Author's note: Hey...so I'm back...sorry for the wait please don't kill me
The weekend flew by and they were at school again, or as some call it, The Other Hell. Erza and Jellal only had the last hour together, Erza got by ok but he was still new. The only people he knew were the people at Erza's birth day party, and from what he could tell they were a little too loud for his liking. His first hour was biology and he thought the teacher was a bit obsessed with fish. The students called him Mr. Happy for some reason.
Erza's first hour was P.E, which she had with Lucy, all they did was go over their health books, but today they had a sub so you could call it a free day. Every one changed seats to sit with their friends. Lucy saw the sub and went to sit with Erza.
"Hey, so I have a small question. What's the story with you and that eye tattoo guy?" Lucy asked as if it was an every day question. Erza blushed a little as she replied," We knew each other when we were younger, you could say he was-is my best friend." Erza didn't dare go farther into that because she still didn't want that burden on her.
"Aww so I'm in second place now." Lucy fake pouted. Erza laughed a little," No, I'm dating him so he's obviously going to be one of my best friends." said the red head still laughing. Lucy had a look of shock on her face," WHAT HOW LONG WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME SOONER!" Lucy shouted and the entire gym became silent.
Not much happened in 3rd 4th or 5th so it was lunch time. Erza was sitting with Lucy, Levy, Juvia, Natsu, Gajeel, and Gray when Jellal found her. Erza waved him over and he walked over and sat next to her.
"Erza I'm still mad at you for not telling me." said Lucy with her arms crossed.
"Not telling her what?" Jellal asked Erza. Erza kicked his leg under the table which, in the old days, meant 'I'll tell you later', but the pain showed on his face and earned a few confused looks from the others.
In 7th hour Erza passed a note to Jellal telling him to meet her at her house and that the She-devil should be working tonight.
They walked home together and Erza started to explain what happened in P.E. and he busted out laughing. "It's not that funny!" Erza said and punched him in the arm. "Hey, and yes it is she silenced the whole gym, how many principals can even do that." They laughed as they went in to her apartment.
They opened the door and Elizabeth was sitting on the kitchen counter. "Why, hello honey, how was school?" she said with a creepy smile while twirling a knife. Erza and Jellal backed away while Elizabeth charged at her with the knife. They grabed the closest thing they could, Erza grabbed a lamp and Jellal went for the beast's arm and jerked it back as Erza hit her in the head.
Elizabeth wasn't down yet with the other arm she punched Jellal and kicked Erza. With what little breath they could grab Erza and Jellal ran to her room while being chased by that thing. She shoved him behind her and slammed the door and put all her weight against it while motioning for him to push her desk to her.
They pushed it up against her door." That won't hold her for long." Jellal said almost out of breath. Erza quickly looked around the room when she looked up she said, "Gimme a boost." He helped her up and climbed up himself and closed the air duct. Erza whispered," Ok this shaft should go threw this floor so let's start heading this way before it gets us."
Jellal nodded and followed her and luck was definitely on their side because they ended up in his room. "Ok stay in here I'll check if Mom's here. Erza agreed but hid in his closet. "MOM!" he yelled and a woman with dark blue hair with hints of gray and silver in it.
"Yes," she said cheery till she saw the terror in her son's eyes," What happed!" she said frantically. So many words were running threw his mind but all he could do was grab his mom and tack her to Erza.
When they got there he opened the closet to revel a scared girl. Miss Fernandes keeled down to the girl and held her," What happed?" she said in a quite voice. Erza managed to muster out," Elizabeth.. knife.. ran.. police.." Miss Fernandes ran to the phone and called the police.
They got there shortly after and she went kicking and screaming," SHE KILLED HIM SHE KILLED HIM IT'S ALL HER FAULT!" Then for the first time in years Erza cried, and Jellal held her for a while.
