A/N: If anyone was curious, dog training class went awful. Two of the other dogs decided to fight each other. Luckily, my dog Olaf didn't participate in the brawl and neither dogs were hurt.

Thank you Amanda (guest) for helping me with Ponyboy's recovery.

Ponyboy's POV

Darry was bringing me some Gatorade to drink. I couldn't go home until I kept something down. So far, it hasn't worked out very well in my favor. I'm really dizzy and when I try to eat I just throw it up.

Darry and Soda walked in and handed me the Gatorade. I took a slow tentative sip before setting it down.

Just a few seconds later I started to feel sick. I whimpered slightly, not wanting to throw up again.

"It's okay, Ponyboy, it will make you feel better." Soda told me gently.

He grabbed the pan just as I stated to gag. Darry rubbed my back until I finally stopped. I couldn't help but let a few tears slip down my cheeks while I was throwing up, I hated to throw up. But, then again, who did?

I was relived that I didn't dry heave like last time I tried to eat a blue Popsicle.

My annoying hospital gown was clinging to my sweaty skin as I flopped back onto the bed, exhausted. The nurse came in and checked my vitals. She sighed when she saw I had thrown up again.

"Don't worry, Ponyboy, it'll pass. Do you need more pain medicine?" She asked kindly.

"Not yet ma'am." I croaked at her in a hoarse whisper. She smiled and left. A few of the bracelets that were dangling on her wrists clashed together and made a ringing sound as she walked out of the room.

My stomach started to churn unpleasantly and Darry noticed. He grabbed the dirty pan as bile rushed up my throat. It was all stomach acid and it burned something awful. I whimpered as I started to dry heave. I was gagging and choking but I heard Soda's voice try to calm me down.

"You got to breathe through it, Pone. Don't fight it. You'll feel better in a minute." I complied until it pasted and I almost immediately fell asleep when I laid my heavy head against the hospital's uncomfortable pillows.

Darry's POV

He had been here a while and still hasn't kept anything down. I felt bad pushing him and making him throw up, but I knew he really wanted to get out if here as soon as possible.

Those thoughts were running through my head as he dry heaved while I rubbed his back, I hoped, comfortingly.

As soon as he finished getting sick, he flopped back onto the bed, sweaty and exhausted. He almost immediately fell asleep.

Soda's POV

Third times the charm? I gave Ponyboy a pudding, hoping it would stay down.

He ate a few bites before setting it down, holding his stomach tightly, but he never throwing up. I grabbed the pudding and ate the rest, lying to the nurse and Darry, saying that Ponyboy was the one who ate it.

It worked until we got in the car.

"Ponyboy, did you really eat all that pudding without puking?" Ponyboy, who was half asleep and didn't know I lied, shook his head. Darry looked at me sternly.

"He ate a few bites without puking." I tried. Darry shook his head.

"Don't do it again, okay little buddy?" He told me. I nodded, glad I wasn't getting a huge lecture.

I looked next to me and saw Ponyboy out like a light. We were almost home so I shook him awake. He groaned, rolling over.

"Five more minutes, Dar." He mumbled. I laughed softly.

"Sorry, not Darry, it Soda. We are home." I told him. When I said "home" he seemed to wake up more.

He tried to get out of his seat and into the house, but he was too dizzy and wobbled a bit. I grabbed his arms and led him into the house. He flopped peacefully onto our bed and fell asleep almost on contact. I smiled, turning off the light and leaving the room.

I watched TV with Darry until a blood curtailing scream rang out from Ponyboy and I's room and ring throughout the house. I got up and ran into our room.

I shook him lightly and Hagen be woke up he sobbed in my arms until he was hoarse.

"Do you want to talk about?" I asked softly after he calmed himself down. He shook his head.

"I don't remember it." He informed me. He looked tired and it was getting late so I crawled into bed next to him, making sure my arm was wrapped securely around him before falling asleep. I vaguely heard Darry laugh and shut the door before I was completely out.
