A/N: Hope you guys enjoy!

Reid and Morgan sat on the couch, listening as Penelope rattled off directions to them about the game. "Everyone puts two fingers on the planchette," she explained. "All of our energies are needed to summon the spirits. Then we move the thingy in a circular motion like so."

She placed the planchette on the board and began moving it to demonstrate. "You have to go around the board a few times before the spirits are flowing enough to answer questions," Penelope said. "Then you wait to see if anyone is here with you."

"Are there any rules?" Reid asked. "Are any questions off limits with these…ghosts?"

"Nope," she replied. "The sprits know all and sometimes tell all."

Morgan stifled a laugh into his sleeve. Were they being serious right now? How could they actually believe that the dead could be brought back with a game? It had a Hasbro stamp, for Pete's sake. Why couldn't a genius like Reid see right through it?

But, as he'd explained earlier, he knew nothing about spirit boards or the like. "My mother was always terrified of them," he'd said. "She wouldn't even let me read books on the subject. She believed the knowledge was dangerous, so I never learned anything about it."

Which explained why Reid was so curious about Ouija. He'd probably asked a dozen questions and ran his hands over the board five times by now. The genius was absolutely enthralled with it.

"Can we get started now?" Morgan asked. "I wanna get whatever this is over with."

"C'mon Morgs, lighten up," Penelope said. "Aren't you on edge to see what ghosts we're going to find?"

"Not at all," he replied. "The dead is dead for a reason, Baby Girl. That's why you shouldn't go hunting for answers you don't need to know."

"Are you saying that you agree with Reid's mom on this?" she asked giggling. "Do you think the knowledge is dangerous?"

"I've heard a lot of horror stories," Morgan admitted. Then, seeing the look of victory on Penelope's face for scaring him, he added: "But I'm ready to play." There was no way in hell he wanted to look weak in front of his dream girl. A mean spirit? He could handle it for Penelope.

She couldn't help but grin. "Finally! Alright everyone touch the plachette and get ready."

Morgan and Reid moved to the floor by the coffee table with Penelope across from them. They each placed their hands on the planchette and moved it around the board in a clockwise motion.

They began to chant. "As friends we've gathered, our hearts are true. Spirits near, we call to you." Then: "Is there anyone here with us?"

They all sat waiting, watching the planchette as it would take life form at any moment. Reid was watching the most intently, waiting for something to elaborate on and add to his mental capacity.

Penelope had her lips pursed in anticipation. She kept moving her eyes toward the "yes" corner of the board, as if the planchette could read her mind or something. Maybe she's trying to levitate this thing, Derek reasoned. He had to admit though, she looked adorable tonight.

"If there are any ghosts in the room with us we'd like for you to come forward," Reid said. They circled the board again. "We have some questions for you."

Morgan had to stop the rolling of his eyes. As much as he loved Penelope, this game was pretty stupid. Nothing was happening! All they were doing was staring at a gold colored board with letters on it. They could be watching a movie, playing a better game, or practically anything else other than this.

Then the planchette started to move.

Penelope gave a little gasp and shriek, while Reid's entire body seemed to stiffen in fear. It was moving. The Ouija board was actually working.

Derek still didn't believe it when the pointer stopped on hello. "Very funny you two," he said. "Who's moving it?"

"Not me," Reid squeaked. The young genius was actually terrified. "I can't believe these things are real. This isn't logical. This can't be right…"

"Not everything is logical Reid," Penelope said. Then: "Would you like to tell us your name, kind spirit?"

Nothing happened. "Maybe there's some type of magnet you have to activate for it to move," Reid reasoned. "The planchette would have one too I suppose, but wouldn't they repel one another?"

Penelope and Derek both shushed him, though for different reasons. She was trying to entice a spirit to come play with them, and Derek, well, he just wanted to sit in silence. Reid's ramblings were hard enough to sit through about real things.

"Is there anything you would like us to do?" she asked. "Are there enough candles lit? Would you like us to be completely silent? We want you to feel comfortable speaking with us."

Derek was about to pipe up with, Baby I don't think it works that way, but the planchette started to move again before he could speak.

It went to the R.

Then the U.

And finally to the N.

"Run?" Penelope asked in confusion. "You want us to run?"

The planchette practically flew up to the yes. They all looked at each other in bewilderment before jumping up. As soon as they did, the Ouija board picked itself up and slammed against the wall.

"RUN!" Penelope screamed and took off flying for the door. Derek and Reid were right on her heels, both of them completely freaked out by what was going on. This cannot be happening, Derek told himself. It has to be a prank. One big practical joke.

Trying to control his breathing, he looked to see what the holdup was. It seemed that Penelope couldn't get the door to the hallway open.

"What's wrong, Baby?" Derek asked in panic. He could feel a major freakout coming on. How was he supposed to protect them from something that was already dead?

"The knob won't turn!" she cried. "It's stuck!"

Derek pushed Reid out of the way, swearing under his breath. "Dammit Penelope!" he yelled. "We're all going to die because of you!"

"Derek, I'm sorry!" she cried. "I didn't know it would be this bad! We'll get out of this unscathed, I promise..."

Then the lights went out.
