Chapter 13: Misty and her Madness
Iris sat there; her large chocolaty gaze staring into the icy abysses Misty possessed. Neither of them broke eye contact, even though it was obvious that Iris was wavering as her eyes struggled to get used to the bright lighting that filled the once dark room.
"Well, ladies I have to hand it to you. You three did a damn good job capturing this little monster." Iris ignored the insult for she was more concerned with who Misty was speaking to but was answered when a trio of squeals was heard.
"We did a good job!"
"You really think so?!"
"Oh, thank you Princess Misty!"
And like the little mindless minions they were the three girls, the lemonhead and the traitors popped out from behind Misty. Their faces bore wide smiles of pleasure at Misty's praise and the lemonhead started to fish for more complements but Misty shut her up with a sharp snap of her fingers.
"Door, now." The redhead's demand was fulfilled and the door that she and her minions had walked through was closed. The room was engulfed in darkness for a brief moment and Iris was worried the devil girl would use the lack of light to torture her, but thankfully Misty snapped for the lights to be put on and it was done at once.
Naturally Iris cringed when the light illuminated the surrounding area, but after blinking a few times her eyes adjusted and her dark chocolate eyes when wide with amazement. Iris wasn't in a dark, damp and disgusting dungeon like she had assumed Misty and her slaves had locked her in. Instead it was a magnificent hotel room!
As expected the room was large and filling the space were two queen sized beds both decorated with fluffy white pillows and blankets that were a distinctive dark ocean blue color with a dazzling design of bubbles and the sun shining through the water displayed on it. Sitting between the beds was a table and on it was a large basket filled with all those cookies, candies, scented soaps, candles and other complementary things hotels give upon a person's arrival. There was also a large flat screen TV, a mini kitchen towards the left, a window that had a navy colored curtain draped across it, and a door which Iris guessed led to an elaborate bathroom. But as she looked to see where she sat, Iris found that Misty had placed her in the far corner of the room, away from the window but facing the door. It was almost like the exit was taunting her to attempt to leave even though it was obvious that she couldn't. Misty and her gang had tied Iris to a chair with rough ropes and the tightest knots Iris had even encountered and sitting on the wall beside her was the temperature gauge, its screen read that the AC was on full blast, and vent on the floor blowing the frigid air onto her from below. Looks like Misty remembered about Iris's fear of the cold.
"Nice hotel room, isn't?" Misty went and plopped down onto one of the beds, a smirk on her lips as she leaned forwards and rested her chin when she linked her fingers together. "It just so happens that my special area was here at Slowpoke Suites." The red head then pointed out that images of the water/psychic type Pokémon were all over the room. There were tiny figurines placed here and there, a plushy toy in the complementary basket, images of them on the lining of the walls, Slowpokes were even embroidered on the fluffy white bathrobe Misty was currently wearing.
"There was a large Slowpoke shaped fountain out front and that's when we knew this was Princess Misty special area!" Chirped the girl in yellow.
At that the one in pink giggled, "I can't believe that they attempted to give Princess Misty one of those basic rooms!"
"I know right," the one in green agreed.
"But I'm Princess Misty," the red head girl said elegantly placing a hand on her chest. "And when I asked for the finest room in the hotel could offer, they almost didn't give it to me," And then as if this was addressed to the purple haired teen she sneered and added. "But like I said, I'm a princess and princesses always get their way."
The tone she used caused Iris to shiver but this time it wasn't from the AC's brutally cold air. Thankfully the movement was enough to break Iris from the strange silence that had taken hold of her. "W-What's…what's going on here Misty?" Iris asked her voice scratchy from her previous screaming, making Iris wish that she had some water to quench her thirst and that her hands were free so she could wipe away the tears that still stained her cheeks. She didn't want to seem so pitiful and weak in front of such a monster. "Why did you have your mindless slaves come and attack me? Why did you tie me up in here?"
Icy eyes blinked and a smirk of utter amusement curled on Misty's lips. "Do you really think I wanted to bring a wild beast like you into a civilized place like a magnificent hotel?" She asked in a mocking tone as she got up and stood in front of Iris with her hands on her hips, but stayed about two feet away as if she was being cautious for some reason.
Iris clenched her teeth at the insult. "Misty that doesn't answer my question!"
But the red head once again ignored Iris's statement and instead twisted her lips into a scowl. "How dare you snap at me, you freak! You, out of all people, should be grateful that I got you out of that dump you were using as your special area! In fact you should be thanking me for bringing back to civilization!"
Iris growl and opened her mouth to verbally kick Misty's scrawny ass when the giggles of the three girls cut through the air. "Princess Misty is right, you should be grateful for her kindness," the one in yellow started and then gasped, pressing her hands against her cheeks as if she was distressed and turned to her two companions. "Oh Arcues, maybe she's unhappy because we removed the wild beast from her natural habitat!"
The new insult of being labeled as nothing more than an animal stabbed Iris hard in the heart and the laughing of Misty and her goons only made the pain worse and her brown eyes filled with unshed tears. All day she had been taking this verbal abuse head on and after a countless amount of blows Iris had lost all the strength to mask her emotions. So lowering her head Iris just let them laugh, she had no desire to yell at them to shut up her voice was practically gone from all the screaming anyhow.
"Whether the jungle beast is upset or not isn't my problem," Iris heard Misty say.
"Why should it be you worrying about her feelings anyways?" the voice, Iris recognized, belonged to the pink haired girl and her tone sounded like each word was directed at the purple haired teen.
"Princesses, like you, shouldn't stress over petty things like that!" the one in green said in a tone a fan of a celebrity would use.
Hearing her so called 'friends' say such things made a few more tears roll down her face and Iris winced as the pain of betrayal that sat in her chest worsened. And even though she knew she should just forget them, Iris couldn't help but feel upset for how they betrayed her! They led her on, and left her blind to their loyalty to the red head monster. But Iris cast the accursed thought from her mind because what she heard next caught her attention.
"I really am brilliant! Wait, what am I saying? I'm a genius, besides I'm a princess perfect in every way!" Iris heard Misty gloat in her snobby voice as she gritted her teeth, wishing she strangle the redhead. "Having thought up my brilliant plan was the easy part, and even though it was a pain in the ass to have my girls hunt down such a savage animal like you. It was worth it."
"Worth it?" The words flew from Iris's mouth before she could stop them. Lifting her head, despite her tears that she wished she could wipe from her cheeks, Iris narrowed her eyes at Misty.
And even though she hadn't asked for an explication the red head sauntered towards the girl tied up to the chair and with a look of dominance on her face Misty confirmed it. "Yes, Iris," the sound of Misty using her name made Iris blink in shock but she was startled even more when the girl with red hair lean forwards and rested one hand on the back of her chair as her icy gaze stared at her. "It was worth it. All of it. Everything was absolutely worth it."
But at this Iris snorted. "So capturing me and tying me up, was worth it?" it was now Iris's turn to give a smile, causing Misty to frown. "The way I see it, is that your only reason for doing what you did was because you're intimidated by me."
The red head reeled back, and as if she was been struck in the face she gave a sound of disbelief, her mouth agape. "What in Arcues's name gave you that idea?!" She screeched. "A princess like moi would never be intimidated by a beast like you!"
"Oh, stop trying to put on a brave face and admit it Misty!" Iris spat. The gasps from the red headed monster and her minions only fueled Iris's fire and a smile of confidence appeared on her face. "You, I and everyone else in Unova knows that I'm better than you!"
"That's not true!"
"Then why else would you have your mindless slaves go through all that trouble to hunt down and capture a 'wild beast' like me?"
"B-Because…it was worth it!"
"No because you're afraid of the competition! I'm in the lead right now and all your selfish ass wanted to do was get me out so you could win!" Iris asked. She waited for an answer, but her assertive tone and truthful words seemed to shut Misty up. She just stood there her lips in a tight scowl while her face started turning the same shade of ugly red as her hair. "I can't wait to bust out of here so I can finally show everyone how much of a bitch you really-"
"Shut her up!" Misty demanded with a childish stomp of her foot.
And like the mindless slaves they were the girl went to work and attack Iris with a thick piece of cloth. As Iris wriggled and snapped her jaws at the lemonhead and the two she once called friends Iris could see Misty smirking, enjoying every last second until her minions successfully wedged the cloth into her mouth and secured it.
"Like I said," The red head monster sneered in her evil way as she stood over the helpless purple haired teen with a smirk of triumph on her face. "A princess always gets what she wants." Then leaning forwards and roughly titled Iris's face upwards so her icy blue gaze met Iris's angered chocolaty one she added in a tone of pure satisfaction. "And as a princess, I was never intimidated by the likes of you." It was a lie Iris could see it was. "But if you must know the only reason why I trapped you here was because…I couldn't let the likes of you win."
Iris's eyes narrowed into slits as her realized her assumption was right. "Yourth a cowardlyth bitch! You shouldth even be callthed a princessth-"
Smack!
The sound rang in her ears for a split second before Iris actually felt a stinging pain her cheek. The purple haired girl was so stunned it took her brain a moment to processes that Misty had slapped her without the slightest bit of hesitation. Blinking from the shock Iris looked up with the sudden fear that the red head monster was going order for her to be tortured but she was taken aback when Misty slammed her hand onto the back of her chair, nearly tipping it over, and lean in so close that the growl that emitted for the red head's throat made goose bumps rise on Iris's arms.
"I'M PRICNESS MISTY! AND I'M THE ONLY ONE WHO DESERVES THE TITLE OF PRINCESS! NO ONE ELSE!" She yelled in Iris's face in an earsplitting volume spraying saliva onto her stinging cheek.
What came next was a laugh. One of those maniacal laughs only those crazy asylum people on movies could produce. And as the red head slowly pulled away a gleam flickered through her icy eyes a gleam Iris could only define as…insane!
Stealing a glance over towards Misty's pawns Iris was rather startled to see uneasy looks on their faces as their leader made her way over to the bed and reclaimed her previous seat. And while her laugh simmered down to a soft chuckle, Misty rested her chin on laced fingers, elbows resting on her thighs, as a sinister grin curled her lips. "Yes, that's right…I'm princess. Only me, and no one else," The words came out in a low uncanny way, making all that heard wonder if the redhead was talking to someone in particular or if she was speaking to herself. "The wild beast can't win…that Jacy girl can't win...none of those other girls can win! And as soon as I, Princess Misty, wins this Princess Festival day Pageant not only will I gain the title of Princess of Unova," the gleam of insanity brightened in those icy eyes as Misty abruptly got to her feet. "I'll be crowned Supreme Regional Princess!" the redhead declared as she threw her head back and cackled in an evil bone chilling way. Iris felt her skin crawl as the laugh rose in volume; it was just about to become overwhelmingly loud when the laugh was suddenly cut short.
"Supreme Regional Princess?" it was the fangirl wearing the color yellow who asked the questioned as she looked at the redhead, a puzzled expression on her face. "What is that?"
But before their leader could answer the other two, the one in pink and the other in green, quickly shook their heads as the one in green said. "There's no time for an explanation. Being crowned Supreme Regional Princess seems like something Princess Misty deservers!" but even though she said this Iris could see the troubled look they now had in their eyes as the glanced at the redhead they so loyally followed. It almost made them appear uneasy but at the same time curious.
"She's right," the pink haired one agreed with a small smile. "Besides we have to get going Princess Misty, round three will be starting in less than ten minutes."
Even with her mouth gagged the purple haired teen was still able to make a sound of shock. Being tied up here Iris had almost forgotten about the last round of the Princess of Unova Pageant and she was relieved to see that she hadn't missed it due to being ambushed. 'But…what if…what if Misty leaves me here?' Iris thought, panic pumping through her veins. The redhead already had her gagged, tied up and hidden in this room and Iris knew that Misty was coldhearted enough to keep it that way until the entire pageant was over. But would she? 'I can't miss round three. I-I've worked so hard. But with no one knowing where I am…how can I get out?' Iris's mind whirled with solutions to get out of the situation and she was just about to, begrudgingly, go with begging Misty to let her go when the redhead gave an unexpected answer.
"It's alright, there's no rush," She plopped back down on the bed and eyed the prisoner in the chair. "Thanks to my brilliance, I sent one of my other girls to go buy us an hour or so, since I had no choice but to deal with the ugly likes of you." Grinning to herself as she concededly flipped her shoulder length hair she added. "They wouldn't dare start round three now that Elesa's dealing with bright neon green hair, from the hair dye I ordered to be added to the hair product she uses to keep her bangs and those atrocious pigtails in check. That being said I'll have just enough time to shed some light on the subject of my ultimate goal of being Supreme Regional Princess…"
And so, Misty began to explain everything to the prisoner in the chair and her curious fangirls. It turned out that gaining the title of Supreme Regional Princess was a big honor, came with lots of benefits but most of all, as Misty stated, gaining this title basically gave one the popularity statues of a celebrity! Attention, fans, money, fame, publicity, power! Getting all that overnight, Misty emphasized, was the one thing she wanted, no correction, needed and just explaining all this sent the redhead into another fit of laughter, the insanity gleaming in her icy eyes again.
"By this time tomorrow, the media would have heard of me and how fabulous I am!" Misty cackled as she drummed her fingertips together evilly. "And being the youngest to be crowned Supreme Regional Princess only makes it better! Ahahaha! People everywhere will know my name! They'll love me!"
"Buth that's onlyth ifth you winth!" Iris was able to say around the gag in her mouth.
"I WILL WIN!" screamed Misty, shooting up from her spot on the bed and in one swift movement shoved the chair Iris sat up against the wall. The sudden force casued Iris's head to snap back, slamming the back of her head into the wall, causing her vision to blur for a few moments. She was barely able to clear it when the purple haired teen jumped slightly when a hand roughly grabbed her face, flinched when she felt sharp fingernails digging into her soft cheeks as icy eyes met her chocolaty brown ones. "I ALWAYS WIN!" the redhead monster informed before her expression turned from enraged to humorous as the gleam of insanity reappeared in her eyes. Then, in a volume for only herself and her prisoner to hear, Misty hissed. "I'll win, no matter what. Even if you do get out of here, I'll obliterate you, and basically wipe your existence off the face of this earth," she then flashed an evil grin. "Just like I did to all those other girls that got in my way…"
"Other girls?" The thought Iris was thinking was voiced by the fangirl in pink. Her eyes pale pink eyes blinking curiously at her leader. "Whatever do you mean Princess Misty?"
Icy eyes narrowed somewhat before she rolled them in realization, "Oh right, you three are new to my group of fangirls," she said, indicating that the three girls were in fact clueless to what she meant by 'other girls'. To clarify she said without hesitation. "I mean the other contestants that went up against me in the previous pageants I participated in," Releasing Iris's face in a rough manner Misty moved away from her prisoner and then, as if no one but herself was in the hotel room, Misty chuckled softly. "Oh, those poor souls…I have to admit they put up a rather good fight against me. But being a princess, a real princess and the crown was mine. That being so knocking them out of the pageant was a something that just had to be done."
"Whatfth?!" Iris's cry out shock came out muffled but there was no other need to emphasize because the redhead monster's fangirls express their surprise in small gasped.
"Y-You….knocked them out of the contest?" the yellow asked her pale blue eyes narrowing slightly.
"Of course I did," Misty said her tone nonchalant as she casually went over to the one the gift baskets and chose a piece of saltwater taffy that was crafted into the shape of a dewdrop and was decoratively wrapped.
"But, P-Princess Misty, isn't that against the rules?" the fangirl in green quizzed as a gleam, of an unknown emotion Iris couldn't pinpoint, flashed though her emerald eyes.
"Tch, only if you get caught of course." The redhead informed, eyeing the dewdrop shaped candy before popping the entire thing into her mouth with a grin.
"Wow," the last fangirl in pink mused, watching the redhead with wide eyes as she chewed the candy with pleasure. Smiling a smile that made Iris wonder if it was real or not, she added. "You've must have been rather clever to get them disqualified without being caught."
Loving the attention Misty smirked. "Correction, I'm more than clever I'm a genius," she paused to swallow the chewy taffy before adding. "And taking those girls out in the Johto, Honnen, and Shinnoh Princess Pageants just shows that I'm superior to all those pitiful wanna be princesses that I went up against." Her icy gaze turned and locked with the unease chocolate gaze as she went on to explain how winning her previous crowns and titles came to be. And Iris listened, bond to her chair, shivering from the cold air of the AC, but she barely felt it when the heat of rage burned through her at what came out from the redhead's mouth.
It turned out that Misty was more of a hunter than a participant in the previous pageants she was in. All she did was cheat her way through the rounds presented to her, just like Iris had witness her do in round one when her fear was supposedly a Stoutland, and whatever rounds she could manage Misty would dominate at without giving a single shred of mercy. And after racing through the events, all the while fooling the crowd and judges with a smile, as she lied through her teeth, and a mask of perfection, that hid her dark and self-absorbed motives, Misty would find herself in finals. With being so close to obtaining another crown the redhead would be obsessed with doing whatever that was in her power to take down the contestant that posed as her biggest threat.
In Johto Misty had managed to abduct the girl that was standing in her way for the title of Princess of Johto and locked the innocent girl into a filthy closet for the rest of the pageant. With no places for air to come through and the closet being in an isolated area so no one came to her rescue, the girl could have been done for! But the worst part was that Misty didn't even bother to come back, hell, she even admitted that she didn't know what happened to girl since the girl's whereabouts were unknown after the pageant was over.
The redheaded monster continued on in Honnen and decided to get head start in picking out her next victim and after scoping out her target she started rumors throughout the area about the girl that posed a threat to her victory. The rumors Misty and her minions spread were believed and they got so bad by the time finals rounds started the audience and the judges were fed so many lies that they didn't have any room for the truth when the girl tried to deny all the horrible things that were said about her. In the end the other finalist was dragged out of the event are tears of humiliation rolling down her cheeks as everyone yelling hurtful things to her, and since it was the girl against Misty the redhead won the pageant by default upon the girl's departure.
Lastly in Shinnoh Misty decided to get creative and before the final round she and her goons were able to booby-trap the stage! And when the victim was almost completed with what could have been the winning performance the traps when off and the girl went flying off the stage, ruining her performance and injuring the innocent girl. Afterwards the pageant ended with an ambulance rushing to the injured girl's aid and another crown for Misty.
"So what are you planning to do with the wild beast, Princess Misty?" the one in yellow asked her tone full of interest.
The stuck up smirk reappeared on Misty's lips as she glanced over to the purple haired teen. "Honestly, I hadn't really thought about." She admitted with a shrug. "But why does it matter what I do? All I know is that as soon as I eliminate this last worthless excuses of a girl, I'll win this pageant and go on to be the greatest princess of all time!"
"You'll neverfth get away with thisfth!" Iris managed to say around the gag in her mouth, her chocolaty eyes burning with rage. "I don't carefth what you do to me, but as soon as I get out of here I'm going to maketh sure you and all your mindlessfth slaves pay for what you did! To mefth and all thosefth other girls!"
Misty scoffed, unfazed by the threat. "Who ever said you're getting out of here?" she questioned before adding in an icy tone. "But most of all who ever said anything about exploiting me? Even if you attempt to it won't work. I got eyes and ears everywhere and my girls will come after you before you can even put a single dent in me, Iris!"
The words sent Iris's heart sinking into her stomach. Could Misty actually do all that? And if she could, what would she tell her goons to do to keep her from telling people everything she just learned? Iris's mind was swarming with questions that she couldn't find answers to, but thankfully she was distracted from her thoughts for a quick moment.
"Girls, robe," Misty sharply said. As directed two of the girls, the ones in pink and green, rushed over had pulled the robe from the redhead's shoulders.
Gasps emitted from the three fangirls at the sight of the outfit their leader had hidden under the white Slowpoke embroidered robe. A sleeveless dress was tightly fitted on the redhead's frame the skirt part brushed her upper thigh, barely long enough to cover the little to no butt she had, with the hem lined with shiny fake diamonds. The dress was a deep ocean blue color with a swirl of lighter blue traveling from the skirt part and curling to a stop over her left breast. Or the pushup bra, Iris could see the lace hem peeping out from the top, which was giving her breast. To match with the dress paint, the same ocean blue as the dress, stood out against the redhead's pale skin and was done in a way to resemble what it looked like when something splashed through water's surface, to make it look better there was silver glitter and other shades of blue added here and there. On her feet Misty wore silver sandals that were bedazzled with jewels the blue color of her outfit to go along with her painted toes and fingers.
Iris blinked at the outfit as the fangirls gocked at it with squeals and hops of delight as Misty posed and basked in the attention. Honestly she thought it made the redhead look sluty, but it wasn't like she could voice her opinion. And even though she wouldn't ever wear something so tight, short and blue Iris had to admit that Misty's outfit made the pajamas she was currently wearing look like a joke. But she quickly shook her head, she wouldn't being wearing this for long once she started her performance…well if she managed to get to the stadium that is.
"Now, if you don't mind," Misty called over her shoulder to Iris as she headed for the door the yellow cladded fangirl was holding open, the skirt of her dress flowing like water as she moved. "I have to head to the stadium; I got a pageant and a well-deserved title to win!" The sound of her maniacal laugh was the last thing Iris heard before the lights were shut off and the only way out was shut and locked with a soft click.
Leaving Iris alone in the darkness of despair once more.
"Hey! Ash, you have to pay for that!" yelled a certain frazzled and exasperated green haired connoisseur. He tried to dash after his food stealing friend but he was halted by a group of girls' chanting the demand for cake.
"Don't worry Cilan!" Ash called back to his friend, his mouth stuffed with food and his mouth smudged with chocolate, "I owe you one!"
"Pika pi!"
"Ax axew!"
The Pokemon added waving happily to the connoisseur who had gone red in the face. He yelling something at them, but he was drowned out by the cake craving girls. Besides by the looks of his angered facial expression whatever he was saying probably wasn't very pleasant.
"I really hope that stunt doesn't come back to bite me in the ass," Ash muttered to himself as he swallowed down the last of the scrumptious chocolaty goodness of the double fudge cake he had ordered from the Stration Café. Sure he hadn't paid for it, but for what he had to put up with there, Ash felt like Cilan wouldn't miss out on just one payment of their yummy cake.
When Ash had gotten to the café he had spent ten minutes, just waiting to get a table. He managed to get one that was outside and as expected tons of girls were already there, jabbering away in their annoying voices as they stuffed their faces with food. The raven haired teen hadn't even gotten a chance to scan through the menu yet when he was interrupted by a few girls as they asked if he was Iris's girlfriend. Once again Ash had denied it, but his blushing face had said otherwise. However, the girls didn't seemed to care if he was Iris's special someone, they only wanted to know since it comfirmed the fact that Axew and Pikachu were the two "ultra darling sweetie pies" Iris had used in battle in round two. After that the girls snatched up the dragon and electric type and started to hug, snuggle, pet and even took selfies with the Pokemon. Originally Ash got a kick out of watching Pikachu and Axew struggle to get free, until the girls started to offer the two food!
It turned out that Ash didn't have to order anything for Pikachu and Axew since those girl's showered them with cookies, pokepuffs, chocolate and other appetizing treats. Being famished Ash had tried to sneak a cookie from Pikachu but all that got him was a purse to the head, that Ash was sure was full of bricks, and a scolding. "Don't you dare steal that cookie from this darling, Pikachu, you filthy boy!
Yes, it was rude. Yes it hurt like hell when she hit him with her two ton purse. And yes it took every bit of his will power not to do something he'd regret, but Ash managed mostly because Cilan had finally came to take his order. But by this time it was already 7:00! Ash had nearly bolted out of the café, but was stopped when an announcement came over the TV that had been showing recaps of what had already happened in the Princess of Unova. Apparently they were pushing back the performances for Round three to 7:45 because of an unexpected wardrobe issue Elesa was having or something like that, he was half listening. By 7:15 Ash's cake was finally presented to him and Ash had just indulged himself with the first magical bite of the chocolaty cake when one of the nearby girls demanded that Ash gave her some!
It was out pure shock, honest, either way Ash had stepped out of line and rudely told the girl to get her own piece of damn cake! That set off and chain reaction and Ash was sure he would get his ass whooped if it wasn't for Cilan who came rushing out to stop all the commotion. Thankfully Cilan had the girl's distracted enough so he could stuff the remaining double fudge cake in his mouth and leap over the fence that separated the outdoor eating area from the street, Pikachu and Axew perched on his shoulder. Ash had almost gone unnoticed if one of the girls hadn't yelled for Cilan to give her the same cake he had and pointed him out as he took off running.
Wiping his mouth with the back of his hand Ash continued to run down the street, "Cilan's probably gonna kill for doing that," licking some of the frosting from his fingers Ash smiled. "But then again it was totally worth it-hey!"
Ash was suddenly halted when he rammed into something. Staggering back, amber eyes blinked and then were met with narrowed icy ones. Great, Misty, the last thing he wanted to see.
Narrowed eyes were matched with an angry expression and even angrier words. "You idiot, don't you know to move out of the way when you see a princess coming! For the love of Arcues you and your filthy chocolate self could have ruined my round three winning outfit!" Flipping her shoulder length hair she added snobbishly. "Now as a boy on Princess Festival Day, Ashy, what do you have to say for yourself?"
Ash flinched, hating when girls pulled the Princess Festival Day card on him, and didn't answer. Not only because he hated Misty and her stuck up self, it was also because of the outfit she was currently sporting. The skirt was too short, her chest was obviously not all real and with how tight it was on her pin straight figure he was wondering how she was even breathing! Comparing it to the outfit he had last seen Iris in, with her curves the purple top displayed so perfectly and the nice flowing skirt that swished at her knees and best of all her lovely smile. It was completely unlike the outfit and unhappy scowl Misty wore, and made Ash wonder if the outfit was just bad or the person wearing it was making it look worse than it did on the hanger.
"Enjoying what you see here?" Misty's comment pulled Ash from his thoughts and he was a bit off putted by the smile curled on the redhead's lips as she placed her hands on her hips in an attempt to be attractive. Not knowing whether if he should really say what he thought, which could cost him his life on a day were Misty could have him pummeled to death, or say what she wanted to hear, and throw up later, he hesitated. This only gave the redhead time to laugh softly and swipe her pointer finger against Ash's bottom lip, taking the small glob of the chocolate that he had missed, and give it a taste with a small lick of her tongue. "I know, we're not always on good terms, Ashy," her voice came out more as a raspy hiss than an alluring whisper as she leaned closer, filling Ash's senses with the overpowering smell of her far to fragment perfume, "but I wouldn't mind letting you have a girl as gorges as me, for a while…" she let her sentence linger as she reached out her chocolate smudged finger to swipe the rest on his nose.
"Why would I ever go after a girl like you?" He pulled away from her outstretched finger, knowing it would be the better alternative than swatting her hand away from his face. Before Misty could allow words to accompany her shocked expression Ash added with a smug grin. "My mom always told me never to date girls with nasty attitudes, and she'd probably kill me if I went after one with a sluty taste in fashion too," he gave a small hand gesture to the redhead's unappealing outfit.
Icy eyes went ablaze with anger. "You…h-how dare you…say t-that to a princess!" Misty stammered, her face matching the color of her red hair from what he had said. Reaching forwards she roughly smeared the chocolate from her finger onto his shirt. "Besides I-I never wanted to be with a…a dumbass like you! Especially since you have that purple haired wild beast as your girlfriend!" She pushed past him, the expression on her face telling everyone that heard her last comment had been a lie.
Ash ignored that fact and went on to say, "Iris isn't a beast! She's beautiful, unlike some people I know," He didn't even bother to clarify that Iris wasn't officially his girlfriend…yet. But that didn't seem to matter, because the redhead whipped back around, a blue painted finger pointed directly at his face.
"You'll be sorry," Misty said, her voice laced with frustration. "Once you see all my beauty and talent out there on stage you'd wished you could have taken me when you had the chance." Ash had to stifle laughter knowing that what she said wouldn't ever be true, seeing and knowing this caused Misty to growl and stamp her foot in anger. "Whatever, you filthy good for nothing boy! I got guys lined up just waiting to be mine, and they'll fight for me when I'm crowned Princess of Unova!"
"Not if Iris wins instead," Ash said, not caring that his comment could push Misty over the edge and make a scene so he'd get his ass beat.
But instead of a scowl or a sound of loathing, Ash was taken aback slightly when a smirk of, what appeared to be triumph, curl onto Misty's lips. The smirk was followed by a laugh, one that reminded the raven haired teen of a mad scientists, as the redhead pushed past him and started off, glancing over her shoulder she called, "That wild beast win? Ha, it would take miracle for that to happen," an eerie gleam flashed through those lifeless icy eyes. "A real miracle."
And with that the redhead was gone, leaving Ash with the uncanny feeling of foreboding lingering n his chest.
What will happen to Iris? Will Ash come to her rescue? Or will Misty get her way and reach her diabolical goal of becoming Supreme Regional Princess? Find out in the next chapter of A Different Kind of Princess!
Okey dokey lokey guys that's all I got for this chapter. Since someone reviewed about giving Misty a motive for being so ruthless to win, I decided to give her one. And yeah, makes you hate that redhead just about…well a lot more doesn't it? It did for me. Anyway there will be two more chapters left to this fanfic and I hope to get them out as soon as I can! Until then:
