Chapter 9
"Who's he?" Natasha said, gesturing towards Harry with her head.
"That is my brother." Tony's metallic voice told her, shocking them.
"Harry."
"Your brother?" Natasha asked, "I thought you were an only child?" She was suspicious, many people had many reasons as to why they would pose as Tony Stark's long lost family. Although, looking closely at Harry should see the slight resemblance between the two.
"Yupp." Tony popped his 'p' while putting a metallic arm around his brother and dragging him closer.
"I'm guessing you're Agent Romanoff and Captain Rogers?" It's a pleasure to meet you." Harry held out a hand while eyeing the two figures in front of him. The both continued to look suspicious and he couldn't blame them, even he was suspicious at the start.
"Yeah." Natasha said and nodded her head while Steve, ever the gentleman shook the offered hand.
"How did you get here anyway?" Natasha asked, she had been trained in this century for longer after all.
"Huh? Oh, Tony gave me a ride. I guess I'll be leaving you now." He said while shifting his head to an angle where Tony can see the earpiece indicating that they should talk before introducing Harry to anyone else.
Turning back and heading back to the still crowded parking area, Harry disapparated back to the Tower, confident that the speaker would continue working and if not, well JARVIS was there and it was something he can finally use against Tony.
Settling quickly, he started talking.
"What were you thinking! Do you always have to be so reckless?" Harry demanded, knowing that his brother can hear him even if he decided to ignore the lecture.
"You can't talk! You threw off your disguise! Everything was under control!" Tony returned and soon the lecture turned into an argument which quickly turned into a fight of sorts. He now understood the fights that were frequently occurring within the Weasley household.
After several minutes both gave in knowing that the 'discussion' could last a very long time (they'd tried it before).
"I'm in the helicarrier now." Tony informed him quietly. "Go down to the garage, JARVIS is going to be breaking through SHIELDs security. I don't trust them." Tony told Harry his plan.
"Are you sure about that? Never mind, you are." Harry answered his own question and again the other end, Tony smirked.
"You're finally learning."
"Yeah okay. Whatever. What do you want me to do?"
"I want you, baby brother, to tell me if there's anything interesting that comes up before JARVIS has finished the process."
Giving in just this once, Harry knew there truly wasn't much that he could do when the rest of the team were unaware of his power and so settled himself for, most possibly, the only time that he would sit on the side.
For now.
Tony wasn't surprised to see that he was the last one to arrive. He did have to go through the process of taking his suit off and changing (he really should do something about that or he could Harry to work his magic on the suit, maybe Hermione though) and then make his way to the 'command centre' of the carrier.
He heard them discussing the tesseract and thermo-nuclear physics - which he gloated about becoming an expert at in one night - and decided it was time for them to finally meet.
"Dr. Banner! I'm a great fan of yours and how you... change..." He gestured wildly and awkwardly with his hands, trying to explain what he meant.
"Shut up." He growled quietly as he heard Harry chuckling in the background.
"Excuse me?" Banner asked, raising an eyebrow while fiddling with his glasses.
"What? Oh. Sorry. No I didn't mean you. I was just... thinking out loud. Really. Loud." He heard Harry's continued chuckles in the background and decided that the Avengers were going to meet someone special really soon if he didn't stop that.
Following Bruce, they made their way towards a lab where Loki's sceptre was laid out on a table and Bruce immediately began working while Tony lagged behind a bit.
"Anything yet?" He asked quietly.
"No. Not yet." Harry's accented voice came over the earpiece. "... You know, you have a lot of space here, why don't you ask Dr. Banner if he wants to come by the Stark Tower?"
"Hmmm... Yeah. Might do." Tony said as he finally stepped into the room, looking around the various screens before stepping behind Bruce and poking him just as the Captain walked in.
"You shouldn't be doing that! Do you think everything is a joke?" Steve exclaimed and frowned at Tony's actions.
"Only funny things." He immediately replied which was quickly followed by his brother's "I don't think that was such a good idea."
"It's alright," Bruce interjected,"I wouldn't be here if I couldn't handle pointy things."
"Doesn't change the fact that Stark needs to take things a little more seriously!"
"I am! I'm checking exactly who I'm working with before going any further and in a couple of minutes I'll know every dirty little secret that SHIELD is hiding," he saw Steve raise an eyebrow and open his mouth. "Captain. This is a secret organisation. He's the spy! His secrets have secrets!" Tony exclaimed before Steve stormed out of the room and after several seconds of indecision, headed in the direction opposite the centre. He was going to find out if what Stark was saying was true or not. The old fashioned way.
Harry decided that he'd spent enough time down in the garage. JARVIS was almost done and Tony would receive the information anyway, he couldn't see why he had to remain on the side if it was already agreed that he'd be taking a part in the coming fight. So why not join it now?
Not knowing the exact location of the helicarrier, he got onto his broom and sped towards the approximate location JARVIS had told him.
Just in time to see one of the engines explode.
I hope that was alright. Please let me know what you think!
cya soon Hopefully. Thanks agin. Storm.
