Here is the new chapter. Thank you so much for your lovely reviews. Enjoy.

She woke up early the next morning, the cold sheets revealing his absence. He was not there. She was used to it. Probably he went to the beach to catch some waves, as usually. She smiled. Marty Deeks was a good man. And she loved him. But last night his revelation made her insecure and quite anxious. What the hell was that incident with Kensi? Why was she back? And especially why now? She had to call someone familiar. Someone who knew well their situation. She grabbed her phone and dialed the number.

"Hey Sam. It's Natasha."

"Hey Natasha. Everything alright? Is Deeks ok?"

"Yeah yeah. Marty is fine. Gone surfing."

"So what's going on? Don't get me wrong. I am just not used to taking calls from you."

"I am a little bit concerned. It is something he said the other night and I don't know what to do."

"What did he say?"

"He said that he saw Kensi. After two whole years."

"What?"

"Kensi came by yesterday."

"Seriously?"

"Yeah. And its driving me crazy Sam. i don't know how Marty is going to react now. He has been far away and distant since he saw her.

"Don't worry. Deeks knows how much you love him. Don't worry."

"It's just…You know. We are getting married in Friday. And…"

"I'll talk to him. Ok?"

"Yeah yeah. Thank you Sam," she said and then hung up, a little bit relieved.

He was more than an hour in the water when he saw her. Barefoot with the same white dress. Like an angel, he thought. It was quite funny how he hadn't seen her in two years and now he tends to bump into her every day. She was playing with the sand, sitting near his stuff and waiting.

"Hey there."

"Hey"

"I thought I would never see you again after yesterday's events."

"Why not?"

"I don't know. You left unexpectedly. I thought I did something wrong."

"Did you?"

"Is that a trick question?"

"No I'm just kidding. I had some stuff to do. No time to explain."

"Ok. So what brings you here?"

"I don't know. I woke up this morning, I needed a walk and I came here. And then I saw you and I thought I would be a good idea to wait for you and apologize for my saddened disappearance yesterday."

"Is that so?"

"Yes. And maybe you will be a gentleman and offer a girl some donuts for breakfast."

"That's an awesome idea actually. Would you like to go buy the donuts while I am putting on some clothes? My treat."

"Well… why don't I wait here while you are doing both?"

"Ok woman. You won. I won't be late. Don't leave again."

"I won't." True to her word she was waiting for him as he changed out of his swimsuit and bought them breakfast. They sat in silence to enjoy their food when he observed something rather amusing and unusual.

"That's all you are going to eat? A donut? Just one? Come on. I bought all your favorites. Don't tell me Kensi Blye feels shy after all this time!"

"No, it's not that. I don't know if you remember, but I am not allowed to eat this stuff anymore."

"Oh yeah."

"You forgot, didn't you?" she smiled bitterly.

"No no. I didn't."

"Yes you did," she insisted. "It's ok. I don't expect you to remember these things about me anymore."

"I remember everything about you. I will always remember everything about you."

"That's kind of sweet," she mumbled.

"Thank you, I suppose."

"Yeah…"

"I missed you Kens," he said before he could control himself. He closed his eyes kicking himself for that confession. What was he thinking? Now she was going to run.

"I missed you too," she said and he was sure. It was his imagination playing tricks.

"What?"

"You heard me."

"Say it again."

"I missed you, too, Deeks."

"God! I missed my name coming out of your lips."

"Doesn't she call you Deeks? I bet she calls you Marty, right?"

"Where does that come from? What Natasha has to do with anything that we are saying?"

"I don't know," she suddenly yelled. "You said you missed me. Why are you with her? You missed me as a partner? As a friend? What? Are you playing with me?" he soon cut her off with his lips on hers. How he missed her taste, her warmth, her skin.

"Does that answer your question?" he asked as she pulled back surprised.

"I should go," she said getting up from her position.

"Wait Kensi…"

"I really have thing to do."

"My car is here…I can drive you back home."

"No its ok. I will walk. Bye," she said and ran away. Soon he couldn't see her. How could he be so stupid and kiss her? Why couldn't he control himself near her? And on earth was he going to tell Natasha? He wouldn't be able to lie to her and he was gonna hurt her. She didn't deserve that. It was his entire fault again.

Later that night he found himself unable to sleep. He decided to get some fresh air and clear his mind. He sat on the front porch thinking for what seemed like hours. Soon he felt a hand on his shoulders and a body sitting near him. There she was. His soon to be wife, with only his black shirt on, trying to comfort him.

"You can't sleep," she said. More a statement than a question.

"No."

"What's wrong?"

"Just thinking."

"Wanna talk?"

"Not really."

"You'll feel better."

"I don't know."

"Is it about Kensi?"

"Well yeah."

"You saw her again, right?"

'I kissed her," he confessed.

"You…you kissed her?"

"Yeah"

"How was it?"

"What?"

"Was it good?"

"Amazing," he said and immediately kicked himself for that. He wasn't talking to his best friend. This was his fiancé. Why couldn't he stop the words that were coming out of his mouth that day? They stayed in silence for some moments, until she couldn't take it anymore.

"Marty…"

"I know. I shouldn't have done it. I'm sorry. It won't happen again. I promise," he said as he noticed a lone figure standing across the street.

"Marty look at me."

"What?" he said looking at her blue eyes.

"We should visit a doctor."

"What? Why?" he asked confused.

"Kensi is dead, honey."
