Here is the new chapter. Thank for your lovely reviews. Enjoy.

"What?"

"You heard me, Marty."

"You mean…You can't see her?"

"Kensi is here? Like now?" she asked and as he nodded with a frightened look on his face, she gathered him in her arms trying to comfort him. "Hey relax. Look around. Look. Nobody is here," she said. "It's ok."

It was Thursday. A day before the wedding that he managed to visit the psychiatrist that Natasha learnt about from a friend. He was waiting for quite some time when the doctor called his name.

"Natasha called me, Mr. Deeks and explained the situation. You don't have to feel embarrassed. It happens to lots of people. We are all dealing with loss in a different way. So will you be able to answer some of my questions?"

"Sure," he replied a little ashamed that Natasha had already talked with the doctor about everything without his agreement.

"So, when did Kensi die?"

"Two years ago. More or less."

"Ok. And how long were you two partners?"

"Six years."

"Were you a couple?"

"When she died?"

"Yeah"

"No"

"But you were once, weren't you?"

"Yeah, we broke up though."

"Reasons?"

"I bet Natasha told you. There is no need for me to repeat."

"She did. But I prefer to hear your point of view."

"She was sick. And stubborn. And she thought that I would pity her if we stayed together."

"How did she die?"

"That's something I don't want to talk about. Yet."

"Ok. But you will have to, eventually."

"I know."

"Were you there when she died?"

"You can say that."

"Well, did you two remain partners after you broke up?"

"Yeah"

"Why?"

"We were best friends. Professionals. And we still loved each other. We couldn't trust anyone else and I knew that although we weren't together anymore, she would need me one day or another. And I would be there. No matter what."

"Did you go to the funeral?"

"No"

"Why?"

"I was in the hospital."

"Ok. So how long is Kensi back?"

"A couple of days."

"Had something happened to trigger your visions?"

"They are not visions. I can see here. I can feel her," he said somehow angry.

"Look Mr. Deeks, sometimes, when a new page in our life comes, we tend to look back at our past. Maybe you need to close that chapter of your life."

"Maybe"

"So, I'll prescribe some pills for you. You'll take one every day and you will come back in a couple of weeks to see the results, ok?"

"Ok," he said and left the office.

Leaving the pharmacy behind, with the pills in hand, he decided to walk back home. Near the sea to clear his mind and think. That's what he was thinking until she appeared again.

"Hey," she said cheerfully.

"What do you want?"

'You can say hi, I'll not bite," she smiled.

"What's wrong again, Kensi?"

"I thought you would be happy to see me."

"I am not."

"She is the reason, isn't she?" she said as tears formed in the corners of her eyes.

"Oh now what? You are going to cry? You know, how I know you are fake? That you are not real? You cry. And Kensi never cried."

"Why are you so mean? What have I done?"

"You are back."

"Is that a bad thing?"

"Yes. Go away."

"You don't want me to."

"Oh I want you to."

"I am part of you. Just know that if you had really wanted me to go, I would have gone."

"Why are you back?"

"Because I love you," she confessed.

"If you love me, go away, Kensi."

"But you love me too. You still love me," she said, that's when he started running. But she was faster. "Where are we going?" she asked.

"I am going home. To my fiancé. You are staying here."

"Why can't I come?"

"Because it's my home."

"So?"

"You are not welcome."

"I was once," she said disappointed.

"Leave me alone. And get rid of that awful dress."

"You liked it, once."

"I've never seen it before."

"You forgot," she smiled bitterly.

"You know what? I can get rid of you," he said and opened the little jar that contained the pills. "Look at me," he smiled sarcastically and took one. He turned his back and left ignoring the tears running down her face. Soon she was gone. Her figure faded and when he turned to see if she was still following him, he saw nothing. That's what he wanted right? But why emptiness filled his heart? Why couldn't he remember her face? Her eyes? No no. he didn't want to forget. Not her. "Kensi, I am sorry. Come back," he whispered but she didn't oblige this time.
