"What's going on with you and the cat?'

"That is a long list maybe someday I could tell you but, I need to take a bath excuse me"

Walking around him I ascended the stairs. That night Kyo kissed me good night as we settled in for bed on the roof. This is what I love about him, that we could be content with just holding each other.

_NOW ON WITH THE STORY_

I had decided to spend some quality time with Yuki. Kyo was napping on the front porch after have being beaten by Yuki. I followed Yuki to the garden.

"Are you ever going to tell me what is going on, with you and Kyo?"

I looked at him, tilting my head to the side.

"Oh yeah, we really close he is very special to me. Is that what you meant?"

"I'm special too right, were close right?"

My eyebrows furrowed, where is all this coming from he is being weird.

"Yes Yuki were close your my best friend"

I stated it like it was the most obvious thing in the world. I noticed that he walked closer, to the point where our knuckles were almost brushing. As we got there I saw Jim, I gasped dashing forward swooping the turtle into my arms. I kissed his little turtle face, before Jim hid in his shell.

"Oh my little turtle how I've missed you I don't think that I've seen you since the hot spring"

I swung him in a half circle to face the prince.

"Look Prince Yuki its Jim I haven't seen him since Kyo and I were in the hot spring"

I did not even think about what came out of my mouth. Yuki became quiet and his face became thoughtful.

"You and Kyo spent time alone in the hot spring"

I froze long enough for Jim to poke his turtle head out of his shell. I moved my body into a more comfortable position, and then looking at Yuki stated the true fact.

"What, Yeah we did he owed me a backrub that is all. That was such a wonderful massage, should have him give me another"

Yuki looked at me and smirked.

"I could give you a back rub"

I looked at him, with the most skeptical look on my face.

"As tempting as that sounds, no thank you"

Then it dawned on me what today is. It her anniversary it's been a whole year. I frowned thinking it's going to be a heavy day.

"What are you thinking about?"

"That today is going to be a long day and I need to go help Tohru"

Standing I walked into the house and started looking for Tohru. I found her sitting at the breakfast table talking to Shiguire. Explaining what today is I sighed and walked in and sat beside her.

"It's May first the first anniversary of my mother's death; Mayonaka and I are going with Hana and Uo to her grave for the afternoon"

"I'm afraid I have plans this afternoon, I'm sorry I can't go with you"

I raised my hand to stop him from talking.

"No, Shi don't worry about it. We don't want you to feel like you have to be there, just knowing that you care enough to offer. Well that is generous enough, thank you"

Yuki, who was sitting just to my left, almost too close.

'Why is he doing this?'

I thought to myself, the answer came in the husky voice of my Fox mistress.

"He is jealous, a nasty feeling that is"

'Jealous of what, what is Yuki jealous for?'

Mistress laughed at me, she actually laughed at me.

"Silly child her wants you, he wants you and hates Kyo-Kun for taking you"

'Silly Rat it is going to be a useless battle'

I was brought back out of my silent conversation with Mistress, by the soft voice of Yuki.

"Could I come with you Mayonaka and Tohru?"

I was about to tell him he did not need to come with us, but Tohru beat me to the punch.

"Oh no really you don't need to"

He looked me in the eyes then smiled at Tohru.

"No I want to; I would like to say 'Hello' to your mother"

Tohru gasped, and a large smile spread across her face.

"Oh thank you that mean so much to me, I know it will to mom as well"

She leaned in to give him a hug, with me in the middle, making it a group hug. Yuki seemed all too eager I was smashed into his chest; he did not change as I was the barrier between him and Tohru.

Shigure looked past us to Kyo, who was unusually quiet.

"Hey Kyo if you're not doing anything, you should think about going with them"

I smiled at the thought, shifting and jumping away from the over friendly hug. I shifted back again, leaning towards his face.

"Yeah since Yuki is coming you should come too!"

I looked at him and the look he gave me, said that he would talk to me later.

"Well lets go, we need to get to school so we can make it to mothers grave"

On the way to school I felt some of father's magic. Enough magic to make me stop in my tracks and look into the distance, why was he coming back?

There was no special occasion, no holidays so why?

Thoughts about him plagued me all through classes, and I kind of hazed though the day. As we all made it to the grave we saw Hanna and Uo waiting for us. All dressed in black, Hanna ever dressed as a Victorian Lolita. Uo wearing mother's trench coat, and Kyo and Yuki made a big deal about what they were wearing. I love it as I love all things that are different and unique. We set up the picnic and sat down on mother's grave, Kyo was trying to be all high and mighty. I reached up and grabbed his hand yanking him down beside me, taking a pair of chopsticks full of food shoving it into his mouth. He started eating on his own, as we started talking about how crazy Kyoko was in her past about how she was a fighter, and the Red Butterfly. Before we all knew it, it was time to head home I gave the girls hugs and said good bye.

Tohru and I sat on the front porch with tea. Tohru sitting like a proper woman and I slouching against the wall of the house, one leg bent and the other straight.

"Ah there is nothing like relaxing, right sister?"

Tohru turned her head to look at me.

"Yep with some nice tea, good to unwind after a emotional day"

"Yes and introducing mom to the boys!"

I laughed nodding my head agreeing with her. That night I joined Kyo in his room, I laid beside him on the bed.

Did you have fun Kyo-Kitty?"

"Yeah it was interesting are you ok your not still all upset are you?"

Smiling at him I kissed his lips.

"I'm fine Kyo I always am, especially when I have you as my rock"

**NEXT DAY**

Going to school could always be such a drag. It doesn't helo that Hanna is all upset after thinking that we were going to make good wives and mothers. Wonder where she got that idea from. School can really be a pain, Nobody let Kyo and I get some time alone. As before I knew it we were at work and we were put on separate groups as Kimi was sick. When I finished I walked down to see Tohru hug Momiji, and turn him into the cutest rabbit. She then explained how his mother had wanted to forget all about him. I looked at him and then told him.

"Momiji I know you love her, but no mother worth her weight in beans. Would want to forget about her child, and or children"

He nodded hid little blonde bunny head. I patted his head.

"Good to know that you understand, I'm not saying to not love her. Just know that she is not worth you crying over you have all of us and we love you a lot, Momo my little peach bunny"

He started crying but with tears of joy. After stating that he looked over our shoulder at low and behold there was his mother with his little sister Momo. After a very short conversation Momiji she walked into his father's office. And Momiji left the building to head home as Hatori picked him up tp take him home. Tohru and I left the building tired after a long emotional day. I told Tohru that I was going to go talk to Kyo, and ended up sleeping with him. Well not sleeping, sleeping, just next to each other.

"Wake up Kyo"

I stroked his face with my finger, from between his eyebrows to the tip of his nose. Which he promptly bit softly holding my finger between his teeth.

"You always taste good"

He stated around my finger, before moving closer releasing my finger. He kissed my nose then lips.

"Kyo I love you a lot"

He smiled and kissed me fully, angling his head to make it more passionate. We rolled over so he could be on top; we rolled off the bed making the air burst from my lungs into his mouth. I gasped as we broke apart; I started laughing until Shigure and Yuki burst in. Yuki blushed and stormed out and Shigure started singing about Kyo getting lucky. It must have been a pretty interesting sight as we were tangled in the blanket and breathing heavy.

"GET OUT DAMNIT"

"Well that was interesting, I better get up and make breakfast"

I shoved Kyo off me giving him a nice view of my butt; as I swayed my hips on the way out.

"I love you in those shorts"

He loved the short spanks I had from playing volleyball in gym. I gave him a last kiss leaving the room to start on breakfast with Tohru, not seeing Yuki staring at me.

"Let's go to the hot spring!"

Shigure randomly shouted at the table.

I patted Kyo on the side of his head as I walked by him serving the table.

"I'm all for it"

I said wlaking back to grab the rice; Tossing Kyo a wink. Tohru started babbling about not wanting to endulge on them too much.

Sorry about the super late chapter, my daughter makes it hard to do things as she loves attention 24/7 lol she is a cutie that's for sure. Anyway I gave the chapter a quick editing sweep, so if I missed anything please let me know. It feels good to write again, as Rilee is asleep after her doctor's appointment. She is nine months old now, will be 1 on APRIL 25th so were all excited! Please do let me know of you all enjoyed it! I love hearing from you guys, Makes me feel good about my writing. I also got to meet Aaron Goodwin from Ghost Adventures at Comic Con, did not get to meet Norman Reedus though That was a bummer the line was so long! But I did get to sit in as Michael Rooker answered questions, he is so freaking funny. He could be a comedian!
