Author's note: Hi I'm trying to make this longer but I'm still learning so please be patient.

The next day was a Saturday, so Erza was planning what just about everyone does on a Saturday, sleep. She would have too, if she didn't get a text from Lucy. Erza read it thinking why on Earth would I go to the park at 10:00 a.m. but she knew if she didn't Lucy would make a blond move so, she got ready and tried to leave. "Erza, darling, where do you think you're going?" Oh great, Erza thought. "I don't see why it's any of your business where I go." Erza said. "Well, it's not. I just want to know 'cause if any one asked 'who took my baby', I can answer truthfully." Erza was not in the mood for this so early in the morning. She grabbed her stuff and left.

At the park Lucy was there with Natsu, Gray , Juvia and Jellal. "Erza, hurry up we know you can run!" Lucy said in her cheery voice. "Lucy, if you think I'm running at 10 A.M. you are stupid!" they all laughed at that. " Ok so why have you gotten me out of bed and if you say it has something to with a scavenger hunt I'll kill you."Erza said ,tired and aggravated. "Well it's not a scavenger hunt, It's a finding mission," Lucy said," Ok so here's the list we will be working in couples, so Me and Natsu, you and Jellal, then Gray and Juvia. Ready?" Lucy always did this kind of thing, but why she starts it so early no one knows. When they split Jellal and Erza were talking over the list. "Ok so we need to find a lily, red flag, hawk feather, and a toy plane. Got any ideas, Erza?" Jellal asked. " I know where to find a lily and flag, but I don't know about the others. Also how did you know about this last time I checked you didn't know Lucy?" Erza asked. "When you were spacing out yesterday she asked if I wanted to come and I said sure." Jellal said as they were walking down the trail. "Ah, so where do you want to start, the duck pond or the playground?"
"Let's go to the duck pond." Erza nodded and they left, not knowing they were being followed.

Lucy and Natsu were behind a pine tree. "Luce, why are we following them again?" Natsu sometimes had a great memory but other times he had the attention span of a goldfish. "Natsu, I told you, like, five times already. We have to make sure she doesn't find out about her party." She pulled out her phone and texted Juvia.

She's on her way to the pond

Lucy sent the message and turned to Natsu. "You did remember it's her birth-day, right?" Lucy asked him and he didn't have to answer, the look he had gave it all away. How he could remember hers and Happy's ,but not Erza's she didn't know. "Come on we got to get the party ready." Lucy said and grabbed his hand and walked off.

Jellal and Erza were on their way to the pond, the trail was winding, and very hilly, she took in the scenery of the trees and the way the light hit the leaves. It was a nice day, and she got to spend it with one of her most favorite people in her world. "So, what's new?" It had gotten fairly quite between them, so Jellal thought he should break the ice.

Erza stared at him a moment they hadn't spoken in years, the better question was what isn't new. "Umm, every thing I guess."

"Ok fair enough, then do you want to play twenty questions or something?" The blue haired boy asked earning a small smile from Erza.

"Ok I'll go first. Favorite color?" The way they played the game was you start with the simple questions then the ones that would have more thought in them.

"Still red, but if you want to get technical then scarlet." He winked and he saw a light tent of red on her face. "Almost the color of your cheeks." Her face redden more. "Now they're scarlet." Her face grew redder if possible. She was getting a little aggravated and he was laughing at her so she punched him in the arm -harder then she meant to- and he tried to grad her arm to regain balance. She was surprised and had her guard down and fell with him down the hill together.

When they landed at the bottom of the hill he landed on top of her. "Ok not sure why you pushed me that hard, but are you ok?" He rolled off of her and she was rubbing her head. "Yeah I'm fine you?"

"Yeah,let's try not to fall down a hill again. K?" He couldn't help but notice that she looked so cute like that. She was just sitting there but she still looked so cute. His thought was broken off when he heard yelling.

"Erza, are you ok, Juvia saw you fall did he push you? Does Juvia have to kick his ass?" Jellal looked at her kind of funny. She was speaking in third-person for some reason. Why she did this no one knew.

"No Juvia you don't have to hurt any one, I'm fine." Erza said in a semi-painful tone.

Jellal helped her get up and Juvia went back to Gray. When Erza got up she felt really dizzy like the world was at light speed and she was still. She fell in his arms. "Are you sure you're all right?" Jellal asked and gave her a worried look. "Yeah, I'm just dizzy." He still had a worried look on his face. She looked into his green eyes and gave him a peaceful look and he gave in. "I'm fine you can let go now." He hesitated then let go. "So, how far is it to the pond?" Jellal said trying to hide his blush "Not far about a mile if I had to guess." Erza began walking as jellal followed.

At the pond they were doing last minuet decorating for the party. "Guys she'll be here any second hurry it up!" Lucy yelled at the boys. "Pipe down Lucy you can easily give it away with all that yelling," said Gray. Lucy glared at him and Juvia said, "Juvia thinks Gray-sama has a point." Lucy gave up when she hear foot steps.

Erza and Jellal turned the to the path that lead to the pond and when they got there Erza looked around and smiled. There were streamers, balloons, and her friends all screaming, "Happy-Birth Day!"

The party lasted till five and she had fun. She got a new phone which she needed, but the real reason for that was Lucy got tired of e-mailing and actually calling her. They all said their good-bye's and Jellal was walking her home.

"So, when did you start to celebrate your birth-day again?" Jellal asked knowing why she stopped. "I guess it was when I met Lucy, but she still doesn't know why I stopped, and I think if I tell her she would pity me, and that is the last thing I want." He understood her reasoning and looked at her and saw the pain in her eyes and quickly changed the subject. "We still didn't finish our game and since we're almost home let's skip to number twenty." She looked at him a little confused but agreed. "Ok sense you pushed me down a hill I'll go first," Jellal said in a matter-oh-fact voice, and Erza couldn't help but laugh. "I think I have a good one," His voice got quite and whispered in her ear, "do you like me?" He leaned away to look at her face and saw it was bright red and felt his own burning. She turned to him and looked she didn't know what to say so she just looked in his eyes hoping that would give him an answer. He looked back at her and saw her eyes and a ton of emotion mostly confusion but he could have sworn he saw a flash of...love? "I could use a clearer answer then your eyes." He saw what she was trying to do but still would like to confirm his thought. She gathered up her courage and mumbled, "yes." He looked at and was closer to her "I couldn't hear you." She said it a little louder and he smiled. He pulled her close to him and embraced her. It didn't last long enough for him when she pulled away." Ok you have your answer now here's my question. Why do you like...me" At the end of that sentence she got quite.

He gave her a look that said 'isn't it obvious' but sense he made her tell when he knew he just said, "Because you're the most crazy, brutal, and amazing girl on this planet." They were walking up the apartments when he said that, and held hands the rest of the way up. When they got to the doors he let go and kissed her on her forehead then left.

When he got home his mom was looking at him. "What?" He said. "Nothing, it's just she looked familiar."

"You were spying on me?"

"No, I was just looking out the window when I saw her. Why does she look so familiar?"

Jellal blushed a little and said, "Because that was Erza, Mom"
