"Uh... okay." I said nervously, pulling back my hair. "Fun."

-LATER ON...-

After all of the fuss over my eyes was over, I sauntered out of the building with some stylish eyeglasses on.

"Looking good," Henry said, admiring my dominant attitude. "Now, dinner on me."

I opened my mouth to decline, but Henry put his finger up, silencing me. "I'm your father, Rachel. I insist on paying."

I still wasn't so sure on how I felt about Henry being my father. He was a nice guy, but I had only just met him. "Give it a year, maybe I might let you pay for my dinner. I'm an adult, Henry. Besides, I have my own independent source of income."

"And that is...?" Henry challenged.

"That doesn't matter," I said quickly, avoiding the subject of my work. "Speaking of work, you need to get back to YOUR work."

"You got me there, Rachel, but we will discuss this later," Henry warned.

"Right," I said, humoring him as we walked off together into the sunset.

Family is something that nobody should go without. A life without family is lonely and desolate, one nobody should live. Without family, one has no support, nobody to fall back on. Henry is my family. Well, so are Abe and Jo.

(A/N: I hoped everyone liked it. Sorry about the long wait, and for the somewhat blunt ending. -C)
