Here is a new chapter. I am waiting for your lovely reviews. Enjoy.
Previously:
He was returning home when he saw her sitting on his front door's step. She was back. Angry. Eyes burning holes.
"Hey," he smiled. "Where have you been?"
"Where you sent me," she answered dryly and slapped him hard on the face.
"Excuse me?" he said stunned from her sudden outburst.
"You sent me to hell the other day. Why am I back?"
"I didn't send you anywhere."
"I asked you why I am back," she yelled.
"Wanna come in?" he asked.
"NO…I want to know why you are doing this."
"I am sorry."
"No you aren't. What do you think? That I'll always be here? That I'll be coming back every time you send me away? That I am willing to play the third wheel in that crazy life of yours?"
"I am sorry"
"I don't want you to be sorry. I want you to take a decision. Do you want me here or not?" she asked on the verge of tears. "I can't share you with her," she almost whispered and that was all he needed to take her in his embrace and whisper his apologies a million times. He soon lifted her in his arms and carried her in the bedroom. There were everything started between them. Where they were once living their love and where now he was living with another woman. In a desperate need he took off her dress strap by strap, kissing the soft skin of her shoulders. He wasn't feeling crazy. Quite the opposite. He was, finally, feeling alive after years. And when they made love he couldn't help but smile and think the first night they spent together back then.
"What's wrong?"
"You know if we do this, this changes everything," she whispered.
"So what do you want to do?"
"I don't want to have to choose."
"Then don't, don't choose. We don't choose."
"No, that's not how it works. What do you think is gonna happen?"
"I don't know. I don't care."
"What are you doing to me, Deeks?"
"Falling in love with you," he mumbled as she was silencing him with her lips.
"What's wrong?" she asked as she felt him travelling far away.
"Just thinking."
"You regret it?"
"No absolutely not."
"Then what?"
"Do you think I am going crazy?"
"I can't answer that."
"Why not?"
"You have to answer that yourself."
"If I figure it out, you will never come back, right?"
"I honestly don't know," she said and snuggled deeper into his chest.
"I miss you, Kens," he said. "Every day."
"I am here now."
"I mean…I miss you. The real you."
"I will not answer that."
It was later; they were watching TV on the couch, when the words left her mouth.
"I miss the guys."
"They miss you, too."
"I wanna see them. Will you bring me with you tomorrow?"
"Yeah, sure."
"Awesome," she cheered. "They'll be happy to see us."
"Yeah, they'll be happy to see US."
"What?" she asked confused.
"Kensi you realize that they can't see you, right? That you are part of my imagination."
"Ok, sorry." She said disappointment clear in her voice.
"No no, I am sorry. We should go. They'll be happy to see us."
"You know, I can leave if you want me to" she said, but he didn't have time to reply as Natasha entered the house.
"Hey honey," she smiled and gave him a kiss that for sure made Kensi glare at the other female.
"Hey"
"What are you doing?"
"We are watching the game."
"We?"
"Yeah, we as in me and Monty. I mean Monty and me. We, the boys, are watching the game."
"You are weird," she laughed. "Give me a minute and I'll join you in that old furniture you call couch."
"I like that couch," Kensi whispered.
"I like that couch," he said.
"Of course you do," she replied sarcastically and left the room.
"You didn't answer my question," Kensi insisted.
"Kens, this is not the right time."
"Because SHE is here, right?"
"Yeah. She is here. And her name is Natasha. You can call her Natasha."
"And SHE will sleep on the bed that WE made love, a little while ago. SHE will sleep with you tonight. SHE can feel you beside her, every night. Every morning. She can feel you touch her."
"Stop yelling, she will hear you."
"SHE CAN'T HEAR ME."
"Honey," Natasha's voice came from down the hall. "Who are you talking to?" she asked as she appeared on the living room.
"Monty," he quickly replied. "He insists on watching that documentary he likes so much."
"You are such a baby," she laughed. "Make some space for me," she said and moved to sit beside him.
"No," he said quite abruptly. "I mean… Monty is quite comfortable here. I think we should leave this poor boy on his own," he tried to explain.
"Oh"
"Don't bother. I'll leave Mr. and Mrs. Deeks on their own," Kensi said and left the space next to him.
"No… wait. Don't go," he said and as Natasha looked at him suspiciously he kicked himself. "Monty. I am talking to Monty. He is such a gentleman sometimes. He wants to leave. But he won't, right Monty?" he asked and grabbed Kensi's hand, pulling her back to him.
"Marty are you ok?" his wife asked worried.
"Yeah. Yeah. I am great."
"Ok. I am going to our bed," she said seductively. "Wanna join me?"
"OUR bed." Kensi mimicked the other woman's voice and made Deeks laugh.
"What's so funny, honey?"
"Nothing, nothing."
"So are you coming or what?"
"No. Well…I think I'll pass tonight. I want to see the game. Go to sleep and I'll join you later."
"Ok," she said disappointed and left the old partners alone in the living room.
"You should join her if you want," Kensi whispered.
"I don't want to."
"She may be a better companion."
"She isn't. No one is better companion than you," he said and that little statement brought a smile to her face.
The morning came rather early for his liking and brought him a sore back from his position on the couch. Brown locks covering his chest, limbs tangled together, steady breathing on his neck. She was so beautiful.
"You slept on the couch?" Natasha came to find him still lying there with Kensi on top of him.
"I must fell asleep, during the game."
"TV is off."
"Whatever. Don't make it a big deal."
"I'll make it a big deal. That was the third day as a married couple and you haven't even touched me yet. And now I find you here. You didn't even come to our bed last night."
"If she says our bed one more time, I'll borrow your gun and shoot her myself," Kensi mumbled.
"Marty don't laugh. That's not funny. If something is wrong just say it."
"Nothing is wrong Natasha. Get over yourself."
"Very well. I am going to work."
"I'll leave too. In a while."
"Oh. Don't forget your pills."
"I won't."
"Let me bring them to you and then I'll leave."
"Don't bother. I know the way. I'll take them myself."
"Ok, see you later," she said and left.
"You are not taking them, right?" Kensi asked.
"No I am not," he said and kissed her soundly.
