Bowser Jr. was doing some renovations on the outside of the house he shared with Waluigi in Seaside Hill, having officially moved away from the random meadows of yesteryear, due to them being transformed into city blocks for Mushroom City. Knocking his hammer into the wood, the prince of the Koopas turned around and squinted his eyes to see the female, pink robed Ice Climber, Nana, approaching him. The young, yellow skinned reptile folded his arms together, wondering what was up with her appearing.
"Hey, BJ. So I heard that you're playable in Smash now." Nana admitted as she held her hands together, also holding her mallet with both of her hands at the same time, redundancy aside.
"...Yes. And you're one of those characters I heard that got removed." Bowser Jr. stated as he rubbed his chin, holding a smaller hammer in his right hand. "I take it that you kind of filled in for Toadette's spot in Smash."
"Well... kinda. I existed way before she was even born." Nana giggled as she opened her eyes, looking at the house as she tilted her head back down to Bowser Jr. "Anyway, who is your roommate?"
"Oh? Waluigi." Bowser Jr. stated with a roll of his left hand, shaking his head. "That idiot said he was going out to get groceries. Wonder what his excuse will be for taking this long."
Waluigi was hoping for a good excuse to get himself out of the mess that he got into, rushing from the angry mob of Smash Run enemies, of which among them was a nasty Clubberskull who smashed all the vehicles in the way, as he was shopping at Earthbound's Fourside. Waluigi dashed up the stairs of the main skyscraper that dominated the battle stage used for Smash Bros matches, with him pulling out his cellphone and dialing up R.O.B.
"Come on, pick up..." Waluigi remarked as he felt the skyscraper shake, seeing various enemies fly up to greet with him.
"Hello? This is R.O.B. speaking." R.O.B. spoke through the phone as he was cleaning the inside of the house.
"Hurry! Contact the Smashers, and Assist Trophies! And Pokeball Pokemon too, while you're at it!" Waluigi exclaimed as he reached the rooftop, to see the flying enemies glancing at him with sinister grins, turning back to see the other enemies rushing up the stairs. "Because I'm in a rough jam, and I can't-"
Waluigi couldn't finish due to a Bullet Bill colliding into him, causing the other enemies to jump on him as he screamed, trying his best to fight back using his tennis racket, but it not being enough to hold off the enemies as they kept pouring in from all directions, overtaking the entire stage as a result.
