." Volt smirked.
"I dont think so. I still have one more trick up my sleeve. Petoom!" Brute said.
Bash rise his cannons up and fired the same gray flowers that were in Jack's office all over the walls and ceiling then the whole castle started to shake.
"What's going on?!" Tk asked.
"The whole place is falling apart!" Garbrime yelled.
"That's right because anything my flowers touch collaspes. And Im making sure none of you see the light of day!" Brute laughed as he climbed on Bash's back and the dinobotmon ran through the wall leaving the people to their doom.
"You creep!" Davis shouted.
"How are we gonna get everyone outta here?" Jack asked.
"Tk use Traruk and have Gabrime transform into a bus and get half of these people outta here. I'll have Volt Liruk the other half out as fast as possible." Davis said.
"You heard him Gabrime. Lets do it." Tk said pulling out his book.
"Im on it Tk." Gabrime nodded.
"Volt use your full speed pal." Davis said.
"Ok." Volt said.
Gabrime turned into a bus and got the people out while Volt kept disappearing and reappearing in blue lightning as that was going on Jack stayed by his son's side.
"I have to say son you've changed." Jack smiled.
"Yeah well you can thank Volt for that." Davis chuckled. "He showed me what it means to stay true to myself to matter what. Even if people dont like me as long as I stand by my true friends and those close to me I will do everything in my power to help anyone in need so they dont suffer the same pain I went through. To me that's what it means to be a friend." Davis smiled looking at Jack.
"I am so proud of you Davis." Jack said ruffing Davis' head. "And thank you Volt for bringing me my boy back."
Volt came up to them at the castle got worse and look like it was gonna tuble any moment.
"That's everyone except us. Ready to ditch this place?" Volt smiled.
"Sure am." Jack said.
"Me too." Davis said.
Jack grabbed Davis' shoulder as Davis did the same to Volt, he then Liruk them out the castle as it fell apart. When they got out Tk, Gabrime and the people were standing there and out of nowhere the people gathers and started throwing Davis, Volt, Tk, and Gabrime into the shouting their names over and over again making the four of them laugh.

Brute jumped off Bash back as they rested against a tree.
"That was close." Brute huffed at Bash nodded.
"You failed." Brute and Bash turned around to look behind the tree to see a small dark figure with yellow eyes walk from behind the tree.
"Hey we didn't count on that blue lizard to be powerful!" Brute shouted.
"Him? Powerful?" The figure asked.
"Yeah he totally wiped the floor with us! You said he was weak!" Brute yelled accusingly.
"He is. And if you lost to him, then that means you are obviously weaker. Meaning I have no further use for the likes of you." The figure raised up its right hand at Brute and Bash. "Goodbye."
A taller dark figure obviously looking like a teenager came from behind the smaller one and opened up a gray book with it glowing as black lightning came from the small figures hand.
"Volker." The taller figure said.
The attack that looked like Volt's but black shot right at Brute and Bash too fast for them to do anything as Bash's book instantly burned in one go as Bash disappeared and Brute landed on his back coughing up blood and died instantly due to the power of the attack.
As the figure brought its hand down it looked at where the castle used to be with one person on its mind.
"Volt Bell." The small figure said as black lightning covered it and the taller figure and were gone from sight.
