CHAPTER 2

ALFRED'S POV

" thanks for your comment which I really don't give a fuck about and if you have nothing more to say you might as well shut up "

I was surprised from what Arthur said to me, my eyes were wide and my mouth hung open not a single word came out. He stuffed his things to his bag an immediately left the class room while I was still dumb founded from what he said. I think he's mad at me or maybe I said something that offended him to be honest I was actually telling him a compliment but I think he took it as an insult. Having that thought I let out a big sigh followed by a smirk on my face. This will be interesting.

" I don't think that was a good way to start a conversation with him " a woman with brown hair and green eyes said to me

" yeah, your right I guess I offended him " I answered

" aren't you going to apologize? " she asked

" I'll apologize to him, if I see him later which I know I will "

" ok~ if you say so .. so I'm Elizabeth by the way "

" Alfred " I answered to her

" I know who you are, your big news to us right now "

" me? Why is that? "

" you're a human right? It's been a long time since a human enrolled here "

" ohh , well then I'm honored to be here " I answered her with a smile " by the way where can I find your leader? I know I'll get to see him later but I can't wait that long "

" oh, he's in his office that's the only place he stays If he doesn't have any classes "

" thanks " with that I gave her a wave and left the room. Being new to this place I still don't know where his office is so I asked for directions and finally after some twist and turns I landed in front of his office. I knocked at the door before opening I wouldn't want to add his anger towards me again however no one answered so I helped myself and entered the said room.

" uhm.. good morning? " I said peaking a head inside. There I saw book shelves and some mounted papers I doubt their school work if it were it wouldn't be that many I continued to examine the room when my eyes landed on a sofa at the side of the room and on top of it was a sleeping blond eyes covered with his hand. I fully entered the room and walked towards the sleeping vampire, I thought vampires doesn't need to sleep I guess people just made those up. I stood there staring down at him he must be really tired to not notice my presence in this room, maybe I should just come back when he wakes up. Having second thoughts on whether I should stay or not I didn't notice that I was now completely staring at this vampire before me. The sunlight shining on his pale skin is somehow captivating and his soft blond hair I can't seem to stop myself from touching him.

I knelt down and leaned in closer to him I want to feel his skin if they were cold like people used to say but unfortunately I was interrupted when the door behind me opened and two men entered the room one had a white hair and bloody red eyes while the other had a blond hair and blue eyes.

" who the hell are you? " one of them spoke

" what are you doing to Arthur? are you a ghoul? " the other asked

" oh .. I'm sorry I wasn't trying to do anything my name is Alfred Jones and no I'm not a ghoul " I answered them judging by their eyes I can assume that the white haired on is a vampire and the other is an elf.

" if you aren't doing anything then why are you here? " the man with white hair asked

I was about to answer them when I heard a moan from behind me. It was Arthur he woke up.

" what's happening? Why are you guys noisy? " he mumbled rubbing his eyes from being woken in his sleep.

" Arthur sorry to wake you, but do you know this man? We found him here inside your room " the blond asked

Arthur shifted his eyes from the two to me. It took him a moment to realize who I was and when he did he shouted at me.

" YOU! What the bloody hell do you think you're doing inside my office? "

" oh, you remembered me? That's nice " I replied to him as if I was teasing him

" you .. get out of my office "

" no,I came here to apologize about what happened earlier unfortunately you were sleeping when I came here "

" apologize? Arthur what is this human talking about? " the white haired vampire asked

" it's nothing big no need to get yourself involved in such things Gilbert " Arthur answered

" so, you forgive me? " I spoke getting Arthur's attention back

" No, and now if you don't have anything more to say get out " I frowned at his answer but later it was replaced by a smirk. " You really are one interesting vampire" I said to myself.

" I don't want to go out unless you forgive me " I replied back. His eyes narrowed at me as if he was trying to read my next move.

" listen, I don't have time to play with a human such as yourself I have far more things to attend to than sitting here and listening to your childish request "

" but it's not a request I'm asking an apology from you, isn't it only natural that you forgive me? "

Before Arthur could speak again a girl entered the room panting I guess she was running, I looked at her closer and realized it was the girl from earlier Elizabeth was it? I'm not really good in remembering names so I often forget them.

" Arthur, ghouls attacked the western border, what should we do? " she said in a slight panic

" what! Call the others we need to stop them! "

" right away " with that the girl left

" Francis, Gilbert inform the Council about this I'll be going ahead "

" what no Arthur it's too dangerous we'll go with you " the one called Gilbert protested

" No, I'll be fine I won't do anything reckless besides Elizabeth and the others will be right behind me, GO! " Arthur ordered with that the two left and so did Arthur heading to the opposite direction. " not going to do anything reckless was it? Storming in like that is already a suicide idiot … however that's what makes you so interesting Arthur Kirkland " I thought to myself.

Knowing that Arthur will be facing ghouls I decided to follow him with my Ducati 899 Panigale to try and catch up to Arthur I guess rumors were true vampires sure are fast one minute I was staring at him the next minute he disappeared from my sight. I tried to take a short cut to get to him faster only to be stopped by two ghouls standing in the middle of the highway.

" what do we have here? It's been a long time Alfred " the one with a blond hair and pinkish purple eyes spoke and next to him was a ghoul with brownish red hair and red eyes.

" oh~ well if it isn't Lutz and Kuro, I thought you guys are dead for good " I answered him

" I think it will take more if you want to kill us " the other shot back

" now, now, Lutz it's been years since I last saw you this isn't a good way to have a reunion right? "

" then " Kuro spoke and took a step forward " would you prefer if I kill you right now " with one quick move his blade pierced through my chest. Pulling it out he swung his blade to the side leaving blood marks on the ground.

" what a nice surprise attack Kuro, however you know too well you can't kill me " I said to them with a huge grin on my face.

" we won't know it till we try it aren't I right Demon King Alfred Jones? "
