Going to Hogwarts.

Part 2.

As the train headed to Hogwarts a spectre of Aria appeared next to Vida, she held her winged fox called Basil; she had named him after one of her favourite puppets from TV. The sisters had recently discovered a way to make Aria appear in her spectre form, they used a combination of Vida's illusion powers and their Fae magic to make her appear to everyone and be heard by everyone for a certain amount of time.

"Hey, Echo." the Black twins greeted Aria.

"Hey, guys." Aria greeted back. "I wonder how quick the news will get out and how big it's going to be when it's revealed Matilda's alive."

"Considering I've been hailed for something my mom technically did and what we've learned of the wizarding world, very quick and huge." Harry commented.

"Anyone going to bother keeping a tally on how many children try to become Harry and Matilda's friends because of Harry's fame and Matilda's inevitable fame, and the vast inheritance they own?" Layla asked.

"No, we'll lose count." Vida said.

The door to the compartment opened and Aria quickly disappeared while at the same time the Saxton sisters put on their emotionless masks.

A ginger haired boy stood in the doorway and he quickly spotted Harry.

"Can I sit here? Everywhere else is full." he asked.

*Speak of the devil.* Aria commented. *I bet this is one now.*

"Don't you know it's rude not to knock?" Vida asked in a dull voice.

"Sorry." the boy said, not sounding sorry at all.

The boy then sat down without permission.

"You're Harry Potter, aren't you?" said the boy, looking at Harry. "Do you have the scar?"

The Saxton sisters and Black twins internally grimaced at the boy's clear rudeness.

"No. It faded a long time ago." (AN. I forgot to write that Harry also had his cursed scar removed when his blocks were removed, sorry.) Harry answered, struggling to keep the negative feelings towards the boy out of his voice. "Since you obviously know me, care to introduce yourself?"

"I'm Ron Weaslsey." said the boy proudly.

The sisters and twins managed to keep their reactions in check. They had been warned about the Weasleys, a poor family that kept having children despite their lack of good money, and said to be the biggest supporters of Dumbledore. They were almost certain that this boy was a gold digger now, but they didn't judge him because of that because they knew not to judge someone by family or upbringing.

"I'm Matilda." Matilda introduced herself.

The group of friends could tell that Ron wasn't happy that Matilda was sitting next to Harry.

"This is Vida and Layla Saxton." Matilda introduced the sisters due to their act requiring them to be antisocial to everyone but the Black twins.

Ron seemed to be thinking very hard as soon as he heard the name Saxton, it looked like the level of thinking hurt him.

"Wait a minute, I remember your family name, that Saxtons are a dark family!" Ron shouted out. "I bet an evil family like you are making friends with Harry for his fame, or to deliver him to your master when he returns!"

He got four cold looks in return. He had just overstepped the boundary and became very unwelcome in the compartment.

"Can you please not insult our friends, we have known them for a very long time and they have done noting to indicate that they're friends with us for any other reason than they like us." Harry said coldly.

"Just because our family doesn't support the light does not make our family dark, and just because a family is dark does not make them evil." Vida said, her voice brought shivers of terror to Ron.

Mau was hissing at Ron and Tamamo was growling.

"I suggest you leave before you cause more trouble." Harry said.

Ron looked like he was going to try and make an excuse.

"LEAVE!" All four ordered.

And Ron left.

"Why do I get the feeling that that's not the last we'll see of him?" Aria asked as she reappeared. "I lightly skimmed his mind while you were keeping him busy, he was in it for the fame and money, it was broadcasted clear as day."

"Well that's one person down that we know wants to be my friend for the benefits," Harry said.

"Just the rest of Hogwarts to go." Matilda finished off her brother's sentence.

The next visitor came with a knock, it was a nervous looking boy that introduced himself as Neville Longbottom.

"Have any of you seen a toad?" he asked.

"No, but why don't you try a prefect, they might know a spell to find him with." Matilda suggested kindly.

(AN. Whenever I hear the word prefect I instantly think of the sentence, 'the prefects are the voice of the headmaster' from the Demon Headmaster.)

As Matilda spoke Aria quickly did a skim over Neville's mind to see if he was in search of Harry for the benefits. Not only did she find that he wasn't, but she was shocked to find blocks over him that suppressed his magic and mind, and she also sensed that he wasn't matched up to his wand. Aria immediately told her sisters.

Neville smiled at Matilda's suggestion and her kind demeanour. "Thanks, I'll do that." he said.

Neville made to leave but Vida stopped him.

"Neville, wait!" she said.

Neville turned around on her command.

"Yes?" he asked nervously.

"Forgive me for doing so but I'm magically sensitive, I accidentally read your magic core." Vida lied. "Are you aware that you have several blocks surprising your magic and mind?"

"What? Really?" Neville gasped in shock. "D…does that mean I'm not actually a near-squib?"

The friends cringed, obviously he'd been told that by many people.

"According to what my aunt told me about those kind of blocks, and judging on the amount of them, I'd say I'm surprised that you haven't injured yourself or someone else from the damage it's causing your core." Vida said.

Neville looked a little confused.

"Sit down, they'll explain." Matilda offered.

Neville nervously sat down.

"Think of a child magic user's body as a volcano." Vida said. "It occasionally gives off busts of lava in eruptions of varied sizes, like a child's accidental magic. People can control the lava flow using irrigation ditches to divert the lava to places where it can do the least harm, a magic block on a child is meant to be like an irrigation ditch, diverting the busts of magic to not do big or dangerous things. The magic blocks you have on are like blocking up a volcano, the pressure will build and build, occasionally giving off violent busts of lava and other things, until the whole volcano erupts violently, destroying the whole area around it and maybe even itself, if your blocks stay on your magic will eventually erupt out of your body with dangerous results that could kill you and the area around you, including the people in it."

Neville looked very scared. "Can something be done?" his voiced quaked as he spoke.

"Yes, I'll write a letter to our aunt and uncle and send it as soon as I can while you get in contact with your grandma, our family can get you to a place where your blocks can be removed with minimal damage, if your grandma agrees to meet with our family the blocks can be removed."

"Thank you! Thank you! I'm in your debt!"

"It's only the right think to do. Also, your wand isn't right for you."

"It's my father's wand."

"But you're not your father, are you? Each wand's unique to their owner." Matilda said. "You best include that fact in your letter to your grandma as well."

"I will." Neville said. "I'll go find my toad now, thank you."

Neville then left.

"He was nice." Layla passed judgement. "We can add him to the list of potential friends at Hogwarts."

"He was the other child who fit the prophecy that Harry fulfilled if I remember correctly." Aria said, once again reappearing because when had disappeared when Neville arrived.

"Can we do something about people coming into the compartment, it's going to get annoying." Vida commented.

Layla nodded and put some runes at the door that worked as a perception filter (made people ignore the compartment).

The rest of the train ride was fairly quiet and peaceful.

The group of friends left the train after it arrived at the station. Vida tugged uncomfortable at her robes.

"I hate wearing these things already, they're so constricting and uncomfortable." she complained.

"Just bare it, it's only until we find the stone." Layla told her.

"Fine. But I'm burning them as soon as it's over."

Layla smiled at her sister's antics.

"First years this way!" shouted a booming voice.

The first years followed the voice belonging to a very big man. They quickly boarded the boats that then led them to the castle. After a bit of a wait they finally entered the Great hall.

They waited patiently as each child in the first year was called up alphabetically to put on an old hat that would sort them into their new house. The friends ended up near Neville as they waited.

"Why so nervous, Neville?" Harry asked him.

"I'm worried that I'll end up not getting sorted, I'll be lucky to end up in Hufflepuff." Neville said dejectedly.

"What's wrong with Hufflepuff?" asked Matilda.

"People say that's where the rejects from the other houses go, that they're all duffers."

"Well then, they're wrong, all houses are equal and have good qualities. A Hufflepuff can still be brave, smart and cunning."

"If fact, a friend of ours who came here once ended up in Hufflepuff, and she's one of the strongest woman we know. She had the qualities of all houses but her overpowering sense of loyalty won through in the end." Vida told Neville.

"We'll still talk to you, and maybe even be friends with you, regardless of the houses we go in." Harry assured Neville.

"You want to be friends with me?" Neville asked.

"Yes." all four answered.

"Just don't expect us to reveal our deepest secrets just yet." Vida teased.

"Longbottom Neville!" McGonagall called out.

"Good luck." Neville's new friends told him.

After a minute under the hat it finally shouted out, "HUFFLEPUFF!".

The list carried on until…

"Potter Harry!"

Harry walked up to the stool and ignored the whispers about him, he sat on the stool and the hat was placed on his head.

"Mr Potter, I'm going to have to ask you to lower you shields." came the voice of the sorting hat. "I assure you that your secrets are safe with me."

"Sorry." Harry replied.

Harry lowered his shields and allowed the hat into his mind.

"You certainly have a lot of secrets and power. You have the qualities for all of the houses."

"I don't care what house I'm in as long as it's with my sister." Harry commented.

"Ah, yes, your sister. I do hope you'll have your cameras ready to catch people's reactions."

"We will." Harry promised.

"Yes, you, your sister and friends will bring a lot of trouble for the meddlesome old goat, it'll be just like the days of your father. You should seek out the Weasley twins, Fred and George, they are first class pranksters and they aren't like their brother you met."

"I'll tell the others."

"Anyway, your sorting. You can be any house but you want to be with your sister and from what I've seen in your memory she and you will go to, RAVENCLAW!"

The name of the house was shouted aloud and Harry moved to the blue table after taking the hat off. The Ravenclaw table and some other people from the other tables clapped, while others were stunned that Harry Potter wasn't in Gryffindor, after getting over their shock they all clapped. But the next name read out shocked them all into silence.

"Potter Matilda!" McGonagall said, then realising what she said when put her hand over her heart and looked over to the girl walking her way towards the stool.

People were either silent because they were shocked at the prospect of another Potter, or that the thought to be dead sister of Harry Potter was there. Unknown to them, hidden cameras were recording their reactions.

Matilda sat on the stool and put the sorting hat on her head. People craned to get a good look at her.

"Miss Potter, like I told your brother, I can't sort you unless you lower your shields, your secrets are safe." the sorting hat said.

Matilda lowered her shields and the sorting hat had a look. She was surprised to hear it laugh.

"You certainly can be your father's daughter at times can't you, with those pranks you pulled on the Wormwoods. And that motto of yours, when a person is bad that person has to be punished, brilliant. And you are extremely smart and level headed, you're a perfect blend of your father and mother. Like your brother you have the qualities of all four houses, but your intelligence and need to be with your brother puts you in RAVENCLAW! Oh, and good luck with the prank."

Matilda slipped off the stool and joined her brother at the Ravenclaw table.

After everyone got over their shock the sorting continued, until…

"Saxton Layla!"

Layla kept her face blank as she walked up and put the sorting hat on her head, she lowered her shields without being asked.

"My, my, you triplets have certainly been through quite a lot. Now let's see, courage is a certain with your line of work, you're very loyal but only to those you trust like each other and the Potter twins, you are very intelligent, but you have a secret deep love for pranks and have gotten away with quite a lot with your sister in the past, and you have to be cunning to survive being a slayer. So I shall put you in SLYTHERIN!"

Layla took off the sorting hat and walked over to the table in green, making sure she had a space for her sister.

"Saxton Vida!"

Vida kept the same blank face as her sister as she put the sorting hat on her head.

"You saw enough of Aria and I from Layla's mind, now put us in Slytherin!" Vida ordered.

The sorting hat didn't even bother to protest because he knew the dangers that could come with separating the Saxton sisters, the last one who tried to do that departed from the world in a very horrible way.

"SLYTHERIN!" The sorting hat shouted.

Vida took it off and joined her sister, holding hands as soon as they were sat together.

The sorting finished with Blaise Zabini, then everyone ate their dinner.

When dinner had finished, there was a large bang before Dumbledore could speak. Light filled the hall and the silhouette of a dog appeared, which then turned into a man.

"I, Padfoot of the Marauders, present you with the new generation." Sirius' voice rang through the hall.

Out of the shadows walked the silhouette of a woman, she then seemed to have six arms but is turned out that each pair of arms belonged to one woman, the three of them had been standing in a line, the three separated and their bodies and hair became different colours, their glowing eyes the only features on their faces, and they had different features. One had a red body, blue eyes and white hair, she had red fox ears and tail; this one represented Vida. Another had a white body, red eyes and black hair, and white angel wings came from her back; this one represented Layla. The final woman had a black body, brown eyes and red hair, red tribal tattoos travelled around her body; this one represented Aria.

Next a eagle and blackbird flew down from the ceiling. The eagle turned into a woman dressed in white and brown feathers; the represented Matilda. And the blackbird turned into a man dressed in black feathers; he represented Harry.

"Introducing the three maidens." the silhouette of Sirius motioned toward the triplets. "The Sly Maiden, the Pure Maiden, and the Enchanting Maiden." he called out the Marauder names for Vida, Layla and Aria (in that order). "And the birds of a feather, Night Feather," he motioned to Harry. "And Sky Feather." he motioned to Matilda. "Good luck, Hogwarts."

And with that the silhouette of Sirius disappeared.

"Citizens of Hogwarts." Layla announced in a distorted voice. "You are probably wondering what our opening prank will be. Well, you'll get your answer once the potions that were in your food kick in."

Suddenly, most of the school found themselves multi-coloured, covered in poker dots, growing animal ears, hair growing to the floor, etc. Nothing harmful.

"Don't worry, it'll wear off in a couple of hours." Vida said in a distorted voice.

The Weasley twins, who had grown monkey tails, shot out of their seats and raced across the hall to where the representations of the new Marauders were, they then got on the floor in front of them and bowed.

"We are not worthy, we are not worthy." they chanted. "Show us your ways, great pranksters. We pledge ourselves to you."

The real new Marauders smiled at each other, it seemed at least two of the Weasleys were good, they might even recruit them into the Marauders.

"Happy to know we are not the only pranksters." Aria's representation said in a distorted voice.

"But we must turn in." Harry's distorted voice said.

"Goodnight, Hogwarts." All five said.

The representations then disappeared and the lighting returned to normal.

After everyone calmed down, Dumbledore started his speech. (AN. What he said in the book.) He basically invited the students to get into danger by banning the third corridor with punishment of pain of death, yet giving no explanation as to why. He then sent everyone to bed.
