Chapter 15 Secrets Revealed
In a mansion near the city of England there was a party going on in honor of Davis, Tk, Volt, and Gabrime saving the people from Brute and Bash appearntly the queen's niece was kidnapped but thanks to the heroes she was saved and now a party was being thrown.
"This is one heck of a party." Volt laughed as he and Gabrime were at the table eating the food.
"You got that right, but me and Tk go to parties like this all the time." Gabrime bragged raising his head up high.
"Y'know Gabrime you really showed bravery today." Volt smiled raising up a chocolate cake.
"Thanks Volt, it was really exciting." Gabrime chuckled raising up a cheese cake.
The two pushed cakes together and ate them, hearing shouting they turned to see Tk talking to his fan girls.
"So there I was herorically saving the people and rushing out the falling castle with my partner Gabrime by my side as well with the help of my sidekicks Davis and Volt. And thanks to my brave intelegence I saved everyone from the clutches of the dastardly villans." Tk said clutching his right fist.
"You're so brave Tk!" All the girls said hugging up on Tk who laughed heartly.
"He's taking credit of all the work me and Davis did." Volt with a deadpanned look.
"Yeah well Tk likes to brag about himself." Gabrime chuckled nervously sweatdropping.
Outside of the mansion on the balcony were Davis and Jack as Davis was explaining the whole situation to his father about what Volt was and why he and the Digimon are here.
"I see. A battle to determine the king of another world. Most interesting." Jack mussed putting his fingers to his chin. "But looks like I was right in thinking you would be able to read the book." Jack said turning to Davis.
"Yeah you were Dad." Davis chuckled softly then looked at his father. "Listen Dad I want you to tell me where exactly did you find Volt."
"Why?"
"Because we're gonna go there to see if we can find anything linked to Volt's memory."
"I could but I doubt you'll find anything."
"Anything is better than nothing. Ever since I've been apart of the battle to decide the Digimon King I have meet Digimon who know Volt and majority of them have called him weak and a outcast, but his strength and power says otherwise. Hopefully we can find some answers as to why is that and maybe find out who he was in the Digital World as well as how he lost his memory in the first place."
"I see. In that case I will give you the direction. I only hope you can finally find the answers to Volt's past.
"That goes double for me as well for Volt's sake."

Davis and Volt were on top of a hill with Davis having his backpack on with his book inside and he was looking at the map and Volt was hanging on his left shoulder.
"From the way my Dad gave us on this map all we have to do is past that town down there and we'll be in the forest where Dad found you." Davis said.
"I can only wonder what we'll find there." Volt said.
They made their way towards the town below and saw very few people out and the ones that were looked at them and ran off.
"I wonder what has them all spooked?" Davis wondered.
"I dont know, let me ask." Volt said going to some man having hay into a wagon. "Excuse me."
When the man turned around to look at Volt he just screamed and ran off catching the rest of the people's attention and they did the same running into their homes.
"I'm gonna go on a limb here and say the people are acting strange is cause of you pal." Davis said walking up behind Volt.
"But why me?" Volt asked.
"I dont know." Davis said but Botch's words rung in his head.
"Yeah in England I saw someone that looked exactly like you, but I could tell from the moment I saw him he was'nt like you at all."
"I hope I'm wrong about this." Davis thought.
When they got out of the town Davis and Volt crossed a dirt road and was infront of the forest.
"Well this is it." Davis said.
"Sure is." Volt said.
They were about to walk when a bus drove behind them only to stop a few feet away from them Volt and Davis turned to the bus and saw Anna and Kari walked out of it towards them, well Kari did Anna just marched up to Volt and gave him a mad look with her paws on her hips.
"Kari what are you and Anna doing here?" Davis asked.
"The shoot we were suppose to do was actually here in England and we just got done with it." Kari said.
"Anyway Volt what's with giving me the cold shoulder!" Anna shouted.
"What are you talking about?" Volt asked.
"Dont play dumb with me!" Anna grabbed Volt by the neck and shook him around as he shouted flailing around.
"Anna we dont know if it was Volt or not." Kari said.
"What's going on Kari?" Davis asked.
"Well at the photoshoot me and Anna saw something." Kari said.

In the fields Kari and Anna were sitting in lawnchairs watching the crewmen fixing up the equipment.
"They should be done here in a few minutes." Kari said.
"Once we get done we can take the rest of the day off." Anna said.
Anna looked out the corner of her eye and she saw what looked like Volt looking at her from behing the trees and bushes.
"Hey Volt!" Anna smiled jumping out the lawnchair and waved at him.
"Volt's here?" Kari asked getting up and looked in Anna's direction.
"Yeah. Hey how's it going Volt?" 'Volt' just smirked turned around and walked off. "Hey!" Anna fumed throwing her hands down.
"Anna Im not so sure that's Volt. Something seems off." Kari said.
"Yeah and it'll be Volt's head the next time I see him!" Anna growled.

"And that's what happend." Kari concluded.
"That cant be. Volt has been by my side since we came to England." Davis said.
"Huh?" Anna asked having Volt in a headlock who had his tongue sticking out.
"We didn't even know you guys were in England." Volt said as Anna released him.
"So the person we saw was'nt Volt." Kari said.
"Sorry about that Volt." Anna apologies in embarrasment.
"Dont worry about it." Volt assured.
"Anyway me and Volt are going in this forest cause it was where my Dad found him." Davis said.
"Well that's great. Mind if we come along?" Kari asked.
"Sure." Davis nodded.
After Kari went to the bus and told the driver she and Anna would go walking with a friend of theirs they went into the forest and started to walk around.
"This place is big." Anna mussed.
"You got that right. Almost like a mini jungle." Kari said.
"Anything jogging your memory Volt?" Davis asked.
"I can definatly feel my head pounding slightly, but that's it." Volt said.
As they continued walking Anna came across something that made her stop.
"Hey guys check this out." Davis, Kari, and Volt came towards Anna and looked at what she found and were stunned of what they saw.
Infront of them was a 40 size crater of nothing in the middle of trees.
"Now what made this?" Kari breathed.
"No idea." Davis mussed.
Volt walked inside the crater feeling something from it, when he reached the center he crouched down and touced the center with his right hand.
"I feel strange." Volt muttered.
Just then Volt got a massive headache making him grip on his head as he screamed in pain.
"Volt!" Anna shouted.
"What's wrong?!" Kari asked.
"What is it?!" Davis run up to Volt and grabbed his shoulders when he did Volt's body started glowing blue producing blue electricity and shocked Davis throwing him back falling to the ground at Kari and Anna's feet.
"Davis are you ok?" Kari asked kneeling down to him and help Davis sit up.
"Yeah but dont touch Volt he's super charged." Davis said.
"AAAAUGGH!" Volt screamed to the sky standing up griping his head harder.
"Volt!" Anna shouted really conerned for him.
Volt gave one more screamed and the blue electricity shot out like wildfire around him and shot up in the air blinding everyone and everything as Davis, Kari, and Anna covered their eyes. When it stopped they brought their arms down and saw Volt lying on his back knocked out.
They rushed towards Volt as Davis helped him sit up and he slowly regained conciousness.
"Volt are you ok?" Davis asked.
"Yeah I think so." Volt said getting on his feet.
"What happend?" Anna asked.
"And what was with that strange light?" Kari asked.
"I dont know." Volt said walking a few steps away from them til he stopped. "But I do know one thing." Volt turned around to face Davis, Kari, and Anna.
"I got my memory back." That surprised them all.
"Really?" Anna asked.
"You got it back?" Kari asked.
"Not all of it. Only about who I am before I came here." Volt said.
"So what do you remeber?" Davis asked.
"Back in the Digital World I was a social outcast, everyone made fun of me all because I kept blacking out after using a spell of mine. Everyone called me a weakling, a nobody, an outcast, I didn't have one friend there." Volt explained.
Davis and Kari were sadden hearing what Volt's life was like and Anna felt like a jerk of how she was one of them.
"But after taking so much of everyone's jabs I decided to do somthing about it. In secret I've always been sneaking off doing sever and powerful training to make myself stronger so I could not only not be weak but to defend those who could'nt. One day I decided to take my training to somewhere more dangerous that would give me just the boost I woud need."
"And where was that?" Davis asked.
"The Fortress of Death." Volt answered.
"You trained in the Fortress of Death?!" Anna exclaimed in complete shock.
"What's the Fortress of Death?" Kari asked.
"The Fortress of Death is an old fortress of war that's been said to hold some of the dangerous and insainly powerful Digimon. Only those who are sane enough and daring enough go there you either go in there and die from one of the Digimon or you come back out extremly strong then you ever have before." Anna explained as she shuddered from the stories she's been told.
"And it was all true it seems like the perfect place to make myself stronger. Fighting everyday for your life buidling your strength, speed, agility, and other senses, I was really surprised of how far I've gotten." Volt said.
"That would explain how you're so strong. I just cant believe you actually went into the Fortress of Death." Anna mussed crossing her arms.
"But I dont understand Volt. It's great we know about your past and what not but what about how you lost your memory?" Kari asked.
"I remember that really well Kari. When I came here to your world to participate in the competiton to decide the Digimon King I ended up here in this very forest where I stayed and befriended all the animals around here. At the time I forgot all about the competition all I cared about was living here and having fun in the forest. That was until that night happend."
"That night?" Davis asked.
"The night I lost my memory and my identity." Volt said.

It was night time in the forest and Volt was laying under roots of a tree dozing off to sleep with his book under his head.
"I could get use to this. Forget about the fight to become king." Volt sighed drifting off to slumber.
"So this is where you were hiding? Pathetic." Volt opened his eyes only to see a shadow figure standing infront of him and yellow eyes the next thing he knew he felt pain as he was getting beat up too fast and quickly to do anything, Volt then found himself on his back on the ground all bruised up and injured with his book beside him as the figure was above him.
"Hard to believe you're in this fight." The figure raised up his right hand targeting at Volt til it stopped. "No defeating you now and sending you back to the Digital World is'nt enough. No I want to do something far more devious. I know I'll wipe away your memory."
The put its right hand on Volt's face covering his left eye and when he came into view Volt was stunned to the core of what he was seeing, the figure turned out to look just like a Veemon but it was black with yellow eyes have a white v on his forehead. It was wearing a mantle like Volt's except it was purple with a blue jewel holding it on the collar, the figure had a evil smirk on his face as Volt looked deep into his eyes and saw a gold star formation forming in the pupil.
"It's like looking in a mirror." Volt thought.
The Volt look alike clutched hard on to Volt's face making him grunt in pain.
"You'll spend every waking moment having other Digimon attack you and you wont even know why." The Volt look alike said sounding male as the owner of his book behind him opened the book up as it glowed.
"Volker." The reader said.
The Volt look alike's hand produced black lightning and shocked Volt's entire body as he scream in extreme pain and his voice echoed out into the night forest as his look alike laughed evilly.

"The next day Jack found me with my memory lost and you guys know the rest." Volt said.
Davis, Kari, and Anna were shocked to hear how Volt lost his memory.
"Someone that looked exactly like Volt wiped his memory?" Kari asked.
"I dont understand only one Digimon of the same species are allowed to enter the fight to become the Digimon King, and I've never heard or seen subspecies of other Veemon. So what's that guy's story and why did he do that to Volt?" Anna wondered.
"The guy used Volker? That's Volt's spell so how does he have it too? And who is the guy that attacked Volt? Man just when we finally find answers they follow up with more questions." Davis groaned.
They were all brought out of there thought when the book in Davis' backpack started glowing very brightly, Davis pulled out the book and opened they looked to see a new spell appeared.
"A new spell?" Kari asked.
"I guess its cause Volt has his memory back." Anna said.
"What's it say." Volt asked excitedly.
"Let me see." Davis said reading it just as excited as Volt. "The seventh spell Zanen VolkerYA!" Davis flailed around throwing the book up and quickly closed it as everyone else freaked out too. "That was close, if I had read it it would've happend."
"No kidding! Knowing your destructive power who knows what it could've done!" Anna shouted.
"Hey my power is not that destructive Anna! Besides with it I save your catty butt!" Volt yelled.
"What?!" Anna growled and started chasing after Volt who yelled and screamed to save himself from Anna as Davis and Kari laughed at the two.

Away from the gang standing on top of the tree was the Volt look alike with his arms in his mantle blowing in the wind as he watched them from afar as he looked at Volt he smirked evilly.
"Soon Volt you will get what's comming to you. In time that is." And with that he vanished out of thin air chuckling darkly.
