I am so sorry for the late update my mind went totally blank on this story and when finally i had the idea we went on a vacation so i didn't have any time to update all my stories. Hope you forgive me :) so here's the new chapter for dusk. Enjoy

" demon king Alfred Jones "

A grimace was shown across my face of all the ghouls that I would face it had to be these two. How troublesome and a waste of my energy. However seeing these two in front of me means only one thing and that is trouble.

" now .. Now .. How about we avoid unnecessary fights and talk about this? "

It seems that the two ghouls in front on me did not believe a word that I said since a frown drew on their faces.

" talk? I thought demons didn't know how to " the one known as Kuro retorted

My grin grew even wider with every reply they gave. What a troublesome bunch in deed.

" if there's one thing that demons can't do that will be showing mercy to our prey " I hissed at him

" oh? we don't need your mercy " one of them answered " I can't believe that a demon such as yourself would be here disguising as a human are you here to feed on humans? Or are you here because of someone? "

I let out a laugh from what he said it had been so long that Iforgot that these ghouls in front of me are no ordinary ghouls.

" why don't you show your true colors " demon king " he added

I closed my eyes pinching the bridge of my nose " you two are really looking for trouble " I answered. The sunny sky was now starting to get dim as dark clouds start to cover the sun and the wind started to whirl around me as if a tornado was forming with me on the center and then with one flick of my finger everything stopped the leaves that danced with wind floated in mid air as if gravity had left them the clouds that completely covered the sun stopped in its place and the trees that were swaying stood still in their current position. Then with another flick black flames erupted through the ground surrounding the entire area, my once blond hair turned into pitch black with horns curling on each side of my head my tail started to sway behind along with my black bat wings curling at my back and fangs started to show themselves with my grinning face.

" now that I am awake what do you plan on doing? " I asked them opening my eyes showing them my shining blue set of orbs.

As I open my eyes Kuro disappeared before me." tch! " I flicked my tongue " how troublesome " I shifted my gaze from Lutz that was standing in front of me to my back where Kuro is planning to attack me using his katana he swung it with everything he got aiming to cut me in half, however a loud sound of clashing blades echoed in the air. The said ghoul stepped back surprised from what had just happened.

" what are you doing here? …. Mathew? " I asked eyeing the blond behind of me

Mathew is my brother although we share the same blood he's not as powerful as me, yes he is a demon and can kill ghouls as easily as me however there are things that only I can do and he can't just like flying my brother has no wings only a pair of horns and a tail it's really common among demons not possessing any wings what's un common is having one.

" I came here to get you back things aren't looking good back at Gehenna " my brother answered

" even so that doesn't give you the right to come here without my permission "

" I know that but there's something you need to know " he said to me with a stern look. Knowing my brother every time he gives me that look something always happens and believe me it's not that good.

" fine we'll discuss it later "

"of course brother, now what do you want me to do with these pests?" he answered eyeing the ghoul that attacked me earlier

" you don't have to worry about them they can't do anything to me now that I'm awake and besides if it ends quickly you'll take out all the fun " Ianswered with an even wider grin.

While we were talking the skies lit up with flashes of lightning it wasn't far from the place we were in fact to be more precise it was on the direction that we were heading.

" what was that? " Mathew asked

" that is the beginning of your downfall " kuro answered sheathing his katana

Did he just say our down fall? asking myself while eyeing the ghoul.

" i'd like to stay and chat with the two of you however it seems that our master had already gotten what he wanted "

Now this guy is talking in a puzzle. Master? what are they talking about? it's been a long time since their master died there's no way he could probably be alive after all the trouble of the former demon king had done in killing that hell of a ghoul.

" don't think I'll let you go that easily " Mat launched forward towards the ghoul unfortunately his attack was dodge by Kuro who went up to the trees to avoid the attack of my brother.

" don't be so rash we'll get to kill each other in the future " and with those words he vanished the same goes for Lutz.

" that was a troublesome bunch "

" do you want me to go after them? " he asked me drawing his sword

" no, that aside we need to know what they are planning and who is this so called master that they are referring to " if things go any further we might not be able to control what will happened in the future. I need to do something

" I see " he answered drawing his attention away from me

" what is it? " I asked giving him my usual curious look

" someone's coming I can feel them "

I diverted my gaze towards the direction that mu brother was facing and I saw five creatures moving towards our direction.

" you better get out if here they're coming " I said to him

" as you wish " with that he left

I gave a flick of my finger and everything went back to normal my bat wings were gone as well as my tail and my horns, the black flames that erupted on the ground were nothing but smoke and the skies start to lit up revealing the sun. Just as everything is staring to clear up five different voices started to come in range along with five shadows. The figures started to move their way into the mist that was created by my black smoke.

" here I can sense some ghoul coming from this area but their presence is getting weaker " one voice said

" ugh! we missed them "

"if we hurry we can catch up "

I waited to see who these people are behind the mist, now that I've hidden my powers I can't see clearly through this thick mist. I focused my gaze upon the five shadows when someone cast a spell and a bright light blinded me for a second.

Five individuals were staring at me when the light disappeared and some of them I recognized.

" Alfred? what are you doing here? "
