Author's note: Hi I'm back sorry for the wait I got lazy. :/

Now in high school Erza and her now best friend Lucy are walking to their seventh hour class. "Hey, Erza did you hear about the new kid? They say he's from Tower High have you heard of that place?" Then started to ramble on and on about other stuff like a five year old would do.

"Lucy, stop talking and give me time to answer. No I didn't hear about a new kid, and yes I have heard about Tower High." For a moment she remembered Jellal and how they were together and that night, but for only a moment. " How do you know?" Erza didn't want to tell Lucy the whole thing but she knew she had to say something "Umm, it's because I would have gone there if I didn't move."

Saved by the bell they ran to class just seconds before they were late. They went to their seats and got ready for class, but as Mr. Macao started his lecture there was a bang on the door. " Hello, is this Mr. Macao's room?" That voice sounded oddly familiar, but she couldn't quite place her finger on it. "Yes, yes come in." In walks a blue haired boy with a weird eye tattoo thing." Sorry I'm late I still haven't gotten used to this place." Erza didn't bother to look she knew it was a one-in-a-million chance to see him again.

"It's fine take a seat there is one by Miss Erza she's the one with that red hair." He walks up to her sits down and says "Hey, Scarlet got a spare pencil." Only one person ever called Erza that she turned her head and there he was that boy she once knew now sitting right beside her. "Jellal?" "In the flesh" Jellal did that smile that always made Erza melt. She couldn't believe it, he was here and trying not to make a scene in front of the class she just handed him a pencil and told him to meet her after class.

After class Erza went to her locker while Lucy was babbling on about Natsu and his cat or as much as she could tell. Her mind was going all over the place. How? When? Why is he here? Was all Erza could think. She was to busy to notice that Lucy left and Jellal had suddenly appeared beside her. "Hey are you going to ignore me the whole way home?" Jellal asked, and Erza just now realized that she had walked out of the school and on her way home. "Huh? Oh, I was just thinking."

"About?"

"Just, why, and how?"

"My dad left and my mom got a new job, so I moved here."

"Oh, I'm sorry and why are you following me home?"

"I just happen to live in the apartments down there. Apartment 18C."

Erza couldn't believe it, he was her new neighbor. "Well, looks like I'll be seeing you around a lot. I live in apartment 17C." With that she smiled as they turned the corner only to find the she-devil herself, and her beautiful smile disappear.

"Why Erza you look like you just got punched in the face, oh wait you always look like that." "Hi, Elizabeth." Erza could barely hold her stomach in at the site of her. "And who is this," said Elizabeth pointing at Jellal," more of your prey slut?" She didn't wait for the answer and left with her ghostly smile and a chuckle.

"Seems like she's changed," Jellal said," I thought she would at the least hit her or something." " Yeah, she is slowly but still, it started when I got the courage to stand up for myself." Erza said as she thought about that night." What happened?", said Jellal.

"The night I stood up to Elizabeth was about a week after I moved. I was on my phone texting you , but when the demon, Elizabeth, came barging into my room screaming at me for texting. She grabbed my phone and threw it across the room then she went and grabbed me by the hair, but I got a hold of her arm and had it in an arm lock.

"Look I don't know who you think you are, but I know you don't have the strength to break my arm." Elizabeth said as she lost her grip on my hair and was still in the arm lock.

"You're wrong, I am strong enough to break this twig, but I'm not going to." I said in a voice that would make the hair on your neck crawl and then I yelled," I'M NOT YOU!" Then I went to my phone and saw it broke on the floor I turned to my shocked step-mom and grabbed her bruised arm and shoved her out the door. I looked at my phone and was about to cry, knowing talking to you was impossible- at the time."
Jellal looked at her and didn't know what to say, all he could think was that they had really grown up. "Well, it sounds like you are a grown-up now." Jellal said, hoping to lighten the mood. She giggled," Very funny, but I'm not the only one who changed."
They were walking up the stairs to their apartments, and Erza was wondering if they were starting over or picking up. It was hard to tell with boys. "So, this is me, see ya."
"See ya tomorrow, Erza."

Now inside Erza couldn't believe it Jellal was here. He was here now she had to make sure the She-devil didn't mess it up this time.
