Kristoff had been going for what felt like hours and most likely was. He had thought that this village would have been closer to their previous location. When they finally stopped in front of one of the inns there, Hans was the first to get off of the sled. He was sick of freezing underneath a blanket and having to stay close to the harvester to make sure that he didn't get too cold. It was time that he purchase some clothes that were actually appropriate for the temperature. These boots did not hold up well with all of the snow. Kristoff began to wander around the village, conversing with a young baker who he had delivered ice to before.

Hans raised a auburn colored brow when he glanced over and saw said baker flirting with the ice harvester. He seemed quite uncomfortable as she attempted to grab his hand. When she told him that she could tell him where the queen went if he did a favor for her, the prince had to draw the line. He moved over to Kristoff's side and grabbed one of his rough, calloused hands, fingers intertwining with his for the moment.

"Hey, lady, that's my fiance that you're hitting on there and I am prince Hans of the Southern Isles… You better watch how you talk to him. Where is the queen of Arandelle?" Hans asked, glaring at the woman in front of him. Kristoff was surprised to see Hans so irritated with the baker. He was absolutely fuming at that point. He had no idea how to react to any of this really. The baker gave Hans a funny look before telling the older man that Elsa had gone through the town and towards the largest mountain that stood in this range. The harvester gave a bit of a groan. It would be hell trying to get there and he knew it. There would be a lot of traveling in cold weather in front of them. In a perfect world they would be able to spend the rest of the day and night in that town, but they were kind of on a schedule. They could not dilly dally like that when the kingdom of Arandelle was at risk. Kristoff lead Hans back over to the sled that they had brought with them on their journey and greeted Sven who had been waiting there for them. The rest of the day was filled with an awkward feeling and a good amount of riding forward. Many hours passed before the two found themselves in front of the mountain that the new queen had apparently gone to. Hans got out of the sled and fussed about his legs hurting him from keeping them still for so long.

"That won't last long. We've got quite a bit of hiking to do." Kristoff informs him with a light chuckle. He leaves Sven at the base of the mountain, figuring it would be difficult to take a reindeer all the way up. Both men began to journey up the snow covered mountain. There were many times where Hans would slip a little and need to grab onto Kristoff's hand. The minute he would do this however, he would quickly pull away from the harvester and start pouting those plump lips of his. The mountain man almost found this reaction funny and had to stop himself from laughing too much. When a little chuckle escaped his lips, the prince reached over and whacked his arm before bringing his hand back so he could cross his arms over his chest. This was so awkward for the both of them. Each felt something for one another that they weren't sure was felt by the other. It was truly terrible.

When the harvester and the very exhausted prince made it to the top of the mountain they saw the most beautiful castle made of ice and snow. How glorious!

"Here I come." Grumbled the ginger. He was upset about having to travel through this dangerous land of cold to go find the queen of some stupid nation he wanted to take over. He began to stomp up the ice steps before managing to trip. The moment he lost his footing seemed to occur in slow-motion for the both of them. Hans managed to land on his ankle in just the correct way that he sprung it. How flipping wonderful. Kristoff rushed over to him.

"Riding boots aren't the best for ice.." He added as he picked up the younger.

"Are you alright?" He asked him as he tried to sit down the petite prince.

"No, you jerk! I'm not alright, I hurt my friggin ankle!" He yelled, smacking the harvester hard on the face. The harvester gave a little sigh before laying a kiss on his forehead.

"Shut your mouth, why don't you?" It was then that Hans turned awful red and shut up.

They continued to wander up the stairs until they reached the door, Kristoff still carrying the prince since he could no longer walk. As it turned out, the ice queen was actually quite upset. She through many ice daggers at them, but once Hans communicated to Elsa that her younger sister was very ill, she decided that she had to go and try to save her. The new queen ran past them and began to head towards home.

"My parents wanted me to marry the damn princess and here I am, saving her crazy sister from destroying the town. I don't think I can do this, but there is no way my brothers will allow me to get over this." Hans says sadly with a soft sigh. Kristoff squeezed him in a hug and smiled.

"Hey... You could always continue traveling with me. Help me out with ice delivery and what not...I mean...if you don't think I'm too poor for you to hang out with." The Harvester suggested shyly as his face reddened a little bit. Hans then did something that caught Kristoff by surprise. He looped his arms around his neck and kissed him hard.

"Of course I'll stay with you, my big bear! I have loved you ever since we were little." The prince says after finally coming away from that big wet kiss they shared.

Fin.
