Last time, Zack was showing his cousin Sarah around. After school, Zack, James, Carly, and Sarah were taking a walk, while taking about Sarah's first day at Kadic. Then suddenly, a Spectre attacked them! James and Carly are handling the Spectre, while Zack get's Sarah to safety and deactivate the Tower on Lyoko. Will he be able to do it? Read and Find out! Chapter 16: A Ninja Warrior
Zack, Sarah, and Justin were getting out of the elevator and into the Computer Room. Then, Justin sat down and checked which sector the activated tower is.
"You know I had to skip my after school for this right?" asked Justin.
"You can skip one at least to stop XANA's attack." said Zack.
"Yeah. XANA's more important." said Justin.
"Zack, what the heck is going on?!" Sarah shouted.
"Don't worry about it Sarah. Besides, this will all be over soon. and you won't remember any of this anyways." replied Zack.
"What?!" shouted Sarah.
"Alright, the activated Tower is in Sector 5." said Justin.
"Wow. I didn't think Sector 5 had any towers." said Zack.
"It does. But that doesn't matter! Just get to the scanners Zack!" yelled Justin.
"Right." said Zack, running to the scanners.
Then, someone grabbed Zack's arm.
"Zack wait! What is going on?!" Sarah shouted.
"Don't worry Sarah. Like I said, this will all be over soon. Justin, protect her from whoever XANA possessed this time." said Zack.
"Right." replied Justin.
"But Zack!" shouted Sarah.
"Again! don't worry. This will be over soon. and everything is going to be fine." said Zack.
Then, Zack went down the ladder into the Scanner Room and went in a scanner.
"Alright, let's go! Transfer Zack!" yelled Justin.
The scanner closed.
"Scanner Zack!" yelled Justin.
The scanner scanned Zack.
"Virtualization!" yelled Justin.
Then, the scanner sent Zack to Lyoko.
On Lyoko
Zack was then Virtualized in Sector 5 and landed.
"Here's the Overwing Zack." said Justin.
The Overwing was then virtualized to Zack and he jumped on it.
Ok Zack. Go 10 miles foward. Then go East." said Justin.
"Right, on it." said Zack.
Then, Zack went foward to the activated tower.
Meanwhile, with Carly and James
Carly and James were still fighting the spectre, so they can buy Zack some time to deactivate the tower on Lyoko.
"Ow!" shouted Carly, falling down.
"Carly!" shouted James.
Then, the Spectre shocked James with his electrical hands.
"Ahhhhhhh!" shouted James, falling down from the electrical shock.
"I don't get it. The guy XANA possessed this time feels way more stronger than the others." said Carly.
"Yeah. Your right. But we can't worry about that right now. We have to keep fighting till Zack deactivates the tower. Grrr! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" shouted James, charging at the Spectre.
The Spectre then tried to attack James with his electrical fingers. But James successfully dodged every one of them.
"Ha ha! I've got you now!" yelled James, still charging at the spectre.
Then, James threw a punch to the Spectre stomach.
"Yes! Huh?" asked James, surprised.
Then, James saw that his fist went through the Spectre.
"What the heck!" yelled James.
Then, the Spectre punched James in the face, knocking him down on the ground.
"OW!" shouted James.
"James, are you ok?!" shouted Carly.
"Yeah. But... why did my fist went through him. Unless... gasp! He's a Spectre!" yelled James.
"What? What's a Spectre?" asked Carly.
"Listen. This guy isn't possessed. He's not even human. XANA created him." replied James.
"Really?" asked Carly.
"Yeah. But I don't get it. XANA's Spectres aren't supposed to be this strong." replied James.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" shouted the Spectre, charging at Carly and James.
Back on Lyoko
Alright! I see the activated tower. Strange. It's not guarded. Then this well be a cake walk!" yelled Zack.
"Wait Zack! Don't you think this is suspicious that XANA is not guarding the Tower. Then we would be able to win easily. This is obviously a trap." said Justin.
"Well we won't know untill we try!" yelled Zack, going toward the activated Tower.
Then, a wide, giant laser tried to attack Zack. But luckily, Zack saw it and jumped off his Overwing and the Overwing was devirtualized by the laser.
"What the?!" shouted Zack.
Zack then saw a Megatank rolling out of hiding.
"AH! What the heck is that thing?!" shouted Zack.
"That's a Megatank. Their one of XANA's strongest monsters." replied Justin.
"Well that thing is gonna flatten me like a pancake!" yelled Zack.
Then, the Megatank closed into it's shell and rolled toward Zack.
"I don't think so. Time for some wing action." said Zack.
Zack pressed his star watch and activated his wings and flew above the Megatank.
"Energy Field!" yelled Zack.
Zack generated his Energy Field and hit the Megatank with it. But it wasn't devirtualized.
"What?! How come it wasn't devirtulized?!" shouted Zack.
"It's because of it's shell. That thing's shell can withstand any attack. That's why he's one of XANA's most powerful monsters. Plus it's Circular Laser attack." replied Justin. "Head's up! Here come's another roll attack!"
Zack successfully dodged the Megatank's rolling attack.
"This battle is not gonna be an easy one." said Zack.
Back with Carly and James
Carly and James were having a hard time with the Spectre.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" shouted both Carly and James, being knocked down to the ground from the spectre attack.
"Ow. That stings." said Carly.
"Yeah. There's got to be a way to beat him." said James.
James looked at the Spectre. Then looked at the Spectre electrical hands. Then, he looked at the lake in the park.
"That's it!" James thought.
James then got up and charged at the Spectre.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" shouted James, charging at the Spectre.
The Spectre tried to attack James with his electrical hands. But once again, James dodged every electrical attack. James then was able to tackle the Spectre lake in the park!
"James!" shouted Carly.
Back on Lyoko
Zack was still having trouble with the Megatank in Sector 5.
"Energy Field!" yelled Zack.
Zack generated an Energy Field and shot it at the Megatank. But unfortunately, the Megatank went into it's shell and didn't take any damage again!
"Darn it!" yelled Zack.
"Zack, if one Energy Field didn't work, 10 more won't work either." said Justin.
"Well I have to try something. Cause right now, that's my only option." said Zack.
"Hold on. Let me search for it's weakness. You just keep that thing distracted till I do. and don't get devirtualized either." said Justin.
"Okay. But hurry. This thing is one tough cookie" said Zack.
"Right, on it!" yelled James.
Now, Justin is finding the Megatanks weakness, while Zack keeps it busy.
Meanwhile, with Carly and James
James was now in the lake with the Spectre.
"GRRR! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" yelled the Spectre, raising his electrical fist up.
"Yes! Perfect timing!" thought James.
James swam to the Spectre and grabbed him. Then, the Spectre shocked James. But for some reason, the Spectre's attack shocked it too!
"Ha! I did it! Electricity is XANA's Spectre's weaknesses. and last I checked, water doesn't mix well with electricity. Funny though. Since the Spectre uses electricity to fight." thought James.
Then, the shock blew James and the Spectre out of the water and landed face down on the ground.
"Oh on, James!" shouted Carly, running toward James.
Meanwhile, on Lyoko
Zack is still trying to distract the Megatank, while Justin finds it's weakness.
"Yes! Zack I found it!" yelled Justin.
"Finally! What do I have to do?" asked Zack.
"Okay. When I give the signal, shoot an Energy Field at the Megatank. and make sure it hits the front." replied Justin.
"Alright." said Zack.
Zack waited for a while and then the Megatank opened it's shell, getting ready to fire another Circular Laser.
"Now!" yelled Justin.
"Energy Field!" yelled Zack.
Zack generated an Energy Field and it hit the sign that looks like an eye on the Megatank and destroyed it.
"Yes! But how did that work?" asked Zack.
"Well, that sign that looks like an eye on every one of XANA's monsters are their weaknesses. So once it get's hit, it destroys the monster." replied Justin.
"Cool. Now for the Tower." said Zack.
Zack was now going to the activated Tower.
In the Computer Room
"Huh?" asked Justin.
Justin then heard the computer beeping and saw a red dot, which is an ememy, coming toward Zack.
"What's wrong?" asked Sarah.
"It seems there's an ememy close to Zack's location. I'll check it out." replied Justin
Justin checked the red dot and figured out what ememy it was.
"Okay. I Got it. Wait. Don't tell it's that ememy! Oh no. Zack!" yelled Justin.
On Lyoko
Zack,you better get in that activated Tower quick!" yelled Justin.
"Why? Is something wrong?" Zack asked.
"No time to explain. Just get in the Tower!" shouted Justin.
"Calm down Justin. What's going on?" asked Zack.
Then, Zack heard a sound coming from behind him and turned around. and when he did, he saw a giant squid!
"What the heck is that?!" shouted Zack.
"It's the Scyphozoa! One of XANA's most dangerous monsters." replied Justin.
"Then I'll just destroy." said Zack.
"Don't! It's not easy destroying the Scyphozoa." said Justin.
"Why?" asked Zack.
"Cause it has the power to control people!" replied Justin.
"Say whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?!" shouted Zack.
"Hurry and get into the Tower!" said Justin.
Zack tried to run into the Tower. But the Scyphozoa caught Zack with it's tentacles and made a circle with it's tentacles and started to take control of Zack!
Back in the Computer Room
"Oh no! It got him!" yelled Justin.
"I still don't know what's going on. But it sounds like my cousin is in trouble." said Sarah.
"Oh no! This is bad. and we don't have Carly and James to help him out, cause they're still handling the Spectre.
"So what do we do?! Is there anyway to help Zack?!" shouted Sarah.
"Let me think." replied Justin.
Justin thought for a while. Suddenly he had an idea.
"I got no choice. Sarah. I need you to do me a favor." said Justin.
Back with Carly and James
Carly was running up to James after being splashed out of the water with the Spectre.
"James are you alright?!" shouted Carly.
"Y-yeah. It hurts a little. But yeah. I'm fine." replied James.
"Good. So, you finished off the Spectre?" asked Carly.
"Yeah. I think so." replied James.
But then, the Spectre opened his eyes and got up.
"Gasp!" gasped Carly.
"No way! He survived that?!" shouted James.
"Yeah. and he looks mad." replied Carly.
"Grrrrrrrrrrrrr! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" shouted the Spectre, charging at Carly and James.
Back on Lyoko
Zack was about to be controlled by the Scyphozoa.
"Oh no! Zack's almost completely controlled!" yelled Justin.
Just then, when the Scyphozoa was almost finished controlling Zack, a flying spinning fan cut off three of it's tentacles. Then, Zack fell down to the ground.
"Ow! That hurt. Justin, do you know who saved me?" asked Zack.
"The answer is right in front of you Zack." replied a familiar voice.
Zack then saw a Orange, Long Haired girl, with two fans in both hands, and her clothing has a little bit of Purple, but mostly Black.
"Who are you?" asked Zack.
"Haven't you guessed already?" asked the girl.
"Wait. Sarah is that you?!" shouted Zack.
"Sorry Zack. I had to sent Sarah to Lyoko to save you." replied Justin.
"You could have thought of something else?!" shouted Zack.
"Sorry. We had no choice." replied Justin.
"But I don't want to bring my cousin into this." said Zack.
"Gasp! Zack look out behind you!" yelled Sarah.
"Huh?" asked Zack
Zack turned around and saw the Scyphozoa coming toward him.
"I got it!" yelled both Sarah and Zack.
"Energy Field!" yelled Zack.
"Hi ya!" yelled Sarah, throwing her fans.
Zack and Sarah used their attacks at once and they combined into one attack. Then, it hit and devirtualized the Scyphozoa.
"Whoa! That was awesome you guys!" exclaimed Justin.
"Thanks Justin." said Sarah.
"I think I would call that move an Energy Fan Field Attack." said Zack.
"Yeah! That's perfect!" exclaimed Sarah.
"Um. Can you guys talk about this later?! Deactivate the Tower!" yelled Justin.
"Right, sorry." said Zack.
Zack then ran inside the activated Tower. He then floated up and landed. Then, he put his hand on the Tower's computer panel and it said Zack_. Then it said Code Lyoko_.
"Tower deactivated." said Zack.
Back with Carly and James
The Spectre was about to attack Carly and James.
"Oh no." thought Carly.
"Dang it! I guess this is it." thought James.
Then, the Spectre stopped it's attack and it disappeared.
"Sweet! Zack did it!" yelled Carly.
"Yeah. Ow!" said James.
"Oh! James are you ok?" asked Carly.
"Now, I don't know. I can't move. I don't think I'm gonna make it." said James.
"Hang in there James. I'm gonna get you to a Hospital." said Carly.
Then, Carly grabbed James and ran to the Hospital.
Back on Lyoko
Zack then came out of the Tower.
"Zack. What did you just do in there?" asked Sarah.
"I'll tell you everything after a Return to the Past since your now part of the team." replied Zack.
"Huh?" asked Sarah.
In the Computer Room
Justin was now typing in the Return to the Past commands.
"Return to the Past now!" yelled Justin.
Justin hit Enter and a huge light covered the world.
At Kadic
So anyways. Sarah is now part of the team." said Zack, finishing explaining what happened to Carly and James when he was on Lyoko
"Wow! That's awesome!" exclaimed Carly.
"Well, welcome to the team Sarah." said James.
"Thank you. and Zack you said you would tell me what's going on after the Return to the Past." said Sarah.
"Well it's kinda hard to explain. So here. Take this flash drive and it will tell you everything." said Zack.
"Thanks." said Sarah.
"Although, this Scyphozoa sounds really dangerous." said James.
"Yeah. We're gonna have to be extra careful not to run into it." said Justin.
"Yeah. I don't want to almost get controlled again." said Zack.
"But anyways. Sarah, are you serious about using fans to fight on Lyoko?" asked Carly.
"Yep." replied Sarah.
"Wow! I wish I could use that too." said Carly.
"Carly your unbelievable." said James.
Then everyone laughed.
