"Hey." She greeted quietly.

"Hi."

Gregor fidgeted on the balls of his feet, looking around the room. Elsa remained standing straight, hands folded neatly in front. Both had no idea where to start. Gregor took the initiative and cleared his throat.

"Please, have a seat." He gestured to the couch.

Elsa nodded in return and headed over. She sat down and looked to see Gregor hadn't followed. She quirked an eyebrow.

"I'm gonna get something to drink. Would you like anything? Tea? Water?"

"Water's fine."

"Right."

He shuffled over and snatched two glasses from the cabinets. He opened the fridge and grabbed the water pitcher. He filled Elsa's glass and then placed the water back, grabbing his own drink and filling the remaining glass. He grabbed both and joined Elsa on the couch, handing her glass to her.

She gave a small smile. "Thank you." Her eyes landed on his drink and she let out a snicker. "Chocolate milk?"

Gregor looked down and smiled sheepishly at her. "Yeah." He chuckled. "It's an old favorite of mine." He leaned in like he was telling a secret. "Don't tell anyone, okay? I've got a reputation to uphold."

Elsa snorted. "What reputation?" She took a sip of water, a smirk playing on the brim of the glass.

"Of a mature and sophisticated doctor." He answered like it was obvious.

"Yeah, okay." Elsa replied unconvinced.

"I resent that." He said in a hurt tone, but his eyes and face showed playfulness. He added to the charade by protruding his bottom lip. Elsa stifled a laugh into her drink and put the glass down on his side-table. Gregor grinned.

"There's that smile."

Elsa blushed and tucked a stray hair behind her ear. Gregor took a nice gulp before placing his own drink on the coffee table in front. He clapped his hands together and rubbed them, setting them in his lap.

"Elsa, if I did something, I'm sorry."

The woman snapped her head almost quick enough to give herself whiplash. "You're sorry?"

"Uh...yes?" It was more a question than an answer.

"Gregor, why in the world are you apologizing?"

"I don't know." He shrugged his shoulders. "I figured I'd done something since you haven't talked to me in two weeks. Not even a text."

Elsa rubbed her temples and let out a frustrated sigh. "Gregor, you didn't - haven't - done anything."

"Then, what-"

"Do you remember what I said that night? Before I...before I kissed you?"

Gregor scratched his head. "Uh, you said a lot of stuff that night. Kinda went on a ramble..." Elsa blushed again, this time in embarrassment. Gregor didn't seem to notice. He hummed in thought. He stopped when something came to mind. "Are you referring to when you said you were confused?"

She nodded. Gregor smiled. "Great, because I am too."

Elsa started. He was confused? And he was happy about it? "I don't understand. Why are you smiling?"

"Well, I wasn't sure if you came here with a definite decision or not. Now I know we can figure this out. Together." Her face reddened. "Besides, it's nice to know I'm not the only one."

He reached for his milk and took a hearty sip. He spoke his mind, now it was Elsa's turn.

"Okay," She started. "Well, I know you have feelings for me."

Gregor's cheeks turned a warm pink. "I did say that."

"And, I know I said I was confused. Did I ever say why?"

"Well, you said something about hormones and how long you've known me."

Elsa was bobbing her head. "Right, right." She sighed and looked directly at the man next to her. "Gregor, you've told me everything I need to know. You told me you have feelings for me and, correct me if I'm wrong, you want to be in a relationship with me. What do you want to know?"

He sighed and ran his hand through his brown hair. "Well, I suppose I want to know why you're confused. I know you just told me, but maybe a little more elaboration? I'm still lost on a few parts."

"Alright, that's fair." She took a moment to collect her thoughts. "I...I've never been in a relationship. Not one. Which isn't surprising considering my first date was with you."

She took a sip of water and then continued. "I don't know how to be in a relationship, I don't know what it means to have feelings for someone, not seriously at least. All I've had was one innocent crush on a guy that only lasted about a month."

Gregor really wanted to interrupt but fought the urge. "I'm...scared. I don't want to hurt you, I have no idea what I'm doing, and I've never been a fan of not knowing stuff. It's kind of a weakness of mine." She chuckled at herself. "That's all I understand really. It's fear and inexperience."

Gregor placed his hand over hers. Elsa jumped at the contact, but then relaxed. "Can I ask you just two questions?"

"Of course."

"How come you never went on a date beforehand? Nobody asked you?"

She shrugged her shoulders. "I never bothered. When I entered college, all I focused on was my studies. I didn't even want to make friends, but Rapunzel edged her way in. I love her dearly for doing that. According to her, she saw a few guys showing interest in me, but I always brushed her off, not really understanding why they were interested. I still feel that way at times. All that mattered to me was doing well in my courses and graduating with a successful career. All I cared about was making sure I could care for my sister."

"Why would you put all that on yourself?"

Elsa's eyes watered, but she refused to let tears fall. Not in front of him. "Our parents died my senior year of high school."

"Oh Elsa, I'm so sorry." He sympathized. His hand squeezed hers instinctually.

"It's okay." She breathed shakily. "Wh-When they died Anna was all I had. I wanted to make sure I could provide for her if she ever needed it. I never realized how much I was hurting her by throwing myself into my books."

Gregor's only thought was to comfort the saddened girl next to him. He scooted closer and wrapped an arm around her shoulders, pulling her close. Elsa leaned in, accepting the support.

"I'm sorry, I didn't realize. We can stop if you want."

She shook her head. "No, you're fine. It's good to talk about it. It helps."

They sat in silence for a few moments. "What was your other question?" She asked him.

"Oh, right. You don't have to answer if you don't want to. I really should've stressed that before I asked the first one."

"I told you, it's fine. Really. Ask your question."

"Who was the guy you had feelings for?"

Elsa stiffened. "Beg pardon?" She heard him, she just wasn't expecting it.

"Who did you have feelings for before? The one you said was an innocent crush and lasted for a month?"

Elsa inhaled deeply. "I'm not sure if you'll like the answer."

"What do you mean?"

She squirmed and was reminded his arm was around her. Her face was heating up quickly. "It...it was Kristoff."

Gregor's eyes widened. His thoughts stumbled around. "Kristoff?" A nod. "Kristoff, my roommate Kristoff?" Another nod.

"Uh...wow. H-How did that...come about?"

"That is another long story."

Gregor got up from the couch and grabbed his jacket. He put it on and then tossed Elsa's over to her. She caught it and looked over confused. This was the second time today someone left her on a couch, only to show signs of taking her somewhere.

This is getting old. She thought a little exasperatedly.

"I'm hungry. You hungry?" He said as he got out his keys.

All she could do was nod silently. "Excellent. How about lunch and you can continue your story? I would offer something from our house, but I haven't gone grocery shopping."

Elsa stood from the couch and pulled on one sleeve. "Um, sure. That sounds like a good idea."

He smiled and offered his arm to her. She grinned and took it, the two of them strolling out of the house, the drinks resting where they were.

The two sat outside a small café downtown. Both had half-finished sandwiches in front of them. Gregor was working on his second half while Elsa chose to take a break from the panini and picked at her bag of chips. Gregor swallowed and wiped his mouth.

"So you ice skate? Regularly?"

Elsa nodded while sipping her lemonade.

After ordering their lunches, Elsa started her story about her mini panic attack and the drive that led her to Oaken's. She explained how she met Kristoff and when she started developing feelings for him. Gregor nodded and added in here and there, but for the most part remained quiet and just listened. The tale ended and Gregor responded by saying he was surprised, but understood. Elsa's situation made sense to him and he voiced if he were in the same circumstances, he probably would've acted the same way. Elsa was relieved, glad Gregor wasn't angry or hurt.

The conversation turned casual and Gregor started asking more questions, wanting to know more about the woman across from him. He turned the conversation away from things that made her emotional and veered towards hobbies and interests.

"Is it hard?"

"It can be. You've never been?"

He shook his head. "Nope. My mother wasn't a fan of the cold and I just never had the chance."

Elsa got a Cheshire smile. "Well, we have to fix that."

Gregor wobbled on the ice while watching Elsa glide along easily. She moved along the ice gracefully, her hair blowing gently in it's ponytail. Her face was relaxed, like she was in her own little world of bliss. He had never seen her so calm, no worries or a care in the world. She seemed so at home, a smile was permanently glued to her face. He loved this smile on her, almost as much as the admiration she got when talking about her baby sister. Elsa shot her bright smile over at him.

Yep, I'm in trouble. He thought as he stumbled and fell flat on his butt.

Elsa hid a laugh behind her hand before gliding over to help him up.

"You okay?" She held out both hands to him.

"I'm fine. Hey, if I bruise myself, there's plenty of ice."

Another laugh. Gregor loved seeing Elsa loosen up, he was positive the ice rink had something to with it. He grabbed her hands and hauled himself up. As soon as he was on his feet, he was back to trying to keep his balance.

Elsa kept her hands firmly on his arms, just as she did with Anna. "You almost got it. You just have to get a feel for it."

"Easier said than - whoa!" He went down, this time taking Elsa with him.

Elsa inwardly thought how this was very similar to back when she taught Anna how to skate. Her head landed on his chest and she met his hazel eyes.

Correction, not the same at all.

Both seemed to be frozen on the spot. Gregor's glasses started to fog up as he leaned closer ever so slightly. Elsa wasn't sure what to do. The moment was broken by a friendly greeting.

"Yoo-hoo!"

Elsa turned her head to see Oaken skating up to them. She maneuvered off Gregor and got up, brushing some of the ice shavings off her jeans. She smiled up at the owner.

"Good afternoon, Oaken."

"Same to you, dear. Great day for skating, ya?"

Elsa went to respond, but was distracted by a grunt and then a thud. Gregor was still trying to get up. Oaken noticed his struggle and went over to assist.

"Let me help, sir." He hooked his hands under Gregor's arms and hoisted him up in one swoop, like he weighed nothing. Gregor's eyes widened and he stuttered out a thanks when he was put down. Elsa stood close to him, making sure he stayed standing.

"No problem." Oaken replied. He looked at the man and then over to Elsa. "Your boyfriend, dear?"

Elsa went scarlet. "Uh, not exactly. Well, sorta? I mean, we're still thinking...wait, what?"

Oaken hid a smirk while Elsa gathered her thoughts. She skipped to introductions. "Oaken, this is Gregor, Kristoff's roommate. Gregor, this is Oaken. He's the owner of the rink and Kristoff's boss."

Gregor held out his hand. "Pleased to meet you."

Oaken took his hand in an iron grasp causing Gregor to bit his lip. The man's grip was strong like an ox. "It's a pleasure to meet you. Kristoff's told me a lot about you."

"Same." He strained.

Oaken let go with a gasp. "My apologies, I forget my own strength."

"No worries." Gregor said earnestly.

Oaken placed himself next to Elsa and leaned down to whisper in her ear, the man a skyscraper compared to her. Elsa's eyes went wide and she turned red.

"Oaken!"

With a mischievous grin he waved at the the two. "Have a good day, dear. Nice meeting you, Gregor."

With that, he skated off to converse with his other customers. Elsa held her head in her hand, willing the blush to subside.

"What'd he say?"

"That you and I are cute together and I should hold onto you." She grumbled into her palm, refusing to look up.

Gregor let out a laugh and carefully wove his arm around her. Elsa's blush worsened and she still wouldn't look up.

"Hey." He coaxed. One of her eyes peeked open at him. "Whatever you're comfortable with, whenever you're ready. Just focus on that, alright?"

She gave him a grateful expression and leaned up to peck him on the cheek. "Thank you." He went red and fumbled, landing on his butt yet again.

Elsa giggled. "You're hopeless."

She bent down and kneeled on the ice, happy they were in the middle and not with the flow of traffic. "If it's alright with you, I'd like to give this dating thing a shot."

His mouth went wide with a smile. "You mean it?"

She nodded with a blush. "Yes. Sound good to you?"

"You already know how I feel."

Elsa leaned over and kissed him. This time, it was long enough for him to kiss back.
