Chris explained what happened the previous week.
"WAKE UP!" Chris shouted.
"Ugh." Duncan groaned. "It gets worse each week."
"I know." Tyler replied.
"Man… and I thought Helga was bossy." Gerald groaned.
"Today's challenge will be to jog a lap around the island." Chris announced. "You will start here and go all the way around."
"You can now begin." Chris demanded.
Everyone started to jog.
"How's your arm, Cody?" Arnold asked.
"It's better, but it still hurts."
Eugene had caught up. "Hey, Cody. How's your arm?"
"It's better."
Eugene had passed them, but had slipped and fallen into some mud. "Eww." He sighed.
"Oh, look. Eugene fell." Harold jeered.
"I slipped." Eugene sighed.
"No, you fell."
Eugene ignored Harold and kept jogging.
"I feel bad for Eugene." Arnold whispered to Cody.
"Yeah, I do too." Cody whispered back as they had caught up with Gerald.
They were half way through the lap when it started to rain. It wasn't a hard rain, but just a sprinkle. The sky was dark and cloudy and there was a slight breeze.
Very shortly after the sprinkling began, it started pouring. This made the ground even more slippery to jog on. Most of everyone started to slip a little. Eugene slipped and fell again, accidentally kicking mud into Duncan's direction. "Why is it always me?" Eugene grumbled as he tried to stand up and slipping again in the process. Most, if not all, of everyone was sniggering at this.
"Poor Eugene." Arnold whispered to Cody. He went over to Eugene and offered to help him up.
"Thank you, Arnold." Eugene grinned at him.
"You're welcome."
They continued to jog, but stayed away from the muddy areas. As for Eugene, he wasn't slipping quite as much.
It was raining so hard and quickly that some of the limbs of the trees were knocked off. The wind was blowing stronger to where it was blowing sand, dirt, mud, and leaves all over the place.
"I can't see through any of this mess." Eva complained.
"If you think that's bad then imagine feeling like someone is throwing mud at you." Duncan complained as well.
"This is crazy!" Courtney screamed.
"What is?" Sierra wondered.
"This mess is. Plus, where did this storm come from?"
"How would I… oh, look. It's Arnold and Cody." Sierra rushed to catch up with them.
"Oh. Hey Sierra." Arnold smiled.
"How far are we?" Cody wondered
"I think we are about half way done." Arnold replied.
"Ugh."
The rain had stopped, but it was still windy.
"This is crazy." Eugene sighed.
"I agree." Sierra replied while trying to catch up.
"This is a big island, and the fact that we have to jog a lap around it is annoying."
"Yeah, quite."
They were still jogging when Chris shouted "Hurry up! We only have a certain amount of time for the show."
"We still have a bit to go." Sierra complained.
"I think he's trying to rush us." Phoebe stated.
The race was over. "The winner for the race is… it's a tie between Arnold and Tyler." Chris stated. "That means that there will be one point given to each team. We will have our second tie breaker challenge soon."
"Here is your tie breaker challenge. Your challenge is to build a fire on the beach. You must find twigs and logs on the island. There must be enough to build a fire. You have five minutes to find some. Now get going." Chris demanded and the contestants rushed off to find what they need.
Sierra was the first to find several twigs. She carried them down to the beach and went back to search for some more. Several other campers were able to easily find some.
After everyone had everything they needed, they started to try to build a fire. They were only allowed to rub the sticks together… no other way.
"This is ridiculous." Courtney complained. "We aren't getting anywhere."
"It looks like team two could agree." Gerald agreed. Team two hadn't even been able to build a fire either.
They kept trying, but couldn't do it that well. It took them what felt like years. Team two was almost there, however. A slight breeze began, causing team one's fire to blow out. They then had to start over and team two was fixing to win the challenge, which made team one try harder. Team two's fire blew out as well.
"It was very close, but team two won." Chris announced. Everyone on team two was glad that they finally aren't going to elimination. "That means that someone from team one will be going home today.
"Okay team one. When I call your name, come up and get your chocolate bar. Arnold… Gerald… Eugene… Curly… Cody… Brainy… Courtney… Gwen… Leshawna… Scarlett… There is only one chocolate bar left and it will go to either Sid or Eva. The final chocolate bar goes to…
"…
"…
"…
"Sid. That means that Eva is going home." Chris announced.
"Whatever." Eva scoffed as she was taken to a paddle boat.
"What will happen next week? Tune in to Total Drama."
