Author Note: I'm so sorry for this loooonnnnggg wait. My P.C. crashed on me and it took for EVER to fix, I hope this was worth the wait. Now I shall hide so I won't die.

Erza was in Jellal's room, under a blanket and Jellal's arm around her, when Mrs. Fernandes came in the room.

"Sweety, if you don't mind me asking, what was she yelling about?" Erza put her head to her knees and his grip tightened around her.

"S-she thinks I k-killed Papa." she stuttered wiping her eyes off with the blanket.

She was stunned,"Why would she think that?!" she sounded alarmed

Erza cleared her throat," Well-"

FLASHBACK

Erza came home from school and set her book bag by the door," Papa!" she called as a young man came around the corner and picked her up.

"How's my little Titania?" he asked and she just giggled," Papa do you remember what day it is?"

He smiled a dad smile and spun her around," Of course I remember, my little girl turns six, just give me one sec I have to get the cake, love you." he kissed her cheek and she hugged his neck as she was being let down.

"Love you too, Papa." she smiled at him as he left

Later that day her step-mom came home," Erza?" Erza came around and smiled at her, "Where's your Papa?"

"He went to get my birth day cake, it's taking him a while."

The phone started to ring and Elizabeth went to get it," Hello. This is she. What do you mean." She dropped the phone when she got the answer. "Your husband died on impact. I'm sorry for you loss."

"After the funeral she went crazy. She started to beat me and she hated me. I lost my Papa on my sixth birth day, I barely understood what death was!"

She started to shake under the blanket. Jellal had a sad expression on his face and said," It will be ok, I promise, she's in jail all you have to to if face her in trial then it'll all be over."

"How are you so calm, if it weren't for me, you wouldn't have been chased with a knife!"

buzz buzz buzz

Erza's phone started to buzz she picked it up and saw it was a text from Lucy.

Hey you left your txt book at school im omw to give it

"Lucy is on her way what should I do?" she looked at Jellal's mom and she was still in shock from the story.

Jane Fernandes took a deep breath to gather herself and said, "Umm...does she know?"

"No, she didn't need that burden, but now I don't think I have a choice."

"I think you should text her and tell her where you are."

Erza nodded and texted her to come to Jellal's and told her where he lives.

"Ok, she's on her way up now."

A few minuets later they heard a knock and Lucy looked worried as she came threw the door.

"Erza what's going on why is there police tape on your door, and why does it look like you've been crying?"

"Lucy I need to tell you something, you know how I've been kind of closed off from the world and had some trust issues?"

"Yeah, where's this going."

"There's a story behind all of that and it started when I was six-"

"-And that's why and before you start yelling at me for not telling you, think would you really tell me if it was you?"

Lucy thought a moment and said," No... I don't think I would. Umm what are you going to do? Is she in jail, where would you live, would you move?"

Jane spoke before Erza could," Before they put her in jail she will have to be trialed, as for living, she could live here if she wants."

Jellal and Erza blushed and Lucy was laughing at them.

"Oh please, there would be rules, like all clothes must stay on at all times, and if you break that rule use protection!"

Then Lucy fell on the floor from laughing and the couple just tried to use their hair to cover their tomato faces.

"Mom!"

"What I'm just saying."

"When the trial?" Erza said quickly changing the subject.

"Tomorrow"

At the trial Erza was very happy that Jellal's mom was a lawyer as the judge ordered every one to sit.

Elizabeth's lawyer, Ichiya, called Erza to the stand.

"So, why are you here?"

"I'm here because she snapped and tried to kill me and my boyfriend."

"Why would she try to kill you?"

"She thinks I killed my Papa."

"Did you?"

"No, he was in a car crash when he was getting my birth day cake."

"How old were you?"

"Six." Everything she said was surprisingly calm.

"You said you have a boyfriend, is he here."

"Yes, he's the one with the blue hair and eye tattoo."

He called Jellal up to the stand." Ok may I ask what you saw and your name."

My name is Jellal and I saw the same thing, her step mom was trying to kill me and her."

His voice was harsh and spat the words.

"You seem to hate this woman may I ask why?"

"I am Erza's best friend and I have been since kindergarten I remember when she lost her eye I remember every thing she went threw and...I hate to say it but I was the only one there for her."

"How did you meet her?"

Erza and Elizabeth were at the hospital. The receptionist called for the older woman and left Erza in the waiting room.

She sat there kicking her feet and minding her own business when a little boy poked her arm.

"Why are you here you don't look sick?" the boy said.

"I'm not sick my step mom rushed me here cause she got a call."

"Oh, do you want to play?" she nodded and rushed to the tiny area for kids

"Why are you here you don't look sick either?" she asked.

"My dad is," his voice got really quite," I hope he's ok."

She didn't say much after that because his mom came in soon and said they had to talk.

"Hey, wait before you go what's your name?"

His mom stopped and answered for him," His name is Jellal and I thought I saw you in his class."

She shrugged and just said," I don't remember but if he is, he owns me a recess."

They laughed and then Elizabeth came in and said, come on Erza we need to go." She was wiping tears from her eyes.

"School."

"The defense rests."

The she beast was throwing a tantrum in the back.

"Ok I call Elizabeth to the stand."

She walked up to the stand and sat down.

"Is it true that your husband died?"

"Yes"

"Did you blame any one for his death, if so who?"

"Erza."

"Why."

"He wouldn't have been driving if she hadn't been born."

"So you tried to kill her and my son."

She leaned in close to the mic and said," Yes, and I would do it again."

"Your honor not only is she guilty but also insane."

The jury found her guilty and she was put in jail.

Erza was moving in with Jellal and his mom. She packed the last thing and headed over she was greeted with a large smile.

"We did it we finally did it." Erza said with a real smile, one that could light up a world full of darkness.

Jellal pulled her in for a hug and held her tight. "It's over." and kissed the top of her head and smiled.
