Secrets.
Over the next few days Vida and Layla stayed tightly at Aria's side as they walked down the halls of Hogwarts, aiding their triplet with getting up and down the stairs despite her protests of doing it herself. Aria was making a strong effort with getting used to walking because she hated being dependent on her crutches and sisters to walk. As expected Aria was sorted into Slytherin with her sisters. After a day of getting to know her, the Weasley twins, Neville and Draco found out that Aria had no tact whatsoever, spending most of her life with only being able to talk to her sisters left Aria with very few social skills; she said what she thought and showed her emotions clearly. The triplets knew Aria was going to be in some harsh training with their uncle and aunt to get her up to par with Layla and Vida once they left Hogwarts.
When the triplets had returned to their room after the prank at dinner they were shocked and delighted to discover that Basil, the flying fox, had become real as well due to his bond with his mistress giving him a physical form as well. Tamamo and Tanith were also happy that their playmate had a physical from.
The Weasley twins had become great friends with the Saxton triplets and Black twins, so the five Marauders were considering letting them become part of the Marauders. The five knew that they wouldn't be at Hogwarts once they retrieved the stone so they needed someone, or more than one, to carry on the legacy of the Marauders, they were even planning on corrupting Neville to become a prankster, maybe Draco too.
Matilda and Harry were using the skills taught to them by Kenny and Martha to avoid Ron as he was still attempting to become their friend, they didn't confront him about it in case Dumbledore tried something to make them change their minds. Harry and Matilda were getting increasingly annoyed at hiding their potential, it caused them to go to the room of requirements every brake and after dinner to blow off their magic and stretch their limits. The Saxton triplets also regularly joined them.
Aria, like her sisters, found herself hating Quirrel as soon as she saw him during their lesson. They highly suspected something was deeply wrong with him for them to hate him so much without cause, and they resolved to find it out.
The Saxton triplets were looking for the Weasley twins, they and the Black twins had finally decided to tell them the truth about the Marauders and invite them to become Marauders themselves. Using Vida's keen nose and Aria's ability to find and read auras, they tracked them down to an abandoned classroom. The girls were just about to knock when they heard worried whispers behind the closed door, their natural curiosity and mischievousness got the better of them and they listened in on the conversation.
"It's getting stronger, I don't know how much longer we can keep it a secret." said one of them that they recognised as George.
"It's going to be okay…" Fred tried to consol his twin.
"No. It's not. One day we won't be able to hide it and everyone will find out, and you know as much as I do that mom won't accept us if she finds out, then our rights will be taken away from us and we'll be kicked out of school."
As the twins went on the Saxton triplets grew more and more worried for the boys, it sounded like something was happening to them that was bad. They couldn't listen in any longer and Layla knocked. They knew the twins would be stiffening even though they couldn't see them.
"W-who's there?" Fred asked, trying to conceal his fear.
"It's us." Vida said. "We want to talk to you."
"Now…now's not a good time."
"Boy's open the door."
"No."
"Don't you trust us? Are you doing something embarrassing in there?" Aria asked while trying to joke.
The sisters could hear the boys laugh slightly.
"We do trust you, it's just something personal, and it's not embarrassing." George answered.
Aria used her powers to read the twins' auras as she felt something off about them.
"Vida, their auras, they're fluctuating." Aria whispered to her sister.
"We're just going through some changes we're unsure of." George said.
"It's puberty, isn't it, our aunt said it's nothing to worry about." Aria said.
"You have no idea." Vida's heightened hearing picked up the twins' quiet response.
"That's it. Fred, George, open this door or we're coming in by force!" Vida told them.
"No, please don't." they begged.
"Fred, George, whatever you're going through, we'll understand." Layla said through her radio.
"You won't." they answered.
"We will, please." all three girls begged.
They heard sighs before the door was unlocked.
"Just…don't freak out." they heard the boys say.
When the girls opened the door they saw the twins sitting on a desk with their heads down. The girls were surprised to see that the boys had gained a few aspects since they last saw them, both had pointed ears, long red spaded tails coming out from behind them, and small horns coming out from just behind their hair-line on the front of their heads.
"Imps." was the word the girls whispered.
The girls slowly walked towards the twins, making sure to close and lock the door behind them, allowing their Fae features to show as they walked forward.
"Fred, George, please look at us." the triplets pleaded softly.
Slowly, the boys raised their heads to look at the girls, they gasped in shock and quickly faced the girls when they spotted the girls' Fae features. The girls saw that the boys also had small fangs and their eyes were like a cat's
"You don't have to be afraid boys, we know what you're going through." Vida told them while her sisters nodded.
The boys looked relieved, scared and curious.
"What's happening to us?" Fred asked.
"You have strong Fae blood that's activating, now that you're hitting puberty your Fae inheritance is changing your body and unlocking your capabilities." Layla explained.
"What I'm wondering is how it's happening in the first place. No offence, but the Weasley family doesn't seem like the type to have strong enough Fae blood to make both of you Imps, an even if it did you're older brothers would have it too, which they don't." Vida said. "So, how did you become Fae?" she addressed the twins.
"We think t happened a few years ago." said Fred.
"We were out playing in a field when we came across a fairy who had fallen and torn one of her wings." said George.
"We helped her by taking her back to her home with her guiding the way."
"There we met a small group of fairies that was her tribe."
"They were grateful for us returning that fairy and allowed us to come to their village anytime we wanted to play with them."
"We played with them for a long time until the village had to move due to their environment changing too rapidly for them to adapt."
"As a goodbye present the elders of the village gave us a gift, they said it was a great blessing that we would come to understand once we became the right age."
"And now we're like this."
The triplets smiled at the twins.
"The fairies must have loved you both very much to give you such a wondrous gift, it takes a lot of power to make someone a Fae when they weren't one originally, much less two." Vida told them.
"The fairies wouldn't have seen you becoming Fae as a problem, most Fae don't live in society like we do, they live free an where their body, mind and spirit tell them to go, living amongst nature and living off the land." Aria said.
As Aria said this the triplets and twin's faces gained a dreamy look of longing before quickly snapping out of it.
"It's still getting harder and harder to hide our new aspects, if it's found out we're Imps, as you called us, we'll be kicked out of school because we're not human and our mother will freak, she views Fae as dark creatures who steal away children and such." Fred said.
"There is a school that takes in all magic children despite who or what they are, they can take you in." Layla told them, her lips not moving.
It was then that the Weasley twins noticed that Layla's voice actually came from her small radio on her belt.
"Really?" they asked.
"Really." Vida said. "We went there before coming here. It's called Muse academy, if you're discovered and kicked out of school or house they'll gladly take you in, you won't have to hide who your are.
"It seems to good to be true." George said.
"That's what most people say when they're told about the academy." Aria said.
"Anyway. The reason we came here in the first place was to ask you two to become part of the Marauders." Vida said.
"Why are you…" Fred broke off.
Then the twins realised that the triplets were the three maiden Marauders from the matching profiles.
"You three are the maiden Marauders?" they asked.
"Yep." the triplets said with a smile.
"But that mean the other two Marauders would be Harry and Matilda."
The triplet nodded.
"Wicked."
"Oh, here, use these." Vida said while handing the twins a bracelet with a charm on each of them.
The twins looked sceptically at the sisters before putting them on, they was amazed when their Fae features suddenly seemed to disappear.
"The charms hide your Fae looks, but as you get more powerful it'll get harder for the enchantment to hide them." Vida explained.
The triplets then activated the charms on their charm bracelets that hid their Fae features.
"Thank you." said the twins.
The triplets suddenly found themselves pulled into a hug by the twins.
"Your welcome." the triplets said as they pulled out of the hug.
"We'll gladly become Marauders." Fred said. "We'll get to work on our Marauder names straight away."
"By the way, what type of Fae are you?" George asked.
"I'm a Kitsune." Vida said.
"I'm a Angel." Layla said.
"And I'm a siren." Aria said.
"Wicked." the twins said again.
I realised it would be very tedious and difficult to explain the different Fae in the context of the story, so I have made the 'Fae files' to explain them. Each Fae who appears in the story shall be explained in the files. You can simply find the Fae files on my page or in the same crossover section as this story.
