"Okay, no problem. Let's go now!" Jellal smiled again and turned to the road. "Meteor," was the thing he muttered under his breath before storming off on his bike, extremely super fast and a golden light coming from Jellal and the bike, Lucy scared to death and holding onto dear life.

On Jellal's extremely, damn awesome, brilliant and heavenly bike
Time Check: er…it would be better if you not know.
Lucy had her eyes closed and her hands clutching Jellal's shoulders in a deathly grip because obviously she was scared to death. I mean, who wouldn't be if they travelled 100kms per hour? (according to Lucy Heartfilia, that is.)
And while Lucy had her eyes closed, Jellal concentrated on the road… I mean, concentrated on the 'way' he was driving his bike on. Ok, we need an explanation for that. You know how there's so much traffic on roads these days? Well… that is kinda the reason Jellal had to take 'drastic measures' and he was currently flying (with meteor, of course) in the sky, making sure to be fast enough to not be seen. Lucy had her eyes closed, so she didn't see which helped Jellal even more, not making him use another 'spell' to close her eyes.
Confused? No worries, this chapter is all about secrets of magic. Huh? Oh yes, that DOES mean that the main storyline will now only continue further in the next chapter, for this one, imagine Jellal and Lucy flying throughout, ok? I mean, I'm damn sure you'll finish this in at least 10 minutes, right?
WELCOME TO THE WORLD OF MAGIC
We welcome you to the world of magic. As you might've figured, magic in this world is NOT a part of people's daily lives as you just saw them 'hiding' it from other people, even their close friends.
In this world, magic is only found in a single part of the world, which is a few states of Japan. For example, Magnolia, Crocus, Lamia, and Pegasus are few places which contain magic. Oh, and not everyone know of this, please note. Only people who HAVE magic know that magic exists and only extremely high rank mages know where.
Origin of magic and its importance
No one actually knows from where magic originated, since they say its impossible to get close to the origin of magic, and not even extremely high rank mages have been able to do it. But only kids with single or both parents as magic users can only get magic. No one else.
How do people know there are more people like them with magic? Well, when a child is born, the council of the magic world sends a spy, and he/she use a spell to see if the child is a magic user or not. It is not much of a problem since there are many people who are spies and check on each child.
When people discovered that they can use magic, they were afraid that it would not be excepted in the society and they would referred to as witches, and social outcasts. So as to prevent that, in the magic world it is a rule for the prohibition of telling this secret to any others, not even family.
The importance. Well, after people discovered this, they decided to use this 'curse' as a 'blessing' of the god and used it to help people. They formed a council, and a society called 'Fiore' for the people with magic. They have underground bases, where they can meet. They also formed guilds to keep people intact. They have actually formed like an 'underground world' under Japan which has the bureau of magic department (BMD, or simply council) and guilds.
People (who are mages as well) who need any kind of help give guilds quests, and the mages from the guild complete it for them. As to why mages request for other mages, because they may need a certain type of magic for a certain job.
Another thing which exists in the underground world, is the dark society. The dark society are evil mages which are not legal and do not follow the rules of the council. They work on their own wish, and they have a society of their own called the 'Balam Alliance'. (I'm not gonna explain this, you know it. And explaining all that above was enough anyways.)
The legal mages also mostly discuss about the dark mages or the dark guilds, and protect the normal people from the dark mages.

Every person who has magic is known as a 'mage' or 'wizard'. To become a legal and known mage, each mage is required to have a rank, or class. Each mage is given a rank or class from low to high based on their power/strength, intelligence, power to strategize and speed. The ranks are as follows in ascending order.
B Rank
B rank mages are beginners, which enhance their abilities more and more by giving tests of strength and qualify to the next class soon. They can take up quests by other people, but only B class. They work individually. Their magic power is below 2000mp.
A Rank
A rank mages are qualified mages and very strong, since the process to become A class after B class is a really hard one. A rank mages can take up all quests from B class to A class. A rank mages can either work individually or in teams, depending on what they feel comfortable with. They can enter guilds, and usually know who is their guild mate. They are not allowed to tell anyone else who they are, just their nickname is used. Only A rank mages' guild mates can know the identity of the mages and no one else. Their magic power is below 5000mp and above 2000mp. They know their own Master.
S Rank
S rank mages are highly qualified mages and amazingly strong. They can take up quests from A class to S class. S rank mages are required to work individually and only pair up when a quest requires them to. They can group up with A rank mages if they want, with the permission of their Master. Only their group knows who they are, and other S class mages know them. That's it. Their magic power is above 5000mp and below 20,000mp. They know their own Master.
SS Rank
SS rank mages are GREAT. Double of what you would call an S class mage. They can take up quests from A class to SS class. They work only individually and only other SS class mages know their identity. And if they are in a guild, their Master. They usually do quests, which require years or months to do so. But if they are in a guild, they prefer to take only 6 months quests. Their magic power is above 30,000mp. They can also apply to join the council if they want. They know their own Master.
Masters
Masters are…well, masters. Double or even Triple of an SS class mage. They are usually old hags which form guilds. Only masters are allowed to form guilds. They recruit great mages for their guild and train them. They accept quests from the people and put on the request board for their mages to take on. They have awesome magic, usually ancient, and they are damn strong monsters. They know other masters' identity and their own guild members' identity. They can apply for council or ten wizard saints of council. Their magic power is above 50,000mp. They know their own Master.
Kings
The last rank anyone has ever got. There are only 2 kings who ever qualified. They are even commonly known as 'The two gods of war' by some people. They are truly dangerous people and possess more than 5 types of magic. The two people are both young and not old, which is damn surprising. Their identity is restricted by the magic council to only those two and the council head. NO ONE ELSE must know their identity, or they will be disqualified to become Masters. If they are in guild, not even their Master can know their identities. Their power is immense and their power is IMMEASURABLE. Obviously can become councilors (but still with hidden identities) and one of 10 great wizard saints. It isn't proved which one of the two is stronger. And lastly, since they are so great, and have great intellect, plus they are wizard saints, they know identities of many mages. :D
Magic
There are various types of magic around Fiore. There are mainly 5 types.
1. Caster Magic: is Magic that is expelled from the body as opposed to Magic done through the use of a weapon or outside source. Ex. Maker magic, Transformation, Elemental (Fire, Water, Earth, Wind) Magic, Telekinesis, etc.
2. Holder Magic: is Magic that requires a Mage to use an external source to use the magic in their body or to produce Magic in some cases. It usually requires the use of Magic Power, though there are some exceptions such as Lacrima powered stuff. Ex. Celestial Spirit Magic, Requip Magic, etc.
3. Ancient Spell/Magic: as its name implies, is Magic from ancient times. It includes all forms of Lost Magic, Nirvana, Memory-Make as well as all of the Black Arts.
4. Lost Magic: is a type of Magic that has been obliterated from the history of the world due to their immense power and the sheer gravity of their side effects on the users. However, users of such Magic still exist, though itself is believed to be extremely rare. Ex. Dragon Slayer Magic, Time Ark, Maguilty Sense, Great Tree Ark, etc.
5. Living Magic: which gives life and form to any form of non-life. Only one king has it and he doesn't use it because it is TOO destructive and illegal too.

Meetings
If there is any major problem, and all the wizards are required to assemble and discuss the matter, they are required to send their 'arc balls'. These are balls provided to all mages. Each and every mage has an arc ball of their own, with a little accessory on top to identify their rank, and if they have a guild, another accessory which is the sign of their guild.
B Rank mages have a 'B' letter in blue fixed in a hole at the top of their arc balls. (Guild sign, if in a guild, too)
A Rank mages have an 'A' letter in purple fixed in a hole at the top of their arc balls. If they are too known and one of the top of their rank, there is also a very little star on top of the 'A'. (Guild sign, if in a guild, too)
S Rank mages have a single star fixed in a hole at the top of their arc balls. The star is beautiful, and filled with the color which the mages chose. (Guild sign, if in a guild, too)
SS Rank mages have two stars fixed in a hole at the top of their arc balls. The stars are beautiful and filled with the colors the mages chose. (Guild sign, if in a guild, too)
Masters have a single, totally beautiful diamond fixed in a hole at the top of their arc balls. They even have to put another jewel with it, like ruby, sapphire, etc whichever they like, for the uniqueness of all. (Guild sign, if master of/in guild, too)
Kings have a small crown and a scarf around the crown fixed in a hole at the top of their arc balls. The small crowns are beautiful and red in color. (Guild sign, if in guild, too)
These arc balls are at first transparent in color, later the mage can fill in any color, picture, something which shows their magic, or whatever they like. For example, A Rank mage Natsu Dragneel has fire in his arc ball, while A rank mage Gray Fullbuster has Ice.
And lastly, meetings are only between Masters to B Class mages, they mostly don't disturb the Kings until its totally necessary.
(OH ONE MORE THING THOUGH. Gray and Natsu know each other, they are team mates. But were pretending because before Erza told them telepathically that Jellal and Jelarl are not mages, and people around the plane knew that TBP and TRD really don't know each other so to act like they just met. Well, all they did till now was acting and you guys had no idea what was going on telepathically or through their arc balls in their guild halls . Oh, and you know Jellal's identity is restricted and Jelarl is too small. ;) So, Erza was wrong.)
~BONUS~
Okay, so since you all are my lovely readers and I didn't update for many light years, here's a short chappie for you~
After 10 very long minutes in the air, Lucy finally took a sigh of relief as having being told by Jellal to open her eyes and stand up because they had reached. She was totally worn out after that ride, and cursed Natsu for not going himself instead of her. She then finally left poor Jellal's paining shoulders and got off the bike.
"Oh My God… you, you are totally superb! I felt like we were in the air," Lucy exclaimed, while Jellal's eyes widened, "oh god… how do you even drive so fast without bumping into someone or something!"
"Ahahaha, well that's skill, I suppose… I'm really fond of biking, so I learned a lot of this before…" Oh, the white lies of dear Jelly. Poor him for having to do this, he hated lying but that was something he had to do for the sake of the rule, and peace of the world.
"Phew… this was awesome, really." Lucy complimented.
"Thanks a lot, but its nothing really..." Jellal rubbed the back of his head, a little shy, "uh, I think we should go in and explain the situation to your Manager now, we don't want The Red Dragons losing this trip, right?" Jellal was standing and his bike had already disappeared by then.
"OH, yes you're right! Let's rush!" And that's when Lucy took Jellal by his arm and ran like hell inside the studio, to the meeting room. Now it was Jellal's turn to be in a haze.
After 30 seconds, Lucy and Jellal finally reached the meeting room and Lucy threw the door open, rushing in the room but coming to halt as soon as she entered, dragging Jellal like a rag doll after her.
"Er, um, hello Manager… so sorry we're so late….uh…" Lucy, who'd already left Jellal's poor arm ages ago, said embarrassed a bit since she just entered so abruptly in a meeting room where lots of travel agency people, some other officials and her manager were sitting and discussing. As for Jellal, he was just outside the room, sitting with his back to the wall, holding his own right foot, since while coming up the stairs, he thinks he sprained his leg.
Rufus Lore and the other people looked at them bewildered. And that was when suddenly Rufus's face started turning into one of anger…and that's it. His face turned a tomato red.
"Grr, LUCY HEARTFILIA, THE TRIP IS CANCELED FOR YOU AND YOUR TEAM AND WE ARE GIVING IT TO THE TIGER TRIO, YOU USELESS DRAGONS!"

DAMN, I FINALLY FINISHED THIS! I'm so glad~ Oh god, really! Then people, I'm really sorry again for not updating for so long, AGAIN, so yeah… (I know I just always say sorry and get away with it but…well, sorry. *bows*)
Then, this is September, which means EXAMS. I'll MAYBE update in October, maybe, most probably, but I won't promise anything. I'll try to survive my exams, sure.
