I know. I lied. It's been a week and I'm sorry. I'll try to update again in the next few days. I'd like to thank each and every single person for staying with me and not giving up on this story and my hopeless updating skills. I hope you enjoy this one. Not much happens but it's the beginning of something new I hope.

Enjoy :)

Chapter 15

Ginny Weasley could be patient when she wanted to. After all, she waited for her husband to find his feelings for her for almost six years. Granted, she had moved on for a little while, but deep down, she knew she was still waiting for the great Harry Potter to see her.

However, this was not one of those times where she chose to be patient. They had gone through one war many years ago, and here she was once again waiting to see if her husband was still alive.

So, that's how Harry found his wife the morning after the Battle. She was seated in one of the armchairs around the fire and simply staring into the flames.

Uh-oh. Not good. Ginny never just sat there. Unless she was mad.

Making his way warily towards her, Harry slowly bent over behind her and placed a light kiss on her cheeks. She didn't move. He made his way around the chair and knelt in front of the red-head.

"Ginny?" He asked quietly.

"Harry James Potter." Her voice was low. "You could have sent a Patronus! You could have used one of your brother's phones! You could have thought of anything else but nooo you just have to leave us waiting!" Ginny was mad but she was also worried. Many years ago she might not have reacted a violently. Many years ago she also didn't have three children to worry about.

"I know." Harry said quietly, putting his hands on her shoulders and pulling her close to him. "I'm sorry." He rested his chin on the top of her head and closed his eyes.

He was still trying to processes everything that has happened over the past few days. He almost lost his brother.

"Gin, wanna meet the Avengers?" He asked her suddenly, partly because he had promised to bring the family over and also because he needed to check that Tony was still alive. They had come too close to losing one another again.

The stars were shining. It was simply beautiful. No. They were harsher and brighter than the stars that you see through the hazy skyline.

A giant spaceship floated amongst the stars.

He stared. He felt his eyes slip closed. He falling.

Falling. Darkness. Falling. A desperate shout filled his mind. Then.

Nothing.

Tony gasped awake and clutched at his arc reactor. He glanced down and saw the familiar stable light of the reactor.

He climbed out of bed and made his way down to his lab and began tinkering with a new version of the suit. It had to be perfect.

"But Daddy! Why can't I come with you and Mummy? It's not my fault James and Al have school! Pleaaaase Dadddddy!" Lily was getting desperate. She really wanted to see her uncle and meet the rest of the team that her dad had been working with.

Harry looked away from his daughter and to his wife. If he kept on looking at Lily, he wouldn't be able to say no.

"Lily Luna Potter! That is enough. You'll meet everyone else with your brothers during the weekend." Thank god for Ginny.

"It'll just be a few days until you can meet them. And how about this? I'm sure everyone there has a sense of humour." Harry winked at his daughter and stood up from his kneeling position.

Just to see Ginny glaring at him with her hands of her hips looking like a mirror image of her mother.

"What!" Harry rose his hands defensively. "I'm sure Tony wouldn't mind."

Ginny simply shook her head. Ever since the war, everyone had seen a new side to Harry. He had calmed down and after the grieving and guilt, they saw the son of a Marauder who didn't mind helping Ron and George pull several pranks. That was after they got it through his head that not everything is his fault.

Hearing that statement, Lily grinned, kissed her parents and made her way to her bedroom to get ready to go to Luna's house.

Harry and Ginny locked up the house and waited for Ron and Hermione to come through the Floo so that they can leave together.

Just as the arrived, Lily raced down the stairs with her overnight bag and went to greet her aunt and uncle.

"Alright. Let's go."

Making sure that Lily had flooed over to Luna, the two couples made their way to the portkey that is used to go over to the Tower.

Harry gestured for his friends and wife to wait while he headed in to find the rest of the team. Just as he'd guessed, he found Tony tinkering in his lab on a new project.

"Hey," Harry said as he made his way over to his elder brother.

"Tony? Hello!" Harry waved his hand in front of Tony's face to gain his attention. Which it did.

"Oh... Hey lil bro!" Tony delivered his custom greeting but Harry saw the dark shadows under his brother's eyes and the slightly unfocused and glazed look he had.

"How long has it been since you've slept?"

Tony looked away and back to his tinkering, unwilling to answer.

"It has been approximately 32 hours and 47 minutes since Sir has last slept." The English voice of JARVIS spoke out over the speaker.

"Thanks J." Both Harry and Tony said at the same time. Harry thankful while Tony sarcastic. JARVIS usually seemed to prefer Harry's maturity but Tony will always be 'Sir' to JARVIS.

"Come on, time for bed."

Harry levitated Tony away from the desk as the elder brother grumbled about being handled but didn't complain outright. Harry was stubborn and cases where he wasn't getting enough sleep, he found there was no point in arguing with his younger brother.

As they made their way to Tony's bedroom, with Harry carrying most of bis brother's weight, Tony started struggling.

"No. No sleep. Please Har." Cue the puppy-dog eyes.

"You need the sleep Tony."

"I know. You have any of the dream stuff?" Harry knew what he was talking about and didn't like the idea that his brother was willingly asking for it. He never asked for it before. He liked to have full control of himself.

"I'll go see if Ginny or Hermione have any with them."

He tucked his brother in just as he does with his children and pulled the door closed behind him and started making his way back to the others.

"Harry?" Ginny stood up from where she had been sitting at the bar along with Hermione and Ron.

"I just got him into bed. Have you got anymore Dreamless Sleep?" They kept their voices low so as to not disturb the other occupants of the Tower even though they wouldn't have been able to hear them anyways, but it was a group of legendary figures. You never know.

They'd settled on the couches and spent the night talking, relaxing, cuddling and simply enjoying themselves. It was rare to have time to the four of them. There's usually other family, kids or pranks to deal with. So they took the night for themselves.

They'd been so lost in themselves that they hadn't noticed that residents of the now Avenge rs Tower had begun waking and one by one, filed into the room.

So, it was with a surprise that, as he usually likes to, Tony came into the room, knowing that he had a few visitors and let out a loud scream when he saw the Avengers simply staring at the four magic-users who still hadn't noticed their audience.

The introduction was met by yelp from Ron who collapsed onto the floor and took Hermione with him as she had been lying in his lap. Hermione let out a gasp which as followed by a "Ronald!" as she got tangled in Ron on the floor.

Harry and Ginny weren't that much better off. Harry had immediately drawn his wand and stood up facing the crowd while Ginny had jumped slightly from her spot with her hair flying.

That led to even more laughter from Tony which was met with laughter from the four. The Avengers simply stood there. Not knowing whether they should attack (but Harry was there!) or laugh (they had no idea who the other three were...)

Bruce was the first to let out the first chuckle. This prompted the rest of the team to laugh.

So much for using the kids to prank the new team. Harry and his friends were the ones who were 'pranked' and all the reactions were priceless

"J," Tony gasped, "please tell me you recorded that!" The words were broken as Tony struggled to breathe through his laughter.

"It has been Sir." Could a machine also sound as though it had been laughing?

"Guys," Harry started speaking, figuring this was as any time to start introductions. "This is my wife, Ginny and my best friends, Ron and Hermione." He gestured to each person as he introduced them.

They were just getting seated with some random chuckles when Ginny spoke, a mischievous sparkle in her eye.

"You have two days to prepare yourselves for battle." At the word, she immediately had every person's eyes fixed on her.

"Battle?" Steve asked, sounding weary. They just finished a battle.

"You're meeting the children, aren't you?"
