Warning: Smut!
The heated air lay thick with the scent of her arousal. The temperature in the room had seamlessly soared to burning heights, causing even more sweat to glisten along her bare skin.
Blonde, tousled curls were in disarray when she threw her head back in ecstasy, using no effort to suppress her moans of pleasure. Caroline had no recollection of how she had gotten here, but she had no intention of ending this torturous euphoria.
Although, she didn't even need to open her eyes to know the source of her intoxicating state. She had dreamt of those large, callous hands palming her pert breasts, and that sinfully delicious, scorching tongue that would submerge itself into her soaking entrance, enough to recognize his touch.
Even in her dreams, no other man could ever compare to how expertly he could ravish her body. She had felt immense guilt when she was with Tyler, allowing another man to invade her dreams, but now, now she felt remorse for reveling in his enticing ministrations. For clasping her smooth thighs even tighter around his broad shoulders and gnarling her fingers even deeper into his messy, dirty blonde curls.
She ignored how wrong the truth was and succumbed to those dark desires that she resented so deeply. In that moment, she didn't care about being morally correct; all that mattered was her release, and boy was he doing a hell of a job at it.
Her back arched off the bed. The feeling of his sharp stubble graze her inner thigh sent even more heat straight to her core.
She tilted her head down, desperate for the erotic sight of him laid at her feet, his face buried between her legs, eating her out while his dexterous hands tormented her erect nipples. She cursed how easily he had her mewling his name shamelessly, but relished it simultaneously.
Thank God for one thousand years of practice, because she was certain no other being could bring her to the heights he always delivered.
Klaus smirked against her sopping slit, running his devilish tongue through her slick folds. He couldn't get enough of the sweet juices filling his mouth or the unspoken way she begged for more. Every tug of a curl, every groan, every time she would shift on the bed only caused his shaft to grow even stiffer.
His rough hands massaged her plump breasts, enjoying the way her soft flesh fit into his hands. Shifting his attention to her taut nipples, his fingers pinched and twisted her taut peaks, drawing a sharp moan from her already bruised lips.
"Klaus," she gasped, as he vigorously lapped his strong tongue at the drenched juncture between her legs, and then abruptly penetrated her with his tongue. Thrusting in and out of her, he attempted to push his tongue as deep as he could within her. Instinctively, Caroline brought his head even closer to her opening. She couldn't get enough of that talented, smug mouth of his. It felt like it was created by the Gods to worship her, and she would prolong this torment for as long as she could.
Her hips bucked with every thrust of his tongue; while he brought one hand down to pinch her clit. As he continued to drive his tongue in and out of her, she fucked his mouth fervently, approaching her climax. She wasn't certain if she should be thankful that his mouth was preoccupied this entire time, because she knew that one accented word from that wicked mouth of his, and she would have come undone a long time ago.
She fucked his mouth like no other man had ever ravished her before, until she cried out, intense waves of pleasure shooting through her damp body. Her juices came flooding out and Klaus hungrily feasted on the remnants of her orgasm, licking her clean before bringing himself up to crush his lips against hers.
Feeling his tongue penetrate her lips, she blithely allowed him to invade her mouth, desperate to take in every inch of his mouth. She could taste herself coating his entire tongue and she couldn't be more aroused. It was as if she had marked his mouth as her territory; it was hers and no one could change that. But she needed more. She wanted his entire body to be hers.
Caroline dug her nails into his scalp, pushing his face so close to hers their ardent kisses were a mixture of pain and pleasure. Arching her back, her body molded exactly into his as she searched for as much skin contact as possible.
When he tried to pull away, she bit her blunt teeth down onto his red lower lip, drawing his delectable blood from her cut.
Klaus growled, harshly reattaching his lips to hers. "For someone who claims she doesn't want me, she certainly seems desperate for my mouth."
"This is a dream." Caroline tightly coiled her limbs around his hard body. "I can do whatever the hell I want."
"And what do you want, sweetheart?"
She flipped them over, her hand firmly planted on Klaus's throat while she straddled him. Leaning her head down, her fangs protruded as her eyes glowed crimson. She hissed in his face, drawing out his own hybrid features. "I want to ride you until you can't take it anymore."
She emulated the enormous, dirty smirk on his lips, and they both assaulted each other's mouths, devouring the other's taste. Klaus helped her readjust her position on him, gripping her by the ass to place her wet entrance at his rock solid tip.
He pressed his fingers into her ass hard enough to bruise her, as he anticipated her next move.
Caroline reluctantly released her tight grip on Klaus's throat, resting her hands on the pitch black headboard behind him. He looked up at her like he was about to make love to a goddess. With her naked breasts hanging in front of his face, he licked his lips, entranced by the sight of them. Her cheeks burned from the look of adoration in his eyes and from the power she absorbed.
She was in the big bad hybrid's bed, stripped bare, fresh from having an orgasm from him, yet she had never felt more in control in her life. Now she couldn't think of anything hotter than riding him until the bed shattered beneath them.
Her eyes fell down to his massive erection, admiring how hard and thick he was for her. His tip was already soaked as it teased her sopping folds. Her tongue fell out of her mouth while she thought about the filthy things his dick was capable of, in her previous dreams, at least...
"Enjoying the view, love?" Klaus teased.
Caroline rolled her eyes at the arrogant tone in his voice. She kept her eyes locked on his hypnotized blue ones as she impaled herself onto him.
She sighed in relief, the feeling of his length inside her pushing her closer to the release she urgently needed. Lifting her hips, she almost withdrew herself from him before slamming her hips down; taking more of him in each time she came back down.
Klaus thrust his hips up, burying himself deeper and deeper into her, groaning as he felt her muscles tighten around his cock. Her fluids coated him in hot liquid, trying to suck him in further every time he pushed back into her.
She loved the feeling of him inside her, like she had never been filled this complete before. She flashed back to the memory of Klaus standing in front of her in that green towel, resting just below his hips and how easily she could have just stripped him then and there.
She shook the memory from her mind and focused on the present.
Caroline rolled her hips as Klaus jerked his hips up, driving up into her, until he was buried at the hilt and began to build her orgasm. She moaned at the feeling of Klaus roughly moving against her. It felt so good that she didn't want it to end. Bouncing in his lap, her breasts emulated her movement. Klaus gave in to the temptation of the tantalizing mounds, popping one into his mouth, while one hand squeezed and teased the other.
The blonde let a satisfied sigh escape her throat, letting her head fall back. Klaus wreaked havoc on her breast, using that salacious mouth of his to set her nerves ablaze by swirling his tongue around her hardened peaks and nipping the sensitive bud. His strong hand kneaded her breast like it belonged to him, like the pleasure was only reserved for her.
"I wanna see you come, Klaus," she groaned, anxiously.
He ceased his ministrations on her breasts and reached out to caress her cheek, bringing her intimately close to his face. "Come with me."
Her breath caught in her throat when she recognized the affection in his softened eyes. She could feel her heart accelerate. Even in a dream, she never meant for this to turn into anything more than lust. Despite the trepidation in her heart, she found herself nodding to his suggestion.
Klaus sat up, pressing his hot chest up against hers. Slowly pulling out halfway, he slammed back into her with such control and gradual movement it was agonizing.
Their noses brushed against each other as they gazed into each other's eyes. Caroline knew she was treading dangerous waters, but she couldn't tear herself away from his intense stare. Besides, it was a dream, she wasn't hurting anyone.
She continued to rock her hips into his, increasing her speed as he did. Once they reached the point where the two of them thought they would explode, they thrust their hips as hard as they could, finally letting go at the same time as if they could read each other's mind.
Caroline's body trembled as her second orgasm crashed into her. Her nails dug into Klaus's back and he fell back onto the bed, letting her limp body rest on his chest.
With her ear pressed to his chest, she listened to his erratic heartbeat slowly return to normal while her own followed suit. Laying there with him felt so peaceful, like the many other times he entered her dreams. She still found it unfathomable at how much comfort she could find in such a dangerous man, yet knowing how potentially lethal he is only increased her curiosity.
A wide smile had been etched on her face ever since she found him between her legs, and now lying in his arms only made her face brighten. Her fingers began mindlessly drawing random patterns across his toned chest. "So… what do you wanna do no-"
Caroline had tilted her head up to beam up at his familiar blue eyes, but was met by dark, malicious green ones.
She screamed in terror, throwing herself off of him and grabbing the blanket to shield her naked flesh from him. "No! You can't be here. You're not… I didn't… You-"
He sat there on the bed, dressed in the exact same attire she had last seen him in, with an even more jovial smile than before. His arms were folded across his chest, flashing Caroline a look of shock and approval. "My, my, Caroline. Haven't you been a naughty girl?"
Having wrapped the blanket securely around her body, she reached for the nearest lamp and flung it at his head. Unfortunately, he reappeared right behind her, causing her to violently whip her body around in his direction, fuming.
"I have to say, I had no idea you had quite the imagination," he chuckled. "Does Klaus know?"
"You gave me that dream, you pervert!" Caroline pointed an angry finger at him.
"You wanted that dream. I just gave you a little shove in the right direction," he clarified. "And boy did you want it. In fact, I would've almost been jealous if I wasn't a brunette man, myself." The vampire raised a hand to strike him, but he caught her wrist. "Tread carefully, Caroline. I may not physically be able to harm you, but I can make purgatory look like a safe haven compared to your dreams."
Caroline gulped, snapping her arm away from his grasp. Cautiously taking a step back from him, she attempted to fling herself out the open window. She needed to wake up now, and if movies had taught her anything, it was that dying in a dream would usually snap you back to reality.
Unfortunately, even for a guy who laid dormant for two millenniums, it was too predictable. He grabbed her by the waist, bringing her back into the room.
"Let me go, you son of a bitch!" Caroline squirmed in his arms. "I swear to God, Silas-"
Silas's hand clamped onto Caroline's jaw as if he were about to crush it. "Let me tell you what's going to happen, you little, blonde bitch. You're going to bring Katherine Pierce to Mystic Falls, or else Stefan Salvatore will be the next one to die. Oh, and if that's not enough to convince you to come home, when I show up in New Orleans, I'll be leaving with a doppelganger and an Original Hybrid, and any other Original that gets in my way."
Caroline sprang up in bed, finding herself covered in sweat and blonde hair sticking to her forehead. Her nose immediately filled with the scent of the evidence of her arousal from the better half of her dream.
Her heart pounded against her chest when flashes of the dream raced through her mind. Throwing her head into her hands, she groaned at the sick feeling Silas left her with. She couldn't choose, she shouldn't have to choose.
Why couldn't he just come after her?
She could take the pain; she could hold out.
She had no idea what she was supposed to do. Damon said he had a plan- which are always horrible, so she must've been buzzed when she agreed to it.
Caroline released a heavy sigh. She would not give in to that creep's demands. There's a way out, there has to be. She had three Original vampires on her side, which meant she had all the ammo she needs. All she needs to do is learn how to wield the weapon.
Caroline Forbes is a leader. She's been leading people her entire life, and this was the ultimate test. She didn't have to play back up to the Salvatore's anymore. It was her turn to save everyone and she wouldn't stop until every last one of them was safe.
Throwing the thin blanket off her body, she made her way over to the ivory curtains in her room, shoving them open to let the sun shine through.
The blonde's ears twitched when she heard a sharp hiss emit from her closet.
Using her vampire speed, her back silently pressed against the wall beside the door to her closet. She focused her hearing intently and heard a faint heart beat from the other side. She hesitated for a moment though, knowing that Katherine's room was adjacent to hers.
Caroline appeared in the closet, clasping a strong hand around his windpipe just as he did to her. She struggled to breath under the tan-skinned vampire's hold, digging her nails into his delicate skin until she punctured several veins, causing him to bleed out.
The unknown vampire screamed in anguish, loosening his grip enough for her to head butt him. He lost his balance, letting his head knock against the wall as well.
Caroline bared her fangs as she threw him into the expensive dresser. Battering him with harsh punts to the ribs, the vampire tackled her to the floor.
For the first time in months, Klaus was able to get a good night sleep. Maybe it was the knowledge that his greatest obstacle in conquering New Orleans had been put down, or knowing Caroline was just within arm's reach.
Considering that his dreams that night were enveloped with the latter, he had his suspicions. She would lay beneath him under the covers, giggling as he placed chaste kisses on those enticing, pink lips of hers, gradually making his way to hot, hungry kisses that devoured her mouth.
She would look up from hooded eyes into his own and her normally bright blue eyes would cloud with lust for one person and one person only.
Her small, wet tongue would glide across her lascivious lower lip, teasing him; trying to drive him mad.
She would spread her legs wide for him, begging to be dominated by him.
Caroline would moan his name in ecstasy, causing his already hard erection to stiffen even more as it stabbed against her inner thigh. Her body would react with pleasure while his callous hands roamed every smooth and soaking inch of her.
He worshiped her the entire night like no man, woman, or being could ever even fantasize about.
Klaus's eyes snapped open when he heard a loud crash come from a few doors down. He had heard that feminine groan enough times to memorize it.
Caroline.
Caroline was in trouble.
Klaus all but knocked Caroline's door off it's hinges, and then spotted Caroline trying to hold off the vampire on top of her, who clearly intended to rip her heart out.
His blood boiled at the thought of anyone trying to harm Caroline. It was his fault they were after her, not hers. His face burned a furious red, his blue eyes glowed yellow, and his hybrid fangs elongated to dangerous lengths.
Klaus roared, shoving the vampire off Caroline so hard, the vampire's head was immediately decapitated the second he hit the creamy white walls of the room. Blood splayed across all four walls and stained the navy cotton sheets as well.
The hybrid immediately knelt down to Caroline's side, carefully examining her for any damage while his hands gently rested on her shoulders. "Did he hurt you at all-?"
"No," she assured him.
"You're certain?"
"Klaus." She offered him an appreciative smile. "Thank you for... that." Her eyes shifted over to the mutilated body behind her. "And for your concern. I may not have lived for a century, but I can still take care of myself."
Klaus felt a proud smile cross his face. "You're right." He offered her his hand and gave her petite hand a gentle squeeze as he pulled her back to her feet. His eyes spotted the small puddle of blood that he didn't remember spilling, in front of the dresser. The patch of blood clearly outlined the shape of the victim, and Klaus already knew from common sense that that was the outline of a man's body.
He swiftly turned on his heel to greet her with his trademark smirk and those irritatingly arrogant raised eyebrows.
"Don't even start," she warned.
"How exactly did you get Marcel's lackey to bleed out half his breakfast?" he pried, curiously.
Caroline's eyes flicked up to his mischievous ones. "Klaus, if you're using masochism as a new way of flirting-"
"Caroline." Klaus did his best to give her his sternest tone. "Tell me what happened."
She sighed. "Some guy was in my closet like some peeping tom, so I threw him out and kicked the crap out of him. He got the jump on me when I relaxed for a split second."
"We're going to work on that," Klaus muttered to himself. "But for now we're leaving."
"Wait, work on what?" Caroline questioned, as he gently led her out the door.
Klaus was cut off when they heard several screams and more broken furniture, indicating to the two of them that Elijah had returned. He was not happy. Neither was Katherine nor Rebekah. It seemed they had more 'visitors'.
"Stay behind me," Klaus ordered, taking a defensive stance in front of her.
Katherine was crouched down on the kitchen floor, with her back pressed flat against the beige wall, adjacent to the entrance to the living room. She held a large, steel kitchen knife parallel to her body. Attempting to silence her breathing, she prayed that no unwanted faces would enter.
She could hear Rebekah and Elijah out in the living room breaking bones and tearing out hearts. Since she came downstairs for breakfast, she didn't have time to register that Elijah had returned, when several vampires ambushed them in their own home. She hadn't even seen that handsome face that brought her more joy than she'd like to admit. Only his deep voice rang through her ears as she listened to the chaos ensue in the next room.
Her entire body locked when the other kitchen door was recklessly kicked open. A vampire with fresh blood running down his sharp fangs smirked down at her. He cautiously neared her, not because he was afraid, but because he didn't want to scare off his meal.
Katherine slowly slid back up to her feet, tightening her grip on the blade in her hand. "Rebekah!"
The vampire pounced on her, his eyes staring directly at the vein in her neck. He was stopped short after Katherine stabbed the sharp knife straight into his chest.
She felt chills run down her spine as his lethal fangs hovered over the nape of her neck. His hot breath felt disgusting ghosting over her skin. All she wanted to do was plunge her hand into the creep's chest and watch him beg for his life, but she couldn't, because she's human and humans are too fucking weak to even protect themselves.
The vampire yanked the knife out of his chest, dropping it to the floor, beside him, with a clang. With an evil grin placed back on his face, he lunged for her neck as she screamed.
Just before his fangs could pierce through her skin, the vampire was tossed through a glass window, his head landing at least a mile away from his body.
Katherine gaped at the man who had saved her. She was typically one who expressed her mind freely, and though she would write endless essays on the questions and images that were going through her head, nothing came out.
"Katerina…" Elijah said, breathlessly. When he had heard her voice, he assumed that it was just his imagination. Now here she stood right in front of him, looking just as beautiful as she did when he knew in his heart that he was giving up the only chance of him truly being happy. The feeling of heart break came flooding back the second her familiar voice filled his ears.
"Elijah." She stared at him long and hard, willing herself not to break down in front of him. She hated him, loathed him for leaving her, for disappearing when she needed him the most, for allowing her to love him and not return her feelings.
Striking him across the cheek, his head snapped to the side while she tried to blink away the tears threatening to form in her eyes.
Elijah ignored the sting of his burning cheek and stared back at Katherine speechless. "I understand how angry you must be with me, but you cannot be here, Katerina. I left you for a reason. If Niklaus finds you here, he will-"
"Kill me?" Katherine snickered. "It just so happens that Klaus knows I'm here. In fact, he granted me his pardon. A task you obviously weren't passionate enough to accomplish." She tried to brush past him, but he held onto her shoulder, confused.
"First of all, I resent that accusation that my love was not fervent enough to fight for your freedom. I would have given my left arm if that had pleased you. Second, Niklaus pardoned you? What would he have to gain from that?"
Katherine tried to brush off his thoughtful words, but they continued to ring in her ears. "Oh, I don't know…" Katherine twirled a spiral curl around her finger, innocently. "Maybe it has something to do with blonde curls, an irritatingly, perky personality, and I'm assuming very good sex."
Elijah furrowed his eyebrows, looking at Katherine like she'd just listed the materials he needed to clean manure. "I beg your pardon?"
Katherine rolled her eyes. "He wants to get laid by Caroline Forbes."
"Caroline Forbes?"
"One of Elena's little friends. The blonde one who seems to walk on sunshine," Katherine clarified.
Elijah raised his brows in shock. "Niklaus is interested in Caroline Forbes?! That doesn't sound like him. Niklaus doesn't get interested; women get interested in him."
Rebekah burst through the kitchen door, warm blood dripping down both her hands. "As much as I hate to break up this reunion, I hate these vampires even more, and wish to get as far away from them as possible. We're going to find Nik and Caroline and leave."
"Why didn't you tell me Katerina was here?" Elijah asked his sister.
"I didn't want to interrupt your beauty sleep," Rebekah retorted. "Now come on."
Klaus viciously decapitated any vampire that made the mistake of trespassing on his property. Blood splattered the top half of the front of his shirt, not that he cared. All that mattered was getting Caroline and his siblings out of here, as fast as possible.
When they entered the living room, it was palpable that his siblings had taken care of most of the ones that slipped into the living room. Carnage splayed all around the living room, decorated with missing limbs and enough blood to last a month without feeding. It was a good thing they were moving, because even compelling humans to clean up that mess would be a chore.
"Nik!" Rebekah called, entering the living room, with Katherine and Elijah trailing behind. "We're leaving this house and you're coming with, even if I have to shove wolfsbane down your throat-"
"Though your endearing threats are appreciated, Rebekah, they're not necessary," Klaus informed her. "I've agreed to join you."
"Oh." She was not expecting that. Her eyes darted back and forth between Caroline and her brother. She didn't even need to ask to know the reason behind his sudden change of heart. It didn't exactly thrill her to know Caroline was the one to change his mind. Nonetheless, all she cared about was her brother coming to his senses. "At least you're thinking clearly now."
Klaus reached into his pocket and tossed Rebekah the keys to his SUV. "Start the car. Take Caroline and Katerina with you."
Caroline turned to Klaus, confusion written on her face. "What are you doing? I thought we talked about this."
Klaus sighed. "I'm going to make certain we're not followed."
She reluctantly nodded and pulled Katherine with her, heading in the direction Rebekah left.
Katherine couldn't stop herself from letting her stare linger, as Elijah captures her eyes while Caroline dragged her away.
Elijah placed a hand on Klaus's chest. "What did you do?"
"If you must know, I've pillaged villages, tortured, mauled, mutilated-"
"What have you done in the last twenty four hours, Niklaus?" Elijah snapped.
"Now is not the time, Elijah." Klaus stepped around him, heading for the stairs. "You can either choose to help me kill the rest of these vampires, or you can wait in the car."
Elijah pursed his lips, irritated by his brother's supercilious attitude. Trudging in the direction Klaus left, he decided it was best not to give Klaus an all-day pass to cause destruction on his own.
Caroline anxiously fidgeted in her seat, strapped underneath her seatbelt. With every loud crash that emitted from the mansion, her teeth sunk deeper into her pink lower lip. She hated sitting here, waiting for him to come out and fulfill his earlier claims. Although, she wasn't entirely sure being around Klaus was the best option right now. Not after that incredibly vivid and intimate dream sequence, which was entirely Silas's fault.
Just thinking about touching Klaus again made her shiver. It was just a sick dream that Silas had used to mess with her. Besides, it wasn't like it was the first time she had ever had that kind of dream about him, then again, it had never felt like that before either.
"I can't sit here any longer," Caroline shouted. She would drive herself mad trying to wrack her brain on whether she should march back in there and help dispose of any other intruder, or if running to China would conceal her from both Silas and Klaus.
"Why? Do you miss your lover?" Katherine teased.
"Katherine," Caroline warned, shooting daggers through her eyes.
"Are we really gonna do this dance again?" Katherine drawled. "Give it up, Caroline. I mean, I heard him fucking you last night for Christ sake."
Both Caroline's and Rebekah's jaws dropped and eyes widened at Katherine's revelation.
Caroline's cheeks turned bright red, imagining all the humiliating sounds and words she could have uttered under Silas's influence. If Katherine heard, then... she prayed to God that Klaus was a heavy sleeper.
Rebekah grimaced at the horrific image implanted into her brain. Un-bloody-believable. She didn't think the good, little vampire had it in her, but she was wrong. She could tell by the way that Caroline was burning up like a ripe tomato; Katherine was not exaggerating in the slightest.
The blonde vampire opened her mouth to torment the seething one until two doors swung open, and her brother's slid inside. Elijah took shotgun while Klaus seated himself beside Caroline. Rebekah immediately noticed Caroline's discomfort in being so close to Klaus and watched her significantly increase the distance from the hybrid, pressing herself against Katherine. "So, Nik, I trust you slept well last night?"
Klaus furrowed his brows in confusion. "As a matter of fact, I did. Why do you ask-"
"Rebekah!" Caroline interrupted, "would you please just drive? I'm no expert, but I have a feeling that blood will be a lot harder to clean off the windshield than water."
She relented. "I need a destination first."
"Georgia," Klaus ordered.
Rebekah and Elijah stared at Klaus as if they were having a telepathic conversation, and he nodded to him.
Katherine and Caroline looked at each other before returning their gazes to the Originals.
Caroline turned to Klaus. "What's in Georgia?"
"Answers."
Caroline slumped in her seat with her arms folded across her chest. She was so frustrated she could kick the back of Rebekah's seat.
Klaus refused to spill any details of his plan when they get to Georgia. Usually, she would've been able to map out said person's entire dating history on a very organized excel document, but she couldn't, not with Klaus.
Every time she pressed him for more information he would change the subject, moving closer to her, questioning her about what she could remember before she went to sleep, while she was asleep, and everything afterwards.
There was no way in hell she could fully answer those questions without curling up into a ball and flushing red from humiliation, and that was so not happening.
Now she was practically pushing Katherine's cheek up against the window from leaning so close to her. Just the thought of her skin coming in contact with Klaus's made her fidget.
Katherine turned to Caroline with narrowed eyes. "As much as I love our bonding moments, Caroline, I swear to God, I will claw your eyes out until I'm either dead, or someone physically removes you from me."
Caroline gaped at her, offended. "Is that the thanks I get for saving your life, how many times now? Ingrate."
"Well, actually, by turning you into a vampire, I gave you an eternity of youth, which is the equivalent to an infinite amount of lives. So when you've sufficiently given me an infinite amount of lives, then we'll talk about who's being ungrateful," Katherine quipped. "Besides, Klaus has all that room over there, all by his lonesome self. Don't you think you should be reunited with your other half?"
Caroline gritted her teeth, feeling the urge to slap that amused look off Katherine's face. Her eye quickly darted to the corner, where she spotted Klaus's lips forming into a wide grin. "Well, I thought that Klaus and his ego needed a bit more room."
"There will always be more than enough room for you, love," he smirked even further.
"Great... but I'll pass."
"Are you sure? I believe both of you would feel more comfortable if you moved closer."
Katherine's eyes lit up at the thought. "That sounds like a grea-"
"We're good, thanks!" Caroline feigned a smile.
"Who's we?" Katherine snapped. "I don't know about you, Blondie, but I'm human, which means that if Katherine don't get no air, Katherine die. And Katherine no want to die."
"Oh, shut up, already!" Rebekah yelled, pulling the keys out of the ignition.
"What are you doing?" Caroline and Katherine asked in unison.
"I don't know who you think I am, but I'll tell you who I'm not: a twenty-four/seven chauffeur." Rebekah swung her door open and waited for the others to pile out of the car. "Somehow the human is hungry again, despite having nearly cleared out the food pantry before we left. We can feed it in the diner while we come up with a plan to destroy the first immortal being to ever walk this Earth."
The others nodded and trudged in the direction of the small, white diner.
Once they were inside, Elijah grabbed Katherine by the arm and slid her into a table with him.
"What the hell are you doing?" she snapped.
"We need to talk," Elijah informed her austerely.
"Ohhh. I see, you need to talk. Now all of a sudden I have to drop everything because you need something. I don't think so. Your needs aren't my problem anymore, Elijah."
"You knew I had my reasons for leaving."
"Yeah, and they were shitty reasons. You had a choice, Elijah, and you chose wrong." Katherine flicked her eyes in the other direction, refusing to look him in the eye. "I'm human, right now... and I don't know if I can ever be a vampire again." Her voice cracked.
"Katerina, if I had known, I never would have-"
"IF YOU HADN'T LEFT..." Katherine let her face fall into her hand. She wouldn't cry in front of him, wouldn't let him know how deep the wounds he left in her heart ran. "Just go away, Elijah." She held her breath, waiting to feel the seat shift when he left. However, she was caught by surprise when she felt Elijah's strong arms wrapping around her. He held her so tight she couldn't fight him off, but she didn't want to either. She didn't know if she could forgive him, or herself, but just being in his arms sent that familiar feeling running through her: home.
Rebekah left to go get the closest thing she could find to liquor while Klaus painfully talked Caroline into sharing a table with him.
"Are you feeling alright?" Klaus asked.
"Fine. I told you, I can handle myself. That vampire didn't hurt me."
"I wasn't referring to that."
"Then what were you referring to?"
"You're acting strange," Klaus stated.
"What? No, I'm not. You're acting strange," Caroline countered.
Klaus rolled his eyes. "Is this about last night?"
"What?" Caroline could feel her heart begin to pound against her chest. It felt like the temperature in the room had risen three hundred degrees. Beads of sweat began to form on the back of her neck as she remembered the dream that she couldn't stop seeing. Does this mean that... did he...? "Wh-what do you mean by... last night?"
"I think we both know what I mean." Klaus flashed her a devilish smile.
Caroline gasped. "Wait... so... you heard... everything?"
"Well, it's difficult not to hear everything when you were there."
"You were there? As in you were in the room?" Caroline slowly said the words, like she was about to vomit.
"Yes?" Klaus answered, confused. "Were you not aware of yourself when this happened?"
Caroline had to physically stop herself from having a breakdown. "I was conscious- or- I was sleepwalking?!" Caroline frantically buried her hands in her scalp, wanting to tear her hair out.
"What?"
"What?"
"What are you talking about?" Klaus questioned, suspiciously.
"I don't know. What are you talking about?"
"The conversation we had in the woods last night. What are you talking?"
Caroline raised her eyebrows ecstatically. "The woods, of course! Yeah... same page! Okay, yeah, great!" She was so relieved she started giggling from relief.
"You're certain?"
"Wha- well, of course. I mean, what else would I be talking about?" She forced a laugh. "Anyways, it's your turn. Spill. Why are we in Georgia?"
Klaus stared at her for a moment before he decided to save this conversation for another time. "Caroline, you should know that taking down an immortal being like Silas will not be a picnic. If you want to live, I need to know that you'll be willing to get your hands a little dirty."
"I'll do it." Caroline nodded. "It's not just Bonnie who's life is on the line now. It's all of us... I didn't tell you before, but he threatened Stefan." She slowly lifted her eyes to meet his concerned, blue ones.
"When?"
"Last night."
"You saw Silas last night?!" Klaus growled. His hand formed a powerful fist that could have crushed ten human skulls at once.
"In a dream..." Chills ran down Caroline's spine at the memory. "More like a nightmare."
"Why didn't you say anything before?" Klaus's face hardened even more.
"I didn't exactly have the time." She shrugged.
"You had more than enough time to speak up in the car when I asked you what happened last night," Klaus scolded her.
"Look, I was still recovering from shock. Give me a break, alright?" Caroline slid out of the table and nearly ran into Rebekah who was returning with a mimosa. "Can we stop wasting time here and begin destroying the current greatest thorn in my side?"
"Someone's in a rush," Rebekah quipped.
"Rebekah," Caroline insisted.
The blonde Original smiled. "You're in luck. I had an interesting chat with one of the lovely bus boys here. They're quite the chatty Kathy's, you know. Apparently, we're not the first ones to arrive in this town with an interest in the immortals."
"How does this help us? It could easily be one of Silas's followers." Caroline pointed out.
"Whether they are or are not became irrelevant the second we stepped foot into town," Klaus claimed. "Did you know applying enough pain on a victim can confuse them enough into thinking you're allies when you are their greatest foe?"
Caroline's eyes widened looking back and forth at the powerful vampires.
Rebekah grinned wickedly at her brother. "And unfortunately for them, the bus boy was more than happy to spill their address.

And um uh. It looks like there's a little something something going on between Klaus and Caroline *gasp* I wonder where that's headed... LOL
And I hope you guys appreciated the smut-not actual smut that happened in this chapter!
Let me know what you guys thought. Any predictions or anything you'd like to see ;)
