I know I said I'd do a Han and Anakin chapter, and I will! I just wanted to do this one shot first hehe.

Yes, you will get your stay away from my daughter one-shot, don't worry. I'm just trying to keep these one-shots truly random, hehe.

Sooooooooo...

Review!

Review review review!

And of course...

Enjoy!

Padme jumped slightly whenever strong arms suddenly wrapped around her, though she was quick to relax and giggled softly whenever her husband buried his face against her neck. She could feel him smiling even as he planted a few small kisses down her neck.

"You're home," she said cheerfully, turning around to face Anakin. His bright blue eyes sparkled mischievously as he pulled her close to him.

"Well, there's nothing much going on at the Jedi Temple today, and if they really need me they know they can call me," Anakin said with a light shrug. Padme frowned, glancing around the vendetta for the young, angelic terrors that usually followed Anakin when he came home.

"Where's the twins?" she inquired.

Anakin grinned evilly. "Obi-Wan has them."

"All by himself?" Padme asked disapprovingly.

"Master Fisto is there too," Anakin said defensively, still smiling.

Padme rolled her eyes. "Ani, you know how those two can be…"

"Padme…relax," Anakin said reassuringly, pulling her close to him and rocking her gently back and forth. "I'm sure Obi-Wan and Kit can handle the twins for a while. Besides, I wanted to do something special for you…" he murmured.

Padme blushed as he nuzzled her neck, glancing at the datapad on the couch. "I don't know Ani, I mean, I'm very busy…"

Anakin chuckled softly. "You and your work; I know you haven't forgotten what today is."

"No…no I haven't," Padme admitted as Anakin pulled away, looking deep into her dark brown eyes as he rubbed gentle circles against her cheek with his thumb. He leaned in, giving Padme a deep kiss that stole her breath away. After several moments, he finally pulled back.

"It's just you and me today," he assured her with that smirk she loved so much.

With that, Padme relented. "Oh, all right," she said with a small laugh.

Anakin grinned, taking no time in sweeping her off of her feet and holding her bridal style. Padme gave a joyful shout of surprise, earning a laugh from Anakin as he whisked her away to the bedroom for some private time that they didn't get enough of these days.

Obi-Wan sighed as he felt a little hand tugging on the hair from the back of his head. Maybe if he ignored it, than the yanking would end.

After several moments, a high pitched whine joined the incessant yanks.

"Obi!"

Obi-Wan scrunched up his face, doing his hardest to pretend as if he hadn't heard.

"Obi!" it said again, drawing out the vowels.

He liked them so much better when they were asleep on days like these.

A particularly painful tug followed that thought, and Obi-Wan could no longer ignore Her Majesty.

He sighed, cracking open an eye and turning his head to fix the little Skywalker with a raised eyebrow. "Yes Leia?"

The three year old was latched onto his back like a leech, and showed no sign of letting go. She gave him a toothy grin. "I'm thirsty," she said innocently, wrapping her arms in a choke hold around Obi-Wan's neck.

He couldn't help but smile a little at the young girl's innocence, and he leaned over so that she would be stable as he stood up. "All right then, let's go find you something to drink."

"Yay, yay! Giddy-up!" Leia shouted, jabbing her little heels into Obi-Wan's sides. He winced. He really wished she wouldn't do that…

The door slid open with a simple wave of Obi-Wan's hand, and he gave an amused smile at the sight that met him in his temple quarter's small living room. Kit Fisto was entertaining little Luke, who had a strong hold on two of Kit's head tails so that the three year old was dangling a few feet off the floor. Luke giggled like a madman, swaying above the ground while Kit made a show of trying to get the little troublemaker off of his back.

"Come here you," Kit growled playfully, spinning in a circle like a dog chasing its tail. Luke shrieked in excitement, his little hands clutching the head tails tighter as if it would assure he wouldn't get caught. Kit looked up when he saw Obi-Wan emerging from his bedroom, Leia continuing to dig her heels into his sides. Kit grinned at Obi-Wan.

"I see the other one has finally awakened," Kit chuckled.

"Yes, and she's rather thirsty," Obi-Wan noted, making his way over to the small kitchen area.

"That sounds like a good idea; what do you say little one? Would you like something to drink?" Kit asked, angling his head so that he could see Luke.

The little boy dropped to the floor immediately. "Yeah!" he said exuberantly, running to catch up with Obi-Wan as fast as his little legs could carry him. Luke barreled into Obi-Wan's legs, latching on with a grip that rivaled his sister's grip. Obi-Wan had to stop and focus his attention on hobbling with one twin latched around his neck and waist, the other latched around his leg.

"Do you think you could lend me a hand?" Obi-Wan asked Kit with a small scowl, trying to navigate his way to the refrigerator where he had that special container of bribb juice he kept on hand just for the twins. Considering it had been a favorite of Anakin's since the man was still Obi-Wan's Padawan, Obi-Wan tended to have to chase their father away from the beverage. The twins had obviously inherited their father's love of the drink, and he was loath of the day that he didn't have some of the drink on hand.

At least he always kept blumfruit juice on hand as well, just in case.

Kit chuckled. "No, no, it seems you've got this covered Kenobi. Besides, this is way too amusing for me to end."

"Juice! Juice!" Luke squawked from below, his grip on Obi-Wan's leg tightening.

"I'm getting it, patience little one," Obi-Wan said, reaching for the refrigerator door. He yelped when he suddenly felt little teeth sink into his ankle, and he stared in slight alarm down at Luke, who was looking innocently up at him, teeth imbedded into Obi-Wan's ankle.

"Your father didn't warn me you were a biter; and an ankle biter at that," Obi-Wan grumbled while Kit howled with laughter. Obi-Wan rolled his eyes. "I can tell this one has just as much patience as his father; I pity the fool who takes him on as a Padawan learner. They'll have their hands full."

"Didn't Skywalker ask to train his son himself when he reached the necessary age?" Kit asked curiously. Obi-Wan grinned devilishly.

"Oh yes; karma comes in the most unexpected ways," Obi-Wan said, eliciting another chuckle from Kit. Another sharp bite had Obi-Wan jumping slightly. "All right! All right! I'm getting it!" he protested with a slight gag as Leia decided to tighten her grip on him, digging around in the fridge for the ammunition that would hopefully keep the twins at bay long enough for Obi-Wan and Kit to enjoy a little more peace and quiet.

Hopefully they would not have to babysit that much longer.

Anakin was practically glowing as he made his way towards Obi-Wan's quarters. Time alone with Padme was always appreciated, and today had been a special day. With everything that had happened and with how hectic the twins could be, he fully believed that they deserved the six hours of alone time they had just enjoyed. However, he already missed his princess and pilot, and he wanted them back in his arms now.

He came to a halt outside of Obi-Wan's quarters, raising an eyebrow at the ruckus that could be heard inside the small living quarters.

Perhaps six hours had been a little too long for Obi-Wan…Anakin himself had been horrified when Padme left him alone with the twins for four hours.

Anakin waved a hand, letting the door slide open to reveal a scene that Anakin vowed never to let Obi-Wan live down.

Master Fisto was sitting on the couch laughing hysterically while he fiddled with a broken toy, attempting to fix it for the two terrors that had pinned the other Jedi Master to the floor. Obi-Wan was lying prone on his stomach while Leia pulled at the elder Jedi's hair and bounced on his back. Luke, meanwhile was apparently inventing a new type of acrobatics on Obi-Wan's legs, giggling as he kept the Jedi Master from doing much to free himself, bouncing up and down.

"I give up, I surrender, you win," Obi-Wan groaned. Leia fisted a large chunk of the elder Jedi's hair and yanked up sharply. "Ouch!" Obi-Wan yelped.

"Having fun Master?" Anakin asked in amusement, his eyes twinkling. Obi-Wan raised his head, partially at the sound of Anakin's voice and partially because Leia had started leaning back, both hands fisted in the Jedi's ginger hair. Relief seeped into Obi-Wan's expression.

"Look! It's your father!" Obi-Wan cried out. "Daddy! Go see your daddy!"

The twins looked up instantly, distracted from their current conquest against the Jedi Master at his words. "Daddy!" Luke shouted, scrambling up off of Obi-Wan's legs and rushing towards Anakin.

Anakin crouched down, arms spread wide so that he could wrap the twins up in his arms. Obi-Wan yelped again as Leia crawled down the poor man's face to get to her father, squishing his face into the floor. Anakin laughed, hefting both twins up in his arms and grinning down at his former Master, oblivious to the sharp yanks on his hair; he'd grown used to it by now. The twins buried their faces in his shoulders.

"They weren't too much trouble, were they?" he asked innocently. Obi-Wan moaned and Fisto chuckled.

"Not at all," Fisto said.

"Next time you want me to babysit, I want a line up so that they're given to someone else every hour; I don't think I could survive another six hours with these two, even with help," Obi-Wan mumbled into the floor.

"Surely two three year olds aren't that much trouble?" Anakin asked mischievously.

"One of you is enough of a handful Anakin; two Skywalkers are too much. Especially if one of them is a biter and the other has to have her way no matter what; the meltdown she had when I told her we didn't have any ice-cream will go down in Galactic History."

"Just imagine when there's three of us running around with Force training and lightsabers," Anakin said slyly.

Obi-Wan groaned. "How will the Galaxy survive?"

Anakin laughed. "Well, thanks for watching them anyway; and don't worry about the biting, Padme and I are working on breaking him of the habit."

"He's got the will of both of his parents; good luck."

Anakin snickered. "Thanks again Obi-Wan; Master Fisto. I'll see you both later."

Obi-Wan grunted in response and Anakin swept out the door, listening as the twins chatted excitedly in his ear about their wonderful stay at Uncle Obi-Wan's.

Anakin chuckled. Uncle Obi-Wan…he'd have to tell Obi-Wan about that later. At least the twins liked him; it could be worse and they could hate him.

Then these babysitting experiences would truly be torture!
