*sighs in disappointment at my timing* Sorry, eh?
I hope you enjoy. Thank you for sticking around!
This chapter is just super fluffy and I wanted it like that because cuteness! Aannnnd then it gets awesome ;)
Sometime after the two brothers left, Switzerland managed to fall asleep. He was rudely awakened two hours later by a soft knock on the door.
"Big Brother? You have another visitor. He wanted to see if you were alright." Liechtenstein's melodic voice stabbed his grogginess enough for him to answer with a muffled "Alright", before actually thinking about his decision.
"Okay. I'll bring him up." She said, before her footsteps could be heard walking away. He sunk deeper into the pillows, scratching at the top of his head. His hat...
"SHIT!" He said, sitting bolt upright, weariness forgotten in a bolt of adrenaline. He searched around his bed frantically, groaning when he came up empty handed. Looking around the room, he noticed a towel left over from the laundry he did yesterday. He made a mad grab for it and quickly covered his head in a fashion similar to what you do with a fever. It helped that all the running around and pure terror had made him red in the face. He could hear footsteps coming from down the hall as he dashed back to his bed and tried to rearrange the covers to something that didn't look like it had been tossed around. He laid back just as the door opened to reveal Liechtenstein and...Austria?
"You? What are you doing here?" Switzerland asked. Austria rolled his eyes, a manner very unbecoming of a "gentleman" like him.
"Oh, I don't know. Probably hunt some elephants. They seem very popular here, what do you think? I came here to check up on you, dummkopf."
"Wow, sarcasm? I didn't know you had it in you Mr. "Gentleman"." Switzerland shot back, annoyed.
"Ahh, I'm just going to leave you two to chat..." Liechtenstein said quietly, wanting to get away from the two colliding personalities. She inched her way out of the room. Austria's angry expression softened.
"I'm genuinely worried about you. What you did in the meeting was very unlike you, especially jumping up and running out. It was almost terrifying, if I'm honest, even Germany was speechless." The Austrian's face was pink, as if admitting that he had feelings or emotions in general was embarrassing.
"Oh." Switzerland didn't expect that. Austria was worried about him? But, wasn't he mad at him for whatever reason? ...Apparently not... "Thanks."
"..What?"
"Thank you...you know..for coming to check on me. It means alot. But, I'm perfectly fine, so try not to worry." He smiled. Austria smiled back.
"Oh, by the way, I wanted to show you something. I saw it on the news shortly before coming here. It's bizarre." He picked up the remote on the bedside table and flipped on the TV to a news station. An airbrushed redhead was in the middle of a story.
"...*alarmierende Höhe von streunenden Katzen haben begonnen, in der ganzen Schweiz erscheint. Die Ursache für diese Streuner ist unbekannt, aber es ist ein Anliegen, dass diese Streuner kann die Ursache des Ausbruchs einer Grippe-ähnliche Krankheiten sein. Ein vollständiger Bericht wird heute Abend um 11 freigegeben werden*." She then went on about the summer heat and other topics. Switzerland was at a loss for words. Stray cats? Was he the cause of it, since he was the representation of his country?
"I-I have no idea." He said. Austria looked at him and shut the TV off.
"What if you have this so called 'flu-like disease?'" He leaned over Switzerland and placed his hand on the blonde's forehead, ignoring the cloth. "It doesn't seem like you have a fever..."
Switzerland stayed deathly still, afraid to move and have the cloth fall off. He started when Austria chuckled.
"Remember when we were united and you would tend to me after battle? I was a horrible soldier...always getting hurt. Ehehe. You would always tell me that I should train, but I just didn't want to." He smiled. Switzerland looked at him in surprise.
"You...remember that?"
"Of course. We were such good friends when we were little." Austria's hand moved from his forehead to the top of his head absentmindedly. Switzerland inhaled sharply, but didn't say anything. Don't move the cloth, don't do it... His mind thought in terror.
Austria didn't remove the cloth, but his hand slid over it, creating a pressure to the blonde's ears that made him moan lightly as that same jolt of liquid electricity slid through his veins. Austria's hand jumped away in alarm.
"I-I'm sorry! Did I hurt you?"
The blonde shook his head no, not exactly trusting his voice. He carefully closed his legs, even though they were under the blanket. He did not want Austria to see the problem he'd caused.
"N-No. I just have...a headache. It hurt me suddenly...nothing to do with you." His excuse even sounded lame to him, but it must have made sense to the brunette, because he nodded as if he understood.
"Well, I'll leave you to get better, then. If you want, you can call me if you need anything. You have my number."
Switzerland nodded again as Austria started to walk out, not noticing that the cloth was slipping juust a bit...
"Hey, are you sure you don't need anything before I leave? I can tell Lili* on my way out." The brunette turned to ask. The blonde shook his head again, and as he did so...
His little measure of safety fell off his head.
Austria stared as Switzerland's cat ears popped up and twitched, before Switzerland let out a (very) manly shriek and flattened them to his head with his hands. His eyes were wide in alarm as Austria's face went from confused to alarmed to downright horrified (or at least, that's what it seemed).
"A-Are those...cat...ears?" He asked in a shaky voice. Switzerland could feel the ground that was his life sliding out from under him.
"Please don't say anything! Nobody knows, not even Liechtenstein! Well, except the bastards that did this to me, but that's besides the point..." He leaped out of bed. "I know you're freaked out, but I didn't choose for this to happen!" He felt all his pride slowly ebb out of him. Was he seriously begging? And to the stuffy aristocrat? He was tempted to just grab his gun and shoot himself now.
"...Okay."
The answer startled Switzerland.
"Wait, what?"
"Okay. I understand. There's no reason to for me to lose my composure over something you can't reverse by yourself." Austria's voice was still trembling in disbelief, but he seemed calm enough. Switzerland sank to the floor next to his bed, sighing in relief.
"Thank you. So much."
Austria smirked suddenly and walked over, the initial shock of the event seemingly gone.
"Who did this to you, anyway?" He asked, running his hand along Switzerland's ears.
"Nyyaa...d-don't do that! It was Scotland and Wales. They were pulling a prank on England and I got in the way." He gasped. Austria stared at him for a few seconds before pulling his ear again. A strange rumbling sound started of its own accord. His ears twitched.
"Ny-Fucking STOP, man!" He bit down a moan.
"You're purring."
This answer also startled Switzerland.
"I-I'm what?"
"Purring." Austria chuckled. "Almost like a cat. That means you like getting your ears scratched, kitty."
"If you ever call me that again, I will shoot you." He said, only half joking. He was now aware that the rumbling noise was occurring deep in his throat, in an area that didn't affect his voice. He grimaced. "FUuuuuuck."
"Oh, you have a tail too? Interesting..." Austria said, with a smirk that Switzerland didn't even have to see to know it was on his face. "It's..uh..very fluffy."
"Shut up, Mr. Gentleman." He said, slowly getting up from the ground.
"So, these are actually attached to you?" The aristocrat asked, grabbing his tail and gently pulling.
A sudden intense feeling of...no, it couldn't be. Pleasure?! It shot through him with such an intensity that he collapsed on his hands and knees. He moaned involuntarily.
"Oh my god. What did I do? Are you alright?" Austria asked, holding out a hand.
"G-God Dammit! Ah~Why did you do that?" Switzerland asked in a husky voice. His face was bright red, and he was shaking. He ignored Austria's hand and clumsily got up.
"I'm sorry! I didn't know pulling your tail would cause you to..." His words trailed off as he took in the blonde's red, slightly breathless face. His face returned to that annoying smirk as he put two and two together.
Well, shit. He knows now. Way to go, dumbass. Switzerland's inner critic spoke up harshly. Another, deeper, secretive part of him was glad Austria knew. He quickly squashed that idea.
"What?" He asked in a daring tone.
"I apologize. I wasn't aware that your new appendages were so...sensitive." Austria's smile turned into something that looked..almost sexy. Switzerland shivered, despite the fact that the room (and he) was about 100 degrees Celsius. Jesus baby fucking Christ, what was wrong with him?!
"Well, I must be heading out. I have a meeting with a supervisor. But call me if you need anything." He smirked and ran a finger over the blonde's ear again. "Anything."
Switzerland couldn't hold back the moan that escaped his lips at the Austrian's touch, and he immediately regretted it. Austria chuckled darkly before slowly walking out.
"Oh, and don't worry. Your secret is safe with me, Kätzchen*."
And then he left, leaving a thoroughly confused, sexily frustrated Swiss Neko behind.
*German: ... alarming amount of stray cats have started appearing all over Switzerland. The cause for these strays is unknown, but there is a concern that these strays may be the cause of an outbreak of flu like diseases. A full report will be released tonight at 11. * I figured that they may speak English to each other, but since Switzerland the country is a German country...well, you do the math. And thank you to Anonymous Guest for giving me this idea.
*Lili: We all know that "Lily" is Liechtenstein's official human name, but in my story it is also an affectionate nickname that Austria gave her, hence the "I" instead of a "Y".
*Kätzchen: Kitty in german.
SO! I hope you enjoyed! Holy shit, Austria found out in the THIRD CHAPTER! Even I didn't see that coming! As always, comment your opinion, or don't. I don't mind. But I really love seeing your guys' reactions to my story.
POLL TIME! Which would you prefer to happen next? Liechtenstein finding out about Switzerland's problem, or Austria having a little "fun" with him first?
Love ya!
