Umm Inquisition has absorbed my life but I have to share with THREE other people so I shall write you my promised words.
And I've been looking back and my time lineis a wee bit super confusing. Alistair as of now is twenty-two years old and Sierra is eighteen. So belay what I said hesitantly last chapter, it's only been four years since she was released.
And so read onward!

Sierra looked at where Alistair had been sitting and walked by her and then looked at Irving. He sighed. "Well, go on run after him."
She didn't even process a thank you and she ran out into the hall. She looked down and saw Alistair rounding a corner and ran after him. She quickly caught up and it seemed as though he hadn't noticed her. She ran right in front of him and placed her hands on her hips and pouted angrily. "Oi, I'm not done talking to you. You can't just run away from me. Not again."
He seemed to think for a moment slightly surprised, then scowled. "Watch. Me." He quickly moved her to the side and continued.
She growled in frustration. She knew that there was an empty room up ahead for she had used it for… reasons before. She followed behind him and then grabbed him and shoved him into the room and quickly shut the door when she got in and froze the lock shut. She turned to him and crossed her arms. "Now you can't run away from me." She didn't know where this flighty behaviour came from. The last time she met him he didn't seem the sort. But she did only know him for a night so that may not have been a safe assumption. Probably everything she knew about him was not a safe assumption. She heard a tired sigh escape from the man's lips. "What?" She growled out. She was being rough with him on purpose because well, it seems being soft would get her nowhere.
He rolled his eyes. "There is no need to be so moody." He paused after the look she gave him. "Alright I deserved that look."
She waited for him to continue but she was sorely lacking the results she was waiting for. She stuck out a hip and tapped her foot. "Shall I go first? Or do you want to actually talk to me?" From the silence that she got from the Templar she knew the answer. "Alright," She breathed out. She moved and leaned against the door. "So I just want to let you know right off the bat, I'm not mad at you. Well for leaving, and not saying goodbye. I am mad at you for being a child right now." She looked down at the embroidery of her robes. She shouldn't insult him she doesn't want things to be bad for them at the very start of their relationship. "I- I'm sorry that was childish of myself. Okay listen. What I wanted to saaaay was that I never stopped thinking about you." She blushed to herself not looking at Alistair for any reaction.
"It's just that well, you made such a huge impact on me. You showed me that not all Templars are raging douchebags and it seems that while in my solitary confinement that my thoughts kept on wandering to…you. It's just that, well I was young and you seemed to be my knight in shining armour. You made a big impression on me and it seems that whenever I feel lonely like I'm the only one that thinks the way I do I just always remembered you and how you saved me in more ways than one that night. So I wanted to thank you as well for being so great. And um, what I said earlier is true. I do find you extremely attractive, I mean have you looked at yourself in the mirror lately cause you're even more attractive than I remembered and that's really something because I had fantasy vision on." She laughed awkwardly to herself and froze when she saw his feet close, almost touching her own.
It seemed as if she were being led by some unknown force as Alistair put his hand on her chin and lifted her face to look at his own. She looked into his eyes and it seemed as though he were searching for something. "You," He started. "You have become an incredibly beautiful woman, Sierra." His voice sent shivers down her spine being low and barely above a whisper.
She felt her voice crack as she spoke. "Well thank you, I urged my genetics to go for incredibly beautiful so, I guess, that…worked out." She slowed her witty banter realizing that they certainly were close enough to kiss. She was just frozen like a ram in fear to do anything about it. She had dreamed for this moment for literally years and yet; here she was. Unable to do a damn thing because she was completely and utterly captivated by him.
Then it happened; he brought his lips to hers. The kiss was light and gentle, not something she was very familiar with. However it was everything that she hoped for. It sent shivers down her spine and made her knees extremely weak. He pulled away, and she expected herself to be fine but actually started to slip. He immediately caught and pinned her to the door. Her chest heaved at the swift action. She looked at him and spoke. "Ah fuck it."
She grabbed the back of his head and pulled it towards her own. This kiss was what she was familiar with. It help more passion and was more frantic. Alistair, surprised and yet not. Alistair's lips were soft and plump and his hair was soft and thick. She was surprised as he grabbed her hair and pulled back her head as to deepen the kiss. She felt his tongue swipe quickly across her lip and she opened her mouth to let him explore. He wrapped his arm around her waist, his hand sliding down to her butt and brought them close together. She moaned into his mouth which earned a low growl from him. He tipped her head all the way back exposing her neck to him. He kissed her jawline and then made his way down her exposed neck. He softly bit her chest and she gasped at the surprised action.
Just as she was about to suggest that they get the armour off of him there was a loud knock on the door which made the two of them jump. "Who's in there?"
It was a gruff voice, but gruff from age. She was certain that it was a templar. "Umm, Sierra. Irving asked me to get some extra stuff from this room."
There was a pause before the voice spoke again. "Why won't the door open?"
Sierra raised her eyebrows and the two looked at the ice that froze the lock shut. "Ah you know, I believe some of the doors in the tower, because of age and all, they start to ware out and jam shut. It happens to me all the time really."
There was another silence. She could see the dubious look on his face as she spurt out lie after lie. She heard a snort. "Sounds like you were talking to someone."
A question yet not. "Ah yes, I am currently with the newest Templar Alistair. I don't know if you've met yet. But I was showing him around and then we got jammed in."
No silence this time. "Thought you said you were doing an errand for Irving for some stuff?"
However she didn't let there be a suspicious silence happen on their end either. "Well of course I am but I ran into Alistair on my way and see we're old friends and so he needed a refresher on the layout of the place but I wanted to get this done first and so we came here and got jammed in." She had to say that she didn't usually have to lie this much. Most templars didn't give a shit with who was fucking whom but not this guy of course.
There was a pause from the man before he continued. "Well Alistair, I would watch yourself with this one. She doesn't have the most sterling reputation in the place."
She immediately retorted in hopes of distracting them both from his comment. "And yes well you have none because who are you? No one cares. Now run along we have no need of your help." She heard a grumble as the man walked away. He was just doing his job but Alistair didn't need to know about her reputation just yet.
While the whole thing had been happening Alistair had a hold of her hips and had his forehead pressed against hers. He knew what he had done was… sudden and kind of amazing. He had been waiting years to have a kiss with her like that but had always felt incredibly creepy because all he could imagine was an extremely mature thirteen year old. When he saw her however, he couldn't believe his eyes. And he really couldn't believe it when it turns out she was as crazy about him as he was about her. He smiled looking into her face and in turn she blushed.
"What?" She asked and moved her head away.
He laughed and removed one of his hands to make her face turn back to his. He gave her a light kiss and pulled away smiling. "I'm just really amazed is all. I never thought that I would be here doing this with you of all people. And I'm really happy about it." He looked into her bright green eyes and sighed contently. "Your eyes are as striking as I remember them. Although, they are not as filled with innocence as I recall…"
She laughed as he narrowed his eyes at her. "Well, there are things that have changed for sure. Like I'm no longer a vulnerable thirteen year old." She sighed and wrapped her hands around his shoulder. "I-." She stopped and shook her head.
He cocked his head in confusion. "What? Is something wrong?"
She shook her head and smiled. "No, everything is perfect."
The two stood in silence for a long while before Alistair spoke. "I was supposed to go see Greagoir, who knows how long ago." He had actually disobeyed the first order he had received as a templar. Already he had started down the wrong foot.
She hummed softly to herself. "And my lesson I guess is canceled. I s'pose I should release us. I'm sure someone is looking for me." She looked at him from the corner of her eye. "I'm also sure that there are some people dying to get a good look and or talk to you." She winked and melted the ice off of the door lock. She turned back to him and kissed him once more. "Alright so I'm going to leave in a couple minutes so you leave now. Just be confident and don't look like you've done something wrong."
He smiled and kissed her once more. "Well I haven't done a thing so that should be pretty easy to do."
She blushed and mumbled to herself and looked through the key hole. "Alright, it's empty, now would be the time for you to go."
He nodded and opened the door and shut it behind him and walked down the hall towards the stair where Greagoir's office was located.
When he got to it he knocked quietly and heard an answer from within. He opened the door to find several templars already in his office. Greagoir looked up and brightened the look on his face as he saw Alistair stand in the doorway. "Ah excellent now we can start the meeting." He stood and walked up to Alistair and ushered him into the room as he shut the door. "Everyone, this is the newest Templar in the Order for us Alistair." He timidly waved and walked over to a blond man that looked to be around his age. "Now that you're all here we have matters to discuss."
"Any reports on any mages?"
One man stepped forward. "Ser, Amell has once again started a ruckus with the mages. We, me and Ferren, saw three approach her and Jowan and it seemed to be a pretty heated argument."
"So she didn't actually start anything, it was the three that walked up to her?" Alistair squinted to himself. Had he said that? That was not good.
It looked as if he were about to be verbally attacked by the other Templars when the blond guy next to him became his saving grace. "Actually I would have to agree with Alistair. I overheard the conversation and it seems that the mages were looking to fight but then the usual people that hand around with her showed up and they dispersed."
Greagoir nodded his head. "Alright I'll track them down. Any other problems?"
A man stepped forward. He was older and as soon as he spoke Alistair dreaded life itself. "Yes earlier today I was walking down the hall and it seems that Amell had herself and another person jammed in the room. I'm sure it's not a wild guess as to whatwas happening in their but it turns out that doors need fine tuning. She said that sometimes they jam shut and I checked others thinking that it was a load of shit it turns out she wasn't kidding. Some doors get so jammed that they still are not open."
Greagoir put a hand to his chin. "Any idea as to who the gentlemen with Amell was?"
The man shook his head. "Not a clue. She never let him speak."
Greagoir sighed. "The day when I finally catch her having sex with someone will be the day when Irving admits that he is wrong. Anyway, thank you for bringing that to my attention we'll have someone look into it." He looked around the room. "Alright second order of business; I would like to try a system of you all being paired up with another Templar. It would be safer for you all just in case something happens." Greagoir proceeded to call out the names of who was paired with whom. "Now Alistair since you are new and one of the youngest I would like to either pair you up with someone older than you or someone that is near the same age."
Alistair scrunched his eyebrows down in confusion. Why was he getting the choice of picking someone? What made him…so…special? He inwardly groaned. Greagoir must have gotten a warning from the Mother, of course Irving knew. He sighed. "I guess someone close to my own age would be nice."
Greagoir clasped his hands together. "Excellent. Alright so you and Cullen will be in charge of relations with the mages since it seems that they are particularly fond of you. If anyone has any problems, then other Templars will direct them to you two. You will both still do patrols but when you are needed you will address their problems, clear?"
The two nodded their heads and the meeting went on. After the meeting was done Alistair was on his way from the room when Greagoir called him. "Alistair, a moment?"
He nodded and walked back to him. "Ser do you need something?"
Greagoir nodded. "Yes, tomorrow night we are having a Harrowing for the Amell woman. She is young but if Irving believes that she can handle it then so do, however, as you know there is always someone that must take action in taking the killing blow if she is coerced by the demon. Since you are newest and have the least amount of reason to take or not take action against her, I am asking that you do it."
Alistair's head was blank. Him? Take the killing blow? "Uh, thank you ser. Of course." He would never want to take it but he knew that it would seem suspicious if he were to decline the 'offer'.
Greagoir bowed his head. "I thank you. It is never an easy task and I know that asking you to kill someone is not a light request. You may leave."
Alistair left the room with a sigh. Outside was his new partner. "Cullen correct?"
Cullen left his place from leaning to clasping Alistair's hand. "Yes that is correct. It is good to meet you Alistair I have heard quite a bit of you." Alistair cocked his head to the side in confusion which prompted Cullen to laugh. "I'm joking that would be weird. I'm going to enjoy working with you. It'll… be a nice change from the stodgy old men that I take watch with. Come," He beckoned. "I have many people to introduce to you."
Sierra sighed loudly as she looked at her book. It had been the seventh time since she had entered the groups study session. She heard a growl from her left. "By the Maker Sierra shut. Up." Ellie hissed. "You've sighed deeply in malcontent eight times since you've entered the library."
"I'm bored." She whined. What she wanted to say was that I already miss Alistair and I want to make out with him again, over and over but she didn't think that was hardly appropriate for their surroundings.
Jowan smacked his hand to his face. "Listen studying isn't supposed to be fun but we have to do it anyway."
Sierra threw her book down on the table. "We don't even get tested on any of this! Do you know how boring this makes us look? We are using our free time to study."
"Well that is reflected upon you quite nicely." Sierra jumped when she heard Cullen speak.
She laughed. "Well I guess if it shines a good light on me in your eyes Cullen that nothing is wrong with studying. Darcy? What is wrong with you?" She hadn't turned around to speak to Cullen but had been enthralled with the look on Darcy's face.
Darcy immediately stood and reached out her hand. "Hello new Templar ser. My name is Darcy and it is truly a pleasure to meet you."
Alistair laughed, Maker his laugh was beautiful. "A pleasure miss Darcy. I am Alistair." He took his hand in his own shook it lightly and kissed the back of her hand.
Darcy gasped and giggled and pulled her hand away when it was released. Sierra was overwhelmed with a feeling of disdain for the girl and she knew that she was just being jealous. And her jealousy always became petty quite quickly. Addison nodded her head to him. "I am Addison, nice to meet you Alistair."
Alistair was about to speak but Ellie cut him off. "Wow the Maker sure blessed your face." She grinned and stuck out her hand. "I'm Ellie and I am very pleased to meet you." Alistair chuckled and repeated the process of a hand shake and a kiss on the hand. Ellie pulled her hand away with a very pleased look on her face.
Jowan coughed into his hand. "Yes well I am Jowan, a pleasure." He stuck out his hand and was greeted with a strong grip.
"Likewise." Alistair released his hand and Jowan shook it a little.
Sierra was inspecting her nails when eyes turned toward her. "I have to go." She stood and started to make her way out when her arm was grabbed. She turned to look at Cullen. "Cullen, do you mind?"
Cullen turned his head sideways in confusion. "You do not want to meet my new partner?"
She cocked an eyebrow up and shook her head. "I did, his name is Alistair very nice. A pleasure." She looked at Alistair who was looking at her with hard eyes. "I'm Sierra and I must be off so," She pulled her arm out of Cullen's grip. "Tata."
She walked out of the library and started her way to the stairs. On her way down she heard footsteps following hers and she quickened her pace. She made her way to an empty closet, sat on a crate, and waited for whomever was following to walk by. She was Alistair walk by the room but seconds later stand in the doorway with arms crossed. He looked back and forth and shut the door behind him as he entered the room. He walked up to her and she looked down and picked at her skirts. Finally after a long silence he spoke. "Have I done something wrong to upset you?"
She looked away from him but his hand caught her chin and pulled her face in his direction. She sighed. "I-, I got jealous okay? I didn't like it when you kissed Darcy's hand, now she is going to talk about you all the time and how dreamy you are. And when you kissed Ellie's hand she, ugh, she gave you 'I am so having a taste of that' eyes. It made me want to punch her daylights out." She shrugged and pulled away from him and looked down. "I get jealous quite quickly so there."
Alistair knelt and looked into her face. "I have eyes only for you, you must understand that here and now. I will never betray you nor will I ever hurt you. Please you must know that."
She nodded her head and wrapped her arms, collecting him into a hug. "I know." She sighed. "It's just you're so kind and handsome I'll have to be fending off the girls." She laughed. "Except I won't. It would be best of we acted well, not like this while we're out there. I'll do what I've always done and you do whatever it is you do. Is that alright?"
He nodded his head. "I wouldn't want anything to happen to you so it's for the best."
She smiled and kissed his cheek and stood, and spoke while walking to the door. "Agreed. I won't hurt you, you won't hurt me. Simple." She waved as she left.
Alistair sat on the crate and thought of the events that would be happening the next night. "Maker I hope I can hold this pact." He whispered and thought about the events to come.
Here we are! Man it was long and yeah. I know things happened pretty quickly I just wanted to start getting to actual plot things because my mind. We are going places in it.
