"Karkat!? Karkat!" I scream over and over again as I stare at his lifeless body in my arms. This can't be happening.
There's blood all over the walls and his and my clothes but at this point I don't care. I just want this to end. I can't believe I couldn't save him.
I hear Gamzee laugh maniacally. It sends shivers down my spine.
"This is what motherfuckin' happens when people mess with my things! See you all up and got him killed!" he turns his evil glare toward me. "So now I'll fucking kill you" he charges forward and all I can do is stare as I wait for my death to come.
I bolt straight up on the couch panting. There's sweat dripping down my face but right now I couldn't care less about it.
I can feel the sense of danger in my bones. The fear is coursing through my veins. The fear of not knowing. Not knowing what's going to happen to me...more importantly what's going to happen to Karkat.
I recall the dream I just had and know deep down that I'll probably die trying to save him. It's inevitable. One of us will die I know that for sure. I can only hope that it's me and not him. He's been through too much already. I vow right then that I'll die for him. No matter what happens he has to survive but first I need to find him. This is the hard part because I have no clue what's going through his head or where he planned to go once he left here. All I know is that I need to find him before Gamzee.
