A Month Later

The five were sailing on a small ship, up the river. Elsa was moving the water with her powers, while Anna was curling the wood with her fire (when they lifted off the shores of the Glade, as they decided to call it, it had been just a really big raft that had the body of an extremely small prate ship), Kristoff was taking care of Sven, Olaf was relaxing against said reindeer, and Anil and Torunn were up top, keeping watch. All of their hair was getting longer, and it blew in the high winds, which Anil had conjured to move the boat.

They were headed towards Arendelle, to hopefully be safe for a little while and gain some rest and refuge. But they all knew it wouldn't last long. To them, however, Arendelle was their home, and always would be. The Scions had stayed who knows how long in the Glade, and Elsa had decided that they had to move on. So they did.

Elsa took out her hair and let it flow in the wind. It was getting longer, and her white hair was spiky at the ends, but soft. It was up to her mid back, between the ends of her wings.

"Elsa!" Torunn, or Tor as they decided to call her for short, looked down at the blond queen. Elsa looked up, her ice blue eyes focused on Tor's electric yellow ones. The Electricity Scion had her hair flowing free, as well.

"Yes?" Elsa shouted back up.

"Just how many months have we been gone? Two?"

"I think so," Kristoff said, making Anna look up.

"It had to be at least one," Anna agreed, "there's been too many sun and moon rotations to count!" The girl had her wings out and cooling from when they had gotten wet earlier. Her wings were like butterfly wings; they were mostly red, but the tips on both ends eventually started to turn orange, and then yellow.

"I agree with you, Tor," Anil said, looking down at Elsa. "Have you noticed it's much colder today then it was when were traveling?"

"No," Elsa admitted, "I didn't because my body's always naturally cold, except for that summer."

"Summer," Anna whispered, "that's when this all started. When my powers were awakened." She was now kneeling on her knees, her hands on her thighs.

Tor jumped down from her and Anil's post, landing next to the Fire Scion. Her boots went tap against the wooden floor and she tucked her batish wings in slightly. She offered a hand to Anna and pulled her up. "What'd you say?"

"I said summer. That's when this all started, if we really think about it," Anna repeated.

"That makes sense," Elsa replied. Anil came down as well, now, next to Elsa, and Tor and Anna walked over to where the others were, sitting down.

"Hey! I just thought of something!" Olaf chirped. The others looked over at him, question marks in their eyes.

"…shoot," Kristoff said, saying the word after a 3 minute silence. His wings were out as well, and his were 20 feet long, 4 feet up to down. His feathers were a tawny brown, just like his hair.

"How about we dock at a town or a village along the way, and relax a little bit, and get our bearings?" Olaf suggested in his usual chipper tone. Sven snorted.

"But Olaf, we're gonna do that in Arendelle," Anil pointed out. Sven nodded.

"Yes we are, but, we could prepare if we dock and experience it earlier," Anna said, prompting the others to look at the doe eyed girl. "Think about it, my fellow scions: we could learn from experience instead of going on a whim! And, it might help us become better explorers!" Sven tilted his head in thought.

"That's a good idea. It could help, plus we could pick up some supplies we might need and rest up a bit," Kristoff said, pulling Anna to him and kissing her. Sven closed his eyes and made a fake gagging sound. "So, Elsa, what do you think?" he asked, and all scions looked at the Ice Scion.

Elsa sighed. "Fine." Sven wore a joyful expression on his face.

The others looked at him questionably. "Is it something I said?" Olaf asked innocently, making them look at him.

When they were a good two miles away, Elsa had Anil fly ahead, and stopped the boat so that they could get their bearings. The four elementals looked at each other warily, and Tor could sense the doubt and the fear, but man, was the courage overwhelming.

"Are you ready for this?" Elsa asked. They looked up and nodded. Anil flew back and landed, flying straight down on the ship's floor. "Ok, I've got news," he said.

"Spill," Tor demanded.

"Good news is, it is indeed a village. Bad news, it's filled with Vikings. Who have a grudge for people with magic powers."

This spurred forth a collective groan from them, and even Sven snorted. Elsa ran through her mind what she knew about Vikings, and that's when she realized.

"Tor!" she said, "You're our saving grace!"

Tor looked starled. "What are you- oh," she said, reading Elsa's mind.

Elsa grinned. "We won't need to disguise ourselves after all. I've got a plan."

Torunn walked into the Viking village, supposedly completely unarmed. In reality she had a lethal hammer (said hammer was Kristoff's and had been borrowed from him) that could do damage. Her magic weapon, tucked in her boot, was a long, slightly curved dagger. The Vikings watched from the time the boat sailed up, and were hidden. Then when she marched into the square and looked around, they jumped out at her.

The plan had been this: Vikings hero-worshiped Thor, the god of thunder. Since Tor had electric powers, she had been the sole candidate for this act. She would carry "her" hammer (or in this case, Kristoff's hammer) and channel her powers through that in a display. Anil would be up above, making a cloud circle. She'd release her powers when the Vikings called ou-

"Who are you supposed to be, stranger?" the chief demanded. Tor smirked and removed her hood, revealing her long, tangled curtain of raven black hair. She raised the hammer.

"It is I, Thor, the goddess of Thunder and Lightning!" she bellowed. She felt the familiar crackle that surged whenever she used her magic, and welcomed it, channeling it through the hammer and shooting a lightning bolt towards the sky.

Anil saw the lightning bolt coming and zipped a circular pattern in the sky, making his golden cloak spin. The lightning was directed into the cloud circle, and fizzled into nothingness. Anil's curls stood on end; his hair was getting longer, and it now reached his shoulders.

The Vikings dropped their weapons, and bowed down to her. "I would like all of you to do a favor for me," Tor said. The rest of her friends came from their various places and surrounded her.

"We are going to borrow any and all items we wish without your complaining," Tor told them, "and once that's done you will help us with our ship and forget this ever happened."

"Yes, we shall do that," the lead Viking said. All of them smiled.

"…and forget you've ever seen us," Tor added, as they stepped onto the boat. The Viking gently grabbed her hand.

"My lady… will you ever come to our humble village again?" he asked.

"Yes, but I'm not sure when," she replied. They had tricked the Vikings into thinking they were gods. But they were well on their way to being gods, so it wasn't a complete lie.

They had found out in this place that a little over two months had passed since they had first set off on their journey. It was late fall/early winter. They had gotten food, water, care, and actually got the Vikings to make their ship better then it had been before. They had also gotten new clothes.

Elsa stepped up to the head of the ship, which was like the plank. "Anil!" she yelled, "we go north. Set sail for Arendelle!"

"Aye-aye, captain!" Anil mocked, grinning as he made the ships go north.

"Really?" Elsa questioned as she looked over at her sister. Anna pulled up the hood of her dark red cloak, and fur tickled her red eyes as she looked at her sister.

Anil grinned even wider. "Yes."

It was sure to be a good journey.
